Chapter 8, the Mysteries of Heaven

Even though it killed me to let her go, I did as she wished and they started performing the surgery. When the baby came out, they announced that she was a girl. I bet she will be as beautiful as her mother. Hermione smiled and held the baby. When I did, the beeping machine behind me started beeping more continuously. I looked over to Hermione and she smiled and said “I love you” and healers came in but they said it was too late.

I held her hand and kissed it. Tears fell from my eyes on onto her unmoving hand. “Don’t leave me” I pleaded. Beep! Beep! Beep! Came from behind me. I looked at her and her face started gaining color. “HEALER!” I yelled and they all came in and their jaws fell to the ground. Hermione was alive.

They took tests but still couldn’t figure out how she came back from the dead. I haven’t talked to her yet because they say she needs rest. But some good news is that our baby is healthy. I want to wait until Hermione awakens to choice a name. I sat by her bed and felt her squeeze my hand.

“Hey”, I said. She smiled that smile at me, like a beautiful angel.

“They brought me back” she said softly.

“Who?” I said curiously. Someone brought her back?

“Your parents, Dumbledore and Sirius, they didn’t want you to have to lose anyone else.” She said. “I don’t know how they did, but it happened” I kissed her hand.

“So, what should we name our baby girl?” I asked.

“Cecilia Jane Potter!” she said happily.

I grinned “It’s perfect”

(Back to Hermione)
Only few on our side died that night at least that’s what Harry says. No Weasleys died thankfully and nether Tonks or Remus. CeCe, Harry and I left the hospital a few days later. Everyone loves CeCe, she has Harry’s beautiful green eyes and my dark brown hair, I just pray that I won’t be bushy.I have everything I could ever want, friends, family and a perfect future. Harry and I have our own little family, Harry, Hermione and Cecilia, what more do I need?

Its not the last chapter! Fanks M.B! Im going to have a few more than I'm going to start on the next installment but i still have to come up with a name that has love in it! Party time in about an hour! Yeah, I kno I'm lucky but it's not my party but my friend Amanda's! Hope you all didn't cry too much!

Ok, the next post isn't my best work but i really wanted to post so here you go!

Chapter 9, My Thoughts

It’s such a surprise how much of a joy baby Cecilia has brought to our family. There is celebrations going on everywhere in the world, because of not only Voldermort’s death but the birth of the Boy Who Lived. Word also got out about how baby CeCe had saved both pf us from death. She doesn’t have a “name” yet so thank the heavens for that. I know that what I said about the Potters and Sirius saving me sounds crazy but its true. I can still remember their glowing, angel white faces speaking to me and helping me back to Earth. The Potters both hugged me and welcomed me into their family and Sirius waved me goodbye. I will never forget how much of an experience that was to interact with the dead.

Ok, back to the baby, who is the biggest news of all. She is defiantly a handful but then again what can you expect from a Potter? My mom and Mrs. Weasley had started staying with us and teaching us everything we needed to know about how to raise a child. Of course, they and both disagreed about certain things if they should be done the normal way or the magical way. I was so happy though.
Everything was better than normal. Harry and I have asked Ginny and Ron to be the godparents and they happily agreed. Even though the threat of Voldermort has disappeared, his followers are most angry then ever. The death of their leader has made them want to kill Harry more. I should fear for my life but I can’t whenever CeCe smiles at me and looks at me with her bright green eyes.

Of course, since the spell has been broken, I have all of my baby fat. I didn’t gain that much weight, but still! I have started working out and having to miss a few meals to take care of Cecilia has made me lose a few pounds. Life as we know it has been changed for the better. Who says Hermione Jane Potter can’t be super mom and have a career and social life? I say I can do everything. I still don’t know exactly how I’m going to teach at Hogwarts but I’m prepared to do everything I have to; to live out my dreams.

Chapter 10, Surprise, Guess Who’s Back?

