The Match Here's a short little Game post... ^_^ “Time out! Time out!” Alex yelled angrily to the referee. As soon as the whistle blew, he flew quickly over to Christelle, who had let yet another Quaffle through the hoops. “What is going on?” he asked angrily. “I’m—I’m sorry, Alex… I just have a lot on my mind and—” she stuttered. “Well get it out of your mind and get your head in the bloody game! We can’t lose this match, Christelle!” “Then tell Cho to hurry up and find the Snitch!” she screamed suddenly at him as tears streaked down her face. “I’m sorry if I can’t get my abusing, torturing ex-boyfriend off my mind, wondering if he’s behind me every second or watching my every move!” she yelled as she slipped her gloves off her hands and flung them at him. He caught them, still in shock, as she quickly flew toward the changing rooms. Christelle tore the rest of her pads off as the door busted open to reveal a disheveled Charlie. “What happened?” he asked immediately as he swept her up into his arms. “I—I just can’t do this anymore! I can’t go out there and worry about some stupid Quidditch match when I have something more important to worry about!” “Okay, okay, let’s just calm down and get you home, okay?” he said softly. She nodded against his chest as he tugged her to the door. He led her quickly to their Apparition point, not paying attention to the game where Alex was now telling McLaggen to stop trying to tell his teammates what to do and pay attention to the Quaffles coming at him. Sorry if I don't post as often. I've kind of got a load of college work, so I'll post as often as I can. And I think we're getting close to the end of this story. I haven't quite decided how long I'm going to carry it out, but I have a feeling it won't be long. Let me know what you think :glomp: |
Hello Emily. Oh dear! I sympathize with Christella. Poor thing! How does one get stuff out of their heads when it is such a powerful fear. Of course my answer to that is God's Mercy, but, for the sake of the story, we'll not consider that. Hopefully Bobby will slip up sometime soon, and HARRY (:P my hero) will find him. :xd: Of course you can use whoever you want, I was just teasing. But she does need something to happen soon. I'm thinking she is at the end of her rope. Quote:
Emily, please don't think we will desert you or something for taking care of real life things. I know you have your priorities straight, and I'm so thankful I don't have to feel guilty about you writing your ff's instead of your studies. Thank you for this bit, it was great, and just take care of yourself. I don't want you to become overwhelmed like Christelle. :glomp: |
Your ending this soon!!! :faint: I'm so sad. OMG! Don't kill Christelle! And I thought Alex was a good guy. Guys just don't understand girl *shakes head* I'm glad George was there though. He makes everything all better :) Great Post dear-even if it was a short one. :P I get the whole homework thing so don't worry if you can't post too often, remember how I learned to be patient? Soph xx |

Of Course You Know Me. So, yeahhh... :shifty: She barely left the house for weeks, skipping her Quidditch practices, not answering any letters that flew through her window, and not answering the door when someone pounded their fist on it. It was like the dawn of the dead in her and Charlie’s apartment. Charlie tried to get her out of the place every once in a while, but she refused. She didn’t want to leave again until Bobby was locked away in Azkaban. She knew it was driving Charlie crazy, but she just couldn’t. He never complained to her or anything. And so, he did the only thing he could think of to get her to feel alive again. He went to Ginny. “Christelle Jeffries! If you don’t open this door, I will break it down!” came Ginny’s voice from outside the bedroom door. She heard someone argue with her before Ginny pounded on the door again. She wanted to hex Charlie into next week for sicking his sister on her. He didn’t fight fair. Christelle slowly got out of their bed, her eyes still puffy and her nose splotchy, from one of her crying tirades of feeling responsible for the entire mess. “Fine,” she grumbled as she unlocked the door and then went to curl up on the bed again, not bothering to actually open the door. She knew Ginny would fly through it any way, and she wasn’t wrong as the door banged open, hitting the wall. Ginny marched into the room, two other people on her heels. “Coach won’t tell me what happened at that match! You won’t answer my letters or calls. Charlie asks me to come talk