no, they aren't ghosts. They're just in Dezi's dream. I can explain if you don't get it once I finish the chapter.
It's a bit late to post now, but if I get a chance tomorrow I'll post! I'm so freaking busy within the last two weeks, I'm pooped! Stupid play... seriously, only three weeks, not even, to practice it so the Drama teacher is making us work longer and more days on it! And I'm in the last freaking scene and only have one line! I sit around the rest of the time doing nothing...

So ya, probably tomorrow or Tuesday, have a concert for band that day so ya... I have at least some time before I have to go BACK to the school...

“So if there’s anything you want to know before we have to go, you have to ask,” Hermione said, voice softened again.
“What’s with the weird dreams?” Dezi asked automatically. “I mean, I was never there, I don’t remember any of it, yet I’m dreaming it. How’s that possible?”
“Does it have to be just your memories?” Draco pointed out mysteriously.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Dezi asked, confused.
“You’re mad at Harry, aren’t you?” Hermione asked, not answering Dezi’s question just yet.
“How can you say that yet I can’t say something else?” Draco demanded.
“Because I was asking a question, Draco. Pick up a book and read once in awhile, it might prove helpful some day.”
“Yeah I am, but what does that have to do with anything?” Dezi responded, pushing Hermione’s comment aside for the moment.
“A fair amount, apparently,” Draco responded. Hermione scowled.
“We, well I, have been sending you memories that end up being your dreams,” Hermione responded simply.
“‘I’? What’s that supposed to mean?” Draco asked demandingly.
“That while you’ve been slumping around as normal, I’ve been working, as always,” Hermione shot back, rolling her eyes. It seemed slightly eerie to Dezi.
“Two of those dreams were mine!”
“Which ones?” she demanded, glaring at Draco suspiciously.
“Well I took a bit of it from Harry’s memory, not much really, but...”
“When dad was under the Imperius Curse...” Dezi responded, trying to recall the dreams.
“Half that was my memory as well,” Hermione mumbled.
“It’s not my fault I didn’t talk much good with Potter.”
“Actually...”
“And when dad was looking for a best man and asked Harry...” Dezi cut in, not wanting to hear more about the topic.
“Are you sure you didn’t take some of that from Harry?” Hermione asked, grinning slightly.
“And I don’t know whose point of view my first dream was from...”
“Both of us,” Draco and Hermione responded at the same time.
“And Harry,” Hermione added. “But overall those memories were mainly mine.”
“Technically Potter, as you keep on implying.” Hermione gave him a warning glare. “Well it’s only true...” he pointed out, shrugging.
“And technically my original question wasn’t answered...” Dezi implied quietly.
“Well, I...”
“Hey!”
“I was doing it to show that Harry isn’t all that bad, he did a lot for you back in the day actually... is that why you did it as well, Draco?”
Draco’s mouth opened to respond, but nothing came out again.
“Do I have to ask?” Dezi responded, smirking.
“See, I told you it was like looking in a mirror,” Draco said suddenly. “And half my reasoning was to help prove that... Potter... isn’t... all... that... bad...”
“What about a mirror?” Hermione asked. She wasn’t looking at Dezi, so she didn’t know what he meant.
Draco stood next to Dezi, crouched down to her height and smirked. Dezi smirked as well, knowing what he meant.
“See?” he said after a moment, returning next to Hermione. Dezi smiled for the first time in a few days.
“You can’t take that smile as your own,” Hermione huffed.
“Ok, I’m just curious, did you two bicker like this when I was younger?” Dezi asked curiously.
“No,” they both responded at the same time.
“Then why now?”
They both shrugged.
“I blame your father,” Hermione told Draco. His face darkened (not literally of course Impossible for a ghost...)
“All I can say is thank the Lord he’s in hell.”
Dezi covered a snort with a cough, which came out more like a cat noise than anything. When she looked up, she saw them fading away.
“Can’t I ask one more question?”
The two came back to their normal ghostly look.
“Apparently,” Draco responded, smirking.
“Go ahead,” Hermione rephrased.
Dezi’s expression seemed to go solemn, and then she asked, “Why’d you have to die?”

they can only appear in her dreams...
and as it was shown a bit more, in different forms, like their age...
they can only show themselves through memories really, and yet they have to have a valid reason to do so.
I'll explain a bit more at the end of part 4 It'll make a bit more sense once you kinda read a part in the last bit of the (end of the) chapter
And now that i read over a dream in a future chapter (yes, dreams throughout the story, no secret to that), that's not always entirely the case. *sighs to self* Draco and his ways...

they don't even know why they bicker (they said in that part, Dezi asked). It's kinda like when you're first married you're all happy, but once you live with the other person long enough, you fight occasionally.
I dunno... like brothers and sisters. I've been over to one of my friends' places and her sister asked, 'Why do you like my sister? She's so annoying'. It's just something that happens, if you live with the same person for a long time you grow tired of their ways (and it wouldn't be that hard to get annoyed by Draco's ego and vain-ness and sarcasm ).

