Hehe ok im going to explain about Harry for Angie lol and anyone else who doesn't understand my mad writing / thinking... Harry, after being dead and trapped in the darkness for several hours now doesn't want to sleep for fear of not waking up. Everytime he closes his eyes he feels scared of not being able to open them after the whole experience he's had with darkness and the void he's been trapped in twice already. He doesnt want to leave Ginny and somehow his brain has twigged leaving her as going to sleep because of what happened when he closed his eyes passing out and when Voldie killed him. He doesn't want to die again but thats what he now associates sleeping with - He's a bit messed up for a little bit, but it will all come good lol

Ok I got it now...sorry I'll read more carefully next time. I hope though that Harry will get passed this, it doesn't seem like him to be afraid of something like that...

LOL! i ramble all the time... anyways welcome Amelia and there will be a post soon! i promise im writing at i write this and i will be up tonight my time or tomorow morning.. i don't know what your times are, i hate time differences they mess everything up... im in australia so i can only guess lol but yes there will be a post soon and when i say soon i mean the next few hours !

there is quite a bit of story to go leading up the party and then after so u haven't come in to late into it lol

i'd better get writing that and not this...

Chapter Forty – Two

“Harry will have his own room here for tonight for a change” smiled Molly, “The twins have a house of there own now and Bill and Fleur, Charlie and Percy won’t be back until Christmas Eve”
“Thanks Mrs Weasley” Harry replied behind Ginny as they walked up the stairs. Ginny opened the door and led him inside “This is it, I think you’ll be glad to get away from Ron’s snoring” She closed the door and he sat on the bed.
“Definitely, but it is only for one night, do you want to come with me to Grimmald place tomorrow and make a start, I’ll have Kreacher come as well”
“I said I would, didn’t I” she smiled and sat down on his bed beside him.
“You did” He smiled and kissed her softly as there was a knock, “Yeh?” shouted Harry,
“Mum wants Ginny”
“I’ll be down in a minute” she replied and moved to kiss Harry again, the door opened Ron standing there “She wants you now” Ginny’s face fell and her eyes closed as she faced Harry. She opened then and then turned to Ron, “I said I’ll be down in a minute”
“And she said she wants you now” Ron replied. Ginny stood up “we’ll talk later” she smiled, to Harry who nodded, pushing past Ron as he made his way into the room. The door closed behind her and Ron sat on a box facing Harry.

“Harry, are you going to sleep at some point, she will realise eventually, and Ginny’s not stupid” Said Ron striking up conversation to break the awkward silence that had been in between them all the way home.
“I know she’s not stupid Ron, I’ll try tonight, when everyone else sleeps”
“How about now before you collapse in a heap” He muttered under his breath but Harry still heard it,
“I’ve managed all of today, I don’t think me in heap will come anytime soon. I’m fine; I can cope without sleep for a few days”
“Sure you can that’s why you’re all snappy”
“I’m not snappy; I swear you’re channelling Hermione these days because you’re starting to sound like her”
“Well someone has to be the voice of reason when she’s not here” Ron replied sharply standing up.
“You’re just picking at my problems because you’re having some of your own” Said Harry standing up as well.
“I don’t have any problems”
“You’re annoyed at her for leaving you here with me and Gin, while she goes back to playing the muggle and doesn’t want to eat your face for a week”
Ron leapt forward hitting Harry hard in the face, Harry hit back feeling his fist hit Ron jaw as they fought on the floor.

After a few moments of punching and grabbing, Ron lashed out again hitting Harry in the chest, Harry’s whole body closed in on its self. His chest was one fire and he yelled out in pain. Ron jumped back as Harry curled up on the floor. He was shaking and pale, he felt so sick, his whole body was aching. Ron got up just as Ginny burst through the door, “What’s going on in here – HARRY!” She knelt down next to him
“What happened what’s wrong with you?” she looked to Harry and then up to Ron who was pale. “We had a fight, I didn’t mean to… I don’t know, I hit his chest… he’s just in pain I think…”
“JUST IN PAIN, CAUSE THAT’S OK IS IT?” She shouted at him.
“It wasn’t my fault; he was being a git about me and Hermione”
She lifted up his shirt carefully and saw the massive bruise covering most of his chest. She gasped in surprise as did Ron when he saw the extent of the spells damage.
“It’s from the killing curse and you the fool wacked him right on it”
“It’s huge; it would be hard not too”
“That’s not the point Ron” she said calmly pulled his shirt back down looking into his eyes “Why didn’t you tell me it was this bad?”
Ron replied before he could answer “There’s another thing he hasn’t told you”
“SHUT IT RON” Harry said sitting up “its fine, it’s just another bruise, and it can’t be healed by magic I just have to give it time” He wiped his bleeding nose on his sleeve as Ron rubbed his jaw,
“Are you going to tell her or am I?” Said Ron ignoring Harry as he stared at him angrily,
“Tell me what?” said Ginny looking between them,
“Nothing” said Harry standing up, “He’s being an idiot” The sick feeling was leaving him, and his body seemed to have recovered from the shock quickly it surprised him.
“You know full well what I’m talking about Potter” Said Ron angrily not even raising his voice,
“Back to surnames are we? Then tell her! Shout it from the rooftops for all I care!” He crossed his arms watching Ron’s face carefully,
“Tell me what?” Ginny repeated getting angrier by the second,
“Harry hasn’t been sleeping at all, he lied he hasn’t slept once since you brought him back from the dead because he’s scared to!”
“Scared of what?” Ginny turned to Harry putting her hands on his folded arms at his chest,
“That if I close my eyes I won’t see you again, that if I sleep I won’t wake up” he moved back and her hands fell away as he sat on the bed “Ron now you’ve had your moment can you leave me and Gin alone so I can explain properly without your bull”
Ron didn’t nod or reply but just skulked away out of the room in silence has Ginny sat beside Harry.

