Okay this poem reminds me of Hermione, but then again it reminds me of Murtle. So I guess it's a mix of them both. I hope you all like!

good stuff good stuff... post more. may i offer a little constructive criticism?? to ease the HP writing?? you say the poem 'reminds' you of Hermy or Myrtle, but it's not really 'about' them, is it...?? try to make the poem about the characters next.. just keep thinking along those lines, then sort of fit the characters in there, like molding the poem around the person or persons. i mean, you write great poems.. now, when you write the next one, think of the character that it most relates to and mold it around them.... yeah?? i agree with Padfoot017, you definitely have potential... keep it up!! i love reading your poems!!

Thanks Laieesha and Lety. I'll try that the next time I have time to write. I'm really busy now so I'll definately remember that for the next poem. Hopefully it'll be a whole lot better.

by the way, i was going through all your poems, and i noticed you had one titled The Tree, which is funny because if you look in my thread, the very first poem i have on there is called The Tree! they're different though, but i just found it funny!

Haha thanks! I do find it a bit odd that we have poems titled the same. I've found though that a tree is a common metaphor. *shrugs* I'm really glad that you liked that one. I'm proud that I actually wrote it.
I'll add more next week, I'll have to start something from scratch. So it may take a little while.

Poetry "goodies" lmao, sometimes im so outta myself. But they are poems, and they are good...sooo...poetry goodies! YES!.

And they're really good this time Angel, I loved this Tonks one...though i dunno if it reminds me of her but...dah, i liked it and thats what matters. Bravo Angel...

I'm rather busy at the moment, but when I get a chance I'll sit down and write. I think I have a few started, but I'm not sure. Hopefully the next update will be next week!

Thoughts
Everyone walks into class and sits down.
Soon the teacher walks in and starts the lecture of the day.
Not long after my mind starts to wander.
I start to think about everyone in the room.


What do they mean to me?
Who are they really?
Do they think the same thoughts as I do?
Do they feel as isolated as I do?


The teacher calls on someone and I snap back to reality.
I look at the teacher’s current victim and feel some pity.
Finally the answer is received and the teacher goes on with the lecture.
With a small sigh of relief I resume my drifting.


Why did I take this class?
Will I ever use it in the future?
Why is everyone else here?
Will they use it, or do they need the credit?


Once again I’m interrupted but this time the person in front of me is the victim.
I sit up a bit straighter and enjoy the bewildered actions.
She has never been very nice to anyone; she deserves to feel the heat for a bit.
She sadly gives the correct answer which makes the teacher happily continue on.


Am I the only person who dislikes her?
Does she realize how she makes me feel?
If she’s so smart why does she attack helpless people?
What makes her feel so superior to everyone else?


This time it’s the bell that startles me and the teacher dismisses the class.
Everyone tries to scramble out which causes to much noise at once.
I walk out into the hall and head toward lunch watching everyone else.
I see two people walk by hand in hand and my thoughts take over.


Do they really love each other?
Are they only together so they can say they have someone?
Will I ever feel what it’s like to hold someone’s hand?
Could that ever be me?


I hug my books closer and sit down at a table.
I watch the couple for a bit longer but my thoughts hurt too much.
I glance over and see the star athlete and a teacher talking.
My thoughts burst out full force and I start to feel over whelmed.


Does he really like sports?
Or does he only play so that he’s popular?
Is he trying to get the necessary grade to play tomorrow night?
Will the teacher give in and give it to him?


I turn back to my notebook and sigh.
I start the assignment slowly and complete it half heartedly.
After I finish the homework I feel the need to go back to drifting.
So many thoughts and so many different situations to analyze.


Does anyone question things like I do?
Do they feel the need to know the truth?
Does their mind’s over whelm them at times?
Do they think the same thoughts as I do?
