| too lazy to edit my previous post... again.
Anyways, I surprised myself and I did actually finish a one-shot I planned awhile back.
It's a Christmas one-shot and it's a Dramione as well as R/Hr (not as much R/Hr, but you'll see why when you read it).
It'll be up sometime in December obviously, dunno when.
It's called Last Christmas, and there're so many variations of it but I picked Jimmy Eat World because I like his version best (originally it was Ashley Tisdale but bleh, not as much now).
So I'll post the link to it when it's up in a weekish or so.
Remember, Last Christmas (Sa16+)
I personally like it and think it'll be... an interesting read. xD
That's my news of the night.
Or... morning or afternoon, whatever time it is in your time zone right now

ok I'm bored... and since no one else is commenting again I'm posting.
The title... I couldn't think of anything. 'Nough said Chapter 11
Everyone Around the Bed
“She’s moving...”
“Give her breathing room for Merlin’s sake!”
“You’re one to talk, Mr. One-inch-from-her-face!”
“Shut up.”
“What’re you even doing here, Malfoy?”
I groaned and heard movement. As my eyes opened, my head pounding as it was being hit by thousands of boulders. It took barely a moment for the sensation to go away, as if it was just a momentary headache.
“You ok?”
I looked to my left and saw Harry, Ron, Hermione... what was Draco doing here? Honestly, that boy...
“Yeah. What happened?” I asked as I rubbed my forehead. It felt as if it was swollen as big as a basketball, but it was receding quickly. I then realized I had actually had my eyes closed without faking. Man, I must’ve really jostled my brain around.
“You ran right into the wall,” Harry responded.
“And you flew back and landed on the floor... rather amusing if you think about it actually. You must’ve gone back at least 10 feet!” Ron added. Hermione whacked him over the head.
“That was some mighty escape attempt, I must say,” she said, smiling. “But that run-in... Merlin, you’d think there’d at least be a dent in the wall with the force you ran into it at!”
“Wasn’t there?” I asked flatly. When the four of them looked at me oddly, I added, “It felt like it absorbed me and shot me back, that’s all.”
“No, nothing. No dent or fallen bricks... no wait, there was a bit of an indentation... no wait, that was just a scratch or a body outline at the time. Whatever, apparently there was something but I didn’t see anything,” Hermione replied, shrugging simply.
I couldn’t help but be a bit surprised, but I hid it well.
“And this would’ve have happened if you let her go,” Draco snapped.
“Don’t go there again!” Hermione snapped back, glaring at him.
“You’ve always badgered me about telling the truth, but now that I am...”
“Shut up,” I cut in. “I feel fine, honestly. Get out of the way.”
“You just hit a stone wall and you’ve never felt better?” Ron asked, flabbergasted.
“Yes, actually.” I sat up and swung my legs over the side of the bed. I then stood up, wobbled on the spot momentarily, but the stretched. I looked at the four in front of me; they were gapping as if they’d just seen me come back from the dead.
“Ms. Lyon! Get back in that bed this instant!” Madam Pomfrey exclaimed as she practically ran across the room.
“I feel fine,” I responded, shrugging.
“You just ran into a stone wall. There’s no way you could feel rejuvenated.”
I just shrugged in response. “Well I do.”
Madam Pomfrey sighed, and then huffed “You can go, but if you feel like... you ran into a wall, come back immediately.”
“I will,” I responded, adding a smile to calm the woman. It seemed to do the trick, and she walked away.
“Well, if you don’t mind I’m going to go get my...”
“Books so you can stick your nose back in them?” Draco finished. In the blink of an eye, Hermione’s wand was out and jabbed into his chest.
“Shut up and go,” she snarled. He smirked, and she raised her wand so it was at his throat, a rather considerable reach for her because he had to be at least 6 feet tall in comparison to her 5 foot 5 stature. He rolled his eyes and walked away. As soon as the door swung shut, Hermione spun around and looked at me.
“Do you honestly hang around him?” she asked me, sounding shocked.
“Not like I have much choice, he is my Potions partner, remember?”
“That’s in one class out of 6! There are no projects you have to do together,” Hermione pointed out. I looked at Harry and Ron, who were muttering to each other. They looked at me.