“Why didn’t you tell me? I would have understood im not Ron” She said folding her arms angrily but keeping her voice calm.
“I don’t want you to worry about me”
“I worry about you regardless of the situation, I know you can look after your self but all the time you don’t let anyone else in or you fight on your own I want to help, im here to help you”
“I don’t want to leave you again, I can’t, I won’t” Harry couldn’t look into her eyes and stared at his feet.
“I know that Harry and I know you won’t but not sleeping isn’t the answer, if you take the sleeping draught and I sit here with you will you sleep?”
“I- I don’t know”
She lifted his head up to meet her eyes, “Please Harry, for me”
He didn’t know how to reply but picked up the small vile holding it in his hand. He lay back on the pillows and she lay beside him, “I’m not going anywhere, I promise” she said smiling slightly at him.

He pulled out the cork and brought the bottle to his lips but then moved it way. She put her hand around his still holding the vile and he moved it back up again, “It will be ok, you don’t need to be scared, I’m here nothing will take you away from me ever again”

He opened his mouth slightly and tilted his head back feeling the cool liquid slide down his throat. He put the bottle on the floor and she held him laying his head on her collar bone and shoulder. He felt so tired; he felt his eyes drooping and her fingertips stroking his cheek tenderly. His eyes closed but he fought and kept them open so he could say something “Thank-”
“I told you not to say that” she smiled putting a finger on his lips, “Sleep Harry”

He felt his eyelids close, he saw the darkness falling on him seeping in and stealing all light from his eyes. He wanted to take it back, to see the daylight again but he couldn’t it was too late and he fell into a dreamless sleep.

Ginny sat there taking in his breathing as he slept. She loved him but Merlin he could be so stubborn sometimes. There was nothing for him to worry about, the war was over, they had a life to build together and she was going to be worried about him whether she told him or not.
She leant down to his forehead kissing it softly, before moving her self so she lay next to him. An hour passed and Ron knocked walking in to see her still awake and watching him.

“How did you get him to sleep, stun him with his own wand?”
“No Ronald, I have a better technique then you, its called persuasion”
“Well you can go now; if he’s sleeping”
“I promised him I wouldn’t leave him, you’ll have to leave me alone or levitate him into my bedroom” Said Ginny her eyes still on Harry,

Ron headed out the door as Ginny laughed quietly to herself. Ron was so predictable and so easy to wind up. She thought of Ron and how he had held her back from running after him, he was trying to protect her but so was Harry. She was a big girl, she can handle things by herself when it came down to it but no matter what she knew Harry and Ron, whether they got on or not, would be there for her. She got up and turned out the light, before laying back down beside him, pulling the quilt over them both and closing her eyes.

Ginny woke up to Harry still beside her. She had moved during the night and so had he, she was lying her back against his chest and his arms were around her the quilt lay on the floor his eyes were still closed.