In the earlier months of my pregnancy, I had been teaching my class in Hogwarts. I love the students but CeCe needs me for the first months of her life. Then I’ll be going back to work and Harry will start Auror training. CeCe would go to the Weasleys, who couldn’t be happier to have another baby around. I was sitting in Cecilia’s room, which was decorated like the stars and the moon. I’ve always had a facinatation for the moon and the stars. CeCe was sleeping like an angel, her chest gently moving up and down as she breathed. I heard Harry shout for me to come into the living room. I moved swiftly down the stairs and entered the room. Harry had a piece of parchment in his hand.

“What’s going on, Hun?” I asked him. He seemed annoyed about something.

“There’s a Order meeting in a few minutes. Something to do with Malfoy, so everybody is going to be here in a few minutes.” He replied.

“McGonagall just popped it out of no where but its obviously important”

“Ok” I said simply. Since when have we had surprised meetings? Of course, things have changed with Voldermort’s destruction. I checked on CeCe and started pacing until the Order members arrived, with an unwanted accomplice, Draco Malfoy.

“What is he doing here?! How could you bring him here?” Harry shouted the minute he recognized him.

“Harry, calm down!” McGonagall yelled. “Let the boy explain. He can help us as much as we can help him”

“Oh so are you going to do the same with as Dumbledore did with Snape? Trust that he isn’t double crossing us? Dumbledore died because he trusted too much! “ Harry yelled with tears forming in his eyes. The topic of Dumbledore made such a strong man so weak, it hurt me to see him in pain.

“Look, Potter do you think I liked growing up how I did? With people who didn’t care about me? We have that in common. I want to help you guys end the Deatheaters, so I won’t be forced to do evil things!” Draco said. Harry was going to say something but I stopped him.

“Just let him talk” I said reasonably.

“Why? Do you remember what he used to call you?”

“ People make mistakes but that’s what second chances are for! Malfoy, continue” I said.
He looked very surprised at me defending him.

“Thank you” he said quietly.


Sorry, had to leave you a cliffhanger! Next post is more about Draco Malfoy and his past!

Chapter 11, Befriending the Ex Death eater

Draco told his tale about how he had befriended a muggle at 4 and was beat and the muggle child was never seen again. He explained about how he was forced to be something he wasn’t, cruel and pure blood crazed. He was so desperate for love to he became a monster. He was made a death eater unwillingly.

“I would have never killed Dumbledore. I just couldn’t do something so awful.” Draco explained.

“I want to help the Order of the Phoenix, please give me a chance. I don’t want anymore people to die because of them.” He looked like he would have gone on his knees and
begged.

“I say we give him a chance. The deatheaters are unpredictable and we don’t know what they are trying to accomplice.” I began. “ Plus, they would never guess that we would try and spy on them again, especially after Dumbledore’s death.”

In the end, everybody agreed and Draco became a member. He smiled for what seemed like the first time in ages when I suggested he see Cecilia.

”If your going to be a part of this “family”, you have to know them all” I said. I led him up and up the long stairs, right into her room. CeCe was awake and kicking.

“Hey baby! How was your nap?” I said sweetly, picking her up gently. She smiled that beauty at Draco,her green eyes twinkling. He smiled right back. “Cecilia, this is Draco Malfoy, he’s an ex death eater and now an order member. Draco, this is CeCe”

Draco grinned and he shook her little hand. “She’s beautiful.” he said softly.

“I know, she got it from me!” I said and started toward the door.

“Hermione, I never knew behind the bookworm was a jokester” he said playfully.

“Well, you really don’t know me, at least not yet” I said and we went downstairs and I found that he was quiet good with kids. Him and Harry didn’t insult each other once. Life is changing and so are people. This war is not done, not until the death eaters go down.


OK! So there are only a few chapters left before my next installment! I hope you liked the post and Hermione befriending Draco! AND NO they will not "fall in love", that would make this story way too complicated.

Aw man! Dramione will forever be my main ship (I don't mind H/Hr tho, they're my second favourite really no wait, I'm thinkint H/G... H/Hr is my 3rd or 4th... I dunno, I still enjoy reading them as you can tell! Just not my top spot. Wait, definitely 4th cause I don't mind D/G but it has to be awesome cause I"m not a big fan of them, so I guess that's make H/Hr 3 and a HALF! ).
