Ok well... I'm kinda bored (yeah, I'm on the 5th chapter of my other story, but I'm bored).
And TECHNICALLY it's tomorrow... (here it is at least, it's 1:10am).
So yeah, I'M POSTING! Next post=next chapter (I need to find something to occupy my time... 0_o)

Chapter 12
Outcomes of a Ring

Hermione’s mouth dropped, and she gasped. She couldn’t believe what Draco just asked. He opened the box, but she didn’t see the ring inside. She fell to the ground in front of him, eyes watering again.
“Yes!”
She hugged him, and they kneeled their in that way for nearly five minutes. Hermione was so happy now, she didn’t even think about how Ron would react to this. Draco pulled away, took out the flawless diamond ring, took Hermione’s right hand gently and slipped it onto her ring finger. Before he let go of her hand, he kissed it.

At dinner that night, all the core members from the Order showed up. Lupin, Tonks, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Ginny, Ron, Fred and George (taking time away from Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes), Mad-Eye Moody, Bill Weasley (Fleur came along with him, much to Ginny’s dismay), Kingsley Shacklebolt, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco of course, Neville Longbottom, who joined officially just before the Final Battle, and Mundungus Fletcher tagged along as well. Dezi ate upstairs in her room, since she never liked being in such a large group. The dinner went along smoothly, Hermione nor Draco said nothing about their engagement.
“Oi, ‘ermione, wut’s that ye got on ye fist?” Mundungus asked, noticing the flawless diamond on Hermione’s finger as she ate.
Draco looked at Hermione out of the corner of his eye, both with mischievous and mysterious grins. Hermione held her right hand up, revealing the ring to everyone around the table. They all gasped at the sight of the flawless, shining diamond.
When Harry saw this, his face darkened. Ginny had to kick him hard in the calf as a reminder that she was sitting right next to him. Ron couldn’t have looked any angrier in his life. Molly had to shoot her son a warning glare, yet he still didn’t care, Ron hated Malfoy more than ever now.
“Who’s the lucky man, dearie?” Molly asked. She still didn’t know about Hermione and Draco. She actually didn’t even know about Dezi, no one ever told Mrs. Weasley anything about the relationship in any way, including children of course.
“Yeah, who’s your man, Hermione?” Ron asked in a cold, mocking way.
“Ronald Bilius Weasley!” Molly nearly shrieked. “How dare you speak to your friend that!”
Draco resisted laughing by chuckling. He never knew Ron’s middle name, and now he knew why.
Before Mrs. Weasley could ask again, Hermione responded.
“It’s Draco,” Hermione responded. She saw Neville attempt to keep his mouth from dropping. Hermione understood him completely though, Draco was always the one going after Neville for his inabilities in certain magical areas, and his clumsiness. Tonks looked like she was hit by a rogue bludger right in the stomach, she looked even worse than Neville, since Draco is her cousin (despite how she hates to admit it, they loathe each other still), Lupin was the one that had to remind her, silently, to at least look happy for the two. Everyone else seemed to try and look like they were happy, but Hermione knew they could’ve been happier, they all never really liked Draco.
Draco found everyone’s reaction rather amusing, but he kept a straight face without any problems. The rest of the dinner, everyone chatted quietly amongst those near to them, but other than that, it was really quiet. It seemed the ‘news’ surprised, and probably disturbed, many people.
(outta story: part after this is dedicated to everyone that suggested it, which is like... everyone! Added it on recently, love it, love it )
The table cleared after everyone finished, and the people milled out. All the visitors of the Headquarters seemed to leave automatically after saying goodbye, leaving the house to Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco and Ginny who was staying the night.
“Oh, cut it Ron!” Ginny snapped when she saw the glare her brother was giving Draco as they all stood in the main hallway. Ron’s glare dropped immediately, looking normal for a moment.
“What?” he asked in an innocent way.
Ginny scowled. She pulled away from the arm around her waist, Harry’s, and stormed upstairs. Rolling his eyes at the drama, Harry followed a few moments later. Ron didn’t move, his eyes were glued to the floor.
“Get a life, Ronald,” Hermione snapped as she followed behind Harry a few moments after he left. Draco and Ron were the only ones in the main hallway now.
“Put her under it, didn’t you?” Ron asked as soon as he didn’t hear any footsteps. Draco raised an eyebrow. “So your days of putting people under the Imperius have improved, I assume,” Ron added with a smug look.
“And your days of witty comebacks have drawn to a close awhile back, I assume,” Draco shot back at Ron in a calm way, smirking. His fingers toyed with the wand in his pocket.
“You’ll just never be happy until we’re gone, out of the way, aren’t you, Malfoy? Just taking a little bit more from our lives.”
“Our?” Draco asked mockingly. “You more likely. Potter is actually smart for once, because he knows acceptance.”
“Acceptance or force, Malfoy?” Draco noticed Ron’s hand had slipped into the pocket of his clothes. A split second later, in synchronization, Ron and Draco’s wands were drawn at one another.
“Potter accepted. I can force you easily though,” Draco retorted, wand aimed at Ron’s chest threateningly.
“I’d love to see you try,” Ron scoffed. His wand matched Draco’s.
“Coming from one that couldn’t magically produce fire, that isn’t much of a threat,” Draco sneered.
“Sectum...”
Before Ron could even finish the hex the Half-Blood Prince had invented, he was thrown back a few feet in the hallway. His hand dropped his wand, and went to his face, which was breaking out in boils.
“You’re acting just as ugly as you look, Weasley,” Draco sneered as he walked by Ron, putting his wand away and going upstairs.

