I appreciate all of the replies. So here's another chappie.

Chapter Four

Ginny’s POV

I’m going to the doctor today because I don’t feel well, and It’s getting annoying. I don’t like being left in the dark, not knowing what’s going on with me or my family. And plus, Harry made me do it. But still, I’m sure everything’s going to be fine. But Harry doesn’t think so. I almost blew up on him twice yesterday(and might I add that I blew up on HIM twice, there were other people I haven't mentioned) and the dinner last night was delicious, but it was disastrous too. I mean, there was some laughing and pranks(gee I wonder who’s fault was that?) but there were also a lot of puking. Oh and did I mention that I got it on Ron’s new shoes? Yea, that’s payback for the restaurant incident. Harry got a little worried, Ron got a little mad(I used the word “little” lightly, by the way), and Hermione got a little, well…Hermione-ish.

She didn’t say it in front of the guys, but once I was done doing you know what in the bathroom, she pulled me aside and asked if there had been anything unusual going on with me in the past few weeks. And oh yea, she remembers the restaurant incident too. I told her about my odd craving for ice cream, my even shorter temper and my moodiness and so on. And well, she told me what she thought. I denied it then, but come to think of it, Hermione does have a point.

And so I woke up early(did I mention I hate mornings too?) got ready, made breakfast and still found my little sweetheart of a husband still sleeping. And so I did the most obvious thing a sweetheart of a wife would do. I woke him up.

“Harry! Wake up!” Oops. I suppose I shouldn’t have yelled.


Harry sat upright on the bed, squinting at the sunlight coming through the windows as I opened the blinds. He laid back in bed, putting the pillow over his head to shield the sunlight.

“Harry, honey, its time to wake up. I have a doctor’s appointment today and I said I would go but only if you come with me.” I told him.

“Five more minutes.” He said sleepily under the pillow.

“Honey, five minutes is a lot of time. Use the five minutes now so you won’t be rushing later.” Talk about sounding like my mom.

“Fine!” He said, heaving a sigh. I smiled to myself as I watched him get out of bed.

And I was right, if he stayed in bed for another five minutes then we surely would have been late. We arrived at St. Mungo’s with few minutes to spare. We filled out the required forms and waited, and soon enough our doctor came. He was a slightly pudgy man with thinning brown hair but still a friendly smile. He put out his hand to shake mine.

“Hello Mrs. Potter. It’s nice to see you.” He told me, and then shaking Harry’s hand. “And of course you too, Mr. Potter.”

“Same here, Dr. Vizor.” I replied. He lead us to a room that was fairly small. It had two wooden chairs at the far edge, they type on bed in the middle of the room that had that annoying paper you always had to sit on, a desk that had a black quill along with some paper and a clipboard, and a cupboard across from it. He told me to sit on the bed, and Harry didn’t want to sit on one of the chairs. Instead, he stood beside me.

“What seems to be the problem, Mrs. Potter?” Dr. Vizor asked me.

“I don’t know. I don’t think I have a problem. But Harry seems to think so.” I crossed my arms and turned my head towards him, and he instantly gave me that “I don‘t know what you‘re talking about” look. Um, who’s the one that made me come out here in the first place?

“I didn’t say it that way. I mean, well, she had a puke fest last night, she blew up on tons of people and she’s been acting a little…weird.” Nice choice of words, Harry. “And plus, Ron said you’ve been acting like that ever since I left!”

“Excuse me? Ron put you up to this? HE brainwashed you?” I asked.

“No! I put myself up to it.” He ran his hand through his jet black hair and sighed. “I just want to know if you’re okay, Ginny. That’s all.”

“Well, then, I guess we’ll find out today, won’t we?” Dr. Vizor said. And then immediately, the quill on his desk instantly flew up, along with a clipboard in front of it, just like the one Rita Skeeter had.

“Have you been feeling a little weird in any way, Mrs. Potter?”

“A little.” I told him.

“Describe what you’ve been feeling, please.” He leaned against his desk, nodding and asking questions while he listened to me, all the while, the quill was writing down almost everything I said.

