Dudddeee i missed alot. but, as i said in Angie's story, i have much time today and nothing to do with it.

Anyways. The last few chapters were really really really good. its sounds like the ministry is becoming more and more corrupted everyday. tsk tsk. Fudge is not a nice charcacter. Not at all. i hope the trial thing gets worked out.

Chapter Fifty – Seven

Harry was asleep again, when Ginny returned that evening, she didn’t want him to know and Madam Pomfrey had set up a bed in the office for her.

“Thank you” she sighed sitting on the edge in her pyjamas and the small bottle in her hand.
“It’s perfectly alright Miss Weasley; I’m here to look after my patients”
Ginny smiled before lying down properly and pulling the quilt up over her. She drank from the bottle, the nurse taking it from her hand watching the girl lie back on the pillows and her eyes closed as the dreams began.

It was ok at first; thought the nurse, Ginny didn’t seem to move and the came the shouting and lashing out.

She was in his dreams seeing them as him and feeling his pain as he wept over her dead body was not something pleasant at all. She was lying cradled in his arms, her hair spilling over them at his elbows and her face peaceful and still. She was limp and cold against his skin and she felt it tingle as it touched his warm flesh. There tears fell on her body but she was with him in his head and wanted to tell him she was fine, she was alive really – but couldn’t. Then came the next fear, she watched through Harry’s eyes as he stood before the court, all eyes were on him accusingly.
“Mr Potter you have been found guilty for the murder of Bellatrix Lestrange, you are sentenced to be executed at dawn”
“No” they shouted together “You can’t”
“Save it for the executioner – take him down guards” he looked as Draco Malfoy with Crabbe and Goyle grabbed him taking him outside to McNair, he saw the O’Malley twins laughing with Lucious and Narsissa as he was made to kneel down.
He felt clawed hands push his head on to the block and Fenrir Grey back appeared leaning to whisper in his ear
“Any last words Potter” he closed his eyes and shook his head.
“Let’s do it then” said McNair,
Harry and Ginny heard the swish of the axe as it fell each breath catching in there throats as they waited for the impact. It didn’t arrive.

There eyes opened and standing up they came face to face with Voldemort, he gestured with his wand and then hands where upon them, the masked faces of death eaters trying to grab them hold on to him as they punched and hit him as well as using there wands. There arms moved as one trying to push them away, kicking and punching, pushing and shoving until there where too many of them and they where forced to curl up in a ball on the floor. She was him, the hands had stopped and together they got up slowly, opening there eyes looking around, she hadn’t seen this place before but Harry had, she felt it, this was where he’d gone those times he’d been possessed or forced out of his own body.

It was dark and cold and empty in this big room until the figure emerged laughing, it was shrewd and high pitched and sent a shiver down there joint spines.
“Mr Potter so nice to see you again”
The words came with out hesitation “Your dead, me and Ginny, we killed you, you’re not real”
“As long as I remain in your memory I am only to you and everyone else who has felt pain at my hands”
“So that’s why I’m here as well then potty” said a female voice as Bellatrix came out of the shadows “Little Harry Potter, trapped in his own head”
“Shut it Bella” they replied,
“Now, Now, Potter. That’s no way to speak to a lady”
“You can remind me of that when there’s a lady present” they snapped back in reply
“Wee potty’s got a mouth on him, I think we should teach him a lesson my Lord”
“I think you maybe right dear Bella – give me your wand” They watched as Bellatrix handed it over to him, his long white fingers appearing at the sleeve of his jet black robes and taking the wand before pointing it at them “This should be very painful, I just wish I hadn’t have killed your dear blood traitor so she could see it”

She felt as Harry’s heart began to race and the pain of the loss he was feeling but it wasn’t true she wasn’t dead, this was just a nightmare. She wanted to wake up when she saw the wand being raised, to pull her and Harry out of the nightmare before it was too late, and tell him she loved him and she wasn’t going to leave him. But she couldn’t the potion was to strong to break though and she could only feel the pain and scream with him as the spell hit there chest.