“What?” they asked simultaneously.
“Don’t you have anything to say?” I asked curiously.
“As soon as you said ‘Potions’ I zoned out,” Ron responded, shrugging. Harry nodded in agreement.
“You two are hopeless,” I muttered.
“You sound just like Mione!” Ron exclaimed. Hermione got up on her tip-toes and hit him over the head again. She then huffed away, slamming the door shut.
“What’d I say...?” Ron grumbled as he rubbed his twice hit head.
Harry rolled his eyes and then looked at me, asking, “Why do you hang around the ferret?”
“He’s interesting enough,” I responded simply. Harry and Ron scoffed simultaneously.
“He’s not all that bad anyways.”
Before I even finished, Ron had left the conversation. He slammed the door, accenting my comment dramatically.
“That’s just like saying that vampire isn’t that bad,” Harry muttered. I glared at him.
“Never compare Cody to Draco!” I yelled. I then walked away, using all my self-control to resist killing Harry myself.
“Wha... they’re both evil!”
“No they’re not!” I yelled back. I then slammed the hospital wing door and stormed away. As I turned the corner, a hand grabbed my arm. I jumped out of the grip, knowing it was Draco without even needing to look.
“What’d Potter say?” he asked automatically.
“Nothing.”
He gave me a skeptical look.
“Nothing you need to know,” I rephrased. I then started to walk away, but was stopped once more.
“I’m not deaf – I heard what you said. Well, screamed more so, but...”
I yanked away from Draco. Without even looking back, I said, “Not now.” Pulling out of his grip, I walked away, heading for the Great Hall.

Ok... well, I'm updating again.
And it has nothing to do with the fact it's 1:30am on a school night.
More specifically the middle of the school week but w/e. Stupid homework, stupid planning teacher for never being able to explain his stupid projects until practically two days before a whole freaking booklet is due... *grumbles*
Anyways, finished that and my paragraph for something else, so I feel like posting!!
Ha, it took me 10 minutes to place the word 'proud' in a sentence near the end of the chapter (I just added it and was like 'crud, what's that word...' and kept trying to remember by using the thesaurus on MS Word... finally got a result)
Ha, I’m on twilight-use rampage... except this time I used a line Eclipse.
Enjoy the update =)
So far unnamed, as you can tell. Might seem like just another pointless chapter, but it does have to contribute somewhat Chapter 12
Things had fallen back to normal as another few weeks went by. Snow covered the ground with its soft, light fluff constantly. I really wished Cody would just freeze to death, but his skin is already colder than the snow... the idea nagged my mind constantly when I was bored; seeing him shivering, slowly dying of hypothermia, begging for heat, pleading for his life.
In my daydreams.
I was walking alone, heading towards the owlery. I might as well let my parents know I’m not going to be home for Christmas, after all, apparently the more time I spend with ‘the trio’, the more they will trust me. They didn’t get I wasn’t planning on getting them killed... or at least helping with that.
As I passed through part of the woods, I heard screaming. I quickly made my way to the source of the noise and saw a male 3rd year writhing on the ground. And I smelled blood.
Covering my nose and mouth, I got near the boy and saw a small bite mark on his arm.
“IT BURNS!” he continually yelled, sobbing. “SAVE ME! IT BURNS!”
Cody will regret this.
Taking in a deep breath from my mouth, I picked the boy up and didn’t breathe in. I then ran to the castle and quickly made my way around and up a flight of stairs. It was uncomfortable not to breathe, but I could deal without oxygen if I really needed to.
Turning my back to the door, I pushed it open and walked inside, cringing at the noise the boy kept making.
“What’s going on?” Madam Pomfrey exclaimed as she ran out of her office.
“I found him like this in the forest,” I said calmly, still not breathing.
Madam Pomfrey took him from my arms and took him down to an open bed. She looked at the wound, holding his arm as he thrashed around.
“He’s been bitten,” I heard her breathe. She turned around and asked me, “When did you find him?”
“Minutes ago, not even five,” I responded.
“Was anyone else around?”
