Chapter 5,The End of an Era
The stress is beginning to decrease as I completed each N.E.W.T.s test. As I finished the last test, I felt a huge sense of relief. I did it! With knowing that school would be out shortly the only thought through my mind was: where did all the time go? I feel like yesterday was the first time I met Harry, Ron and the Weasleys and I had just started at Hogwarts, now I was with Harry (and pregnant with his child) and school is ending. Life passes by so fast that you don’t realize it.
Harry, Ron and I walked to our table and sat down. We all felt a huge sense of pride of finishing our tests. “I can’t believe schools almost over” I said sadly. “Yeah, me too. This place has so many memories” Harry said looking around with a grin on his face. “I’m going to miss this place” Ron said. “Yeah, even though I’ll be coming back as a teacher, it’s not the same as being a student” I said softly. We ate with memories racing throughout our minds.
Sadly to us and everyone else, the next week passed by so fast and it was graduation day. The day in which no ones life would be the same. We all had to make choices that would change our lives forever. It also states that we are crossing the bridge between childhood and adulthood. It scared a lot of people that know that after tomorrow on the last time we will be on that train that we have to change. Harry and I walked into the Great Hall and everything seemed to shine. Most of the guys were just wearing old dress robes but the girls were in beautiful gowns. I was simply in a dark red dress the sat on my shoulders and fell just before my knees. We sat down as everyone got a diploma from our Headmistress.”Granger, Hermione” I heard and as if it was the first time my name was called 7 years ago, I was super nervous. I walked up and was given my diploma.
There was a party, of course. Everyone seemed to be too sad to dance but I wasn’t. I wasn’t spending my last day at Hogwarts crying. I looked at Harry and smiled. “Harry, dance with me” I said in a commanding voice. “Hermione!” he moaned. He's so lazy! “Come on!” he smiled at me and we danced. Everyone seemed to disappear as we danced close. It was just me and him.

“Come on!” I said. “We have to get a good seat on our last ride!” “Ok, Miss Bossy!” “Its Mrs. Potter to you” I said slyly. All three of us put our stuff away and Harry whispered to Ron, who left. “Not yet…” Harry said and dropped to one knee.”Oh my god” I whispered in shock. “Hermione Jane Granger, love of my life, mother of my soon to be child, my best friend. Will you marry me?” he said and opened a red box which held a delicate diamond ring. “Yes!” I said loudly and I kissed him passionately. He kissed me back and put the ring on my finger. “I love you” “I love you”
Ron and Ginny were very happy for us. On the last ride of our childhood, I felt like I was finally an adult. I felt like my life was a dream, that I never wanted to wake up from.

Chapter 6,Panic! At The Disco
A few months went by and it’s the day of my wedding. Wow, never thought I’d say that so soon in my life. I had chosen Ginny to be my maid of honor and Ron was naturally Harry’s best man. I was waiting right outside of the church door with my father. My dress with a simply white with pearls on it and sat on my shoulders. My hair was in a bun but still had pieces of hair falling in my face. White lilies in my hands. I was so nervous but happy all at the same time.
The doors of the church opened slowly and the eyes of all in the church were set on me. Harry looked almost as scared as I was and he has somehow tamed his hair. Ron was in a classic black suit and Ginny was wearing a lavender dress. Finally, the wedding began and I lost myself in Harry’s eyes. “I am proud to present, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Potter!” was said.
Harry and I ran out together into our limo. Of course we had a party at G.P., there was a cake and everything but the thing I remember most is that I’m now a Potter.

The baby was going to be coming soon. Now that is something to be worried of. I was 8 ½ months pregnant and was having the strangest cravings. Though I don’t look fat, I feel fat. As soon as the baby comes out, the spell will be off and I will be huge. I didn’t throw up too much in the morning anymore, which was good. I was so happy though. Until panic stole my happiness.
“Hermione!” Harry shouted one late night.
“What?” I said before I heard the screaming and bangs. I sounded just like the Quiddich World Cup.
“You have to get to a safe place! Death eaters are attacking! Voldermort is here!” he shouted.
Order members were outside our door. I saw my husband leave and I didn’t know if I would ever see him again. I couldn’t leave him alone! I have a force field, I could help. I snatched up my wand from the dresser and put a robe on and ran out. I had never seen so much fighting ever. Smoke from the house next door was on fire and few people were dead. I looked up from the dead and saw Voldermort and Harry.
He saw me and shouted “Get back inside!” but I ignored him.
“Advada Kedavra!” I shouted my wand directly at Voldermort. He dogged it and shouted one at me. I dogged the first one but he did it again and I struck me right in the chest.
“No!” I heard Harry scream. Then everything went black.
I don't usually do cliffies but I decided to leave you hanging!I'm going to write the rest of the next post as soon as I can!

Chapter 7, Harry’s Chance
(This is in Harry’s P.O.V.!)
I didn’t realize what had happened until Hermione fell to the ground. All of the anger in me burst out at once. Voldermort had taken my parents, my godfather, my headmaster; he was not going to take my wife and child. “ADVADA KEDAVRA!” I yelled and it hit an unready Voldermort. He fell to the ground and everyone stopped fighting. Order members yelled in triumph but stopped when they saw Hermione, death eaters were silent and unbelieving.
I ran to Hermione and checked her pulse, it was faint but there was still one. I apprated to the hospital and sat beside her as they checked her. They couldn’t believe that she had survived the Killing Curse. Knowing she was pregnant, they said they had to save him/her.
“The thing is that Mrs. Potter is surviving based on your baby’s life force. If the baby is removed, Hermione will likely die. If the baby isn’t removed, they will die.” The healer told me. Either way someone will have to die. I was going to lose my wife or my baby.
“Harry,” Hermione said weakly. “Give our baby a chance of life. Even if I have to be sacrificed”
“No, I can’t let you die!” I said angrily.
“I got all I wanted in life. I have friends that love me and a husband who I can’t live without. I can’t let our baby miss out on a chance to live in the world and have a father like you” she said, smiling slightly.
I kissed her for what could be the last time and followed them into the operating room. | |
