Here is Chapter 17! Chapter 17: “Harry?” Hermione called again. Still no answer came… Hermione moved from her little hiding spot and walked over to where Harry had been standing moments before…there was nothing or anybody there. “Harry…” Hermione called once again. “Boo!” said a voice right behind her. Hermione screamed and turned around to see Harry laughing and smiling…and alive. “Harry!” Hermione cried for the fourth time as she jumped into his arms and gave him a hug. “Hello Hermione…” “Harry I thought you were dead! I thought…” Hermione stopped in mid sentence and pulled away from Harry. “You idiot!” Hermione snapped, slapping Harry in the arm. “Ow! What was that for?” Harry asked. “You scared me! I thought you were dead! Don’t you ever do that again!” “I’m sorry! When I pretend to die I’ll let you know ahead of time” Harry laughed. “Harry then if you didn’t get killed…did you survive the killing curse…again?” Hermione asked amazed. Harry rolled his eyes. “Don’t be ridiculous Mione! I’m the one who yelled the killing curse the last time…I…I killed Voldemort…” Hermione looked at the floor behind Harry. And sure enough there laid Voldemort…dead. “Harry! You…you did it! You finished off Voldemort!” Hermione yelled. “Yeah…” Harry said looking at the floor. “What’s the matter?” Hermione asked. “Hermione what does it matter if I killed him? Killing him won’t bring all the people he killed back!” Harry said. “Harry…no it won’t but you saved a lot of people that could have been killed by him”. Hermione hugged Harry. “I guess you’re right” Harry sighed. At that moment Draco ran into the dungeon. “What happened?” He asked. “Draco! Harry did it!” Hermione yelled as she ran towards him. “Did what?” Draco asked confused. Hermione pointed to Voldemort’s dead body. Draco looked at it and then at Harry. “Look at that Potter. First you came in here scared of the damn guy and now look what you did…you killed him!” Draco smiled. Harry laughed. “Come on let’s go back to Hogwarts” Harry said as he walked towards the door. The three walked out of the Malfoy Manor unaware that there was still one more person in the house who had not been hurt at all… I hope you all enjoyed! Love, Emma |
