| Shipper Queen Hippie Quad I love you Gracie Here is another chapter just cause Chapter 13
“So did he tell you what happened after he came back?” Benny asked. He was practically sitting on the edge of his seat; the story was beginning to grow suspenseful.
“Not exactly.” Samantha said, with an ashamed look.
“He told you he would when he came back.”
“He didn’t come back that night.”
“And that’s when you came here?”
“No, this all happened a few months ago.”
“Once again you lost me.” Benny said, leaning back in his chair.
“He came back three days later. I had thought so many things. At first I thought he was hurt, or something had happened to him. For one brief moment I thought Matt had killed him.” She chuckled nervously.
“Keep going.”
“He said he had to help move his Gram out. It took them three days to get her moved out the house.” She said.
“Why did Milo’s Gram move out?”
“Ummm…”
“You don’t know?” Benny asked with a sigh.
“I never asked him why. I was just glad he was alive. I was happy he was back. I didn’t question him.” Samantha said willful.
“So what about Matt? Didn’t he live with his Gram?”
“He stayed in the house. Only his Gram moved out.”
“So Matt stayed at his Gram’s house, his Gram moved out for reasons unknown, and Milo is living with you still?” Benny asked, trying to understand everything that just happened.
“Yeah basically.”
“Then what happened?”
“Nothing much really. Life went back to normal. Matt seemed more distant after that night on the beach, but he was still a joker. I never brought up that night again, and I think both of them were glad.”
Benny ran his hand through his messy brown hair. It was getting long. Mum kept on saying he needed a haircut but he never got around to getting it done. He didn’t know what to make out of Samantha’s story. It had so many twists in it. It was starting to give him the chills. What happened to Milo’s Gram? Why didn’t Samantha care to ask? But then again, he probably wouldn’t have asked either. It wasn’t his business really.
“Sammy, you really need to get to the part that is important now.” Benny said slowly.
She looked over at him and exhaled. “Ok.”

| Thanks Quads 3 and 4 <3 Shipper Queen Hippie Quad Chapter 14
Sam wondered what she should make for dinner as she stepped into the kitchen. It was a small little kitchen, with pale yellow tile and white cupboards, but it was one of Sam’s favorite rooms in the house. She took out a pan and set it on the stove. A light tapping sound, made her turn her head. Finding the source of the noise, she made her way over to the window to let the pitch-black owl inside. It flew away from her, then straight toward her. She didn’t know what to do, but stood her ground. Not flinching as the owl then dropped something at her feet, and then flew back out the window.
Sam bent down and picked up the small piece of parchment. It looked like it was ripped off from a bigger piece. She looked at and saw only two words. Go now
It didn’t make sense. Go where? Who sent this? The writing sort of looked like Matt’s, but he wouldn’t owl them. He would just show up unannounced. So what did this mean?
“Milo?” Sam called, still looking at the note.
Footsteps, then warm arms proclaimed Milo was behind her. She turned around to face him, then handed him the note. The smile that was on his face vanished faster than you can say note. His face turned pale, and his eyes widened.
“What does it mean?” Sam asked.
His eyes snapped up to her face, and his expression made her step back. “We need to go.” He said and grabbed her wrist.
“Wait! Milo, go where?” Sam said, trying to keep up with him as he practically dragged her from the kitchen.
“We just need to go. Now.” He replied and walked quickly toward the front door, his hand still wrapped tightly around her wrist. He was beginning to hurt her, but she didn’t dare tell him to loosen his grasp.
Before they could make it to the door, it burst open and four people walked in with black cloaks. Milo cursed loudly and began running back toward the kitchen.
“Milo?” Sam’s frightened tone echoed through the living room.
“Run Samantha!” Milo shouted and led her to the back door in the kitchen.