Ok, I redid the last few chapters and OMG, I never cry during my own F.Fs, but I changed the ending a bit and it's just...
It'll surprise everyone, let's just put it at that. Mainly cause when I wrote it, it was like... well, I'll tell ya when it's posted.
Since I kinda feel like posting quickly cause I love the ending in a sad way, when I get back on after sleeping, I'll PROBABLY post the next chapter. Probably kinda fast but it seems everyone here likes fast

I have a lot of time on my hands... And I type really fast, and that always helps I find I prefer typing over handwriting things... and it takes longer to put handwritten stuff onto the computer cause you'd be copying everything you did previously and yeah...

Ok, this is like, the shortest chapter of all time of mine... but just cause it's short it doesn't mean I'm gonna post chapter 14! To many chapters within 2 days if I did...
I was having a creative writing block at the time of writing this, so this is THE shortest chapter ever... might not even need it really... No wait, I do... considering a chapter a fair ways after this one kinda mentions what this is about.
So yeah, here'ye go!

Chapter 13
Tea Time

“So, what are you going to do about the offer of Potions teacher?” Ginny asked Hermione casually over their tea time a few weeks after the announcement of Hermione’s engagement.
“I... really don’t know, Gin,” Hermione responded honestly. With everything happening lately, she had no idea what to do anymore. For a long time now, she’d wanted to get a legitimate job, like working at the Ministry in one of the departments if she had to, but she really wanted to be a teacher at Hogwarts, or one of the other schools if she had the choice.
“Well you’re going to have to decide soon, it’s already early August, and school starts up in two weeks...”
“I know!” Hermione exclaimed in frustration. Ginny looked surprised and taken aback for a moment, but then dropped the subject and expression a moment later.
“So have you decided to start making any wedding plans?” Ginny asked in a similar casual tone.
“No place or anything yet if that’s what you mean,” Hermione responded in a blunt way. “Just been thinking of bridesmaids and who would be the maid of honour...”
Ginny tried to look indifferent, but Hermione knew she was hopeful.
“So who do you have so far?” Ginny asked as she took a sip of tea.
“So far... I was thinking of owling Parvati and Lavender...”
“Aren’t you supposed to have 3 bridesmaids, traditionally?” Ginny pointed out. The hint was so obvious, Hermione resisted the urge to burst out laughing.
“Well one of them has to be Maid of Honour, but if you don’t want to be...”
“No!” Ginny squeaked. “I’d be an honour!”
Hermione smiled as she finished her tea.
“So I was beginning to think about dresses for bridesmaid and our maid of honour...”

OMG, third time reading the last three chapters and I'm crying!
I'm just gonna say right now, if someone says they didn't cry when they read the ending, I'll be utterly, completely, and totally shocked. -covers mouth and bites lips together-

Well, I'm just gonna say that Dezi doesn't really talk to Draco (like, it's not shown but its implied), but she is a help in the end -bites tongue before the whole ending to the F.F happens to slip out along with even more hints-
OMG, I got this PM from one of the mods saying they weren't sure if they should validate 'my' F.F cause it was about teen pregnancy and if I could change the plot and stuff, and I was like, 'what... how did the triwizard tournament turn into THAT?', then I though, 'Wait, if Hermione looking back on her pregnancy with Dezi is a problem... how is it such a big deal?'
I saw two mesages, so I hoped that it was saying 'sorry, wrong person', and guess what, IT WAS! Apparently it was a mix-up...
Got me worried I'd be having to change this whole thing for at least an hour!
Yeah, I'm gonna post in a few mins now, so yeah...

