Sorry guys, I know I promised you the wedding in this installment, but what I ended up with was far too long to post as one chapter. Plus I need to tweak some of the dialog so it flows better. I promise this won't be ending too soon, I have a lot I want to fit into the story. The next chapter will definitely have the beginning of the wedding at the very least!

“What do you mean he didn’t use his wand?” Hermione shook her head at her husband while knitting a tiny cap for their unborn daughter.
“I’m telling you Hermione! He didn’t use his wand, or even say a spell! The feathers just did what he was thinking! His shoes nearly took off his head!” Ron was desperate for Hermione to believe him.
“That isn’t possible Ronald, I think Harry is playing a trick on you.”
“Mione, Dearest. Love of my life. I know what I saw!”
“Fine Ron, then have Harry come over and show me his new power. I may be in a fragile state, but I will not fall for your silly tricks!” Hermione was getting upset at the thought of her husband trying to play a joke on her. Knitting furiously she finished the tiny lavender cap with a lopsided flourish.

Ginny paced the living room at the burrow nervously. “Maybe we should postpone the wedding. Just until we know what is causing this effect on you? I mean it was a curse! It shouldn’t have made you stronger.”
Harry stood up and put his arms around Ginny to stop her pacing. “Sweetheart, we have put this wedding off long enough. Tomorrow you will become my wife. I don’t care if we have to get married in St. Mungos, we are getting married!”
Ginny leaned against Harry and cried quietly. “It’s just so scary, I mean what if you can’t learn to control it?” Harry just hugged her and rather suddenly a handkerchief appeared before them.
“I guess I was thinking I should find something to dry your eyes!” Harry laughed at the new trick. “I’m just going to have to learn how to curb what I am summoning and emotional wants. Don’t worry Gin. I think this is a good thing.”
Wiping her eyes Ginny nodded. “If you think so, I’ll trust your faith.”
“Good, Now you get to the flat and get some rest. I’m sure tomorrow Hermione will have you up bright and early to prepare for the wedding.” Harry kissed Ginny’s forehead lightly. “I love you Ginny, and the next time I see you, we will become husband and wife.” Ginny smiled broadly, kissed Harry on the cheek and dissapparated to his flat.

It was just after dawn and Ginny woke to the smell of frying bacon. Tying her pink bath robe around her she wandered into the kitchen with her eyes half closed. “ Mione, my mum better be helping you otherwise I may die from starvation.”
“Ginnerva! You be nice to your sister-in-law! She’s in a delicate state, and has learned how to cook very well!”
Giggling, Ginny sat at the table. “Yes mum. Sorry Hermione. You are an excellent cook, a gentlewoman and a scholar!”
Hermione laughed and placed a cup of Muggle coffee in front of Ginny. “My mum and dad send their regards, and about fifty kilos of coffee as a wedding gift!”
“I love your parents. They are gentlepeople and scholars.”
“You are so weird Ginny.”
“Yeah well, you married my brother and are having his baby. I win.”
Molly laughed at the two girls. “Well Hermione, she does have you there. There is nothing odder than an amazing woman such as yourself marrying one of my little Neanderthals.”
“So, did Ron tell you about Harry’s new power?” Ginny asked Hermione between bites.
“You mean it’s true?!” Hermione looked shocked
Ginny ate a piece of toast and nodded. “Yeah, saw it with my own eyes. He can’t control it just yet, but he can definitely perform his magic with a mere thought.”
“That is all fine and well dears, but finish breakfast quickly. We have to transform my little tomboy into a princess! After all she is the baby and the only girl!” Molly chided while mopping her eyes of sentimental tears.
“Aww mum! Don’t cry like that” Ginny hugged her mother tenderly.