Ginny woke up blinking in the light as Madam Pomfrey moved to see her “Miss Weasley”
“How was it, did it happen again?”
“Yes, you remember the dream?”
Ginny nodded in reply, “Its was the same as last nights only there was another bit added in, about the trial”
“You will sleep here again tonight, and a stronger sleeping draught”
“Did we both do the lashing out and shouting?”
“Yes – he’s not awake yet though, he had a stronger potion then you the same as what I will give you tonight and he will have something weaker so he will wake first and you can have some peaceful sleep”
“Ok, I’m going to back up to my dorm, I’ll be back down when he wakes up, will you tell him I’ll see him at lunch – I’ve got to do something’s before class this morning”

She settled down in the office again that evening, took the potion with the smiling face of Madam Pomfrey watching over her. It happened again, the same nightmare, the same shouting, hitting out and things and then the piercing scream at the end.

Harry woke up suddenly, that dream, ‘were was Ginny, he had to speak to Ginny, to see if she was ok’ He got out of the bed shaking and put on his glasses, and picked up his wand, he had to find her make sure she was safe. The door was locked and the voice came out of the darkness,
“Mr Potter, please return to your bed”
“Ginny, I’ve got to find Ginny”
“Why?”
“She’s been hurt, I know she has… that nightmare” he rubbed his forehead “It was so real”
“But that’s exactly what it was a nightmare” She moved forward lighting her wand so they could see each other “Miss Weasley is safe”
“How do you know that? She could have been taken and know one would know”
“I’m quite sure she’s fine”
“How, let me out so I can go and check”
“Mr Potter, she is fine because she is currently asleep in my office”
“What – wait a minute – why is she in there, let me talk to her”
“She won’t wake, you can come and see for yourself” He ran over to her and opened the door his wand shining light around the room, she was there, and he breathed a sigh of relief. “Why won’t she wake up?”
“She has been seeing what you see Harry, she shares your dreams”
“Why didn’t she tell me?” he sat by the bed stroking her cheek with his fingertips “I haven’t remembered my dreams since coming to the hospital wing, I’ve only remembered the one I’ve just woken up from”
“You do not remember them, she does. She has been falling asleep at night while you sleep here and seeing what you see. She feels your pain because you’re not well and because you are troubled about going to court and facing what happened.”
“She’s told you more then she told me, why didn’t she tell me what was happening?”
“She didn’t want to worry you further, but after what I’ve seen tonight and last night”
“What did you see, what happened?”
“You both were lashing about in your sleep and shouting”
“Fighting off death eaters”
“And moaning, crying and screaming”
“She died, he killed her” he started to cry himself and lay his head on the pillow beside hers watching her unmoving face, “Then he killed me”
“She obviously felt it too; the last sound you both made before you woke up was quite a loud scream”
He shook his head “I don’t want to hurt her, I love her so why is this happening to us”
“That would be the reason” she placed a hand on his shoulder “She is under quite a strong sleeping draught and will not wake for a few more hours”
“I’m not going back to sleep, not if this is what it does”
“It’s only just six O’clock in the morning, I will leave you here I have something to sort out with the head mistress, and will return shortly. Do not leave the hospital wing”
“Do Hermione and Ron know what’s been happening?”He sat up wiping his eyes before holding on to Ginny’s hand,
“Only the Headmistress and I know”
“I don’t want them to know yet” He never took his eyes of Ginny’s face.
She nodded and left closing the door.
“I’m so sorry Ginny, this wasn’t supposed to happen, I’m not supposed to hurt you not like this, not when I don’t even know I’m doing it, why didn’t you tell me?” he said whispering to her, but her eyes remained shut and she didn’t stir.

“Minerva”
“Poppy, what has gone on?”
“The link is defiantly there” she sighed and then continued “The nightmares– I’ve never seen anything like it two, three nights in a row and Harry, he knows now, he woke up looking for her, the poor soul, thought she had been killed but it was just the dream”
The headmistress shook her head “We have to inform her parents, this can’t go on for another night, what can be done”
“Nothing, it has to resolve its self, once Harry is back to normal it will stop”
“Harry will never be normal Poppy”
“But he will be back to the way he was, the same young man we all spent Christmas day with”
“When this so called trial is over?”
“Yes, as soon as he had nothing to worry about-”
“His newts”
“Ah well, they may or may not have an effect. But in Harry’s case I think this is all Vold – sorry I still have a problem with saying it”
“Voldemort” Said the Headmistress placing her clasped together hands on the desk,
“Voldemort related” Said Poppy sighing,
“I see, and what would be best for them both now”
“They seem to be better when there around each other, I wanted to ask for use of the visitor’s quarters for them, she needs to sleep at night and he needs to sleep in the day time, they can’t sleep at the same time at least not for now anyway”
“There school work will suffer”
“Once this is over, and I give it a week more, then they should be fine. Miss Granger and Miss Lovegood have been taking extra notes and homework for there friends and plan to work with them, they do not know the circumstances fully, just that there is a problem with sleep”
“I’ll grant you permission; they must be supervised, I’ll assign Willow, she knows them well”
She nodded “Thank you Minerva”
“Thank you for taking care of the students Poppy”

