Ok, guys I feel I owe all of you an explanation for my very late post. It has been almost a month since I posted and no matter what excuse I say won't make up for it. School has been keeping me really busy and with everything going on it was really hard for me to have time to right this post. It gave me a lot of trouble and I hope that it came out good.
I just want to say thanks to all my Active readers for staying with me and not giving up on me: Mindy, Heather, Hadas, Chuvvy, Lilly, Shuli and my newest reader, Aeon!!!! I could not have done it with out you guys!
Now, my friends, this will be the last chapter to the story and the epilogue will be up soon!

Chapter 24: ~ ‘Just so you know’ ~

The rest of the night passed by fast; Mia and Draco danced and danced, taking over the dance floor and getting applauded by everyone else for their dancing moves. Mia never knew she had such talent before. The best part was being hugged and greeted from all her Slytherin friends and most of the staff teachers. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Granger and Weasley sitting in the corner of the hall looking upset.

While talking to her best friend, Ashley, Professor McGonagall tapped her on the shoulder.

“Are you still interested in singing this evening, Miss Shaler?” she asked. Mia thought quick and promised to. She looked toward Draco and frowned. After McGonagall left, she turned her attention back towards Ashley but not really listening, her mind was on Draco.

She had lost two guys she loved in her life. They both died at the hands of Voldemort, both giving their lives to her. Was she ready to give her heart to another guy who she loved? Could she risk it? She looked over to where Draco was laughing at something with Blaise and Zabini.

“Mia? Mia!” she blinked, the voice sounded miles and miles away.

“MIA!” she snapped awake and looked blankly at Ashley’s face.

Are you okay?” she asked. Mia nodded. “You seemed to have blacked out for a minute,” she searched Mia’s pale face. “It’s Draco, Isn’t it?”

“I- I think... I– I don’t know!” she stammered, looking helplessly at Ashley. “I need to be alone!” she said and without waiting for Ashley’s reply, she ran out of the castle and sat down on a bench.

She stared out at the lake, sadly. She felt all alone in the world. She was told that her whole family had been killed by the Death Eaters, not that she cared much. They had always favored her younger sister and ignored Mia mostly. Well, she had to admit they weren’t that bad to her, but she never felt wanted and comfortable with them. Back in her old country she had spent most of the holidays with her best friend, Mitch. Oh how she longed to see him again. She needed to talk to him, only he would understand what she was going through. He, after all, had been with her during those rough months when her first boyfriend died. He was always there for her; he was caring, loving and the best friend she could ever have. She herself felt guilty, she hadn’t written to him since last November. A tap on her shoulder interrupted her thoughts.

It was Draco.

“Hey,” he greeted. She smiled. “What’s on your mind?” he asked.

“Oh, nothing, just thinking…” she said quickly.

“Oh, right,” he said disappointedly, “well, McGonagall wants you to sing in five minutes.”

“Right, well, I’ll be there in a moment,” She said.

There was an awkward silence when neither said anything.

“Right, Um, Good luck, Mia,” he said and left looking letdown and unsure about something.

Mia looked down at her hands and decided he needed to know the truth about how she felt about him, the whole truth with no lies before it was too late.

“Ah, perfect!” said Professor McGonagall. “Step right up to the microphone.” Mia followed her nervously and felt butterflies at the pit of her stomach.

Professor McGonagall climbed onto the stage and spoke into the bewitched microphone. “May I have your attention, please? This evening is coming to an end and I would like to end it with a song that Mia Shaler will sing to us.” There was a burst of applause from the Slytherin’s as Mia stepped up to the microphone. Her eyes scanned the crowed for Draco, but he was no where to be seen.

“This song is dedicated to Draco Malfoy,” she said then swallowed and with all the courage she could muster, began:

‘“I shouldn't love you, but I want to
I just can't turn away
I shouldn't see you, but I can't move
I can't look awa.”’

She paused.

‘“I shouldn't love you, but I want to

The next paragraph she sang with more emotion and movement, all the while the crowd cheering.

Then she saw Draco entering the great hall. He looked like he was crying, tears were falling down his face. Her tears began to fall to, before she could control it. Tear by tear splashed down on the microphone and she just sang and sang. Her eyes locked with Draco’s.

Then she smiled and danced the two last paragraphs. She sang like she did in her old school. She moved her arms and legs in all different ways. She danced around the stage and pointed her finger at Draco every time she said the word ‘you’.

There was loud applause from practically the whole school. Even half the Gryffindor’s cheered. “WooHoo!” they screamed, and “You rock” and more. They even whistled. She felt great! She took a great bow.