sense into you because you’re acting like a zombie. What is wrong with you?” Ginny demanded as her hands clutched her hips tightly. “I don’t want to talk about it,” Christelle mumbled into the comforter. “Well that’s too bad, because our game is coming up and I refuse to lose because we have to have bloody McLaggen as our substitute Keeper!” Ginny studied her for a minute, taking in the rumpled pajamas and the mascara that was smudged down her cheeks and neck. “What happened?” Ginny asked more softly than before. “You know what happened,” Christelle answered as she met her eyes. “Chris, c’mon, you’re giving him what he wants by locking yourself up in your room, by not playing your favorite game, by not smiling or laughing, and even not loving!” “You don’t get it!” Christelle huffed as her eyes flashed dangerously. “You’re right, I don’t get it! I don’t get why you refuse to live your life just because some git put a target on you! Do you have any idea how many Aurors we have watching you and Charlie, making sure you’re safe? We know the risks, Christelle, and we’ve prepared for them. He isn’t going to touch you or any of us ever again. As soon as he comes out into the open, he is going down,” Ginny said darkly and Christelle couldn’t help but smile slightly. “Come on, let’s go out tonight,” Ginny whispered. “It will take your mind off things. We can go to that Muggle club you like so much,” Ginny smiled. “Okay… Let me take a shower,” Christelle whispered in defeat. She sat up slowly, taking in the other people. One was Harry; he looked at her apologetically. The other, of course, being Charlie. He looked instantly relieved that Ginny had gotten through to her. She gave them both a small smile and caressed Charlie’s cheek in passing as she went to get ready. Christelle smiled slightly as they all sipped their whiskeys and talked quietly in their little corner of the club. Christelle knew the owner, so she was able to get VIP passes. Down on the dance floor, many people were dancing, some so inappropriate that you had to look away. Ginny had invited Hermione, Ron, Angelina, and George, along with Bill and Fleur. Christelle talked quietly with Charlie, their conversations ranging from her dragon to the new changes they wanted to make to their flat. “Christy!” someone in her ear boomed. She flinched in surprise as she slowly turned to look at a man with dyed black hair and dark green eyes. He looked familiar, but she couldn’t quite place how she knew him. The way he looked at her made her skin crawl. He slid into the couch beside her, making her scoot closer to Charlie. How did he even get past the rope and into the VIP area? “Do I know you?” she asked timidly. He grinned a sloppy drunken smile as he slapped her knee, leaving his hand there in the process. She went to move it off of her, but found that Charlie had beat her to it. “Of course you know me,” he said in her ear. She flinched away from him and found that she was being lifted and placed on the other side of Charlie. “This is the VIP area, and I’m certain you don’t have the right pass to be over here, so why don’t you leave?” Charlie said calmly, though Christelle could tell that he was furious. The man in question started laughing suddenly for no apparent reason as he started to stand. “What the bloody hell was that about, Christelle?” Ginny murmured as he started walking away. Christelle glanced at him once more, shrugging, before her view was blocked by a standing Charlie with his wand out. “Charlie!” Christelle yelled as a flash of red light left his wand and hit the man square in the back. “Charlie, contain yourself, man! So, he hit on your girlfriend, it doesn’t give you the right to hex him!” Harry yelled as he tried to hold Charlie back while Bill went to check on the guy. “Harry, you don’t understand, it’s him!” Charlie growled as he tried to get Harry off of him. So, yeahhh, I know it's kind of a crappy and pathetic way of stumbling upon the guy but when I wrote it, it's about the only thing I could come up with, apart from the one where Charlie was kidnapped and Christelle had to follow Bobby's exact instructions to get him back, but that one was just too complicated... Sorry if I disappointed you guys on the "epic" way they were supposed to find him... :erm: What do you think? :glomp: |
