The Semi Sequel Quote:
So, I guess I'll post a little of what little I have written...? And remember, I'm rewinding a bit to where the first arrive at the Burrow. ^_^ “Do you need help with dinner, Mum?” Christelle inquired as she helped Abigail out of her jacket. Charlie took it from her to go hang up as he shepherded his daughter toward the living room. “I think I’ve just about got it, dear. Why don’t you go join the others in the living room?” Molly said with a smile as she hugged her daughter-in-law. Christelle gave a small smile as she walked into the living room. She watched as Abigail and James played Exploding Snap with their Uncle George and Cousin Teddy before she went to join Charlie on the couch. “Would you relax? You’re freaking Abigail out,” Charlie murmured as he slipped his arm around her shoulders. “It’s a bit hard to relax when I’m expecting an attack,” she hissed back at him. “Hey, listen to me. He’s not coming near any of you guys. Besides, look at how many Aurors we have just in case,” Charlie said quietly as he cupped her cheek. Christelle’s eyes travelled around the room. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Bill, Fleur, Kingsley, McGonagall, Hagrid, Percy, George, and Angelina were all around. Christelle’s eyes fell on her daughter as she watched her laughing along with James and Teddy from something George said. Charlie followed her line of sight before gently kissing her shoulder and subtly touching her stomach. Christelle snapped out of her train of thought and grabbed his hand. “Charlie,” she hissed as she did a swipe of the room to make sure nobody else saw. “Nobody saw. Calm down,” Charlie chuckled. Nobody knew about her new pregnancy except for the two of them. Christelle caught Ginny’s narrowed eyes, and Christelle tried to look as innocent as she could. “What are you two hiding?” Ginny asked loudly, causing everyone in the room to look their way. “Nothing,” Christelle replied steadily as she mentally slapped Charlie upside the head. “Stop staring at my wife like that, Gin. We aren’t hiding anything,” Charlie spoke up. Ginny turned her I-don’t-believe-you, narrowed eyes on him then and Charlie grinned easily. “Muma, what is Aunt Ginny talking about?” Abigail asked in a whisper as she walked toward her parents. Christelle smiled down at her as Abigail started to climb up her father’s legs. Charlie chortled quietly as he picked her up, planting her on his lap snugly. “Your Aunt Ginny is just talking nonsense,” Christelle replied tersely. Christelle turned to glare at her sister-in-law before kissing Abigail’s forehead. “Ah, Chris, Charlie! I’m glad you finally made it. Now, where is my little angel?” Arthur asked with a bright smile as his gaze went around the entire room, never once looking at Abigail. Abigail started bouncing on Charlie’s lap as she laughed at her Papa. “I’m right here!” she giggled. Everyone laughed lightly as Arthur went to pick her up. “Of course you are,” he cooed as he hugged her tightly and sat down next to George, Teddy, and James. Christelle glanced at Charlie for a minute and motioned with her head to the kitchen. He smirked as he grabbed her hand and led her away. “Hey, mum, Charlie and I wanted to talk to you and Dad alone for a minute…” Christelle announced with a smile as she sat down at the counter and Charlie went to pick at some food. Molly swatted his hand away as he chuckled. “So, what is it you need to tell me?” Molly asked as she kept stirring over the oven. “Well, mum, maybe we should get Dad, and—” Christelle began before Arthur and Abigail bounced into the room. “Muma, why do you call Grandma, Mum?” Abigail asked as she hugged her mother’s legs. “Well, sweetie, she’s always been a mother to me, so after I married your father, I started calling her Mum,” Christelle said patiently as she pushed Abigail’s hair out of her eyes. “But what about your Mum, Muma?” Abigail asked with round eyes. Christelle tensed slightly as she glanced at Charlie. “Er, well, er, Ab-bigail—” Christelle stuttered. “Abigail, sweetie, why don’t you go play with James and Teddy and let the adults talk for a while, hmm?” Charlie said sweetly in an attempt to save his wife. “But Daddy!” she protested. “We’ll continue this later, sweetie pie, promise,” Charlie smiled as he took her hand and tugged her toward the door to the other room. “Promise?” she whispered. “I promise,” he replied with a kiss on the forehead before returning back to the kitchen. “Thank you,” Christelle murmured. “We knew she’d ask about them at some point,” Charlie sighed. “Have you talked to your parents at all?” Molly asked as she waved her spoon in the air. “Heck no. They want nothing to do with me, and I want nothing to do with them,” Christelle muttered as she rubbed at her temples. Charlie rubbed her shoulders as he kissed her hair. “Do they know about Abigail, though? I mean, they might change their minds; they may have changed period,” Molly continued. “Doubtful,” she bit out. “Dinner’s almost ready; can you guys make sure everybody’s cleaned up?” Molly inquired as she turned back to her soup with pursed lips. “Yeah, sure,” Christelle said in a deflated voice as she passed Arthur. “C’mon, Charlie, we’ll tell them later,” Christelle mumbled and Charlie reluctantly followed her out the door. What do you think? :glomp: |

