You could say, as Draco threw himself, face first and rather undignified onto his bed in the slytherin boys dormitory, that he was stressed out. He gave a low grunt that shook the four posters matress gently. Breathing in, Draco raised his fist then brought it down with a sharp punch onto one of his many pillows.
The rest of the slytherin 'males' were out, most of them stuffing thier faces at dinner. So, for the moment, Draco was alone. The oppertunity did not go wasted.
He yelled into his bed, kicking and flailing his limbs about in a fit of frustration and anger. The pillows bounced about pointlessly, falling off the bed one after another, the blankets screwing up in small bunches each time Draco's fist came in to contact with the heavy yet warm well made fabric. Just as quickly as he started he stopped. Panting heaily he somehow got his breathing in rythm with the slowing bouncing of the matress.
He rolled over and wiped the sweat off his forehead. His platinum fringe was sticking to it in a disgusting way, his icy grey eyes glittering with anger. He screwed up his godlike face in a frown and gave a low growl of anger.
His mind was searching over what had happened earlier. He had kissed Hermione. Her lips had touched his and she had kissed him back. She was constantly in his head, she was additive, his aphrodisiac, she clamed him.
He had to kill her.
But it would kill him.
There was no winning.
An owl flew to his window and he sprang off the bed in a slightly more graceful manner than his earlier yelling episode. Allowing the Eagle owl into his dormitory he took the letter off it's leg, pushing forward a small tray of water for the owl to drink from.
He unfurled the parchment and a handwriting that made him sick to his stomach, made him lurch.
Draco, the handwriting said,
It has come to my attention that you are wasting time on your mission. All you need to do is make a potion and slip it in her drink. Or you could just do it in the way the Dark Lord favours. The unforgivable curse way.
If i have to remind you to hurry up again Draco, there will be consequences.
Kill Hermione Granger, or get killed yourself.
Father.
Draco shivered. He stuffed the letter in his pocket and swore loudly. The rude word echoed off the walls and the portraits gasped in surprise.
"Oh shut up" He snapped at them, he was not in the mood to be gasped at by any one, especially wall people.
He decided that a walk would do him good. Where ever he went would be fine. Although, secretly, he knew where he might turn up.
So off he went, his feet taking him to the place h thought he would go, only in the distance, he could hear voices, arguing. He didn't like to eavesdrop but he knew the voices well, and he had a feeling he was involved. Hermione's angry scream made him jump and he stood stock still, listening.
"WHAT?" She screamed and Draco smiled, she did have a good temper "I do not 'fraternise' with the enemy Ronald! Just because i would like to make friends with people doesn't mean i'm someone who 'Fraternises' with the enemy! Krum wasn't the enemy! Ever! He was just a boyfriend ok? McLaggen...I tried to make you jealous with McLaggen you moron. "
Draco thought she had a point there, i mean, anyone who wasn't Ron could tell, even Potty could see it. He listened to Hermione take in a quick breath before continuing her furious torrent at the stunned Weasel.
"You we're just to busy sucking Lavenders face off that you thought he was the enemy! Harry's enemy maybe but no, don't be stupid!"
Draco pulled on the famous Malfoy smirk as he listened to Hermione point out the bleeding obvious. He had a feeling he liked her brutal honesty too...
"I confunded him for you!" It almost sounded like she was going to cry and Draco's heart wrenched, pulling at him to run to her, to cradle her, to hold her and tell her that it was going to be alright...
"What about Malfoy?" Ron asked quietly.
He held his breath for the answer, his body tense, he wanted to know, he needed to know, he had a mission...no. NO he did not have a mission...he wanted to know if he could go after her...he...he had no idea what he wanted.
"Draco...He's...different Ron...He's not like we think he is..." Hermione sobbed and Draco was shocked, he had expected her to laugh or insult him but not that...
"You like him don't you?" Ron continued to ask.
That was it. Hermione had broken down and he fled round the corner. His arms outstretched, ready to hold Hermione, "What have you done to make her cry Weasel king?" He barked at Ron, reaching Hermione and pulling her as close to his body that he could.
Ron was amazed.
Hermione sobbed and leant into him.
Draco's letter stabbed at him.

Oh, no! That letter's cruel! I hate that letter! Why does Draco have to kill Hermione? That's just plain old cruel!

Pansy was furious
This wasn't any kind of normal anger. This was the type of anger that meant first years would find themselves pinned up against walls. Dishes would become broken. Her wand would constantly be spitting angry sparks.
Draco was cheating on her.
She screamed angrily, the dark brown bob of hair that hung about her shoulders began to whip people too close to her. The dark brown eyes sparked murderously with in her pug ugly face, her lips ripped into a viscious snarl.
She was going to take Granger down.
She clenched her fists and stamped her foot, infuriated that Draco could do such a thing to kiss a foul mudblood in the corridor and not kiss the pureblood that she was.
Granger had stolen her boyfriend, no, Fioncee! She was going to pay. She was going to regret making that choice.
What angered her more was that her man, her Draco was not in the common room as much as she used to be. He wasn't there to lord it over those useless first years like the Pureblood king he was. He wasn't there for Pansy to satisfy his every whim and desire. Oh no. He'd gone, that job wasn't Pansy's any more, it was Grangers.
They were supposed to be together. Everyone agreed, pure blood to pure blood, Draco and Pansy were perfect. Her parents had contacted her and asked for the date of a marriage between her and Draco. It was arranged between the Malfoy's and the Parkinsons, they were going to get together. A marriage was already being arranged. She would not have him cheat on her.
She tornadoed out the common room, smashing and ruining anything that got to close to her. She threw people to the sides and screamed torrents of abuse at them.
Slamming her way into the library she bellowed in anger for Granger. She was going to rip her hair out if she didn't give Draco back. Actually, she was going to kill her anyway. She had stolen her man.
She looked about murderously, ripping books off the shelves until she found Hermione. Unknown to her, Draco was with her concealed, holding her hand as she studied.
She rushed over to Hermione and grabbed her hair, she yanked on it and screamed.
"YOU TOOK DRACO FROM ME!"
Draco swallowed, horrified.