“Thank you all so much! I just want to thank someone very special to whom I sang this song to,” her eyes and Draco’s locked, “Draco, thank you for sticking with me till the end and not giving up on me! You saved my life countless times even if you put yourself in danger. Thank you!” There were cheers for Draco and Mia mouthed to him, ‘I love you’. Draco climbed onto the stage and walked towards her and kissed her. She kissed him back. The crowed sang, “Awww!” They kissed each other as hard as they could and Professor McGonagall walked onto the stage and pulled them apart. She yelled at them while the crowd laughed and cheered.

“I hope you all had a great evening, good night!” said Professor McGonagall angrily and the couples began to exit the hall, still laughing and talking excitedly while Professor McGonagall yelled at Mia and Draco some more about ‘kissing in public’ as she said and ‘in front of everyone’.

When she finished lecturing them, Draco took Mia down to the kitchen where the house elves provided them with food in all a matter of seconds.

“You must be starving!” he said as they walked up to the Room of Requirement, when he noticed Mia looking at the food they were carrying hungrily, her eyes sparkling.

“The last time I had a proper meal was- was… I can’t even remember!” she whispered.

They entered the room and Mia saw a table, two chairs, silverware and a candle in the middle of the table. The room itself was small and cozy with red decorations.

Draco walked past Mia and pulled out a chair and indicated that Mia should sit. She giggled. “What a gentleman!” she thought while she sat. Draco sat in the chair opposite her and placed the food on the table. “Dig in!” he said with a smile. Mia laded her plate with everything that was there and she began to eat. “For a Malfoy, he sure was nice. I guess he’s willing to change,” she thought and laughed to herself.

“So,” said Draco, “tell me all about your little adventures!”

So Mia told him how she had faked her death and flew out to look for Harry, thinking he was still alive (“- I don’t think you were right in the head, maybe you should of left after your brain was working,” Draco joked and Mia stuck out her tong playfully) and then one day, a Death Eater captured her and brought her to Malfoy Manor (“- I swear I’ll burn that place someday!” said Draco angrily”), where she managed to get hold of a wand, escape and apparate to Diagon Alley to get dress robes.

“… And then I apparated to Hogsmade and came here!” she finished.

“But how did you get inside Hogwarts, weren’t the gates locked with all kinds of charms?” he frowned.

“Yeah, I wondered that to. Maybe it only let’s students pass. I remember I sort of just floated through it. It was weird…” she said, lost in thought.

The two finished their dinner and exited the room of requirement. They walked back to the Slytherin common room. When Mia climbed in, she couldn’t see a thing. There was total darkness.

“Draco?” she asked.

“I’m right behind you.” He took her hand.

“Why is it so dark-?” there was a loud pop and a crash. “Draco, I don’t like this, I don’t like this at all!” She thought about taking out her wand but before she even touched it, there was a scream.

“SURPRISE! SURPRISE!”

The lights flicked on and all the Slytherin’s got out from behind the couches and ran towards Mia. Two boys that she knew picked her up on their shoulders and danced with her. They all screamed and cheered her on. It was the best welcome- back- party ever!

“Draco, you knew all along, didn’t you?” He just smirked at her. And she rolled her eyes.

Then, a little while later, Professor McGonagall walked through the portrait hole and the chatter died down almost immediately, and what she said was the last thing anyone expected her to say.

“May I have your attention please?” she looked dazed, like she had just fallen of the moon. “I have great news, Lord Voldemort is dead!” Mia fell off the boys shoulders in amazement. She cried in pain, but seconds later she was on her feet and singing. Everyone else joined in, even Professor McGonagall joined by commenting Ashley on the banners she made for Mia. Ashley blushed and thanked her awkwardly. Everyone wanted to hear the story of his downfall; Professor McGonagall thought for a moment and then began.

“Lord Voldemort went to the Potters house in Godric Hollow to find something. He found a cloak there, Harry Potter’s cloak, and when he touched it, he exploded. The body was found by Death Eaters who went to see what was taking him so long and they found him dead. He was missing for about three weeks. The prophecy was right; Harry Potter killed him. It is a mystery how the cloak got there in the first place but what matters is that he is dead!” She smiled and left through the portrait whole to tell the other houses.

In the mean while, the party was bigger and happier. When Mia finally escaped from the boys who wanted to dance with her, she looked around for Ashley and realized that she hadn’t seen her since Professor McGonagall left.

“Hey, have you seen Ashley?” she asked her friend Natalie.