Hello Emily. I think it was great! It's a perfect way to show true love from Charlie to Christelle. Of course he would be the one to recognize Bobby. He made it his business to assure himself that she would be in his life for the rest of his life. I think because Charlie didn't know the guy as well as Christelle, he was able to recognize Bobby's profile (psycho) through his disguise. And plus, Charlie was the last one to see him. (When he hurt him at the Burrow) He probably recognized his evil laugh. Anyway, I think it's perfectly romantic for Charlie to save Christelle. Maybe the other way would have been more adventurous but, it would have been full of misery and heartache for Christelle, and I really don't think she was up to it. She was strong,, but, I think she was worn down too much for the story to be believable for her to find Charlie, and rescue him. So, I think this was the perfect way. It was wonderful. One of my favorite parts: Quote:
Great post Emily. I'll be watching for your next.:glomp: |
I think u did a fantastic job emily don't worry :) ur story is great :) |
You're a worrier!!! This was really good, it was a stumble rather than a dramatic find but brilliant none the less:D K xx |
Hey Em, Sorry I haven't replied earlier, but to cut the loing story short, the laptop has been confiscated and I'm only allowed on at Weekends :( (or in school if I'm being sneeky :P) At first I couldn't get my description around Bobby, my mond went blank and I thought it was HARRY! I'm so daft! Anyhoo, It was a great post, and I look forward to hearing more. Soph xx |
The Durmstrang Ring SPOILER!!: Comments Here's the rest of that post, that I cut off for dramatic effect, though it wasn't that dramatic-y ^_^ “Who? Wait—you mean to tell me that that’s him? It doesn’t even look like him!” Harry argued. “Get off me and I’ll prove it,” Charlie hissed. Harry reluctantly let go of Charlie and Charlie didn’t waste a second. Bill was just helping him to his feet as Charlie roughly grabbed him by his shirt collar and slammed him into the nearest wall. The club’s security guards were on their way over to them as Christelle tried to pull Charlie away. “No, look! His hair is died and he used a spell on his eye color and some of his other features.” Charlie turned to look at the rest of them as they came closer. Christelle backed away from them. She could already see that it was Bobby by the way he was looking at her. She was in a sort of daze for even finding him. Well technically, he found them. She should have known he would have come here. This is where they always went if they went out. But he had always said he hated the place because he couldn’t use magic. So, she figured he’d never go there again if they weren’t together and she wasn’t forcing him. It was the perfect hiding place. Her eyes jumped to him momentarily, taking in his drunken state—she knew it would be the downfall of him one day. Hermione stepped forward slightly, much to Ron’s protest as he tried to cover her from Bobby. “SpeRevelio!” Hermione exclaimed and a jet of pink light came from the tip of her wand, hitting Bobby in the forehead. His features immediately started changing as Christelle kept backing away. “Wow, Charlie, I guess you were right,” Harry muttered as he stepped around Hermione and Ginny. Other Aurors, who had been watching the club, were now walking forward quickly to take Bobby to Azkaban. “Bobby Tatum, you are under arrest,” Harry said seriously. As Charlie reluctantly let go of the man, he turned to face Christelle. She looked exactly how she always looked when she woke up from one of her nightmares. Christelle was dry sobbing as she stared on in horror. She locked eyes with Charlie as she kept stumbling backwards. Christelle had backed right into a table and lost her footing, but before she could fall, Charlie caught her, and led her away from the joke of a man. “I want to kill him,” Charlie whispered. “Me too,” Christelle admitted. Charlie kissed her forehead as they watched Kingsley and a handful of Aurors drag Bobby somewhere that they could Apparate him away to Azkaban. “How did you know it was him?” she whispered. “When he, er, attacked me at the Burrow, he had on his Durmstrang ring with his name encircling it… I guess he forgot to mask it tonight because he’s still wearing it… Anyway, that was the ring that scraped some of my skin—you know that sharp side of it…” Charlie flinched slightly as if reliving that night and Christelle hugged him more closely to her. The club’s security guards made their way toward the small group that lingered, one who knew Christelle personally. Though this club was a Muggle club, the owner was a wizard, a Muggleborn to be more precise, and so the security guards were all wizards. They knew everything that was going on. “You all