I might add another chapter into the story cause it's just... so... bland...
Once you read this chapter and realize I'm saying I'm gonna skip to April (then summer), you'll see.
So it might take some time until chapter 14 comes up cause I just need to have something else, and after I wrote something in chapter... chapter 17, it gave me the idea to make THAT (what I said) into a whole chapter And that's what I'm gonna do.

And I forgot, there's 2 parts (this chapter is two parts), so it won't be super long for another post, but I wanna post NOW cause I'm BORED! REALLLLY BORED!
So ya... the end of part 1 leads up to... well the end of the actual chapter!

Chapter 13
Meeting at the Lake

The rest of Christmas break flew by, and Sirius actually seemed to be enjoying his stay at Grimmauld Place. Of course he had an encounter with the painting of his mother... unfortunately she recognized him and that made it all the worse.
Dezi talked with Tonks about being a Metamorphmagus. Tonks actually got Dezi to change her face shape after some struggle, and after that she was able to go full-on morphing into other people. It was like having a personal Polyjuice Potion without the pain of morphing and keeping it up.

Two weeks later, Dezi was packing her trunk, ready to go back to Hogwarts. For once in a long while, she actually didn’t want to leave because she wanted to stay at home (and not want to leave because of being tortured at school). Finishing, she left her room and started to head for the stairs. As she neared the stairs, she tripped over something on the ground. Shaking her head so the hair would get out of her face, she saw an outstretched hand. Grabbing it, she was pulled up to her feet by Sirius.
“Thanks.”
He merely smiled in response. Walking down the stairs, his trunk bumped into a couple of the stairs. Raising an eyebrow momentarily, Dezi followed a bit behind. In silence, Ginny drove her and Sirius to Kings Cross Station and they boarded the Hogwarts Express. They boarded with Darren and Chloe, and the whole ride back to Hogwarts Dezi read Hogwarts: A History for the sixth time (o.o.s: who does that sound like? ).
The awkward silence between Sirius and Dezi only seemed to grow as they entered Hogwarts and went to the common room with their things. Sirius seemed a lot quieter around her since Dezi revealed she knew the truth about him. She was starting to wonder if it was a mistake that she brought him to Grimmauld Place in the first place.
Dezi unpacked her things in her dorm quickly. She realized on the train she had buried her favourite novel she was given when she was 12 from Harry. When she finally found it and opened it, a piece of parchment slid out of the book.
Curious, Dezi bent down and picked it up. Out of all the times she had read the book, she had never noticed it. Wouldn’t it be too obvious to hide?

This used to be me favourite novel, so I am passing it on to you. Who knows, you might someday enjoy it.
The days are drawing closer to the wedding, and I have a feeling something horrible is going to happen. I don’t know what, I don’t know when, but something will happen, I can feel it.
I gave this to Harry for safekeeping on the day of the wedding, just in case something does happen. Hopefully I will be the one to give this book, the only book (next to Hogwarts: A History of course) I used to hold so dear, to you, but things may happen. Bad things from horrible people, I only hope that I will live to see a new life, a new life with your father. I’ve been hopeful a lot recently, ever since the Curse had been lifted from him, things have gone well, no one has chased him or me down. But that also leaves a bit of fear in the pit of my heart; it has been too long since someone has tried to force me away from Draco and maybe you as well.
So enjoy this book I have left for you. I hope it will bring you as much joy as it has me.

Dezi was very confused for a moment. She felt the threatening prick of tears at her eyes, but nothing came out. She held the letter and went back to the book, looking for some sort of explanation. Another slip of parchment seemed to fall from the book. Before it hit the ground, Dezi caught it. She unfolded it and saw a few scrawled sentences.
I’m so sorry I never gave the letter from Hermione to you.
As Dezi’s fist curled, the parchment scrunched into a ball. Why hadn’t Harry given her the letter before now? Why did he leave it? She threw it at her pillow with all the force she could muster, but Dezi regretted it as soon as she did. A hard shot of pain hit Dezi’s shoulder as soon as her hand let the paper go. She tried moving it, but that only seemed to make it worse.
Rolling her eyes, Dezi picked up the book with her opposite hand and left the dormitory before her roommates decided to show up. She sat on an open couch and read her book for the rest of the day, managing to finish it right before she fell asleep on the red velvet couch. She pushed herself off the couch and saw a piece of parchment on the table. Curious, she looked at what it said.
Dezi,
You looked busy so I didn’t want to bother your reading.
Meet me by the lake at 9:30.