“Ooh! I think you’ll find her over there!” she giggled and pointed at the corner of the room. There was Ashley and a boy called Jake Ainax, whom Ashley had a crush on for ages. They were sitting on a red couch snogging each other. They were rapped around each other so tight that it was hard to tell whose hands were whose.

They partied all night long and only going to sleep in the early hours of the morning. Mia only woke up in the afternoon. She put on some clothes and walked down to the common room. She spotted Draco sitting in an armchair reading a book.

“Hey stranger,” she said tapping him on the shoulder. He turned around and closed the book.

“Hey you, do you want to take a walk?”

“sure.” She smiled.

“Oh, one thing you should know.” He said getting up.

“Yes?” she asked curiously.

“'Just so you know’, I love you, and always will.” He kissed her.

They walked out in the castle grounds, hand in hand together, enjoying one last peaceful day before the end of their last year at Hogwarts.

Why whyn did the end have to come...i feel like im about to cry here for real.I loved it.I went and found the song on youtube and i sang along with it just so i could get into the move of the story.I cant wait for another fabulous story if you write anymore.

You bet it does! But guess what?! I am posting the epilogue in like a few minutes!!!!! Yeah, I know shocking isn't it?!? *british accent*

OMG!!! It's the end of this ff! I don't really get it cause my whole brain is going num! AHHHHHHH! This ff has been up for more than a half a year, like seven or eight months and now I have to say good bye... This is sooo sad that I'm practicly crying and don't think I'm just saying this cause I AM crying!!! Well anyway, a thousand times thanks to all my wonderful readers!!! Now that I am looking at the very begining, the first chapter, my spelling, writing and vocabulary is TONS better but I mean TONS TONS and it's all thanks to you guys who took patience and read this ff and encouraged me to write more, cause if I didn't have any readers than I would have just given up and look where I have come be cause of you guys!!!!!!!!!

Okay so I'm a LITTLE overeacting but I think I'm going INSANE!!!
So, where were we? Oh right, the epilogue. Oh it's justt an epilogue ou silly but I can't stop crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK Shirel enough, you are really talking to yourself right now so I'm sure everyones thinking I'm a total geek cause I talk to myself but hey, IT'S OVVVVVVEEEEER!!!!!! HELP!!!! CALL THE POLICE! SHE FAINTING! OH, AND THIS FF IS NO LONGER ACTIVE BECAUSE THERES SOME KIND OF 'INSANE SPRAY' FLOATING AROUND SO BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET HIT WITH IT!

This Epilogue is devoted to all my wonderful readers who have stuck with me till the end even if I'm a little insane right now....

Epilogue: ~ sixteen years later ~

Mia took one last look at Harry Potter’s grave and turned to go, but then turned around back around.

“You were very brave Harry and I loved you,” she whispered and walked down, past all the graves and flowers out of the open gate. The gate creaked shut and she apparated out of Godrics Hollow back to where she and Draco Malfoy lived. Today was Harry Potters Birthday and if he was still alive, he would’ve been thirty three years old and she went to pay her respects to the man she once loved. She went early in the morning so she could avoid the crowds that visited him every year to pay their respects to the man who had defeated Lord Voldemort.

“I’m home!” she called as she placed her traveling coat back in the closet and walked into the kitchen where Draco was sitting at the kitchen table, reading The Daily Prophet with a cup of coffee in his hand.

“You’re up early,” she said, bending down and kissing him on his forehead. He placed the paper on the table and turned towards her.

“I couldn’t sleep without you,” he smiled and kissed her.

“Mom, Dad, will you get a room?” said a girls voice.

She was Mia’s and Draco’s eldest daughter; Alicia. She was going into her fourth year. She was a pretty fourteen year old that was popular and in the same house and her parents had been. She had long blond hair, she was very athletic, as she was tall and thin and she had her father’s eyes; Cold gray eyes when she was mad but warm cold with even a little stripe of blue in them when she was happy.

“Sorry honey,” said Mia. “What are you doing up at eight in the morning?” she asked while taking a sip of Draco’s coffee.

“I’m meeting Alex in about an hour. Were going somewhere and it has to be early…” she said and turned a deep shade of pink.

“Where are you guys planning on going?” Draco asked, folding The Daily Prophet and serving his daughter with a stern look.

Alicia turned even pinker and she opened her mouth to say something then closed it.

“Yes?” said Mia, hoping her daughter wasn’t going to do anything that she wasn’t aloud to do.

