Hermione came into work early to try and get a heads up on the place. Mrs. Larken smiled as she came in.
"Ready to get to work dear? Good, you're early! I'll show you around." Mrs. Larken put down the glass she was wiping. Hermione followed her around the small cafe. "Oh, Draco! You're here too! Splendid!"
Draco came out of the backdoor. "I just took out the early garbage, and I was about to open." He said. Mrs. Larken smiled widely.
"Such a good boy! Hermione, you speak Italian, yes?"
"Not alot....hardly any." Hermione admitted.
"Alright, Draco, you teach Hermione good Italian, si?"
"Yes ma'am." Draco nodded. Hermione breathed a sigh of relief. "When should I start?"
"Right now!" Mrs. Larken bustled then into the waiting room in the back. "Start now Draco! The sooner the better!"
Draco took Hermione into the room and sat her down on a chair. "Gee....I've never taught before....ok, I got it."
"Got what?" Hermione didn't need to ask. Draco kissed her. "Draco, what-"
"Hush, just listen." Draco murmered. Mi amore, mia Hermione, mi amore tu. Tu e' bella..."
"What are you saying? It sounds so lovely." Hermione blushed. Draco began kissing her neck, letting his hands wander on her body. Hermione's body began to shiver as the Italian language washed over her.
OK, I'm going to finish this tomorrow....I'm just too busy!

"Sorry to interrupt the lesson dearies...but the morning rush is really rushing. Draco, I need you to work the coffee machine. Hermione, please ring up the customers."
Draco got up and left at once. Hermione hung back, disappointed that it had to end so soon.

The cafe closed at 4:30pm. Hermione goraned as she walked home, Draco by her side.
"Ohhh....is it always that hectic?"
"Not normally. But today was payday for the workmen, so gambling is to be expected. I just thought the table would hold. Now we gotta buy a new one, and that's gonna set funds back big time."
Hermione giggled at the memory, but was sullen for the loss of the table. Draco looked over at her, a smirk on his face.
"Hermione, I have to ask you this."
"What is it Draco?" They had reached her and Ginny's flat.
"Why did you break up with me? We were having such a wonderful time..." Draco trailed off. He shook his head. "Never mind, it was a stupid question. Forget I asked."
"No, no Draco...wait." Hermione stopped him from going. "I was asking myself that as well. At first I didn't understand either, but...it was to please other people, rather than myself. I'm so used to it, I..."
Draco kissed her fully. Hermione brought her body up against his, and they were now the only two people in the world that mattered. Draco's hands plunged into her golden brown hair, as Hermione's arms circled his waist. Draco let go.
"Hermione...how about pleasing yourself for once, hm?"
"I...I don't think I can." Hermione whispered, and fled into the safety of the apartment. Draco watched her go with a twinge of regret, then left to go to his own home....back to Pansy, although every fiber in his body screamed to be with Hermione.
OK, I finished!

Hermione woke the next morning late, sleepy, and slightly grumpy. Ginny was waiting in the kitchen, a cup of coffee in front of her.
"Morning sleepy-head." Ginny mumbled into her coffee. "Gosh, but isn't it tiring in the morning? Good thing the shop's closed. How about you?"
"No work today. Mrs. Larken's ill." Hermione poured herself a cup and sat in the seat across Ginny.
"Good."
"Good? How so?"
"Good as in I have a suprise for you." The coffee was working. Ginny was more active, and started talking clearly. "I have found a date for you this evening."
"A date? Gin, I don't know-" Hermione started to protest, thinking of Draco. But then she stopped. They weren't dating, why not have some fun. "A double date?"
"You bet! You and me are going to liven up Italy the British way!" Ginny was more awake now, fluttering back and forth in the kitchen. "I'll help you pick out the perfect outfit!"
Ginny dragged Hermione into her room, Hermione sloshing coffee everywhere. Hermione was flung onto the bed while Ginny went through her wardrobe.
"Oh Hermione...if only I had your figure...you'd be a knock-out in....nah, you'll look like a virgin...."
"Ginny, I am a virgin!" Hermione finally said, exasperated. Ginny rolled her eyes.
"But we don't want the guy to know that! Here, try this on." Ginny tossed a purple low-cut shirt to Hermione. Hermione pulled it on, grumbling. "Oh stop it. Here, this will compliment it perfectly." Hermione slipped on the dark denim skirt and zipped it up.
"Ginny...I don't have shoes to go with this, remember?" Hermione told her. Ginny sighed.
"Alright...take it off Hermione. Geez, you always complain...ok, put these on." Hermione put on her sparkly jeans. "And throw this on your feet." Ginny handed Hermione a pair of purple cowboy boots.
"Gin, where did you get these? They're awesome!" Hermione exclaimed as she pulled them on.
"I know a guy. Now, time for your hair!" Ginny made Hermione take off those clothes and put on normal ones. She pulled Hermione out the door.
"Where are we going?" Hermione tried to walk normally.
"The hair salon! You're going in style!" Ginny crowed, and Hermione closed her eyes briefly. This was going to be a long day.

Draco sat up in bed, puffing on a cigarette. Next to him, Pansy was stirring. She sat up, and yawned. Draco gave her an amused look.
"I honestly thought you wouldn't wake up after last night." Pansy smiled.
"Well, no help from you! You were an animal last night baby! Roar!" She kissed him. Draco put out his cigarette. "Draco, why do you smoke those?"
"They help me relax." Draco's thoughts weren't on Pansy, no matter how good she was in bed. And she was. Draco was thinking about Hermione, as usual.
"Draco, let's go someplace tonight." Pansy said suddenly, jerking Draco out of his thoughts.
"Like where?" Draco let the words slip out before he could catch them. If he made her happy, he might get some tonight.
"There's this bar in town that serves pretty good food, and the bar's really clean. Let's go." Pansy climbed out of bed, groping for her clothes. Draco sighed.
"Here we go." He muttered under his breath.

Hermione and Ginny were ready by 5pm. Hermione was adjusting Ginny's strap. There came a knock on the door.
"Hermione, get that. It's them!" Ginny grabbed her purse and slung it over her shoulder. Hermione opened the door.
"Oh my."
That was all she could say. In front of her were the epitime of the perfect Italian. Brown hair...brown eyes. One had blue. Cute. Tall, thin, but muscular. Both wearing casual clothes, but you could tell they wanted to look nice. Hermione's jaw was practically on the floor. Blue Eyes spoke to her.
"Um, are you Hermione?"
"Yes she is! Come in Mark. Is Tomas with you?" Ginny called from the other room.
"Si. Are we ready?" Tomas came in, and met Ginny half way. She grabbed his arm and smiled.
"Well?" They were staring at Mark and Hermione. Gingerly, she smiled. Mark grinned. Oh, that smile! It made Hermione's knees weak. She took his arm for support, and they departed.

Draco was waiting for Pansy....again. He wondered what Hermione was doing on her day off. He looked at his watch. About 5pm.
"Pansy! We've got to get going!"
"Coming baby!" God, her voice was piercing. She came down the stairs, applying lipstick as she went. A dark red shirt clung tightly to every curve, and the black skirt looked barely legal. She looked sexy and appalling all at the same time. "Ready?"
"Let's go." Draco opened the door for her, and they left. As they walked, Draco saw a pair of couples ahead of them. And one looked...familiar, but he couldn't place her. He watched them go into the bar they were headed. Well, he'd find out soon, wouldn't he?
Whew! That was long! But I didn't want to leave anything hanging.