She moved his arm from her waist to sit up but when he groaned and moved it back she just smiled,
“Harry, come on” she rolled over to face him but he used his arm around her to pull her in closer and his eyes opened. “You promised” he smiled,
“And now your awake I can go” she made to move away again, but he held on,
“Now why would you want to leave me?” he grinned,
She just sighed and smiled
“I maybe awake but it doesn’t mean you have to go”
“Yes it does, I bet you anything Ron’s going to complain that I stayed in here last night and then mum will flip out and then we’ll have to explain about the sleeping draught and why I never asked permission from her to share your bed”
Harry laughed “Ok good point” he let go but grabbed his wand from his trouser pocket, “How about I apparate you down there, then you don’t even have to be seen leaving my room” he smiled
“Sounds good” she said and took his hand. There was a pop and they stood in her room the sun shining through the window. “Now I suppose you want me to go?”
“Yes but first tell me how the sleep was?”
“Good, I feel a lot better, though I can’t take a potion every night” Harry said before hearing footsteps,
“Talk later” he smiled and apparated back to his own room as Ginny grabbed her dressing gown pulling it on to hide her clothes that she still had on from yesterday.
“Ginny are you awake yet?”
“Yes mum” she shouted back grabbing her towel and opening the door, “Just going to get a shower and then I’ll be right down for breakfast” she smiled walked across the hallway and into the bathroom closing the door behind her. She heard Harry talking to Ron in the hallway and shook her listening into the conversation.

“Why are you such a pain when it comes to me and Ginny?”
“I am not; I’m just looking out for her”
“So now, after everything you still don’t trust me with her? I told her everything; I told her why I was scared to fall asleep at night, what more do you want?”
“As a matter of fact, no I don’t trust you, you have her lapping up your crap but you still lie to her, you still had her taken from us and then you let her ‘persuade’ you into sleeping with her”
“Oh it’s back to that is it, that lie you believed from Dean, that it was my fault I was possessed by a nutcase and I still went and saved her and then gave my self up to die for you all”

Ginny went to open the door and stop them when another voice came through “Harry, Ron” it was male, it was familiar but it wasn’t family.

Harry had stepped out from his room in his just put on pyjamas when he was stopped by Ron outside the bathroom. Ron had that look on his face, the look that told him today Ron was peed off at the whole world.
“Harry” he spoke and Harry noticed the tone; he couldn’t wait to get away from him but replied anyway,
“Ronald” He paused for a bit and thought about leaving him then when he changed his mind, “What’s wrong with you now?”
“Who said there was anything wrong?”Ron replied quickly,
“You didn’t have to the look on your face gave it way”
“Why are you such a know it all?”
“Why are you such a pain when it comes to me and Ginny?”
“I am not; I’m just looking out for her”
“So now, after everything you still don’t trust me with her. I told her everything; I told her why I was scared to fall asleep at night, what more do you want?”Harry folded his arms on his chest hoping Ron could have better reason then last time though he felt like beating one out of him at this point.
“As a matter of fact, no I don’t trust you, you have her lapping up your crap but you still lie to her, you still had her taken from us and then you let her ‘persuade’ you into sleeping with her”

“Harry, Ron” said a voice and they looked around to see Lupin standing there “Surely you two can’t be arguing, you should be celebrating”
“I would be if I wasn’t thinking about what he’s doing to my sister”
“Get over your self Ron, why don’t you write to Hermione and complain to her I don’t want to hear it anymore”
“Ron what has Harry done?” Said Lupin calmly a hand on Harry’s shoulder to stop him as he tried to walk away,
“He’s been keeping things from Ginny, lying to her and his friends and then getting away with it”
“MY RELATIONSHIP WITH GINNY IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS” Shouted Harry “I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO EXPLAIN ANYTHING TO YOU, I DON’T HAVE TO HAVE YOUR PERMISSION WHEN YOU’RE A HYPOCRITE, I’VE NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT YOU AND HERMIONE EVEN WHEN ME AND A TEACHER CAUGHT YOU AT IT”

Ron stepped forward drawing his wand in anger Harry did the same as Lupin stepped between them trying to calm them down as Molly apparated in front of them and Ginny came out of the bathroom looking furiously at Ron. Harry lowered his wand, “I’m going now, thank you for letting me stay Mrs Weasley” he walked away shaking off Lupins hand from his shoulder and going up to the room. He grabbed his bag he hadn’t even taken anything out. He could here Ginny shouting Ron shouting back and Molly and Lupin trying to calm the situation. Then he heard running up the stairs and the door opened.

“Harry, I’d thought you’d gone without saying bye”
“Never in a million years Gin” he smiled and walked over to her “I’ll see you later, just come round whenever”
“I will, and I won’t bring him”
“That would be best until Hermione comes back, then I think he’ll be back to normal”
“Harry when will anything normal ever happen in our lives? We’re wizards we’re not normal anyhow”
“I meant normal for Ron” he smiled and hugged her, “Bye Gin”
“Bye Harry”

So Harry slept that was good...but Ron...agrrr!!! After all that happened how can he still thinks that Harry and Ginny aren't made for each other? Bad boy Ronald! Why couldn't you just let them be happy for once?

OK so I heard a question in this...i live in Maryland...in the US...CRAP whats my timezone...ummm...*scrolls down* EASTERN! yeah...or -5 GMT time...whatever...im with you there Timezones just confuse me sooo muchly...

