How could you do such a thing?

With a flick of your wand, he was gone.

Well as you all can see. Angel now has a new poetry thread. This one will only contain HP related material unlike the other. If you find that you enjoy these poems I recommend that you check out my other thread that has retired, Or you can follow the link in my siggy. It should lead you to my live journal (anglic_angst) Anyone can comment because it's public. If you do read I'd be soo hapy for a comment or two.
I hope to keep old readers and gain a few new ones as well.
Posting comments is a great way for me to keep adding poems, just please don't spam my thread. If you've responded once to my poems and I haven't updated yet please don't post things like "I'm waiting for you to post! PAMS!!!!" It'll just clutter the thread and makes it harder for other members to find my poetry. :)
With that in mind, I love reviews, don't be afraid to speak your mind. The more creative the better and I hope this thread grows to be as large as my other thread did.

Anyhoo, I'm still upset we wont be able to read any other type of your poems but the RQT has a solution. I did this with Nabs ((Even if she didnt have a thread to begin with))and also Lai. Um, If you ever get in your moods and you do write a poem, just post it in your User Notes. Ozzy started it and well I think it's a good idea. That way I can still get more of your awesomeness and reply! :yes:

I'll consider the usernotes stuff.... but I'm kinda sticking to HP right now. Maybe once I run out of thoughts I'll resort back to the usernotes. I look forward to the mass amounts of comments, and for a bonus...

Just jokin', I was talkin to Tina and we both think that with some practice this HP stuff can get really good, well I actually said that you're amazing already but are a bit rusty with the HP poetry. Tina told me to shut up cause you were anyhow really good and I agree with her, so good luck in this new stage, lol. We know you can do it!... And those two are good!!!

Quidditch
 

Quidditch
Around the field I zip and zoom,
I see the snitch and take a dive.
Soon the crowd is on their feet.
The wind in my face; I feel so alive.


My hand flutters in front of me.
The snitch just out of reach.
I lean forward and stretch
But still it eludes me.


It takes a sudden turn to the left,
My broom follows with out my guidance.
Once again I reach forward.
But it turns to the right.


I correct my path and gain on the gold jewel.
Everything else becomes a blur.
I lunge forward and close my hand.
With sudden joy I realize my hand is not empty


Okay... *scratches head* I could have sworn I had more HP already written... at least poems that were actually good. *blushes* Lety isn't kidding... lol It can get pretty bad actually. So I won't make you all relive having to read it all. So I will have to post my new... Yes new, Stuff. I only have a couple so I'll have to get writting again soon.

OHHH what have I done???? I'm a monster *cries* shame on me! I never meant to make you feel like that Angel, i just wanted to be honest *hugs Angel* but I meant that u are really good, we all know that but that you need to work on the hp poetry cause its not common for someone to write about stuff that u dont know, maybe those arent your feelings...you are describin' not creating. That can be hard and so far you have done interesting poetry from the point that u are tryin' to unfold the feelings of a situation created already by J.K in the book. Pretty hard thing to do if you ask me, and so far you've done and outstanding job.

Sometimes is hard for me to express myself correctly due to the language fact, when I try to translate stuff I found myself looking for the correct words and when i cant find them then i frustrate and write the most similar one, I have a complicated lexico in spanish :S. Lol, like in the above there's probably some stuff where i never meant to sound like that :D.

So, Angel u are great and im waiting for you to get better and better with every new thing you write, cause I know you can, when you fall a little then we need to push for u to keep up. Or so I feel. I love QUIDDITCH by the way, describes what one may feel in the situation, great job!

Oh and Tina, 3 am is indeed freaky lol, and im not a liar :D

They’re full of luff

They can be quite tough

lol I was refering to the poems that will follow when I said that they were bad. It's okay to say that I'm not doing that well and I'm not mad, because some of these do get pretty "forced" sounded. At least to me they don't look or read very well. They lack flow or a purpose, but since I haven't had time to write and you all seem to want them anyways then I shall post them. hehe like I always say... Enjoy!!

Uh, then forget what I said, lol.

And yeah some sound forced but we shall read them anyways. Huffies....mmm...oh well...short one, fun one.

That's the great thing about LJ, you don't have to be a member to comment, at least when the settings allow you. Which mine does. It is completely public, anyone can read it and comment.

Hey there! I was hoping to have like 16469841354 pages full of poems to read, lol. After a month I thought I'd have to lose my bottom in the sake of catching up with you.

But the ones you created after my last post are quite nice ones, specially The Boy Who Lives, I loved it. You must be short of time cause I'm sure you aren't in creativity. Im sorta lost in here, but im planning to get back my SS web-fun even if Uni gets on my way, lol. So write more girl, i'll be back...soon...maybe...yeah...i'll be back, everyday.