Hello Emily. I love how Arthur is still the same easy going guy he has always been. And I think Sophie is correct. He has had a rough life with going through two wizard wars. Now seeing him so happy with his granddaughter just makes me feel so happy for him. Molly on the other hand.... Quote:

Oh! And I wonder why Ginny would be such a loud mouth about something she could see was obviously a secret. I would have thought Ginny being her best friend would have been finding an excuse to get Christelle into another room to try and pry out the news without anyone around. But, I'm sure you have a reason for this. Emily, I enjoyed the beginning of your sequal, and you did very well writing the scene out to make it feel like I was really there. Good job. I'll be watching for your next.:glomp: |
I liked this Emily!:D Well done :P I love Abigail! She's a wee sweetie :) K xx |

He definitely didn't forget. New post time ^_^ Oh, and you'll probably recognize most of it. ;) “Dinner’s almost ready, guys,” Christelle said bluntly as she sat down on the couch while Ron disappeared into the kitchen, no doubt to eat. “I’ll get the munchkins cleaned up,” George said with a laugh as he led James and Abigail to the bathroom down the hall. “That includes you, Teddy,” George grinned and Teddy turned to glare at him slightly before following. “Everything okay, Chris?” Hermione asked with an upturned eyebrow. Christelle looked toward Charlie before she smiled. “Peachy,” she said sarcastically. “Oh, c’mon! You know she means well,” Charlie said gently as he kissed her forehead. “Right,” Christelle muttered as she plopped down on the sofa. The kids, accompanied by George, walked back into the room, so Christelle put on a smile as Charlie sat beside her. “Charlie! I’m out of the bread rolls! Ron can’t keep his hands off them! Can you run to the village and grab some more?” Molly yelled into the living room. Everyone glanced at Ron, whose mouth was full. Hermione rolled her eyes as Ginny looked disgusted and Christelle laughed quietly. “Sure, mum!” Charlie answered. “I’ll go with you,” Christelle murmured as they headed for the door. Charlie kissed the top of Abigail’s hair as Christelle caressed her cheek while they passed. Hand in hand, they walked down to the village of Ottery St. Catchpole. “When are we going to tell my parents?” Charlie asked after minutes of silent walking. “I don’t know, Charlie,” Christelle answered quietly with an exasperated sigh. “What’s wrong?” he asked immediately. “It’s just…what she said, about my parents…” “Don’t let it get to you. She just doesn’t fully understand the situation, that’s all.” “Yeah, but what if she’s right? What if they have changed? And then I’m a bad daughter for keeping them out of their granddaughter’s life!” she exclaimed anxiously, her pitch getting higher and higher. “Sweetie, stop stressing over this,” Charlie said with a smile as he stopped her in her tracks. “Do you honestly believe they’ve changed?” he asked as he cupped her cheek in his hand. She leaned into his touch, sighing as she closed her eyes. She shook her head slightly, sadly. “Then stop thinking about it so much, love,” he whispered as he kissed the tip of her nose affectionately. “Mmkay,” she sighed as they continued walking. They had made a silent agreement to walk to the village rather than Apparate, because one, it was a partial Muggle village, and two, they needed to talk about another matter entirely. They started walking by the little shops and restraints. “Maybe he’s forgotten,” Charlie murmured after a little while. It seemed their thoughts were in synch, except with a twist. “You remember what he said. There’s no way that man has forgotten us. We need to talk to Harry and Ron and see what they say about all this. We’ll have to be careful, especially with Abigail,” Christelle ranted. Charlie stopped them in their tracks again and kissed her lips. “Nobody is going to touch either of my girls,” he whispered against her lips. “Or my son,” he said with a grin as he touched Christelle’s