Ginny woke up to Harry sitting in the chair beside the bed, he looked hurt and angry.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” he spoke straight away,
“I – I didn’t want to worry you anymore then you are already, I’m fine with it, I’m coping with it”
“Never mind coping with it Ginny, you should have told me, I don’t want to hurt you without even knowing about it”
“It’s not like that really Harry”
“So that’s why you’ve been knocked out the last hour then?”
“Don’t – Please” she sat up tears falling
“I woke up thinking you were dead, I remember the dream tonight. What kind of horrible things have I been putting you though the last two nights?”
“The same, it’s the same dream, just last night there was a bit about the trial added from when I told you”
“You could have told me this was going on, I’m not so broken I couldn’t have done something, I don’t want to hurt you ever but your letting me do it for my sake when you’re the only thing I care about, the only person I truly love and it’s hurting me to think that you didn’t tell me and stop me because of that” He shook his head closing his eyes before opening them and talking again
“It’s you I’m worried about, you I’m scarred of losing and you I don’t want to get damaged by this mess”
“Please don’t be angry with me, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, I just knew that anymore for you to worry about would only make you sicker then you are already”
He got up sitting on the bed beside her and holding her tightly “I’m not angry at you, I’m angry at me for doing this too you, it shouldn’t be happening”
“Madam Pomfrey says it’s because of how strongly we’re linked”
“But why now, why not when Voldemort was still here?”
“All your pain was his, this is ours” she replied weakly holding on to him tightly, she didn’t ever want to let him go, like didn’t want to have to sleep but she knew she had too at some point.
“Because you seem so fine when your awake, when you sleep” she looked up at him as she spoke “Or when you don’t sleep because your scared – everything that’s happened manifests in your dreams, that’s where you live out your worse fears”
“And mine happens to be you being killed and Voldemort’s return which sucks for you” replied Harry,
“It will pass – both McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey say so, you just have to get better”
“But there’s nothing wrong with me, I mean I don’t feel sick”
“No but you look sick to everyone else, you haven’t looked in a mirror have you?” She sighed “You may not feel it but everyone else can see it and you must be I’ll otherwise this wouldn’t be happening”
“Great” he sighed “Where is there a mirror then?”
“Here” she gave him her compact from the beside table “It’s an ordinary mirror unless I call Hermione”
He opened it and gasped “Bloody hell”
He was pale white tinged with green and red rings round his eyes; he looked like he hadn’t slept for a week when the reality was different. His hair was at all angles from being squashed into a pillow for going on three days – to him he looked like the living dead so that’s what everyone else saw as well.
“See what I mean – and Harry you really need to get a shower” she pulled away smiling, having just realised how bad he smelt.
“Huh – yeh” he sniffed his t-shirt “I’ll go now”