SO now onto the post. Loved it, but Ron really is being a jerk...hes also paranoid...(i think someone needs a little time in the psych ward...

Chapter Forty – Three

He stood in the kitchen taking in his surroundings and felt for once glad to be there. He walked up the stairs looking at the wall paper to be taken down and replaced the pictures to be removed and even walls to knock out if they could. He made his way to what was his room and threw his bag inside. And put Hedwig’s cage on the cupboard in the room next door, it would be easier for her to hunt then. They would need supplies, and new furnishings but something’s could wait until he had completely finished school. He turned around heading back down the corridor and hallways checking out all the other rooms but avoiding Sirius’ completely, he wasn’t going to go in there again, not yet.

He grabbed a towel from his bag and headed to the bathroom. He smiled testing the water with his hand, as old as the house was the plumbing still worked. He came out feeling better and dressed thinking over Ron and Hermione, and what Hermione would say about them fighting if Ron bothered to tell her. Knowing Ron would rather keep his paranoia to himself and that Hermione wouldn’t know unless Ginny told her, and she probably would, wasn’t helping him.

He grabbed a piece of parchment and quill and wrote to her,
“Dear Hermione,
Hope you’re having a great time back at home. Just wanted to let you know, unless Ron’s told you already, we had another fight. We’re not talking and Ron is just as paranoid as before. I’m at Grimmald place now, and keeping busy. Gin’s at the burrow and no doubt she’ll write and tell you how stupid we both are for fighting. I’ll see you at Christmas, tell your parents there invited in case I haven’t said it already, Bye Harry.

He got Hedwig from her cage and sent her off with the letter, and then grabbed his wand and made a start on the work ahead.

It had been a few hours and he had called Kreacher to help out. They had nearly finished cleaning the drawing room when the fire place glowed green and people began stepping out.

“Wotcher Harry”
“Tonks” he smiled giving her a quick hug as Lupin and Ginny followed.
“Come into the kitchen, Kreacher’s just made some tea” Said Harry leading them through and sitting at the table.
“So…”
“Harry, Tonks and I have some news” Said Lupin smiling but looking nervous all the same,
“We were going to tell you earlier but then the whole thing at Malfoy Manor and you’re going to get Ginny… well it got pushed to one side but we’re here to tell you now”
“Tell me what?” Harry knew but he didn’t want to spoil it for them, they looked so happy,
“We’re going to have a baby” said Tonks grinning
“Wow, that’s brilliant, congratulations” he grinned as Ginny hugged Tonks and Lupin,
“Have you told the order?”
“Yes, well I had to because of work” Tonks smiled “That’s why I didn’t go to the manor, they wouldn’t let me and neither would Remus of course” she nudged him with her elbow.
“So you and Professor Jacobs are pregnant together” said Harry
“Yes” said Tonks but something told Harry she didn’t think much of Willow so he didn’t mention it again.

It was eight o’clock in the evening and Harry and Ginny finally sat down at the kitchen table. Lupin and Tonks had left hours earlier and they had finished cleaning the drawing room, dinning room, studies and three bedrooms ready to be painted wallpapered and decorated for Christmas.

Kreacher laid out two plates of food in front of them and left as they started to eat.
“So Harry, what’s next on the list?”
He laughed and replied “Right now sleep, then painting and decorating and we have to get a Christmas tree”
“Sleep sounds fantastic” she grinned swallowing the last of her food, and propping her head up on her hand to look at him. He leaned over and kissed her softly and she placed her arms round his neck deepening the kiss and relaxing in his arms. He lifted her up with him ignoring the pressure on his bruised chest as he carried her into the living room.

He sat down on the couch Ginny on his lap as he kissed her again. She broke away smiling, “I should go home before I get you in trouble”
“You should” he smiled and kissed her again and she didn’t resist and this time her hands moved down his chest pulling his t –shirt over his head.
“You said you were going?”
“I changed my mind” she grinned kissing him passionately “I want to stay here tonight”
“I think that’s a brilliant idea” he laughed returning the kiss and pulling off her t shirt, his hands roaming over her silky skin as she pulled him closer to her. She got up moments later and held out her hand to him, “Harry, will you show me your room?” he stood up and took her hand smiling.

She walked out of the room pulling him with her to the staircase. He followed entranced completely by the way she was in control and the way her body moved as she walked up the stairs.

They approached the door and she turned to face him. She stood still looking into his eyes and ran a hand down his chest, over the bruise, the cuts and scars. “You fought for all of us” she whispered her eyes moving from his to look at his battered body,
“But mostly for you”
“I love you Harry”
“I love you Gin”

She tiptoed up and kissed him he held her with one arm and opened the door with the other. She wrapped her arms round his neck once again letting him carry her inside and close the door with his foot.