The cloaked four followed after them, one raising his wand at them. Milo used his wand to open the door and pushed Sam outside. She stumbled, but was able to keep her balance and kept running. She heard the door slam behind her and Milo shout a locking charm. It wouldn’t stick for long, but it bought them time. Milo was then running in front of her and directed her toward an alleyway. She followed after him, trying to keep up. She could hear the footsteps running behind them, but she couldn’t decipher how far away they were. They were in front of the alleyway now, and Milo turned to the left. Sam followed and felt his hand grab her arm. He pulled her into an open door, and shut the door as soon as she was inside.
They sat there hiding, trying to regain their breath. Adrenaline was running swiftly through Sam’s veins, along with fear. It was too dark to see his face, but Sam knew Milo was watching the doorknob. Waiting for it to burst open.
When she felt it was safe to speak, she whispered, “Who was that? Why were they chasing us? Whats going on?”
“Those were my parents and two of their followers.” Milo said slowly.
“What?!” Sam said a little louder than she attended.
“They were coming for me.” He said, running his hand franticly through his hair.
“What do you mean coming for you? I thought you weren’t a death eater.”
“I’m not. That is what they were coming for me. My parents like to keep it in the family. They want me to join.” Milo said, and began to fidget with his shoelaces.
“But, why now?”
“That is just when they decided.”
“Milo, I don’t get-”
“Do you remember Matt telling you about Kali?” Matt asked, cutting her off.
“Yeah. But what does she-”
“She was my sister.”
“Your sister? You don’t have a sister.” Sam said, fighting back tears that were threatening to spill over. This was all way too overwhelming.
“I did. They came for her when I was sixteen. She was a year older than me. It was her 17th birthday when they killed her.” She could hear the emotion coated with every word.
“I…I’m sorry.” Sam said quietly. “Why did they come for her so young?”
“She was a seer. They liked that. They saw her as a prize. But she wouldn’t join them. My mother killed her.” Sam stayed quiet, not knowing what to say. A lot was being dumped on her and it was very crushing.
“She predicted something about me once.” Milo said softly.
“What?” Sam asked when Milo didn’t say anything.
“We were all in Matt’s room playing cards, when her face went blank. She then started talking in this monotone. It was freaky.”
“What did she say?” Sam asked curiously.
“The third born of Thanos and Melania is going to meet his downfall over a beautiful young woman. He will fall in love with the girl, and his thoughts will be clouded, even in great danger.
That was why Matthaios wouldn’t come home when you were there, when you first started coming over. It was also why he was trying to “warn” you away from me. He wasn’t looking out for you, but me really. He promised Kali he would protect me, so you can see why he was doing it.”
Sam listened to him and couldn’t help but have sympathy for Matt. A lot more was going through his head than he let on.
“Why don’t we go to Matt’s? I’m sure we will be safe there.” Sam said and stood up.
“Wait, there is something else I need to tell you. Its about Matt.”
“It can wait. We just need to get out of here.” Sam said and spun on the spot.
She reappeared in front of Milo’s Gram’s old house and where Matt was staying. Looking for any sign of men in black cloaks, she slowly made her way up the steps. A pop behind her made her jump. But it was just Milo. He walked up to her and took her hand firmly into his own.
“Stay silent.” He whispered. She nodded and they tiptoed up the steps. Before opening the door, Milo turned to her. “You need to promise me something first. If something happens, and they somehow get a hold of me, I want you to get out of here.”
“I can’t Milo.”
“Yes. You have to. If they get you too, there is no stopping me from turning death eater. They will use you to get me to join, and then they will kill you. But if I know you are safe, they wont turn me.” Milo said, passion heating up his eyes.
“Milo I just can’t just leave you.” Sam whimpered.
“Promise me.”
“Fine. I promise.”
Milo closed his eyes with relief then turned and opened the door. They tiptoed inside, and found the place empty. “Stay close.” He said, searching the place.
Sam walked a little away from him to go see if anybody was in the kitchen. Milo must of seen something before she did, because the next thing she knew, he was shouting her name.