“You can go in five minutes when we’ve explained something’s” said Madam Pomfrey walking in, the heavily pregnant Willow behind her smiling.
“Oh erm Ok, hi Willow – sorry professor” he added smiling.
Willow sat on a chair smiling back “Hey Harry”
And Madam Pomfrey began to speak,
“It seems we have come up with a solution for now, and until the trial -” Harry sighed “- Is over. With the headmistress’s permission, you have the use of the guest quarters until you are well. This will keep you out off the eye of the rest of the students during this time and will help us execute the plan to get you both back to full health”
“Plan?” said Ginny,
“Harry will sleep in the day time; you will sleep at night, that way you both avoid-”
“It won’t work like that, I’ll still see it, we both will now but it just won’t be at the same time” Said Ginny interrupting
“We want to help you sort this out and so we need you too talk about it rather then just you telling Ginny Harry” said Willow, “You have to tell other people what you’ve been through, clear the air and your thoughts so when it comes to sleeping you can do it peacefully”
“So the trial – it’s in the daytime how are we working out sleep for that”
“I’m going too” said Ginny speaking up again “Don’t try and stop me” she said turning to Harry as he made to object.
“It looks as though Ginny, Hermione and Ron will be called to speak anyway” Said Willow “So will Caleb, me and some of the order because of what happened at Malfoy manor”
“Fine, so were all on trial then” he shook his head “This is ridiculous, they should be thanking us all not deciding whether to send us to prison or not”
“Unfortunately the ministry sometimes doesn’t follow the people’s views”
“Then its time for a new minister, its pretty obvious Rufus Scrimgeour is as useful as Fudge”
“Well once people find out” she took out a copy of the prophet with Harry’s face on the front “They won’t be happy – this is today’s edition”
“ I wouldn’t read it if I were you if you want the truth Luna’s be working for her dad at the Quibbler all summer and has her own column” Said Ginny, “She’s got a front page story today as well”
“Do I have to be a poster boy all of a sudden?”
“You might as well, you are the reason were all fighting the ministry” Said Willow in reply to Harry,
“Great” He shrugged
“Hey, it’s not the first time you’ve been on the front page and it probably won’t be the last” Smiled Ginny, nudging his shoulder with her own, “At least this time it’s for something good, its too fight to keep you free”
“What do you mean by free, is anyone going to explain to be the purpose of this trial besides just as a show for the ministry?”
“The thing is Harry” said Willow trying to chose her words carefully “The ministry has the power to put you in Azkaban because you killed her – they don’t have to get caught in the details, the possession and everything else – and because of that the trial is to justify there reasoning to put you in there”
“Hold on, so I’m going to be telling them why I killed a psycho when she tried to kill me and has probably killed several hundred people herself whereas I’ve killed what? Two!”
“That’s about the gist of it” replied Willow, looking to him and then to Ginny who instinctively tried to comfort Harry. He sighed taking Ginny’s hand when she offered it and leant against her shoulder feeling her fingers from her other hand in his hair. Madam Pomfrey who had remained silent and listened stood up and spoke “House elves will move both your possessions from your dorms and to the guest quarters now and when I have collected the relevant potions and the rest of the pupils are in the great hall for breakfast we will escort you up there” she turned to leave Professor Jacobs following her out.

Harry hugged her and let go “I’m going to get a shower”
She nodded and stood up “I’m going to tell Hermione”
“Just Hermione” He questioned
“And Ronald I suppose” She finished and he nodded in response before smiling weakly and heading to the bathroom.

That was great, Lils! i loved it. They're so interconnected, its crazy. I mean, their dreams are even the same! its kinda sweet...

Chapter Fifty - Eight (Part One)

Ginny walked down the stairs feeling better after her shower and joined the couple waiting on the couch for her watching as the last people left the common room. They thought she’d been in her dorm just like any other night not that she’d joined Harry in the thrashing about in the hospital wing. She sighed and sat down opposite them wishing Harry was well enough to be there with her.
“When are you going to see Harry, we thought we might go over at lunch” said Hermione as Ron nodded beside her,
“Yeh well that’s going to be a problem” she shifted in her seat slightly “You see-”
Ron cut her off “What’s happened, is he ok?”
“Yeh it’s just there’s something else” she twisted her hands in her lap nervously. There was no doubt that Ron would blame Harry for this and they they’d end up falling out again but it had to be done, her parents knew and Ron would be even angrier if he thought he’d been left out.
“What?” said Ron, his thoughts were all over the place until he stopped at one thing but it refused to pass his lips, he wouldn’t believe… no, that couldn’t be it.
“Well you know how much me and Harry love each other and that your our best friends” she paused trying to find the right words, “And you know we tell you everything cause we both love you guy’s, not matter how much you annoy us” she let her gaze linger on Ron. Hermione waited patiently, it was obviously hard for Ginny to explain but Ron couldn’t wait,
“What is it Gin, you’re not pregnant are you?”
“Ron!” said Hermione loudly, but she had been considering it as well so went quiet as Ginny’s head jerked up quickly, her face pale but angry “No, I’m not” she snapped back