Ok, this chapter is KINDA short, but I kinda like it. Not a lot of dialogue, but when it comes in... well you'll see. I'm considering posting in like, 5 hours, cause it's debatable on my part, cause it's also another 'kinda short' chapter (about this length), and it's another cliffie-ish thing To many cliffies in a day and yeah.

Chapter 14
Draco’s Disappearance

Every day, Hermione got more and more enthusiastic about the wedding. She had it all planned now, it was going to be a few days after her birthday, on September 24th (out of story, I love the 24th of September... mainly cause it’s my birthday, but still ), in a garden that had the dying, fall-looking leaves year around. They never fell, but they were always a beautiful golden yellow, red, some with a tinge of green still in them, all in large, tall trees.
It was now the 22nd, and Hermione just got back from shopping for a dress with Dezi, for her, for when she was going to be flower girl the day before. Her dress was different from the bridesmaids (she managed to get Parvati and Lavender to be bridesmaids), it was a very pale pink, almost impossible to tell it was really pink, but it didn’t look exactly white either. It had a lace bottom, and the trim was silk.
Hermione woke up tired, she spent nearly all day debating with Dezi the day before about the dress, causing a day-long shopping trip, all inside Madam Malkins, and of course they had to stop at Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes after finishing. She was looking forward to a day with her feet up, book at hand.
She wandered down the stairs, still in her pajamas, and into the kitchen. She had breakfast, and she ran upstairs to get her book, and ran back down. She spent a full four hours reading, managing to finish the book she had within that amount of time. Draco still hadn’t come down the stairs.
She had lunch, found another book and read for another five hours, finishing the book at the end of it. Draco still hadn’t come down. Dezi had come downstairs once, but she was taught, and learned quick, that when Hermione was reading a book, she should go to Harry, or Draco.
Sighing at the end of five hours, Hermione went back up the stairs and found yet another book. She finished half of it by the time it was dinner, and she knew something was wrong. Draco hadn’t shown up all day, and he never said anything about going anywhere. She went to the dinner table alone, eating slowly. Halfway through her food, which at the time was already half an hour, Harry, Ron, and Ginny even showed up, joined her. They all ate in silence.
“Something’s wrong here...” Ginny commented. “Hermione, what’s up?”
She looked up and chuckled.
“Just because I’m quiet it means something’s wrong?”
“Well it wouldn’t be the first,” Ron sneered as he shoved a forkful of fried chicken in his mouth. Hermione ignored the comment.
“Yeah, where’s Malfoy?” Ginny realized.
“Actually Gin, I have no idea,” Hermione responded truthfully. “I haven’t seen him all day. His bedroom door is shut, but I opened it an hour ago and he wasn’t there, just his window was wide open.”
“And he never said anything about going out?” Harry asked curiously. He honestly didn’t care one bit about where Malfoy went, but even he knew it was out of the ordinary for Malfoy to leave without notice.
“Nothing.”
“Something’s wrong all right, but it isn’t you...”
Hermione grinned as she swallowed a bit of her food. Not even a moment later, an owl flew into the kitchen and skidded down the table. It stopped in front of Harry and stuck his leg out at him. Eyebrow raised, Harry untied the letter from the owl’s foot and quickly read it to himself.
“What’s that?” Ginny asked.
“The Ministry,” Harry responded simply. He didn’t move, only his eyes went back and forth along the sheet of paper.
“What’ve they got to say?”
“They’ve found something they want me to investigate... now.”
“Did they say what?”
“They believe the surviving Death Eaters have formed an alliance, and word reached them they have a captive, and they want me to go.”
“And they remarkably ask you but say nothing to me?” Ron exclaimed, annoyed that he, also being an Auror with Harry, hadn’t been sent a letter.
“Who’s the captive?” Hermione asked curiously.
“They don’t know.”

ah, yes, since you decided to say who it was, I'll admit it IS Draco...
Kinda ruined the 'cliffie' about two chapters away, but I guess that means two posts when that one comes up (1-2 days most likely ).
Least the next chapter isn't about Draco...
Oh, and... he'll be... safe... *cackles evilly and walks away from thread*