right, Christelle?” John asked as he eyed Charlie. “Yeah, I’m fine,” she said in a small voice. “Let me know if you need anything else,” John said as he searched her face. “Thanks, Johnny,” she murmured. She turned around and gingerly took Charlie’s face in her hands. “Are you okay?” he asked huskily as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. She nodded slowly at the thought that she didn’t have to keep looking over her shoulder and grinned. She stared up into his eyes, her heart melting at his touch. “Yeah, let’s just go home,” she whispered. She turned to Ginny and the others, who all had faces mixed with amusement and worry. “We’re going home to celebrate this happy night… Wipe the smirk off your face, Gin, I didn’t mean it like that. I’ll see you at practice tomorrow?” Christelle asked as she hugged Ginny. “Sure, and, er, try to not be late,” she said with an evil grin. Christelle blushed madly as she took Charlie’s hand and led him outside to an empty alley where they could Apparate. What do you think? :glomp: Oh, and I just realized that there are only like three posts left, maybe four if I decide to add something in... |
Hahahaha nice :)....wait! Does this mean that this was ur final chapter? U can't just end it like that! That's not fair Emily I just got out of the hospital and ur already teasing me, grrr! ;) loved the post, love you :) !Jesse! |

Hello Emily. Great post. I'm still wondering how Bobby was able to know where Christelle was at all the time, how he got into the Burrow. Will we find out in the end? Regardless; it was a great post and I enjoyed reading it. I'll be watching for the next. :glomp: |

Giselle New post ^_^ “Charlie! Where are you taking me?” Christelle screamed in his ear over the rumble of the motorcycle engine. “You’ll see,” he yelled back with a chuckle. Christelle screamed again as Charlie made the motorcycle dip down. She hated him for making her get on this again; he knew she hated it. To make her point, she dug her nails into the skin around his naval and he flinched slightly, causing a smirk from her before she screamed again. They slowly started to descend and landed softly on the grounds of his work site. He climbed off the bike first and wrenched up his shirt to access the damage. “Bloody Hell, Chris! Was this really necessary?” he asked angrily. Her smirk grew as she smoothed her shirt. “Was that dip in the air really necessary?” she asked innocently. “Actually, was the bike even necessary? We could have Apparated.” “Yeah, well, your reaction is funny,” he laughed and she glared at him. “What exactly are we doing here?” she asked in frustration. “We’re here to see Jasmine,” he sighed. Christelle perked up instantly as she kissed Charlie’s cheek. “I haven’t seen her in weeks! Has she grown a lot since I’ve last seen her?” she asked in excitement. “Not much, but a little,” Charlie replied as he grabbed her hand and led her toward a brick building. There were very loud noises coming from the building as they crept through the door. Christelle smiled widely as she looked around at all of the younger dragons in their separate cages. “Who’s been taking care of her? You?” Christelle asked with a smile as they walked down the aisle of cages. “Not exactly… I’ve been busy trying to get you out of the room and what not, so Giselle’s been taking care of her for you,” he said as he tightened his grip on her hand. This little motion didn’t go unnoticed by Christelle. “Is there something wrong, Charlie?” Christelle asked as her brow furrowed. “Nope,” he answered a little too quickly. Christelle kept silent as they walked through another set of doors. Christelle stopped in her tracks. A brunette woman was patting Jasmine’s neck lovingly as she fed her. The woman had a slender body and curly hair. And when she turned to smile at Charlie, not Christelle and Charlie, but just Charlie, the woman looked exotically gorgeous with her tan body and faint freckles. Charlie smiled back a little as jealousy crept through Christelle’s blood. She let go of his hand to walk forward and take over the woman’s position. Giselle looked a little put out, but Christelle didn’t mind. “Charlie, I was wondering when you’d get here!” Giselle smiled flirtatiously as Charlie watched Christelle with her dragon. “Giselle, this is Christelle, my girlfriend,” he said whilst walking over toward the dragon too. Giselle’s eyes hardened slightly before she smiled warmly at the blonde. “Of course, it’s nice to meet you,” Giselle said with a smile. Christelle smiled in return, but didn’t say