Chapter Fifty - Eight (Part Two)

“This is to do with the link me and Harry share – I’ve been having his nightmares, having to take sleeping draughts and sleeping in the hospital wing office the past three days, because these dreams are violent” she said in one breath so as not to be interrupted.
Ron’s ears went from white to red in a manner of seconds and Hermione sat quietly thinking before replying “So these nightmares, they started when he went to the hospital wing”
Ginny nodded “Just before, that’s why that first night here I didn’t sleep. And they changed when I told him about the trial,”
“And Harry?” said Ron trying to stop the slight shade of anger showing on his face.
“He didn’t remember the dreams at all until last night; he woke up looking for me this morning thinking I was dead according to Madam Pomfrey”
“Why didn’t you tell us sooner?” said Ron his tone beginning to get accusing now,
“So you could act how you are and blame Harry, I don’t think so, Harry was better off when he didn’t know either, its not going to help him get better anymore then you knowing about it will”
“Act like what?!” said Ron outraged as he crossed his arms against his chest
“Like that!” she sighed “You just need another reason for you and Harry to fall out to be happy”
“No, for once I’m concerned for my little sister’s wellbeing, oh no that’s just how I was every other time he’s done something to you”
“He’s not doing this; we are, to each other. It’s how we feel about each other that’s done this not Voldemort or Harry” she said her voice raised but not yet a shout as she began to get angrier.
“Could you just not like him so much?”
“It’s not like a tap Ron, I can’t turn off my feelings for him when I feel like it”
“It sounded better in my head”
“Just don’t talk, for Merlin’s sake and my own then”
“Ginny! I just”
“Shut up!”
Hermione stood up “Ginny can I talk to you alone” time to get control over the situation.
“Sure” She replied shaking her head when Ron said,
“Hey!”
“Ronald please” said Hermione and he backed down, folded his arms against his chest tighter and shuffled further back into his seat.
“Thank you, you know I love you right” said Hermione smiling as she leaned down to kiss his scowling cheek before following Ginny outside the portrait hole.

“So what did you-”Hermione cut Ginny off squeezing her into a tight hug, Ginny started to cry against her friends shoulder, “Oh Hermione” she sobbed, and Hermione just hugged her silently before pulling away “You looked like you needed that” she smiled,
“It’s been horrid, these last few day’s have been bad enough but adding Ron to it all” Ginny sighed “He dreams of me dying, I see myself as him, lying in his arms all cold and – and gone” she choked back tears over the words, “He on trial or he’s being killed by Voldemort” she let an involuntary shiver pass over her at his name, it had been that way since the kidnapping and she looked into those crimson eyes in Harry’s body. She shook away the thought “I don’t see why this has to happen, but until he’s well again it’s not going to go away”
“Then I’ll be there with you and Harry till it does, so will Ron and he’ll keep his mouth shut”
Ginny smiled slightly, the tears started to slow and she wiped her face on her sleeve “There moving us to the guest quarters, now” she sighed “We not allowed to see anyone but you two, the rest of the school is just to think that we’ve been hidden away just until the trial, to avoid the attention”
“I’m getting the prophet and quibbler this morning no doubt they’ll have something to say”
“He’s on the front page of both, we’ve already seen them” she sighed “I have to go, can you try to talk sense into Ron and I’ll see you both at lunch in our quarters since we can’t leave them” she smiled a little said the password and leaned in “See you later Ronald” she shouted and walked off as he came running out and Hermione grabbed his arm to stop him from going after her “Don’t, please, I’ll explain what’s going on ok”
“Ok” he nodded, took a deep breath “You can let go now, im calm”
“I don’t think I will” she smiled, stood on her tiptoes and kissed him before leading him back inside “Now let me explain, and don’t interrupt, unless you want your mum to have to take you to Mungo’s in a matchstick box”

Yay! Another post and a lovely one at that. And the dedication to me was enough to brighten my day. See I stepped on a a plug which was after being left at school by my so called 'friend'. And I just found out I have a 101.4 temp which never happens unless I have the flu. But Anyway I LOVED The post. You are great at this! Please add more soon.