She smirked when she saw ‘Si’ scribbled out before ‘Shane’. Looking at her watch, Dezi noticed it was already 9:10(pm). Grabbing the note, Dezi ran back up to her room. Tossing her book into a drawer, she then put on a Slytherin green hoodie overtop of her t-shirt. Seeing no need to change pants, since she was already in jeans and it wasn’t that cold yet, she looked into her mirror. Dezi then started having fun messing around with her hair. She changed it from its normal (tame, compared to Hermione's it was practically straight) loose curls/waves and length of about 6 inches below her shoulder to perfectly straight black. She laughed at how ridiculous it looked and changed the shape and angles of her face to match it.
“Uh... hello, who’re you?”
Dezi turned to the door and saw one of her roommates, Leah. Changing her hair and face back to normal, she saw the shocked expression of her roommate.
“What the hell is wrong with you?” Leah gasped.
“It’s called ‘Metamorphmagus’, Lee,” Dezi responded sharply. “If you have any problems with the rare gift, take it to someone that cares.”
Dezi pushed past Leah and ran down the stairs and walked through the common room. She ran down the stairs to the entrance hall and then out of the castle, having to pull her hood over her head. A full moon illuminated the light layer of white on the ground, and bounced off the lake. She swore she heard the howls of werewolves in the distance.

Ooooohhhh...Wherewolves...what does that mean????? Keep up the great writing!!! I LOVE the story!!!!!! oh...and by the way...I have to dissagree with you...Eragon is hotter!!!

Nothing to the werewolves really... well nothing important (it's not meant to be some sort of cliffie ). It's just there cause that's what she heard 'in the distance'.

I wonder what Sirius wants with her. That was really good. What is with Harry? Not giving Dezi something that Hermione wanted her to have. lol lol She's read Hogwart, A History like six times, she is sooo like her mother. Hehe

Well I was describing something in the dream because it wasn't stated before (it's hard not to give it away yet describe! ), but reading the description I found it'd make a great chapter, cause I kinda jumped through a few months of nothing (chapter 14 was originally a jump from January to April, then it went from April to late June... I had to have something between Jan. and April)
It's a long dream (the one I got an idea for chapter 14 of)... 2nd longest I think, I dunno -goes to do a Word Count of each- Excluding the meet Dezi had with her parents at the Mirror of Erised, that's impossible to beat!
So... ya, the dream that budded the idea for a different chapter 14 is the longest!
Even exluding the song I put in it!

As she neared a part of the shoreline, she saw Sirius sitting on a log a few feet in front of the lake, sitting slightly bent over with his arms resting on his legs. Watching at a distance, he still seemed tranquil, compared to what Dezi was used to that is.
“Hello,” she said, smiling slightly. Sirius looked over his shoulder and returned her smile and moved over on the log, giving an extra space for her to sit down. Taking advantage of the offer, she sat down.
“So... how are you?” Dezi asked, looking out over the lake as well.
“Fine,” Sirius responded, shrugging. A short silence sat between the two of them.
“So...” Dezi asked slowly, unsure of what else to ask.
He turned his attention to her after a few moments.
“I just want to say thanks for inviting me to... well you place really, for Christmas.”
“Well... your welcome I guess...” Dezi responded slowly.
“That was honestly the best Christmas I’ve ever had in my life,” he said.
“Really? I mean, I heard you moved in with gra...” Dezi stopped herself, realizing she just about said ‘grandpa’, since that’s how she referred to Harry’s dad. “James, in the summer...”
“Yeah, summer of going into this year. If I wasn’t here right now, I might be at the Potter Manor, but...” his voice trailed off, swallowed up in the black of the night as he turned his attention back to the lake.
“But... what?” Dezi asked after a few moments of silence.
“I’d rather be here,” he practically whispered; Dezi had to think about what he just said because she barely caught it herself.
“This hell-hole?” Dezi asked, slightly surprised. Sirius then turned and looked at her.
“As long as you’re around people you love, you don’t really take notice in the hell going on around you,” he responded. Dezi was surprised at how wise his response sounded.
“But... what about your other friends; James, Lupin, Lily, Pettigrew...”
“Well I technically got to see one of those four,” Sirius responded, smirking slightly. “So there’s no way in knowing where the others are right now...?”
“I’m not sure if I can say really... bad things happen to wizards that meddle with time.”
“What about me, though? Can’t I at least know where I’m at... what age I’m supposed to be at this day and time...”
“What don’t you want to know?” Dezi asked playfully.
Sirius laughed, his grey eyes sparkling in the moonlight. “Now that I think about that...”
“Not another list!” Dezi said dramatically.
“Well I was about to say I don’t want to know when I have to leave, but...”
“You don’t want to leave?” Dezi asked curiously. “Don’t you miss your time?”
“The time where my brother haunts me and I get in even more trouble?”
“What about friends?” she cut in.
“The one friend I have right now I rather enjoy being with,” Sirius responded simply, smiling faintly. Dezi looked at him curiously, surprised more than anything.
“Really?” she whispered. Sirius nodded, refusing her gaze for that moment.
And then another awkward silence engulfed them. Dezi started noticing more stars popping up in the shadows of the sky.
“There’s something else...” Sirius said finally, causing Dezi’s attention to turn back to him.
“What?” she asked. He turned his gaze to her. In that moment, the shining white of the moon appeared and he kissed her.

