Ok everybody, sorry I dont have a new post right now because im not using my computer :( I still need to type it up and I might be getting home late today, so I dont know if Ill be able to post today. I know I wont be able to post tomorrow for sure, so if I dont post today ill post for sure on Monday. If I do post today it will be reallt late (depending on the time zone :P) so you might be able to read it tomorrow. ok its like 1 oclock in the morning :faint: But im still awake. And since im awake ill post :D They left to Diagon alley as soon as everybody was done eating. They went by floo powder (much to Harry’s dislike). Gringotts was their first stop. After their moneybags were jingling cheerfully in their pockets, they split with Mrs. Weasley. “I need to go and buy some things. Everybody meet back at the Leaky Cauldron at two. Don’t get into trouble you four.” Mrs. Weasley said giving them a knowing glance before departing. “Ok Mrs. Weasley.” Hermione said for the group. They all began to walk down the crowded street. People of all ages were walking in and out of the shops, bags and parcels in hand. Most of them had an anxious face and looked twitchy. Death eaters were still at large. “Well I’m going to go and by a new quill. Ginny you want to come?” Hermione said abruptly. “Yeah sure.” Ginny replied and the two of them turned and walked into a shop. Ron and Harry kept walking. Ron was shuffling his feet, and had his hands in his pockets. Harry looked over at him and asked, “So, what’s up Ron? Why are you acting so weird?” “What do you mean?” Ron said. “You haven’t talked all morning.” Harry replied. “I’m fine. I’m just thinking.” “About what?” “Nothing.” “Oh come on. You can’t be thinking about nothing. What is on your mind.” “I bet you it was Krum who sent Hermione that letter. She got one from him a few days before you arrived. She tried to say it was from her “friend” but I saw Krum’s signature at the bottom. Why is she writing to him?” Ron said putting on a disgusted look. “Why does it matter?” Harry asked curiously. “Why does it matter? Well, because…” Ron began to blush and kept shuffling his feet uncomfortably. “Lets go to the twin’s shop.” Harry said, cutting some slack off of him. “Ok.” They walked in silence until they reached a shop that had a hanging sign that read Weasley’s Wizard Whizzes. Inside, Harry saw a lot of people (mostly what looked like Hogwarts students), enjoying the products. A young witch was working the cash register. A wizard was standing on a stepladder and handing down something to a boy they recognized as Justin Fitch-Feltchy. They nodded a hello to him before looking at the fake wands. “Hey you two. How are you? Where are Hermione and Ginny?” George asked walking over to them. Ron’s eyes grew dark as the wand he was holding turned into a rubber chicken. “What’s up with you Ron?” George asked, noticing his little brother’s reaction. “Nothing.” He said for like the third time that day. “Ok…Mum has just been in. She thinks the shop is going great.” George said beaming with pride. “That’s great. I knew it would.” Harry said. “Yeah. A big thanks to you.” George replied with a wink. Ron looked at them curiously before turning to another wand (which turned into a fake snake). “She says you’ve all got your Hogwarts letters. You know who your Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher is going to be?” “No. We never do.” Harry replied. “Excuse me, do you guys sell dung bombs?” a young witch asked. “Yes we do. Let me show you. I’ll see you two later.” George said, and led the girl somewhere else. “Reckon we should go buy our books and other school stuff before we have to go to the Leaky Caldron?” Harry said. “Yeah well we kind of need them.” Ron chuckled and they left the store. Yeah so I hoped you liked the new chapter. Im pretty tired and going to bed now *tired* *steph* |

Im finally out of school, so ill be able to post more! :woot: That is if I dont get too lazy to type it :D Anywayz, new chapter time! Around 1:50, Harry and Ron headed toward the Leaky Cauldron. It wasn’t as crowded as it usual was. Every once in a while, a witch or wizard would come in and order a drink. When they met up with the others, they all went over to the fireplace that was in the middle of the pub and one by one, went back to the Burrow. After they had a fantastic lunch, everybody lounged around the house. Harry and Ron were sitting by the window, playing wizard’s chess. Hermione and Ginny were sitting on the couch, whispering to each other, and bursting into giggles. Ron shot him an annoyed look, before sending his bishop to Harry’s pawn. “What do you two keep laughing about?” Ron asked. The two girls turned to Ron and Harry knew right away they were preparing to lie. “Nothing at all Ron.” Hermione said, with a sideways glance to Ginny. “Who wrote to you this morning?” was his next question. He was watching Hermione intently. Hermione began to blush. “Oh it was just a friend.” “Who?” he pressed. “Um…” was all she said. But Ginny came to her rescue. “Its really none of your business. Is it?” Ron threw her a look. “I just want to know who’s been writing to her.” Harry sat quietly in his chair. “Oh here we go.” He thought. “She doesn’t have to tell you if she doesn’t want to.” Ginny said, when Hermione said nothing. She was looking down, not really meeting Ron in the eye. Ginny on the other hand, was staring long and hard at her brother. Daring him to contradict her. “It’s Krum huh? That’s who wrote to you the day before Harry came.” Ron said, only looking at Hermione now. “You’ve been reading my letters?!” Hermione asked outraged. “No. But I know it was him.” He replied. “Well how do you know it was him if you didn’t read it?” “I saw his signature at the bottom. I didn’t see the top of the letter.” “You shouldn’t be seeing any part of the letter!” Hermione shot at him. “Ok. I’m sorry I saw the signature. But why are you writing to him anyways? He’s not good Hermione.” “What do you mean he is not good? You don’t even know him.” “He tried to attack Cedric in the maze during our forth year. Don’t you remember?” “He was under the Impearius curse.” She said defensively. “How do you know that? He could’ve been lying. Did he look like he was under the Imperius curse?” Ron asked, turning toward Harry. “Er-“ Harry said. He really didn’t want to get in the middle of it. When Ron didn’t turn his gaze away from him, he said, “Well, I don’t really know. I was just worrying about how to get out of the maze. I wasn’t paying attention.” Harry looked up tentatively and saw Ron’s angry face turning red. Hermione looked triumphant. “Ron, I really don’t know what your problem is with Victor. He was really sweet at the ball.” Hermione said in a peaceful way. “Why did he ask you to the ball in the first place? Was he that desperate?” So many things happened at once. Hermione burst into tears and fled up the stairs. Ginny jumped up from her seat and yelled “RON!” Harry stayed frozen in his chair, shaking his head sadly at him. Ron looked bewildered and said; “I didn’t mean it like that!” “I can’t believe you just said that!” Ginny shouted. “I really didn’t mean it like I said. It sounded better in my head.” Ron said, wide-eyed. He then sprung up from his chair and charged upstairs. There, I hope that explained a few questions. I hope you all liked it!!! *Steph* |