“No.” I couldn’t consider that a lie exactly. Technically Cody wasn’t around, but he was somewhere out there, probably rejoicing that he had hunted a wizard, and a young one at that. He always told me wizard blood tasted better. When I asked why, he said it was the magic; it tasted sweet.
“Can you find Professor McGonagall for me?” Madam Pomfrey asked. I nodded, and left running. As soon as the door was closed, I was able to breathe normally. I managed to find the gargoyle that would bring me to the office.
“Uh... animagus?”
I didn’t think this would work, but it did. I jumped onto the stairs, slowly revolving up to the office. It stopped in front of a wooden door. I knocked.
“This isn’t...”
“There’s a big problem!” I called through the door. Suddenly, the wood in front of me disappeared in a flash as it was flung open. I jogged through and stopped in the centre of the room.
“What?” McGonagall asked me.
“A boy... 3rd year. He was... bitten.”
I saw McGonagall’s normally passive expression was taken over by fury in an instant.
“Another vampire followed me here to Hogwarts. He’s known to take a liking to wizard blood,” I explained quickly, knowing what she was thinking before she could ask.
McGonagall sighed.
“Madam Pomfrey needs you,” I finally said. Before I could say another word, McGonagall was out the door and going down the stairs, leaving them in place so I would be able to get out. I just stood dumbly, thinking of how I could kill Cody. It’s hard to kill vampires, because they’re immortal (despite how it’s known that they can age really slowly. They can look like withering old men and still be alive and kicking), but I’ll find a way...
Running back outside, I headed back to the section of the forest I had found the boy.
“Cody?” I called, keeping a normal, conversational tone that had no indications of what I wanted to do. He would hear me clearly enough; his hearing is excellent.
Within moments, I saw a figure emerge from behind the trees. Gold eyes met mine.
“Damn it, what’s your problem?” I yelled.
“I’m not the one yelling,” he responded simply. I glared.
“I’m not a murderer,” I snarled.
“So you don’t consider killing animals murder?” he asked, his voice still calm. I hate how he can be so calm, despite the situation.
“You used to kill animals, or with what you’re insinuating, should I say ‘murder animals’?” I retorted. “Out of all the people in the world you could’ve picked, you went after a student? He was barely 15!”
“Don’t you recall when you were 15?”
I gave him a venomous look and hissed. Even he recoiled at my fury, a very rare act. I felt rather proud of myself.
“Don’t turn this on me. I swear... were you trying to make it known you’re here?”
“You told the Headmistress, didn’t you?” he asked flatly.
“It’s not like I had a choice,” I pointed out.
“So she knows?”
“Yes. Some people are able to keep secrets,” I responded matter-oh-factly.
“I’m starting to wonder why I should keep secrets,” he threatened.
“It’s barely been three months. You can do better than that,” I snapped, glowering.
“It wouldn’t be my fault, would it?” he retorted, a smirk starting to form on his pale face.
As his smirk grew, I saw his eyes change from a gold colour to pale grey, his hair went silver-blonde... I shook off this feeling and came back to reality.
He took advantage of my silence. “I kept the kid alive at least. Don’t hate me for saving a life.”
I laughed. “You consider turning an innocent kid into a vampire ‘saving a life’? You said it isn’t much of a life.”
“You’d know, eh?”
Anger burned in my eyes once more. I then realized I had let him make me more vulnerable to attack.
“I hate you,” I snarled.
“Good, hate is a passionate emotion.”
“You’re hopeless,” I scoffed. Turning around, I stormed off; I couldn’t believe him sometimes, he can be so... no words can describe the fit of fury he put me in!

Thanks I'll change that now.
I knew it had to be the 2nd or 3rd book...
I was angry at him too I was all 'Come on, Jacob! Stop being so annoying! Grr...' and all. I actually don't mind him as much now, but I didn't like him at all before.
Glad you all liked the update.

I actually don't like Edward that much. I mean, he lies to Bella a lot and seems way overprotective.
I used to love him tho but after many conversations with my friend (who reads the books as well), I realized that he actually isn't as awesome as I thought.
Cody shall remain Edward, no worries Just in different ways obviously because he's not Edward exactly but yeah.
And yeah, I'll update in a few days I s'pose

Lol. Yeah.