stomach lovingly. “It could be a girl,” she teased. “Nah, I have a feeling it’s a boy,” he replied with a wolfish grin. Christelle chuckled as Charlie tugged her into his arms again and kissed her slowly. She sighed slightly, not even caring that they were now in the middle of the village with a lot of passerby’s watching them. She kissed him back before breaking apart to a howl of laughter. They slowly turned to watch as Bobby Tatum threw his head back and laughed madly. When he saw that they had noticed him, he laughed even more. Christelle gasped for breath, but none seemed to be coming to her as she panicked. Charlie drew her behind him protectively as he drew his wand. “He definitely didn’t forget,” Charlie muttered as the pathetic excuse for a man continued laughing, sauntering toward them slowly. “Well, well, well, is it true love, Christy? I’m a little surprised you two are still together, you see. I would have figured you would have gotten bored, red… Every other man did, didn’t we boys?” Bobby purred. *looks at you innocently* Hehe, we'll leave it there. What do you think? :glomp: |

The 'Boys' New post ^_^ “Well, well, well, is it true love, Christy? I’m a little surprised you two are still together, you see. I would have figured you would have gotten bored, red… Every other man did, didn’t we boys?” Bobby purred. Christelle and Charlie froze. What did he mean, boys? Some of the supposed passerby’s were now walking toward them, trapping them in the center. “Charlie,” Christelle choked out as she grabbed at his hand. Charlie only recognized one other man aside from Bobby—Jared, the guy from the bar from a long time ago. But Christelle—Christelle recognized them all. And some were even her Muggle ex’s. He had been out for maybe hours, so how the hell could he have gotten them all together, found Charlie and Christelle, and put the whole damn thing together? Charlie and Christelle were stumped, but they didn’t have a lot of time to think on it, as the Wizards from the “opposing team” drew their wands, and the Muggles took out their bats and knives they were hiding under their jackets. “Don’t bother trying to Apparate, Christy. I’ve asked around, and I know that you have a kid. Apparate away, and I’ll find her first,” Bobby threatened. “I’ll hold them back, you go home and get Harry and Kingsley,” Charlie muttered so only she could hear. “I’m not leaving you here alone,” she hissed back at him. “There’s no time for arguments, Chris,” Charlie ground out. “W-we can take them,” she stuttered as she pulled her wand out. Charlie did the same, pointing his at Bobby. “Chris, please, for our son,” he whispered to her. She shook her head furiously as tears rolled down her cheeks. “Not without you,” she whispered back. Christelle gasped as a jet of green light flew toward her and Charlie from Bobby’s direction, and then another from Jared’s. “What was that?” Charlie grunted as he leaned into Christelle for support. His cheeks had deep cuts into them, currently dripping with blood and his mouth was swollen and bruised from being hit with a bat. He was limping too, and could hardly stand without Christelle’s support. There was a bit of blood seeping through Charlie’s shirt in his abdomen, chest, and hip area, and she knew that he had been stabbed. Let’s just say he was in horrible shape. And Christelle? The worst thing she got was a few cuts and bruises because Charlie made sure to jump in front of everything for her. And the other guys? Two Muggles were unconscious and Jared and another Muggle were dead, from Bobby’s horribly aimed curses. Christelle had aimed a very nice Sectumsempra Bobby’s way, grabbed Charlie’s hand, and Apparated them out of there. But she didn’t have the strength to really Apparate them far, and she didn’t think Charlie had any either. So, here they were, hobbling down the path that would lead back to the Burrow, and without the bread rolls Molly had asked for. “It was a Patronus message,” Christelle answered as she tried to keep them up straight; Charlie was a heavy boy. “I don’t think it wise for Abigail to see us like this,” he whispered. “Which is why I told them to take the kids to a bedroom,” Christelle answered. She was panting from the effort as they took a second to catch their breaths. “We can’t stop… They may be following us,” Charlie breathed out as he clutched to his side. Christelle nodded before flicking her wrist and making a stretcher appear. “Get on,” she said bluntly and he had the nerve to chuckle slightly. She clicked her tongue as he settled on to it. She flicked her wand again and Charlie was soon hovering over the ground, leading the way back to the house. What do you think? :glomp: Sorry is you were expecting some huge battle scene; I'm not that good at fight scenes... ^_^ |