Ok, 4 days is long enough. I'm posting.

I managed to get myself stuck like, 1 month ago anyways, so I took a hiatus... a month ago... (I'm stuck halfway through chapter 12, kinda getting close to there, even with my splitting-up of the chapters)

I'm so bad! (I JUST said that to my friend) I phoned my friend in the States that I haven't talk to in for like, ever and I just had to do something on runescape cause it's the season thing and she showed me and ya, I'll stop rambling now!

The two ghosts of her parents were speechless for a moment. Hermione finally spoke up.
“We chose a path doomed from the beginning...” she responded, seeming to be slightly unsure on how to respond.
“Why was I dragged into this mess?” Dezi realized.
“You were a mistake as Hermione put it,” Draco said bluntly.
“Draco!” Hermione exclaimed, punching his shoulder.
“What was that for?” He rubbed his shoulder. “That’s how you put it, and technically it is true!”
Hermione’s mouth opened, but she was speechless again, only odd croaking noises came out. “That night wasn’t by choice...”
“I don’t recall it going that way...” Draco mumbled.
“Didn’t need to know that!” Dezi exclaimed, pinching her eyes closed and covering her ears. She faintly heard Hermione chuckle. She let go of her ears a moment later.
“But... there has to me more to it than that...” she said, referring back to her question. “You could’ve Apparated...”
Draco slowly shook his head. “We couldn’t and we didn’t.”
“How so?”
“The Eaters put so many spells over the Manor so we wouldn’t leave,” he responded. “And it wouldn’t have out in the end anyways, it would be easier if they took us.”
Hermione looked, seeming very surprised.
“What?” he asked.
“Keep going!” Hermione said. “I’ve never heard you speak like this before, that’s all...”
Draco raised an eyebrow and turned his attention away from Hermione with an odd look on his face and back to Dezi, expression going back to normal.
“And even if we could, you would’ve hated it as much as we. No education...”
Hermione coughed hintingly.
“Well barely any,” he rephrased. “Life on the run, different names... it wouldn’t be worth it. We would’ve been killed, all three of us.”
“I’d rather be anywhere but Grimmauld Place or Hogwarts!” Dezi exclaimed. “I’ve been in the hospital wing more than classes because of being treated as the school’s practice target for spells because I’m the ‘mudblood Malfoy’, and I don’t even know what that means!” A hint of hysteria echoed in her respond.
“I’m gonna...”
“Mione!”
“What?” Dezi asked, confused.
“Harry hasn’t told you?” Hermione asked, forcing herself to sound calm.
“About what?”
“What the word mudblood means,” Draco responded. Hermione glared.
“No... Why would he?”
“Well, I’d figure if Pot-Head had enough sense he would...”
“Don’t start,” Hermione said darkly.
“Mudblood means dirty blood,” Draco explained. “It’s a word commonly used to describe muggle-born witches and wizards.”
“It’s a racial slang used among the Pures, every sentence Draco spoke before 7th year to me had the word in it.” She looked at Draco with blazing eyes.
“It’s not like I could go around saying, ‘Hey look, it’s Hermione Granger!’. It’s called having a reputation.”
“Which didn’t seem didn’t seem to hold up in the end I recall...”
“Neither did you from what I recall.”
“But you guys aren’t muggles, so why would I be called by a mudblood?” Dezi asked.
Draco looked at Hermione and whispered something They bickered momentarily, and Draco turned away from Hermione again.
“Potter is a prime example. His dad might’ve been a pure, but his mum was a mudblood.”
“Don’t you dare start again!”
“He’s more of a half than anything, but overall Potter would be considered a mudblood to... practically any pure family. It’s labeled all the same among purebloods; mudbloods, halfbloods, blood traitors... all are equally bad in the eyes of a true pure, especially the ranks of the Death Eaters.”
“What about the Weasleys? They never called Harry a mudblood...”
“Now you’ve got her saying it...” Hermione stressed.
“Blood traitors, they are,” Draco spat.
“Hey! Ginny saved your butt a few times, the least you could do is be grateful!”
“How do Bat-Bogey Hexes ‘save your butt’?”
“You deserved those hexes when she used it on you,” Hermione snapped.
“On the day of the wedding she gave me a Bat-Bogey Hex!” Draco exclaimed.
Dezi snorted. That seemed to bring her parents’ bickering to a stop, they seemed to forget she was there.
“You have dawdled your time long enough!” a deep voice boomed, echoing around the empty blackness. Hermione and Draco started to fade again.
“No, please...” Dezi started crying. She saw the distressed look on Hermione’s face, and Draco seemed distraught as well. They disappeared, and the fog disappeared.
Dezi now lay on the floor, a small puddle of tears forming by her arms. She didn’t want them to go, she still had many more questions to ask. She might never see them again, and that made her cry harder. It took her several long minutes to become calm enough to get up and walk, but even when she left the dungeons she was still teary.