Same about Jacob, he really bugged me in the 2nd book but I felt kinda bad and sorry for him in the 3rd book.
Ok, I SOOOO did not mean to time it this way, but it's kinda perfect at the same time.
The next... 3 or so posts are Deanne's Christmas (there's more to it than that obviously, but the next few chapters are centred around the holiday). Man, it's kinda funny it worked out that way...
Anyways, here's an update.
Enjoy. Chapter 13
A Talk with Cody
The next few weeks of November passed by, and the transition into December was simple enough. I suffered through classes, listening to Draco’s occasional comment in Potions and other classes he had been forced to sit next to me in. I swear, he can be nice enough but now he’s going over-the-top. He’s just like all the other guys that swooned over me; a blabbering idiot of a show-off, only he took it to the next level.
Throughout the weeks, Harry and Draco fought for my attention. I’ve never seen either of them so interested in class; they beat Hermione to the answers of questions, for Merlin’s sake! At one point, I found Draco had bought me a bracelet with a small, ruby heart charm along with a bouquet of roses. Little did he know how I felt about the fact it was a heart... I thought it was cute but I didn’t like what the heart symbolized other than love. It meant many things to me, but a heart meant nothing to me.
Harry gave me the courtesy of accompanying me on my first trip to Hogsmeade; I made it clear it was not a date. He showed me around, told me of his adventures in third year when he couldn’t enter Hogsmeade because of a threat that people believed would kill him; he was rather closed mouth about the threat itself though. What was it? Was it a person or a creature? And most of all, why was it believed his life was at stake?
Either way, Hogsmeade was more fun with him there.
The night before we were to leave for the ‘Headquarters’, as Harry called it, I managed to sneak out of the castle undetected. I swiftly made way to the forest, the only noises being movements of creatures within the forest. I followed the noises. They led me through the trails between the lifeless, white trees that shone in the moonlight. I was led to the lake I had been at months before when Harry met my worst nightmare. I saw the outline of a figure in the distance.
“Hello.”
I sighed. I now began to wonder why I really came out here.
The figure of Cody suddenly became perfectly clear as he swiftly ran from his location between the trees to the tree closest to the edge of the ice on the opposite end of the lake.
“Come here to kill me?” he asked. I knew he was joking, but it didn’t make me smile. I just looked into his still bright gold eyes, entranced and in deep thought.
“No,” I finally responded.
“To unleash buried anger?”
“No,” I repeated.
“I’m not sure if I believe you’re here just to see me,” he said, a playful smile on his face.
I didn’t understand the change in him. I hadn’t seen his truly light-hearted side in years; I missed it. maybe he knew that. Was he trying to get me back... again?
“Are you staying here over Christmas?”
“Where’re you going?” he pressed.
“That’s what I’m here to tell you... well not exactly, but don’t follow me to where I’m going,” I said, my tone hard. I saw a Malfoy smirk forming on his face.
“What makes you believe that I’d listen to that?”
I sighed. “Well other than it showing you’re a desperate loser, I won’t be afraid to destroy you.”
I heard him chuckle lightly, his smirk disappearing to nothing.
“It’s just two weeks. Can’t you live alone... or without annoying me, for that long?”
“Can you?”
The question took me by surprise. Cody took advantage of this, naturally.
“If you think about it, who’s the one that keeps coming out here?” he pointed out, smiling innocently.
“Who’s the one that’s followed me for years?” I snapped back. “It’s not my fault I come out here, I have reasons that aren’t ‘I have to see you’.”
“But they’re still there, aren’t they?” he countered, still smiling.
I opened my mouth to snap back, but I changed my mind. “Two weeks. If I see you anywhere near where I’m going, I swear...”
“Ok,” he cut in, shrugging. “Can you just do one thing though?”
I glared suspiciously. “What?”
“Smile.”
I was taken aback. Why the hell does he want me to smile?
“Why?”
“I just said I’m leaving you alone for two weeks and you can’t even smile at the thought?” he asked in overdramatic shock.
I couldn’t believe it; he actually got me and made me smile. Just when I thought I had figured him out, Cody would surprise me. But I swear, if he doesn't stay away from me during one of the best holidays of the year, I will search through books on the most successful ways to kill a vampire.