“Mrs. Potter, I think I know what’s wrong. But it’s perfectly natural for what you might be going through. But I was to run some tests first, just to be sure.”

“Like blood tests?” I asked him.

“Not exactly.” He told me.

What I thought would be just a short checkup at the doctor’s ended up making me very impatient. The doctor could’ve just told me what thought was wrong with me, but nooo. Instead, he had to leave us in the room, make us wait 10 minutes for a nurse to run the tests, and then the nurse left, making us wait for another 10 minutes for the results to show. Haven’t these people ever heard of magic? Can’t they magically speed this process up somehow?

And finally the doctor came in, grinning at us. I guess nothing was wrong with me, and Harry was just paranoid.

“I have great news, you two. Ginny, what you’re going through is perfectly natural.” He told me. But he still wasn’t being clear enough.

“What am I going through, anyways?”

“Pregnancy.” He said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

“WHAT?!” Harry asked, looking at the doctor as if he was the most insane person in the world.

“You’re going to have a baby.” He told me. And again he grinned. But soon the grin disappeared when we heard a thump on the floor. My husband just fainted. Wonderful.

Chapter 5


Harry’s POV

I woke up with a really bad headache, and an even worse dream. Two words. Ginny. Pregnant. Does that make it clear enough for you? But luckily it’s a dream. Its not coming true, its not happening, and it won’t for anytime soon. But then I actually sat up straight on the bed that I was laying in. And then I realize that Ginny is there, I’m not in my house, and…wait for it…..Dr. Vizor is there. Realize that he’s Ginny’s doctor, not mine. But still, I tried to convince myself that nothing was wrong. I looked at Ginny.

“What happened?” I asked her. Her eyes instantly met mine, and I could tell she was trying hard to figure out that best way to say….. whatever she was going to say.

“Harry, Honey, You fainted.” She said calmly. I furrowed my eyebrows.

“Who faints at the doctor’s office?” I asked. She has got to be kidding me. Ginny rolled her eyes.

“Apparently you do.” Okay, so I let that go.

“Ginny, I have the worst headache and the weirdest dream. I had a dream that we were that this doctors office and then he said that you were preg…..” I saw the doctor slowly nod and then it all made sense. I looked up at Ginny, and she smiled slightly.

“Harry, that wasn’t a dream. Everything….was real.” She said softly. And I looked from her to Dr. Vizor, and than back to her. This was NOT what I was expecting.

Ginny’s POV

Hermione was right…about everything. I was having a you know what, but what she failed to warn me of is my husband fainting. And it really makes me wonder. Sure, I know he was fainting from being surprised, but is that a good thing or a bad thing? Is he happy? Or is it because he doesn’t want a kid? Whatever it is, I hope to god it’s the first option. I left with my hand in Harry’s. I was worried. He hadn’t said a word. And then finally he spoke up.

“Ginny, could you conjure up a bag?” Harry asked. What a random question.

“A bag? What do you need a bag for?” I asked him.

“I-” breath “Cant-” breath “Breathe!” He said. I rolled my eyes in disbelief and conjured up a bag. Harry grabbed it from me(rude much?) and quickly brought it up to his face. I watched as the bag began to fill with air and watched it as it deflated. When his breathing went back to normal, he threw the bag away and took hold of my arm, and we apparated to the front gate of our flat. Home sweet home. And still I haven’t heard him talk, and during dinner that night, I just couldn’t take the silence anymore.

“Harry please talk to me. Something’s wrong.” I said. He looked up at me. His eyes were distant, like he was staring at something far from here.

“Nothing’s wrong.” He said absentmindedly. Ok, that’s it!

“Harry James Potter, something’s wrong! And don’t tell me there isn’t! Talk to me, I’m your wife! I’ve lived with you long enough to know when something’s wrong and when it isn’t!” I said. Oh, so I possibly shouldn’t have said it that way…..but I can’t take it back now can I?