Awww! *tear* that was great. Can't wait for the next one!

Chapter 10
Number 12 Grimmauld Place (Part 1)

“So where do you live anyways?” Sirius asked curiously on the Hogwarts Express the next day.
“In a muggle region actually,” Dezi responded.
“Which area?”
“I’m not sure what the area is called by actually...” she lied, shrugging.
The train slowed down amazingly quick, and it came to a full stop. The two of them gathered their things, and pushed their way through the walkways to the outside of the train. Despite how much Dezi didn’t want to return to Grimmauld Place, she hoped if she wasn’t as much a ‘pain’ as before, life would be easier. She planned to start with calling them mum and dad like she actually meant it.
She had owled Harry and Ginny about Sirius’s/Shane’s stay, making sure they didn’t give out their last name to him, and that if Sirius noticed the scar, Harry had to come up with a story about how he got it other than ‘Voldemort attacked me when I was a baby and your best friend got killed only to have you framed and put into Azkaban for twelve years’.
Dezi then spoke to Darren and Chloe, and she swore she’d hex them into the next year if they said their last name.
Stepping out of the train, Dezi cause sight of Ginny’s vibrant red hair in the crowd of adults and joined them.
“Hey mum, dad!” she said as she and Sirius caught up with Ginny and Harry.
“Hi dear,” Ginny said with a small smile. Harry seemed to disappear into the crowds.
“Shane, my mom...”
“Just call me Ginny, dear,” she responded, smiling.
“Thanks for letting me stay,” Shane responded, grinning.
“No problem.”
Harry immerged from the crowds with Darren in one hand and Chloe in the other, seeming to drag them out of the crowd.
“I’m starting to think twice about what time we arrive here...”
“And this is my dad...”
“Just call me Harry,” he responded, smiling as Chloe and Darren pulled away from him. To Ginny’s relief, his scar was hidden by his hair (which is still as messy as it ever was when he was younger).
“So out of curiosity, how are we getting home?” Dezi asked.
“Ministry cars.”
Harry seemed to stifle a laugh. Every time he heard the words ‘ministry car’, he thought of the Ford Anglia, he and Ron had to take in 2nd year. Ginny gave him a warning glare. The crowd thinned, and Ginny, Harry, Darren, Chloe, Dezi and Shane following behind her, left Platform 9¾. They left Kings Cross Station and milled into two cars, Darren and Chloe going with Harry, and Dezi and Shane went with Ginny.
Backing the car out of the parking spot, Ginny drove off.
“Since when could you drive the muggle way, mum?” Dezi asked, surprised.
“Since I was a child, I drove the Ford grandpa got when I was in school,” she responded as she turned out of the station’s parking lot.
“So you live in a muggle area?” Shane asked after a few moments silence.
“Yes,” Ginny responded, nodding.
“I used too as well, which area?”
“We don’t really know the name of the... townhouse area,” Ginny responded slowly. She forgot the muggle term for a group of houses in one area.
“What street is it then?” Shane pressed.
“We don’t really walk down it enough to know,” Ginny responded simply. They drove quickly down a straightaway, and Dezi started recognizing the area.
“Oh... well do you know the address at least?”
Ginny shook her head no. Shane chuckled. He looked around and his face flooded of all colour.
“I’ve been here before...” he mumbled, nearly inaudibly.
“Pardon me?” Dezi inputted, smiling innocently.
“I’ve probably just... passed by here before...”
Dezi smiled again as Ginny turned onto a dark street.
“I’ve definitely been here before,” he breathed. The car stopped behind the other Ministry car, and Ginny pulled out the keys and got out of the car. Dezi followed lead, and Shane did the same. He looked at the houses.
“Where’s the house in between...?”
“Read this and memorize it,” Ginny responded, passing Shane a piece of paper. His eyes scanned the paper and they widened. He turned to look at them.
“You’ve got to be kidding me!” he exclaimed.