anything. “I’ve been taking good care of Jasmine while you’ve been out,” Giselle continued. Christelle ignored the implications that seemed to hang between them as she kissed her dragon’s snout. Thankfully, Jasmine didn’t breathe a lot of fire, and usually never at Christelle or Charlie. But she did hope that Giselle’s story wasn’t exactly the same. “Well, thanks, but your services are no longer needed now that I’m back.” Christelle turned to send Giselle a bright smile before turning and kissing Charlie on the cheek. “Thanks for bringing me here,” she whispered. “I knew you missed her,” he whispered back. He kissed her forehead as Giselle stomped away. “Now, what was that about?” Christelle asked sharply as she stepped out of Charlie’s embrace. “What do you mean?” “Don’t act oblivious, Charlie! You know what I’m talking about! What’s the story?” Christelle placed her hands on her hips and narrowed her eyes. “She’s an ex-girlfriend from Hogwarts. She was hired to work here a couple weeks ago. I honestly didn’t think it’d matter, or I would have told you,” Charlie replied with a sigh. As he studied her pink cheeks, averted eyes, and fidgeting hands, his eyes widened. “Are you jealous?” he asked with a cocky grin. Christelle turned to Jasmine and started petting her neck again as the dragon ate from her little bucket. Charlie started guffawing as he grabbed her wrist and spun her around to face him. “You have nothing to be jealous about, I promise,” he grinned as he kissed her quickly. “Good to know,” she mumbled as she turned back to her dragon. “Come on, you can’t honestly think something’s still going on between Elle and me,” he said with a slight smile as he hugged her from behind. “Oh, it’s Elle now, is it?” Christelle muttered and Charlie snickered a little. “So, we have history, it doesn’t mean she’s a part of my future, love… That belongs to you,” he said gently. “I guess I am being a bit ridiculous…” Charlie nodded slowly as he kissed her cheek. “Shall we get to dinner?” Charlie asked with a smile. “So soon?” Christelle asked with a pout as she stared at Jasmine. “We’ll come back,” Charlie smiled. “Fine,” Christelle mumbled. “But, I’ll meet you at the Burrow because there’s no way I’m getting back on your motorcycle.” Christelle crossed her arms against her chest and narrowed her eyes at him. “Don’t be difficult, just ride back with me,” he murmured as he kissed her pursing lips. “I don’t think so, love,” Christelle laughed. And with that, she left with a POP. “Bill!” Christelle said quickly as she took him by the elbow and towed him to the backyard. “What the hell, Chris?” Bill asked with amusement as she finally let him go. “Look, I need to ask you something, and it needed to be before Charlie got here, okay?” she said defensively. Bill gave a short nod as he studied her. She looked fidgety and nervous. Christelle took a deep breath before saying in a rush, “What do you know about Charlie and Giselle’s relationship?” She emphasized the last word bitterly as she thought about the vivacious woman she now felt she had to compete against. She held her breath as she waited for Bill to answer her question, but instead of answering her, he started howling in laughter. “Bill!” she scolded as she clicked her tongue angrily. “Sorry, sorry,” he said through chuckles. “You just look so jealous,” he added with a snicker. She sent him a scathing glare and his chuckles died in his throat. “Just answer the question,” Christelle replied. “Please,” she added. “They dated on and off during sixth and seventh year. Evidently she cheated on him, so he broke it off for good before they graduated,” Bill answered. “Why? And how did you find out about her anyway? He doesn’t still have that picture in his nightstand, does he?” Bill asked incredulously before clapping a hand to his mouth upon seeing Christelle’s shocked and surprised expression. “H-he has a picture of her in his nightstand?” Christelle asked quietly as tears pooled in her eyes. “No, probably not… He did when they dated, but he probably got rid of it after she cheated on him. Damn it! I shouldn’t have said anything! Look, Chris, he loves you. A lot. He loves you more than anyone he’s ever been with before. I can tell. Giselle’s staying in his past, trust me,” Bill said as he put a hand on her shoulder, squeezed it, and then walked back toward the Burrow. What do you think? :glomp: |
What do I think? Well, I think that Elle isn't in hs past, she will keep creeping up:P Great posty, so close to the end but you're still bringing new characters in:D K xx |