:( I hope they're going to be ok... stupid Bobby! Pams! |

Yes, we're pregnant. New post time? ^_^ “How long does it take for them to grab the bloody rolls?” Ron muttered with a glare. “It’s your fault they had to leave in the first place, Ronald,” Hermione said with a sigh. “So, it shouldn’t take long for them to Apparate there, get the rolls, and Apparate back,” Ron mumbled. “They walked,” Ginny stated and Ron started muttering under his breath about being hungry. “Ron’s right though; they’ve still been gone longer than what it would normally take to walk there and back,” Harry said as he walked over to the window to stare out at the grounds. “Mumma!” Abigail yelled as she pointed at a white swirl that slowly turned to form into an Abraxan. Everyone stared at the Patronus as Christelle’s voice filled the air. “Take the kids to a bedroom. Bobby didn’t forget us like we hoped. He brought friends. Be there soon.” As the form dispersed, Abigail ran to the window Harry had been looking out of. “Bloody Hell,” Ron muttered from behind her as they watched Christelle come into view with Charlie lying on a stretcher. “Ooooh! Uncle Ron, you have to put a sickle in the cursing jar,” Abigail whispered with round eyes as she stared up at him. “Now isn’t the time, Abigail,” Ron muttered to her. “Abi, why don’t you go upstairs with your cousins?” Hermione said sweetly as she bent down to her level. “No, I want to wait for Mummy and Daddy!” she said as she crossed her arms over her chest and jutted her lip out. “Why don’t we call you when they’re inside?” Hermione asked calmly. “No!” Abigail yelled. “Do not yell at your Aunt like that,” Ron replied as his face started turning red. “I’m going to go meet them,” Harry said quietly as he made for the door, Bill and some of the others right behind him. “I want to come, too!” Abigail yelled as she ran for the door. George caught her around the middle and threw her over his shoulder. “You can wait for them in the bedroom,” George said gently as she struggled in his grasp. “It’s for your own good, sweetie. Your Mum wants you to stay in your bedroom until after they get here.” “Is Daddy hurt?” she whispered as she relaxed in his arms. Her chin was quivering and tears framed her freckled face. “Your Daddy’s going to be fine,” George promised as he set her down in the bedroom and kissed her forehead. Abigail immediately turned and ran to her pregnant Aunt Angelina, climbing onto her lap. Angelina rocked the little girl soothingly as George left the room to go meet up with the others. Christelle was being led in by Hermione and Ginny as the boys brought Charlie in. They set him on the couch and Christelle sat on the edge, beside him. “What exactly happened?” George asked. “They surrounded us; all of them,” Christelle whispered as she grabbed Charlie’s hand while Molly and Hermione fixed him up. “What do you mean—all of them?” Ron asked in confusion. “All of my ex’s,” Christelle whispered as she eyed her lap. “Hey, stop it,” Charlie said suddenly as he looked up into her face. “This is not your fault,” he whispered as he tried to caress her cheek, but failing due to the pain it brought on. He grunted as Molly jabbed at one of his wounds with a wand. “You wouldn’t be in this much pain if you would have let me fight,” Christelle said angrily. “I’m not going to risk you and the baby, Christelle! I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if you two and Abigail ever got hurt!” Charlie seethed. Christelle had tears pooling in her eyes as she kissed his palm. “I’m sorry,” she whispered. “I know you did it because you love us,” she whispered against his hand as she kissed it again. “Why do you keep saying us and you two and baby?” Ron asked, perplexed. “Oh, put two and two together, Ron!” Ginny said angrily, before squealing, “They’re pregnant!” Christelle and Charlie chuckled, despite the attack they had just gone through. “Yes, we’re pregnant,” Charlie said with a grin as Molly finished bandaging his wounds and then hugged the both of them, grinning. “Well, why didn’t you tell us sooner? That’s splendid!” Arthur exclaimed as he went to give Christelle a peck on the cheek. “We tried to tell you earlier,” Christelle murmured, remembering the earlier conversation about her parents. What do you think? :glomp: |
Hello Emily. Very nice. I'm glad they made it back to the Burrow safely. I love how you wrote little Abigail. And Ron has stayed in chartacter grumbling about being hungry and them taking too long. One thing I need to ask. Andf I feel really ignorant, but what is this? Quote:
