Chapter Fifty - Eight (Part three)

“Wow” Said Ginny and Harry walking down the two steps and into the large cream and gold living room, she walked to the left and he followed as Madam Pomfrey and Willow went to investigate the three bedrooms.
“Harry, this will be yours” Madam Pomfrey pointed to the door on the left and he nodded
“This will be the Professors” she continued pointing to the door in the middle”
Before looking to Ginny and pointing to the door on the right. “This will be Ginny’s”
Harry and Ginny passed a glance at each other a flash of a smile passing across there faces unnoticed by the nurse or teacher.

They were only trying to keep them close as possible to each other but further away at the same time, did they know it wasn’t going to work.

“Madam Pomfrey” said Ginny sitting down on one of the large cream suede couches “I don’t think me sleeping in the night and him in the day, will make a difference, we’re both going to have the dreams still”
“But there are hours of peaceful sleep if one is awake while the other sleeps – otherwise you both just have those nightmares the whole time”
Ginny nodded and Harry spoke up “So who’s the lucky person who gets to listen to everything that’s happened to me, I really want a descent night sleep and I bet Ginny does too”
“Well I think it’s time for you too sleep Harry and Ginny to do some work, then tonight there will be someone coming to talk to you” said Willow,
“So it won’t be you?”
“No, it will be Remus; I’m just here to supervise you when Madam Pomfrey can’t”
“Oh, ok” Harry shrugged,
“You’ll not get any visitors apart from Ron and Hermione, be wary there won’t be much time in between your sleeping arrangements for you to talk”
“But we’re what keep’s each other sane, how this is going to work if we can’t even talk”
“There will be time in between just not a lot, we want you too both have as much peaceful sleep as possible since there are only two day’s left until you face the Wizengamot”
They nodded and Harry spoke “Well I suppose it’s good night then” he grinned and stood up, Ginny nodded along with Willow and Poppy. The nurse handed him a bottle of potion “It’s just a shame I only woke up a couple of hours ago” he grinned leaned down to kiss Ginny and wandered off into the bedroom pointed out to him.

Ginny sighed and Willow bade her goodbyes before heading off to teach. Poppy sat opposite her smiling “Once he’s off to sleep if you sit with him while you work it might make you both feel better” She smiled “The more sound sleep you get the better you’ll both be, and like you said he sleeps soundly if your there, and tonight I’ll let him sit by you and will see if it works ok?”
Ginny nodded and smiled gratefully. “I’ll get some work then” she went into her room closed the door and began to cry silently. They weren’t ever going to have peace, the things that had brought them together were beginning to tear them apart, it just wasn’t fair that because they loved each other so much that this had to happen. After a few minutes she remembered that the nurse might wonder what she was doing. She hastily wiped her eyes on her sleeve, grabbed some homework from her bag along with ink and quills when she heard the nurse call out for her “Ginny!” she never called students there first names, something was wrong.
She dropped everything and ran. Harry was tossing and turning under the covers, his eyes were shut and his skin was pale white and burning hot but he was speaking.
“Ginny no, don’t please, you can’t be gone, and you promised you’d never leave me, so you can’t be dead, you just can’t” he murmured. She stood frozen at the door; she didn’t notice the spilled indigo ink down the front of her white shirt. She pulled away from the fear of seeing him like that, and lay down beside him wrapping his body in her arms whispering “I’m here Harry, I’m here and I’m not going anywhere”
He didn’t stop writhing in her arms until she kissed his cheeks, holding onto him more tightly then before. He settled slowly, the words becoming fainter and more slurred with time and she rocked back and forth. Madam Pomfrey watched not knowing what to do only that she felt like she was intruding upon them. She slide out of the door quietly, Ginny wasn’t even aware of anything as her eyes focused solely on Harry until they joined his in being closed and she ended up fast asleep still holding on to him.

Harry was lost in his nightmare cradling her corpse in his arms, the red hair he brushed away from her face crying. “Ginny no, don’t please, you can’t be gone, and you promised you’d never leave me, so you can’t be dead, you just can’t” then it stopped. He didn’t know what had happened, but everything around him faded away and he stepped into the void holding on to something. He looked down as his hand, it was holding on to someone else’s his eyes travelled up the body and he smiled as her. She was there with him, she wasn’t dead, and he could feel the softness of her skin in his hand, smell her perfume so clearly and see the brightness in her eyes that shone whenever she looked at him.

Harry had been right thought Poppy; he couldn’t sleep without Ginny beside him because she held the key to his fears. It lay under her skin and the moment her skin touched his, the link was complete and he was free, they could sleep peacefully, it just had to be together which there was no doubt her parents and the Headmistress would have a problem with.

Ohhh sooo ok I love you all and now I need your Help, I need a name.

I need a name for Willow and Calebs little girl - first and middle names... oh and a last name for Caleb, the baby and Willow's soon to be name when they eventually marry lol. post any suggestions here, please and thankyou lol

Nehelenia? How the hell did you came up with that?

I like it and it fits the whole thing with the strange names all the wizards and witches have (except Harry...huh...first time I noticed that.....I wonder if it was made that way by purpose...probably...)

ok i like all the names hehe so i thought i'd give you some options ! i think we'll go with Vaughn as a surname, seems to go with Willow, Caleb and any of the girls names... plus u all seem to like it lol x

I think that it should include Rose because of Willow's name... Their both plants!!! See... It links so well!

I chose Nehelenia Rose because it just sounds so pretty!

Yeah I totally like Nehelenia too, it's so awesome and extra-ordinary (even though Angie came up with it)!!!! And I agree with Abi I think it should go with Rose...Nehelenia Rose Vaughn....sounds great, right?

Chapter Fifty Nine

There was a knock at the door and Ginny awoke, remembering what had happened, where she was and wondering who was at the door. “Hold on” she called out, sitting up and letting go of Harry’s still sleeping form. She straightened out her top, ran a hand through her hair and then called out again “Ok”.

Madam Pomfrey entered and spoke “You have some visitors, it’s dinnertime but I think we need to leave Harry to see if he can sleep by himself for a bit”
“But-” Ginny was about to say that she had seen him this morning just as well as Ginny had when her mothers voice calling out to her from the living area. She stopped talking nodded and followed the nurse out to Hermione, Ron and Mrs Weasley. Madam Pomfrey and Hermione bore similar looks of concern, Ron held one of guilt and Molly’s was inadequately veiled anger.
“Ginny”
“Mum” she replied sitting on the cream couch directly opposite her and beside Hermione and Ron.
“You have some explaining to do young lady and so does Harry”
“We’re fine; it’s nothing mum, just a little dream sharing”
“Not from what I’ve been told”
Ginny stared at Ron’s face as his ears went red. “How could you say anything, you don’t even know what’s been going on”
He remained quiet along with Madam Pomfrey and Hermione as Molly spoke again. “Don’t blame your brother for his concern”
“I’ll blame him for sticking his nose in it whenever he can, jumping to the wrong conclusions about things and then making things worse when he tries to clean up his own mess” She replied staring at him and not bothering to look at her mother.
“Ginny, both he and the headmistress informed me of what has been happening and I’m quite sure I’m filled in on all of the facts, but why don’t you tell me in case they have missed something”
“I trust Professor McGonagall; I just don’t trust my brother”
“With good reason” he said mumbling to himself. Ginny nodded and gestured at him so there mother could see even he knew what he’d done was a mistake on his part.
Molly sighed “Look Ginny, I know you think you know what’s best; I thought the same at your age but-”
“But what, were you told about Harry this morning? How he could see me dying in his sleep?”
“No”
“Well then, it was better when no one else knew, I could have sorted this out with Madam Pomfrey and the Professor, we would have been fine, we still are”
“You don’t look fine Ginerva Weasley” said her mother firmly “Which is why I’m taking you home today”
“YOU CANT” She stood up shouting “YOU CAN’T DO THAT, HARRY NEEDS ME, NO MATTER HOW FAR AWAY YOU TAKE US FROM EACH OTHER THE SAME THING WILL HAPPEN UNLESS…” Then it dawned on her they had slept peacefully all morning, because they’d been together. She turned to a nodding Madam Pomfrey “You can’t take me away because this only doesn’t happen when we sleep together – not like that Ronald” she said as he cringed “This morning, we fell asleep next to each other and we were fine, you have to let us stay together or this will only get worse”
Molly looked to Madam Pomfrey who nodded in agreement with Ginny
“It’s in there skin, I’ve only heard of this happening a few times in our history. It was recorded years ago, first in the time before the Hogwarts founders, a young man by the name of Ignatius and his betrothed, his childhood sweetheart. It was said they shared everything, there dreams, there thoughts so much so they lived as one - Not literally dear” she added as Ginny looked at her in surprise. “Only in spirit, so much so when they died it was together, in each others arms at the end of a very long life even by our terms. I remember being told the tale as a child and now after doing some research with Professor Jacobs we believe that’s what’s happened. Harry is a very special boy and your daughter is very lucky to be loved by him”
Ginny sank into her chair and took a deep breath “I’ll tell Harry” she looked up at the room staring at her “I’ll go now so you can talk about us when we’re not in the room” she added bitterly and got up opening the door to see Harry standing getting changed, he jumped in surprise “HEY! Oh, I thought you’d be Madam Pomfrey or someone” he grinned and she giggled. He was stood in just his boxers with jeans in hand.
“Can you imagine if it was, she’d run out screaming” She closed the door hearing them talk in hushed voices.
“That bad looking half naked, am I?”
“Not to me” she smiled moving closer and forgetting what she was going to tell him “But you’re a little less then half” her hand ran absentmindedly down his bare chest as she looked into his eyes and he leaned his head into kiss her. But then everything came back to her and she leapt back from him
“There outside, I completely forgot, you made me forget, put some clothes on!”
He laughed and she scowled and crossed her arms “Don’t do that ever again”
“What not wear clothes in front of you?” he laughed yanking his t-shirt over his head,
“You can do that as much as you want, just don’t distract me” she chuckled watching as he pulled on his jeans, but then he stopped midway through doing them up and looked at her,
“What were you just thinking?”
She looked at his eyes this time her quick daydream ending “Nothing” her face blushed, she’d imagined them sharing a rather passionate encounter on there own private island.
He dismissed her denial “It involved me, you and a fair bit of sand and ocean”
Her mouth gaped slightly, it was happening already, probably because she knew now.
“Yeh that’s what I wanted to tell you about”
“What that I can now see your daydreams?” he grinned
“Exactly – Madam Pomfrey figured out why we share dreams, pain and stuff” she sat on the bed as he sat beside her “There out there talking about it, we’re freakish even in wizarding terms, like you and the parsel tongue”
“Freakish” he laughed “Come on Gin, I mean I thought this was only because I’m sh*t scared of what’s going to happen when we go to court in two days”
“Were connected more strongly then that, you said yourself you died to save me when we first slept together, in that we kind of cemented the deal, your bound to me in life unless you decide you don’t love me anymore”
She shifted her gaze from him and looked at the floor, has he stayed silent thinking everything over until she said ‘unless you decide you don’t love me anymore’ his head jerked “Gin don’t ever consider that – me and you, we’re one of a kind and nothings going to change that, I’d love you even if you ended up as a brain in a jar they’d be no one else”
“Don’t be so sure, if it happens I wouldn’t mind”
“Well I would” he grinned and kissed her lips briefly “But I’m never going to let anything happen to you, I’ve told you before and I’ll tell you again, if I had my way you’d never be apart from me but to use the toilet”
“Good job you don’t have your way” she giggled and he kissed her again lingering with a smile. He only pulled away at the sound of a knock from the door. He sighed but kept his arm round Ginny, calling out “Come in” to whomever was at the door and allowing another quick kiss as Mrs Weasley entered.
When he saw who it was he nearly jumped away but Ginny was holding on to him, her arms round his middle and the side of her face at his chest so he couldn’t. He held her back and instead just spoke to Molly. “Mrs Weasley”
“Harry” she smiled politely but not really kindly more as if she couldn’t help but speak to him.
“Mum, really, this is not his fault, how do you expect to stop loving each other for the sake of a few dreams” Ginny replied noticing her mothers tone,
“It more then just a few dreams Ginny”
“So what if it is, you know that being kidnapped, possessed or having everyone you love killed by Voldemort doesn’t compare so we’ll deal with this easily” Replied Ginny, Harry’s heart stopped in his chest, he’d never thought they’d have to justify them being together anymore, she was letting them live together, letting them sleep together.
“Mrs Weasley, I promise not to let anything happen to her, if I could control this I would-”
“You made that promise before Harry and we all know what happened then”
“I nearly lost my whole world; I’m not going to make that mistake again” Said Harry, he held onto her tighter and she rubbed his back with her palm soothingly.
“You can’t keep protecting me mum, not when I have Harry, you heard Madam Pomfrey – ‘Long lives, even by our terms’ please don’t try to stop us, not again”
“Just be careful”
“We our, don’t doubt us Molly, please” Said Harry, surprised he’d called her, her first name – but both her and Arthur had tried to get him to call him them for years. He hoped that got the message through and it seemed it did.
“Ginny, Harry” She said with a nod, accepting this was difficult but it would be done. She walked out quietly.
“We weren’t too harsh on her right?” said Ginny mumbling as she looked up to him.
“No, she needs to understand, we’re not kids anymore, anything we do we do together, ok?” he looked at her smiling
“Yes” she smiled back “Just not using the toilet and showers”
“I wouldn’t rule out showers just yet” he whispered and ushered her blushing face with him out to the living room as she saw the image in his mind.