“Samantha!” he yelled and was running at her at full speed. He tackled her to the ground, their bodies sliding against the rough carpet. Pain erupted up her left side, and she let out a groan. But she was able to see the red flash of light shoot over them. Milo was on his feet in seconds and pulled Sam up with him. He pushed her behind him and took a step back.
“Ah Milo. Why do you have to make this so difficult?” A high-pitched voice said, from behind the black cloak.
“Because I’m not like you, mother.” He spat at her.
“Thanos, are you here?” the high-pitched voice asked.
“Here wife.” A deep voice said, to Sam’s right. She jumped and saw two black-cloaked men a few feet away from them. She grabbed a handful of Milo’s shirt in her fist and took another step backwards, pulling him with her.
“Thanos. Look! He has a girl with him.” The high-pitched voice squealed with excitement.
“I see that Melania.” The deep voice of Thanos said dully.
“Introduce us Milo. Go ahead now.” Melania said.
“I’ll never introduce you.” Milo said in a low voice.
“Don’t speak to your mother like that.” Thanos demanded.
“I’ll speak to her how I would any other Death Eater.” Milo said defiantly, his eyes darkening.
“Enough! Matthaios restrain your brother and his girlfriend.” Melania ordered.
The black-cloaked person that was standing next to Thanos moved toward them. Sam stood their motionless. Matt was a Death Eater? How could he have betrayed them like this? Sam couldn’t believe Matt could do this so Milo. But Matt was still moving toward them, and they had nowhere to go.
“Stupefy!” Milo shouted suddenly, distracting the three of them.
Milo then began running in the opposite direction. Sam followed after him and reached the door just in time for Thanos to yell “Crucio!” Milo went down hard and began withering in pain. His eyes closed tightly and a muffled scream was swimming in his throat. His arms and legs began twitching like he was being struck with lightning and his head rolled around on his neck. His fists began clenching so tight that his knuckles were turning white.
Sam stopped in her tracks, seeing him fall and shouted, “No! Milo!”
“Matthaios get the girl.” Melania squealed.
“You promised Samantha.” Milo cringed, his eyes full of pain.
“Milo, I can’t.” she cried as Matthaios made his way toward her again.
“Apparate! Now Samantha!” Milo yelled and began shaking uncontrollable.
Just as Matt put his hand out to grab her, she turned on the spot and went to the one place where she knew she would be safe. Home.

Ok so I have the whole story written out and a certain Elephant is very persuasive so Im gonna post again
To save confusion, the rest of the story will be in Benny's point of view...sort of... Chapter 15
Benny said nothing as Samantha finished her story. He could see the regret in her chocolate brown eyes as she described leaving Milo. She was hurting over what happened, and he knew she was ashamed for leaving him, even if he had told her to.
“Then you found me and I’ve completed the circle.” She said, after a moment of silence.
They stayed quiet after that. Benny didn’t know what to say to her. What were they supposed to do now? Go after him? He couldn’t see how the two of them would be able to save him. They were nowhere as good with a wand as three, if not more, dark wizards. It was impossible and it would only get them killed.
“Sam, I’m sorry. But I don’t think there is anything we can do.” Benny said slowly. Her head snapped toward his, and Benny almost jumped from the intensity in her eyes.
“What do you mean there is nothing we can do? We have to save him!” Samantha said, trying to hold back her panic.
“Sammy, there is no way we would be able to save him and come out alive ourselves.”
“I don’t care. We need to try.” She said stubbornly.
“Is that why you came back here? So I would go back with you and risk both our lives?” Benny asked desperately.
“No, I came here because I thought of all people, you would be able to help me.” Samantha said, her eyes welling up.
“How would I be able to help you? These are dark wizards. I wouldn’t stand a change against them in a duel. I didn’t even finish my seventh year of school Sam.” He said sadly. He badly wanted to help her, but he had to think reasonably. There was no way he was going to mess up again.