“Harry, come on mate! We need to get breakfast before we get dressed!” Ron walked into Harry’s room without knocking. Once inside he saw that Harry was playing with his new found power. Harry was hovering about a meter off of the ground while all of his possessions floated around him in a sort of wind tunnel.
“Oh this is wicked cool! I hope it doesn’t fade!” Harry said as he floated gently to the floor and all of his belongings righted themselves.
“Right, well in case you forgot, you’re marrying my baby sister today. Perhaps you should stop goofing off and go with me to breakfast?”
“Oh Ron, I’m perfectly aware of what today is! I couldn’t be happier, I just wanted to test my theory. No more playing with the powers until after the wedding! Don’t be offended for Ginny.”
“Oh ok Harry, but do hurry up, I’m starving and we still have to pick up your dress robes from my house. Mione shooed me out of there so early this morning I forgot and just went to sleep on Fred’s sofa.”
“You’re lucky he didn’t hex you when you were sleeping.” Harry laughed
“Oh he tried, but luckily Hermione put a little protection spell on me before I left the house. I’m sure Fred’s tail will fall off sometime before the wedding!” Both men roared with laugher at this.
“Your wife is bloody brilliant mate!”
“Aye, that she is. I’m already afraid of our daughter. Her mother’s brains and my sense of mischief? I think she’ll give Fred and George’s kids a run for their money!” Ron and Harry chuckled and headed off to the Leaky Cauldron for Harry’s last meal as a single bloke.

Fourth Year | Chapter Seven: The Wedding
As promised, here is part one of the wedding. I am very sorry that it has taken so long to post, but my life has been utter chaos for the last week or so. There is a lot of description in this chapter as I was trying to set the scene. The next chapter will have Harry, and Ginny's Vows. Thanks so much for sticking with me! Arthur Weasley paced the corridor nervously. He was so afraid of tripping over his own feet, or even worse tripping Ginny. He had seen all of his boys married, and was glad for it, but he had never needed to walk anyone down an aisle. Not only that but Harry had gotten permission to hold the ceremony at Hogwarts, so he would be walking Ginny down the great staircase.
Just as Arthur worked himself into quite a worry, the door to Ginny’s dressing room creaked open.
“Arthur, Ginny would like to take a few pictures with you before the ceremony, please come in here.” Hermione smiled at her beloved father-in-law. She could see the beads of sweat forming on his brow.
When Arthur entered the room he saw Ginny and gasped at her beauty. Never before had he seen his little girl look so lovely. She wore a shimmering white ball gown that had silver threads woven throughout. Her fiery red hair was curled and piled up on her head as well as cascading down her back. On top of her head was a delicate silver tiara that showcased a single ruby Harry had chosen when he asked Ron to make her headpiece. She had a simple veil that ran down her back and onto the floor. As she walked to her father it trailed behind her.
“Dad, are you alright? You look sad.”
“Yes baby, you’re just so gorgeous. I never told you enough.” tears were forming in his eyes when he noticed her necklace. “Ginny, is that your mother’s necklace?”
“Yes dad, it’s my “something borrowed”. I was told I should borrow something from a happily married woman, and I don’t know anyone happier than mum”
Arthur nodded as a tear ran down his cheek. He had saved for two years to be able to give that to Molly, when he had finally bought it he waited to give it to her on a special occasion. He chose the day of Ginny’s birth. Molly hadn’t taken it off once in those twenty-something years until today. He was giving his baby girl to another man, and he couldn’t be happier.

Ron handed Harry a butterbeer and smiled. “Well mate, today is the day you finally become my brother.” They clinked glasses and both took a deep drink.
“I can’t believe it has taken me this long to marry her. I can’t believe she’s waited this long for me to finally get to the alter.”
“Harry, she’s been in love with you since she was ten. I think she was more than willing to wait a few extra months.”
Harry smiled at that remembering the first time he had seen Ginny. He was only eleven and was confused as to how to get to platform 9 ¾. When Molly Weasley helped him and shooed him onto the train with her boys Ginny smiled and waved and told him “good luck” Now he was making that woman his wife. Those red-headed lunatics his family. He was a very lucky man.
Neville wandered into Harry’s dressing room. “Oh there you are Harry, I think it’s time to start. Come and take your place at the alter. Oh, and thanks for having Beatrice as the flower girl! She is so excited to walk down the aisle.”
“No problem Neville, it was safer than having Georgina and Winnifred.” Neville just looked confused as Ron and Harry laughed.

