Hi im Jen! This is my first go in the poetry Vault so tell me what you think!

I also have two Fan Fics, so feel free to check them out if you have time or if oyu wanna. They're both in the romance section and they anre called Echos and Troubled.

This first poem is about the idea of what lurks behind the curtain that Sirius fell though. I hope you like it.

Through the Curtain

Through the curtain,
Where nothing belongs
where smoke swirls and swishes
Singing ghostly lit songs

They’re greedy, they’re wanting
They’re long lives are watered
They wait for the innocent
And prey on the tortured

But you must be strong,
And keep your mind set
It keeps me awake and I scream and I shout
And I wake in the night when I’m covered in sweat

From the torture I know that they’re putting you through
But you have to be strong
It’s all down to you

You fell though the curtain and into their trap
I still want to blame you
For crossing the gap

But even in death I see your eyes,
Sparkling and shining and happy with pride
But you fell though the curtain...
And threw me aside..

I dont care what you are
I dont care what you do
Ive always known one thing
And that's i love you

You tear and you rip
And you gash at your soal
I'd rather give mine
To help you, thats all

Because if theres no you
Theres no me to survive
I'd rather be dead with you
Than without you, alive

Just never stop loving me
And Ill never leave
And we'll crash together

You fell.
You fell, and you left me,
To conqure this height
But i cannot do it
Its not out of fright

Its just im too young
And I cannot see
How the Dark Lord could be discouraged
Or frightened by me

And now im alone
to do this great task
the unanswered questions
leave me aghast

For you could have told me
Helped me, let me in
I feel unprepared
It hasnt sunk in

You say i must die
But how do i go
Knowing who im leaving
It wont happen, no

Please stop to help me