He sighed, and put his fork down. “I just don’t feel like talking about right now, okay? Its only been almost my third day here from getting off a mission. It’s a lot to take in.” He said.

“But you can tell Ron, can’t you? As a matter of fact, you WILL tell Ron. But that’s alright. Go ahead and tell him. But I’m going to bed. Goodnight, my HUSBAND!” I said, and got up and stomped my way into the bedroom. In truth, I was hurt. I thought he’d be happy. But instead I got the complete opposite. This day is SO not going as planned.

Chapter 6


Ginny’s POV



Despite the fact that I left Harry at the dinner table, stomped into our room, and said I was going to sleep, in truth, I couldn’t sleep at all. I kept on thinking about the way he fainted, the way he acted, the way he ignored me. And it was just plain too much! I was deprived of sleep, hungry, sad and hurt. And I felt I could only talk to Hermione. And so I left Harry a note, didn’t even bother to cook breakfast, and went to visit Hermione. I arrived at a talk peach colored house that was two stories tall. The garden was well flourished, much like our house, and it was surrounded by a golden gate. All in all, their house was beautiful. I opened the gate and knocked on their door. I hoped it wasn’t Ron that opened the door, because it would only remind me of last night.

And finally after knocking a few more times and willing myself to be patient, Hermione opened the door and I found myself exhaling, unaware I was even holding my breath. I relieved. Hermione looked confused.

“Ginny…Hi. I’m sorry but it’s like 7:30.” She said, but in a way that didn’t sound rude.

“I’m really sorry, Hermione, but I just can’t take it anymore.” I said, as she invited me. Hermione’s eyebrows furrowed, making much more obvious how confused she was.

“Can’t take what anymore?”

“Harry! He’s acting like a total jerk!” I said. “We went to the doctor yesterday.” I told her. Hermione got me some tea and I eagerly accepted, deciding maybe that would calm me down. Hermione’s eyes widened.

“Oh really? How’d it go?” She asked me, taking a sip of her tea herself. I took my eyes off her tea cup and looked up at her.

“You were right. About everything.” I confessed. She smiled, but it quickly disappeared when she realized I didn’t smile back.

“Really? That’s wonderful, Ginny! Why aren’t you smiling? Aren’t you happy?” She asked me, puzzled. I nodded and gave a light smile, which was the best I could muster.

“Of course I am! I’m very happy….but….Harry isn’t.” I told her, my voice faltering.

“What? Why?” She questioned me. I shook my head, just as baffled as she was.

“I don’t know. But I desperately wish I did! I guess he just doesn’t want a child at the moment.” I said, not realizing the tears falling down my face that was already red. Hermione hugged me and put a hand on my shoulder to comfort me.

“It’s alright, Gin. I’m sure he’s just overreacting. There’s gotta be something more to this.” Hermione assured me, but still I couldn’t believe her. Harry wouldn’t do this to.

“There better be. Because I know for a fact I won’t take this from him.” I told her.

“Take what from who?” Said a groggy voice. Both me and Hermione glanced at each other, and both of us had that “oh no” look on our face. And we slowly turned our heads toward Ron, who was unsurprisingly looking through the fridge.

Harry's POV


I woke up to find a note on the counter. It read:


Harry,
Going to Hermione’s and Ron’s.
Will be back home later. Don’t
Bother coming for me.

And I could definitely tell she was mad. Her sentences were short and got to the point. She didn’t say I love you, or with love, or I will miss you…or anything. And I realize how much I have really hurt her. And I just couldn’t help it. But I tried to convince myself that it was just because of her moods and the fact that she was…you know…that made her so emotional, and that she was overreacting. I dared not to go and talk to her now. I just might make her even more mad. And I also hoped that Hermione would be able to calm her down. And about Ron, well, he’s never always been a light sleeper. Maybe this time I might get lucky and he would still be asleep. I would just have to wait until Ginny came(HELP!!) and then we would talk about it(by talk, I mean a possible argument and me ending up in the hospital….IF I‘m lucky).

She is NOT overreacting, Harry!