AWWW!! They kissed! lol I just loved the update...so wonderful...lol.

ya, I got stuck on the line "That was the best Christmas I've ever had..." and yadayada, for like... 1 and a half months! That's what I continually complained about for the longest time, that one section of the chapter
It was crazy! I jumped to April after that, but then after writing chapter 17 and getting into detail about explaining something, I got an idea for chapter 14 that I'm writing now... (once I'm finished it, it'll be posted here )

Sarah i was behind but now i'm all caught up and now i want more sorry i wasn't here got a little busy and it was hard to come by here but now i'm here and can't wait to read the next part..... mucho love.

Very similar to the book The Wish List tho now that I think about it... never actually read the book but I read the back and my idea is similar but not exactly the same...

So... if I did have a sequel, would any of you guys read it or would you just let it pass by?

Dang, why didn't I say what my sequel idea was? I totally forgot what the idea was now... and it was awesome!!

Oh ya! Now I remember what it was planned as! (just read the three words 'The Wish List' and remembered).
Anyways, it'll be somewhat similar to The Wish List (not that I've read it... yet)... but ya, not exactly the same. And it might not even be the same idea in the end... I changed this one around a bit (first time around Dezi had friends, fairly popular and Sirius would only be around for a few weeks to a few months. No fun in that, it's always fun to work with the nearly-depressed ones )

Anyways, so far my idea is (I'm writing the so-far summary off the top of my head so if it stinks... well my improv stinks (you know how hard it is in Drama class cause of that?) so that just sums it up right there...)

It's only been three years and Dezi's life has finally turned around; she's got a job at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes (what'dya expect? ) that she enjoys, friends she can rely on and a home.
But things can change... drastically.
There's a threat in the Wizarding World once more; Voldemort and the Death Eaters (oos: this is kinda random but that's such an awesome name for a band!!!) might be dead, but what about their children and their childrens children (son/daughter of original D.E to grandson/granddaughter)? They become the new Death Eaters, torturing the wizarding world, destroying the lives of those around them.[/backstory]

Someone has found out where the new Death Eaters are hiding, the (as I say infamous) Malfoy Manor. Dezi and the Order of the Phoenix find themselves trampling their way to the manor and in for, yet another, final battle.
Among the dead is Dezi.
She finds herself in Limbo, a place she has visited few times before (oos: I say in the last chapter that technically Dezi visited her parents in 'Limbo', the dark place with the white fog when those of the afterlife wish to meet with the living), except it's not dark, it's not foggy and certainly not spooky. There are many of the afterlife actually, hanging around like normal people.
She is pulled into a meeting with Merlin and the Darkness (that's what I'll refer to the devil as). They found that, weighing the goods and bads in her life, Dezi has an even amount.

I'm still trying to figure out everything after that (two decisions and I haven't made up my mind).
But ya, when I do figure it out, I'll post the rest of the info as short as possible Til then...