Remus sat talking with Harry and Ginny. Madam Pomfrey had eventually left them alone for an hour before Remus came and Hermione and Ron had left with Molly soon after the confrontation.
“So this link, never been seen before in several hundred years, are you scared?”
“More like fascinated by it, its weird, seeing what she thinks about things without having to ask”
“Hey it’s weird for me too, you thinking about your broom, the next quidditch match, me and when we last -”she caught herself, it was getting too easy to talk around people about private things when everyone wanted to know everything that had gone on between them.
Remus let a small knowing smile escape that disappeared as quickly as it came and he glanced at Harry’s cringing face.
“Gin” Harry whispered nudging her arm with his elbow “You trying to make this even more embarrassing or do you want me to reveal your thoughts that were similar, the next quidditch match, me, Ron and Hermione – oh and that day dream”
“Oi!” she laughed “Your not embarrassing us, just Remus” She was right, he was shifting in his seat waiting for them to finish, his cheeks slightly reddened.
“Ok so not scared, quite enjoying it, it seems” Said Remus, grinning “Enjoying it quite a bit” he looked at them as they turned to each other smiled and then came back to him.
“So these dreams, the trial, seeing Ginny dead, what does that do to you Harry, what do you feel?”
“Empty, they just take away everything positive like Dementors”
Remus questioned, “And Ginny?”
“It’s different, seeing myself dead, but it is a hollow feeling, you don’t want to see or feel that kind of pain, not in anyone. Especially if you love them”
“I guess you both want to know why now, why not anyone else and what can be done to help, but I’m sorry to say I don’t know anything about it other then what I’ve been told by Madam Pomfrey and my own research I did today, which I regret to say there wasn’t much to be found”
“Did you find anything new?”
“Only that it takes time to adjust, it won’t even go away unless, well one of you dies or this relationship ends” they looked at him in surprise he could say that but they let him finish the sentence “Which I have every confidence it won’t, because I know you both and I know that you won’t let anything get in the way, not even death”

Aww, I'm glad to see things are looking up for them but I can imagine a connection like that would be quite embaressing. Post more soon!

PAMS!!!! I can't believe that Ron would be so horrible as to owl his mother about it. Wait...yes I can, Ron's a git. Hopefully it's a stage and he grows out of it...quickly. PAMS!!