Slowly, something began to change in Samantha’s expression. Benny wondered what she was thinking, but before he could ask her, she opened her mouth to say, “Ben!”
“What?” He asked dumbfoundly.
“Not you! Benjamin! Emmy’s…Um…Lainie’s dad!” she said, not knowing what to call him to Emmylyne.
“What about him?”
“He is an auror.” She said, her eyes sparkling with a plan.
“Didn’t he retire?”
“That’s not the point! The point is he is trained to deal with dark wizards. I bet we could ask Axel to help us too.” Samantha said, standing up from her chair. Getting ready to apparate.
“Sam, wait. We can’t just go barging into people’s homes and asking them to go against people. They don’t even know them. They plan these things before acting. We should wait until morning.”
“Benny, I don’t know how long they are going to keep Milo alive. He told me he would never give in to the dark arts. When that happens they are going to have no use for him. They will kill him. We need to do this now. I can’t… I don’t think I can live with myself if I left him to die.” Her eyes were shining with tears and Benny could see the passion heating up her eyes. This was something she had to do. He knew she was going to do it one way or another.
“Ok. We will go. Let me tell Mona I’m leaving first.” Benny said, giving in and standing from his chair.
“I…Um…” she stammered.
Benny looked back at her and raised an eyebrow. “What?”
“I don’t want to tell people about all this. They will only think bad of Milo.” She bowed her head in shame.
“I’m not going to lie to my wife.” Benny stated.
“She…Ok.” Samantha said, beginning to blush at her request for him to lie to his wife.
He knew she was ashamed that she asked him of this, so he said, “She won’t tell Mum or Dad. I promise you.”
“Thanks.” She said her cheeks still a ruby color.

Heehee More! Chapter 16
Benny walked quickly, but with silent steps toward his bedroom. He blindly, pushed open the door, and closed it tight behind him. Even though it was dark, he could still see the small figure of his wife, snuggled up in the covers. Affectionately, so he wouldn’t startle her, he ran his hand down her cheek, calling softly into her ear, “Mona. Mona wake up.”
From the glow of the moon, he saw her eyes open hazily. She looked at him curiously and sat up. “Whats wrong?” her gentle voice was like honey to his ears.
“I can’t explain everything right now, but I need to leave. My sister is in trouble.” He said in a calm voice. Her presence always had that effect on him. He was at peace when she was around.
“Is she ok? What happened?” She asked alarm coating her butternut scotch eyes.
“Yeah she is fine. I’ll explain everything when I get back.” Benny said, trying to ease the fear from her eyes. But instead, they creased in suspicion.
“You’re not just going to the park aren’t you?” she said, reading him easily. He could never keep anything from her. In ways he loved the connection, but now, he really didn’t want her to worry. But he was still unable to lie to her.
“Not really. You remember Milo right?” he said, studying her face.
“Yes of course. The little Greek boy.” She chortled.
“Yeah. I guess he was kidnapped by some Death Eaters.” He said reluctantly.
He could immediately see the change in her wide eyes. Her body tensed up and she felt in the dark for his hand. Automatically as if they were magnets, his hand found hers, and he tried to squeeze the troubled look off her face. “Ben…”
“Don’t worry. Nothing is going to happen to me. I promise.” He whispered to her, bringing her close to his chest.
“How am I supposed to believe that? You didn’t even graduate from school.” She said anxiously, reminding him of his thoughts earlier. The words stung, but he let them go.
“We are going to go visit some people who know how to catch Death Eaters. I wouldn’t try doing this alone.” He said defensively.
Benny could still see the skepticism in her eyes, but she pulled him close to her again and held on to him tightly. She was not going to come between helping his sister, and it made him love her even more. “Please don’t let anything happen to you. I’ve seen enough of you being in the hospital.” She said with a light chuckle.
“I won’t. I love you.”
“I love you too. Be careful.” She said, tilting her head up to gaze up at him. He smiled warmly down at her and placed his lips softly onto hers.
