Angel, that actually happened to me. One of my best friends chose someone over me and I thought we were best friends. We're friends again but it will never be the same. Great poems, though. It really connected with me. It actually sounds like a song I once wrote about it.

Do you taste the bitter irony of the life of a bully?

Do you smell what I smell?
Do you smell the rot of self-doubt that you are creating?
Does your voice say that this is your fault?
Is it the reason you willingly killed so many with out taking notice….

Sorry it's been so long everyone. I wrote this one a while ago, when I actually had time to write. *pokes self* It reminded me of Draco alot after just reading it recently, so enjoy!

Yes alot of question marks. Alot of my poems lately question things to no end.

I feel lost in this place, it's been so long, darn uni. These are really good Angel especially the last two, gotta honestly say that i LOVE them from the L to the O passin the V ending the E. o_O yes, homework has finaly cracked me up, lol.

Its always refreshin readin your stuff knowin that im not alone in this stupid train of stupid thoughts (well, at least mine are stupid, yours are good ), I have an observation though; u say in this last one you'll never let us know the real u, and what u really think, but what I think it's that this poems are really revealin, lol. I guess Lety whenever I say "you" I'm talking about the people in my every day life that see the physical part of me. I probably don't give them enough credit, they probably do know more than what I think they do... just it's easier to write when I believe that they don't know anything. It's also easier to say "you" because then I'm not naming names, my readers can relate, and "you" is normally a collection of many people.

I know your busy with school and all, but I really want you to know that I'm soo glad you're still reading. Lots of hugs.

Perfection

What is perfection?
Is it a person, place, or thing?
Once you reach perfection, is it asked of you always?
If not by yourself, but others?

This isn't the poem that I was working on. I wrote this about a month ago and I just found it in a notebook yesterday. It's short, but I like it. Hopefully you do too.

I'm still trying to get the other one figured out. It just doesn't flow like I want it to.

Right, yeah that's the explanation, thanks. To be honest I should have imagined you were referin to the ppl that sees the physical part of you, i was just...dunno, yeah it easier to write "you" than name ppl and it's less pain imagining that nobody knows the real you, or so it is for me.

So, this means that you have never shown your poems to the physical beings that know the physical you indeed?
I guess the answer's no, cause if you do then I serioulsy doubt they havent gone a mile inside of you, or and inch maybe...they'd be too stupid.

Take Me Away


Take me away from this hole
I don’t want to be here anymore
I feel as if I have no control.
Why does it feel like I’ve been here before?


Take me away from this life.
It’s getting to be too much
Why must it always be full of strife?
I’ve lost the sense of touch.


Take me away from the madness.
The screaming the shouting; how can a person think?
I’m being consumed by sadness.
I could be gone within an eye blink.


Take me away; but do I want to be gone forever?
I don’t think I can handle this pain much longer.
I’m sure you feel oh so clever.
I’m growing used to the nuisance of this dagger.

Well this was the poem I've been working on. It still seems to be missing something but it is much better. It's a difficult subject that I'm still not sure about. That's the main reason why I still don't think it's done. I'm not sure what I'm trying to say with this poem. (actually I am, just don't take it seriously anyone. I do not in anyway want to be taken away.)

Actually lety *beams* I have just started letting my poetry out this year. I'm even starting to debate if I'm going to look into a book or not. It all just depends. I probably won't publish them, but it's just a nice day dream sort of thing. I like picking and choose what piece of me that I want to show them. Then see the look of "wow" on their face. I've only showed the mild ones though. They really liked Life. Just wait until I finally show them everything else...

Then realization will kick in. It'll be the long awaited revenge type of feeling. One that I may end up regretting.

Reality of the situation kicks in and he turns and walks away.
Only problem is, he doesn’t forgive himself
Only way to deal is to take it out on someone else.

And he sees what he is doing to another kid. He
Zeros in on the situation and lets the kid go.
Everyone groans in disappointment.
Reality of the choice he just made kicks in.
Only now he will stand by his friends.

This one isn't that great... it seems a little forced, but the main idea behind it is what counts. Thanks for all the comments too!

I didn’t know how much you meant to me until this very moment.
I panicked at the thought of loosing you.
You hold too many secrets, too much of the real me.


The thought of someone finding you,
Or worse reading what you hold inside almost brought me to my knees.
It made me want to take back every stroke of my pen.


It made my mind race for explanations.
You see only you know the real me.
Only you see both sides of this small coin.

You are the only thing that allows me to be who I really want to be.

OMG!! Okay frist I'll talk about this poem then about the up coming ones... If I can control myself.
This poem isn't that much of a poem... pretty much as free verse as you could I get I guess. But I kinda like it and since I'm running out of my supply of new ones... *coughIhavetowritemorecough*... I'll just post it. Maybe some people will be able to relate.

Now for the up coming ones. I'm going to try Holiday themes. I decided this by suggestion from a certain someone and I think it will be a great idea. About how long it will take I do not know. Hopefully not to long... since we're in December now.