The Music was soft as was the candlelight. The guests all sat in hushed wonder as they looked toward the grand staircase. Beatrice had just sprinkled red rose petals down the stairs and up the aisle.
Ron escorted his very pregnant wife down the staircase. Even six months pregnant Hermione looked elegant in her apple red gown. She held her head high as Ron lead her down the aisle kissed her on the cheek and parted ways so that he could stand by Harry. The music changed and at the top of the staircase Ginny appeared on the arm of Arthur. As everyone stood Harry was amazed. This gorgeous woman, this goddess on earth was about to become his wife for the rest of his life.
Arthur walked Ginny down the great staircase and up the aisle with her elegant train trailing behind them slowly gathering some of the rose petals beneath it. When they got to the alter Arthur turned to Ginny and took both of her hands in his own. “I love you Ginny, you have made your mother and I so proud.” with that he kissed her cheek and handed her off to Harry. “Take good care of my baby, Harry.”
“I will sir” Harry said nodding
“Who gives this woman to this man?” The minister asked.
“Her mother and I do” Arthur said, with tears in his eyes and pride in his heart.

Hello faithful readers! And New readers! :waves: Sorry that this has taken so long. I have written Ginny's vows dozens of times and none of them seemed adequate. My life has been a daze of wedding planning and regular life drama. I will try to post the next chapter within a week's time. Hopefully sooner. Thank you all for the patience. Harry gazed at Ginny lovingly. She was so gorgeous in her satin gown. His heart swelled with love, and recognition of the commitment they were making to one another.
“Harry and Ginny have written their own vows in honor of Harry’s Muggle upbringing.” The minister nodded toward Harry.
“Ginny, today I not only take you as my wife, I give you myself as your husband. I am so blessed to be marrying such an intelligent, strong and loving woman. We have watched each other grow from children to adults. You have stood by my side through war and suffering. You have sacrificed so many tears of worry over my well being. You have stayed strong, and fought alongside me. Not just for the greater good, but for “us”. You knew that you loved me long before I realized we belong together. I guess it’s true that women mature faster.”
The crowd giggled and Hermione smiled broadly at Ron and winked as if to say “See? I told you so.”
“Ginny, I could make you dozens of cliché promises. Telling you that I will love you and be devoted to you for the rest of my life, but that isn’t true. I will love you for all of eternity. I will worship you for your eternal patience. I will do my best to make you as happy as you could ever be. We will have problems, and we will fight, but Ginny, my dearest love, we will always be together. We will always make it. I would lay down my life for you a million times to insure you never shed another tear. So here is my vow, I promise to give you all that I am.” Harry choked slightly on his last words. Tears were falling freely from his eyes as he gave his very soul to Ginny.
The minister nodded toward Ginny. Clearing her throat and brushing the tears from her eyes she began; “Harry, you always have been a hard act to follow.” the guests all laughed. Ginny began again. “Harry, there are no words that adequately express my love and devotion to you. Countless times you have risked life and limb to protect my family and me. There is nothing I can do that will ever compare to that. All I know is that there is nothing in this world that will ever make me stop loving you. I have loved you from the moment we met at King’s Crossing. I have dreamed of this day since I was merely ten years old. There have been many times when I thought I lost you, not only in love, but in life. I shed tears of worry, and pain. I feared that I would have to continue in a world without you. But know this, for every tear I shed, you have given me thousands of happy moments.
Love, and relationships are not only about the good times, but also about the struggle. I know now, that you were not my journey, but my destination. Harry, I promise you here and now, in front of everyone we know and love; I will do everything in my power to make you happy not only in our marriage, but in your life. I will cry a thousand tears, if it will bring you home safely. I will hold you every night and thank the heavens that I have been blessed with you another day. I give you myself, heart, body and soul. I love you Harry James Potter.”
Sniffles were heard throughout the crowd. Even Ron had tears running down his face as he handed the rings to the minister.
“Repeat after me, “Take this ring as a symbol of my love. It has no beginning and no end. Though the shine may fade, it will never tarnish.” Harry repeated the vow first, then Ginny. Both of them stared deeply into each others eyes. Hundreds of people sat in the room, but to Harry and Ginny, they were completely alone.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I am very proud to present Mr. Harry and Mrs. Ginny Potter! Harry, you may kiss your bride.”
As Harry wrapped his arms around Ginny’s waist she wrapped her arms around his neck and they shared their very first kiss as Husband and Wife.