Reluctantly, he stood up and walked away from her. He heard her sigh behind him and lay back down onto her pillow. He wished it wasn’t like this. It hurt him in every way imaginable to see Mona upset. All he wanted was to make her happy. But he needed to help Samantha. She was his little sister after all, and she was important. Benny was grateful that Mona understood this and didn’t beg him to stay. He had no idea what he would’ve done if Mona asked him to stay. Just thinking about it was making his head spin.
Quietly, he shut the door behind him and turned back toward the kitchen. A shadow behind him, told Benny he wasn’t alone in the hallway. Benny turned and saw his younger brother standing before him.
“Danny. What are you doing up?” Benny asked, trying to keep the edge from off his face. The last thing he wanted was to bring Danny into this. But he was already informed.
“Can I just say good bye to Sammy?” his gentle voice asked in the dark. Of course he had heard everything. He probably woke up the minute Samantha arrived. Benny knew how sensitive Danny’s ears were. After about thirteen years of being a quiet, curious boy, his hearing senses had heightened. They had enhanced after Benny’s accident, and he had grown mute. But in place of talking, Danny listened. He listened to the sound of the bird chirping in the morning. Concentrated on the mild whispers around him. He could hear a pin drop in the grass, while he sat inside. Danny once told him that if he listened hard enough, he could hear people think. So Benny was nowhere surprised when Danny knew Samantha was here. Benny didn’t have to ask to know that Danny knew everything.
“Ok.” Benny said, not bothering to argue with him. He could never really say no to Danny. He meant so much to Benny, that it hurt him to see him disappointed.
Silently, they walked together back into the kitchen. Samantha froze when she saw Danny walk in, but relaxed as he began to blush before her. “Be careful Sammy.”
”I should’ve known you would be listening.” She said with a teasing smile.
His cheeks turned a vivid pink and he looked down at the ground. Samantha stood up and wrapped her arms around him. His arms snaked around her waist and he laid his head on her chest. It didn’t take a genius to realize how much Danny had missed Samantha. She must have realized this because she whispered to him, “Ill be around more. I promise. As soon as I have Milo back.”
Danny nodded and pulled away from her. “Don’t die please.”
Samantha flinched at this and Benny stepped toward them. “Nobody is dieing. We will be back soon Dan-Dan.”
His chocolate brown, puppy dog eyes watched them with a sort of calm expression. He was trying to not let himself think of all the bad things that could happen. Benny was glad of this thoughtful gesture and gave him a brief hug. Then he turned to Samantha.
“First stop is the Lawley’s.”

| Shipper Queen Hippie Quad I might just get around to posting the whole story tonight Chapter 17
Benny reappeared in front of a pale yellow house. The night was still young, even with Samantha’s story being told, and not a thing stirred outside. He turned as a pop announced Samantha had arrived. Without looking back at her, he walked to the front door and knocked. It took him three tries before it opened.
A man with shiny, dark brown curly hair and a heavy-eyed expression answered the door. Sleep still coated his coffee brown eyes. He looked at them for a second as if trying to remember their names, and then said, “Most people like to sleep around this hour, but what can I do you two for?”
“I’m sorry Benjamin for waking you, but this is important.” Samantha spoke, stepping closer to him. He must of saw the restlessness in her eyes, because he stepped back to let them enter.
The both of them walked inside and followed Benjamin to the kitchen. He turned on an overhead light and put his hand out for them to sit down. He took a seat across from Samantha and waited for her to explain. Samantha looked intimated by him, and that confused Benny. She was never this shy.
“What happened? Has something happened?” Benjamin asked, his expression becoming more wary.
“I…well I don’t really know where to begin.” Samantha admitted. She didn’t know how much to tell him, Benny realized. She had told him she didn’t want to bring anybody into this. But she was going to have to talk, if they had any chance for Benjamin helping them.