Chapter 14
Hogsmeade with Sirius

January rolled into February, and over the next few days, Dezi and Sirius became much closer. People first thought ‘Shane’ was crazy, but to Dezi’s surprise (mostly), their peers began to accept it after about a week. She even began making friends; when she wasn’t with Sirius she was with her two new closest (Gryffindor) friends, Cailyn and Kasey. She was finally beginning to enjoy life, her anger for her parents washed away quickly enough.
Coming from Astronomy class, last class of the week, Dezi met up with Cailyn in the common room. Not even a moment later, Kasey passed through the portrait hole.
“You’re... how fast...” Kasey panted.
“Do I walk?” Dezi finished, chuckling. “That’s usually my to-the-common-room walking speed.”
“Oh, Lord... how that’s... physically possible... is... is...”
Cailyn and Dezi laughed. Kasey noticed something in Cailyn’s hand; a parchment.
“What... what’s that?” she asked, finally able to catch her breath.
“This?” Cailyn asked, holding up the parchment. “I pulled it off the bulletin to read it. There’s a Hogsmeade trip tomorrow.”
“And you took it off to read it while it was up on the bulletin giving news...” Kasey pointed out slowly.
“I need reading glasses or something... and I know it.”
“So that’s why when you’re doing work your face is barely a centimeter away from the parchment?” Dezi asked with a smirk. “You’d think you know what you’re writing...”
Kasey giggled and Cailyn huffed. She couldn’t think of a response, so Dezi just grinned triumphantly. Cailyn pinned the parchment back on the bulletin board.
“So... are you going with anyone in specific?” Cailyn asked Dezi with a mischievous smile.
“Well that just got pinned up, so how should I know if I just found out?” Dezi pointed out with a smirk.
The door swung open and what seemed to be half of Gryffindor flowed into the common room. Simultaneously, the students stopped in front of the bulletin and chattered as they read the news about Hogsmeade. Dezi attempted to push her way out of the group; someone helped pull her out. When she got out, she saw Sirius.
“So what’s the group all about?” he asked.
“Hogsmeade trip tomorrow. Are you going or did you get in trouble... again?” Dezi responded, punching the word ‘again’ with a flat tone.
“I’m insulted you’d think such a thing!” Sirius said in a mock-offended way. “Here’s me about to ask if you wanted to go to Hogsmeade with me, but since I’m ‘in trouble’...”
Dezi laughed. “I would’ve said yes, but since you don’t want to ask there’s technically nothing to answer so...”
“Would you like to go to Hogsmeade with me?” Sirius cut her off with an arrogant smirk. She mirrored the smirk and responded, “Yeah.”

“Hey guys, guess what day it is!” Kasey exclaimed excitedly behind Dezi and Sirius as they left Honeydukes. She was surprised she could tail them for so long without being noticed.
Dezi practically jumped 10 feet in the air and screamed. Sirius’s flinch of surprise turned to a jump off to the side (narrowly missing the tall, fluffy snow bank next to the path) from Dezi’s scream. Kasey and Cailyn (who was with Kasey at the same time) burst out laughing.
“That would’ve been a perfect time to try out your camera, Cay!” Kasey said with a smug expression as they started walking with their other friend.
“New camera?” Dezi asked curiously.
“Ya, mum sent me a camera for some reason... but I haven’t had time to try it out yet,” Cailyn responded, shrugging.
“So you just got a parcel with a camera and no explanation?” Sirius asked.
“Pretty much,” Cailyn responded, shrugging once more.
“So if you didn’t get an explanation how d’ya know it’s from your mom?” he pointed out.
“Ok, Mr. Contrary, I got a note saying it was ‘to yadayada love mom’ type of thing, that’s it,” Cailyn huffed.
“You’re name isn’t ‘yadayada’,” Dezi pointed out with a smirk. She dropped the smirk after a moment and her expression changed to (realistic) dramatic realization. “Or is it...?”
“See, I’m not that 'contrary',” Sirius drawled with a sarcastic tone and a cheeky grin. Dezi gaped and stopped (causing the other three to stop automatically as well), mock insulted.
“Me?” she gasped dramatically.
“Ya, you,” he responded with the same cheeky tone. She pushed him towards the snow bank next to the path, and sure enough he fell. On the way down, he grabbed the sleeve of her coat, laughing. She screamed and came down with him.
“Cailyn, camera test time!” Kasey whispered.
Dezi couldn’t push herself up and out of the snow; it was too deep. Squealing at the cold hitting her face as she rolled over, she managed to get up. Seeing Sirius dust the snow off his coat, she jumped on him to tackle him to the ground for payback. She heard the faint click of Cailyn’s camera as Sirius tried to get her off in a fairly sad attempt; spinning. She started laughing; Dezi was oblivious to the reasoning of why she actually was in a piggy-back position on Sirius as he spun in circles, joining in on her laughter.
After a short while, Dezi tried jumping off (despite the dizziness that throbbed in her head), but managed to slide down Sirius’s back and onto the hard packed snow, managing to get the wind knocked out of her. Cailyn and Kasey (beating Sirius to the job) pulled her up and they continued on as if nothing had happened.

AWWWW CUTE!!!! I liked it a lot!!! Pams!!!