“Were…” she started but got interrupted by a loud yelling and crashing as two identical girls came running into the kitchen soaking wet.

Mia immediately got up and placed her hands on her hips, an angry look on her face. Alicia took the chance and ran back upstairs without her mother noticing.

“What have you two been doing?” she asked and the girls exchanged dirty looks with each other. In fact, they were twins. Two trouble makers who couldn’t go an hour with out getting into some kind of trouble. They’re names were Miley and Daniel. Both were Mini Alicia’s except their eyes were blue; like their mothers. They were entering their second year and they were known for their jokes.

“Nothing,” Daniel replied and stepped on Miley’s foot. Miley grabbed Daniel’s hand and pulled her along as she opened the front door and the two walked outside, closing it behind them.

Mia sighed and looked around the kitchen, frowning.

“Where’s Alicia?” she asked Draco.

“She must’ve gone upstairs,” Draco muttered as he read an article in the Daily Prophet.

“Draco, I don’t trust her,” she said. “She spends so much time with her boyfriend and so little with her family.”

Draco looked at Mia and raised an eyebrow.

“Don’t let me remind you what we did together while we were still at Hogwarts,” said Draco, a smile playing on his lips.

Mia looked at him angrily for siding with her but then straightened up and raised her voice slightly. “I guess your right. Let her have fun….”

“Spoken like a true Slytherin and mother!” Draco smirked and looked thoughtfully at Mia.

“What?” Mia asked him.

“I think it’s time we went on holiday together for a couple of days,” he said and seeing the surprised look on Mia’s face he added, “You know, before the kids go back to school and we have to go back to work.”

“Who’s going to watch the girls?” Mia asked not knowing where this idea was getting to.

“Well, Alicia’s fourteen,” Draco said. “She’s old enough and mature enough to watch them for a couple of days.” Mia raised an eyebrow.

“Miley and Daniel?” she asked trying to imagine how the house would look like when they came back.

So it was planned. The next day their trunks were ready, the food for the kids was made, the rules were said and Draco and Mia apparated to their hotel in England. It was a hotel for witches and wizards so therefore Draco and Mia apparated wearing their best robes.

The young witch looked up from her desk and served them through her red spectacles. “May I help you?” she asked politely.

“We reserved here under the name Malfoy,” said Draco. The witch looked at the list of names on her piece of parchment and pointed at the ‘M’’s.

“Ah, here,” she said with out looking up. “Malfoy, room sixty two, floor six.” She searched through her drorers and handed them a metal key. “Here’s your key,” she said. “I hope you enjoy your stay here at King’s hotel.” She smiled.

Draco took the key and thanked her. Together him and Mia took their trunks and headed towards the elevator like the one in the Ministry Of Magic. They stepped in with their trunks and press the button with the number six on it. In a matter of seconds the door opened. Mia and Draco walked out and walked down a long corridor.

“Fifty two…fifty four…sixty…Ah!” said Draco counting down the doors. “Here we are.” He inserted the key into the key hole which fit perfectly and with a click the door opened to reveal a beautiful sweet. There was a queen size bed, a large mirror with a little beauty desk, a red and green rug, a wardrobe next to the bed, a door for the bathroom and in the corner of the room stood a little table with a huge basket of candy and two chairs.

“Wow!” Mia exclaimed. “This is just beautiful!”

“I know,” said Draco bringing in their trunks and setting them aside in the corner of the room. He closed the door and walked over to where Mia was staring out of the window which overlooked the ocean. The sun was setting so it was much nicer seeing it set right over the ocean. Draco slipped his hand around her waste and Kist her.

“The view is amazing from up here,” Mia said and let Draco kiss her again. It was just him and her, no children around to interfere. It was just like the old days, back at Hogwarts.

“I love you, Mia,” he said breathlessly and tickled her a little. Mia giggled and tried to run for it. She managed she broke free from his arms and ran to the other side of the room, laughing. Draco ran after her and Mia had no escape. So, she jumped up on the bed, out of his reach. He jumped on it to and pulled her down, next to him. They both lay there laughing and breathing heavily, staring into each others eyes.

“I love you to, Draco,” Mia said and she and Draco kissed some more. Next thing she knew, Draco had pulled the covers over them and dimmed the lights.

The War of Love was over and she knew it.

Okay, I'm really sad now. Again thank you all so much for sticking with me even though I probably said that about a thousand? a million thimes? already... I just wanted you guys to have a little laugh today because, well, It's over... *cries*
So I will leave it up for like a week and then once I find out how, it will be moved to the finished fics! :'(