“Why don’t you start with the problem.” Benjamin suggested, his coffee colored eyes urging her to go on.
“The thing is, Milo was kidnapped by some, erm, dark wizards. And I can’t just let them kill him. I have to do something.” Samantha said, her voice trembling.
“Who is Milo? And what dark wizards?” Benjamin said, his voice was more guarded now.
“Milo is somebody I really care about and I need to save him. I need your help.” Samantha said, her eyes shining with her plea. Benny noted how she avoided his second question.
“You want me to help you go against some dark wizards?” he said, his eyebrow raising.
“Yes please. I don’t know who else to go to.”
“What about the ministry?”
“I don’t want to bring them into this.” She said quietly.
“Why?”
“I…have my reasons.” She said, her eyes not making contact with Benjamin’s.
“I’m sorry Sam. But I’m retired. I don’t think I can help you.” Benjamin was in his thirties and nobody ever had to question why he retired. Years back he was kidnapped and got pretty messed up over it. The ministry appreciated everything he had done for them, so he had received a small fortune from them, to try and make up for his kidnapping. He wasn’t filthy rich, but it was enough that he never had to work again.
Benny had been afraid he would say this and looked sharply over to Samantha. Her face was beginning to panic, but only Benny could see this. She still kept up a cool face, but he could see the alarm in her eyes.
“I wouldn’t come to you if you weren’t one of the best aurors around.” She said, trying to persuade him into helping them.
“I’m hardly the best.” Benjamin grimaced.
“You have a plaque in the ministry dedicated to you and your tremendous bravery.” Samantha defended. Benjamin frowned at her.
Benny saw that this was not going the way they wanted so he stood. “I don’t think he can help us Sammy. Thank you Benjamin. We are sorry for waking you.”
“It’s not that I don’t want to help you. I just…” he looked off as if reliving a bad memory. A shiver ran down his spine and he closed his eyes.
“Maybe Axel can help us.” Samantha muttered, slowly getting to her feet.
“Axel?” Benjamin said, his eyes flashing open.
“Did I hear my name?” a groggy voice said in the doorway. Benny took one look at Axel, and knew what he had to do.
Credit for Axel Phoenix goes to Shan (Phoenix 8390)!

If he could convince Axel to help them, then Benjamin wouldn’t be hard to pull in. The only thing was, would Benjamin see what he was trying to do?
“What’s going on? What are you all doing here?” he yawned.
“Axel, you are an auror right?” Benny said, not looking at Samantha or Benjamin whose stares he could feel on the back of his head.
“Yeah.” He said slowly, suddenly alert.
“You swore to help people and bring Death Eater’s to their knees right?” Benny continued.
“Yes.” Axel said, his sea-green eyes flashing.
“Somebody my sister really cares about is in danger. He was kidnapped by three dark wizards, who may have taken him to where more may be present. We really need your help.” Benny finished, waiting for Axel to think it over.
And thought it over he did. He ran a hand through his hair and looked over at Samantha. Standing up straighter, he said in a clear voice, “Of course I’ll help you.”
A shaky smile fell onto Samantha’s face and she whispered, “Thank you.”
Axel smiled back at her, before turning his gaze onto Benjamin. Benny could see his plan working before Axel even opened his mouth. “They asked you first didn’t they?”
“Since it’s my house, I don’t think they were looking for you.” Benjamin said sarcastically.
Benny tensed up at these words, and he could see Samantha’s nervous look in her chocolate brown eyes. But Axel laughed at these words. He then looked intently at his mate. “What did you say?”
Benjamin stayed quiet, and Benny stepped back to let the two men talk. He closed the little distance that was between Samantha, and placed his arm on her shoulders. Taking her hand into his, he soothingly rubbed his thumb across the top of her hand.
After a few minutes of silence, Benjamin broke the tension by saying, “I can’t Ax. I just can’t anymore.” He looked down ashamed.
“It’s ok Benji. I’ve been through the same thing as you have. The scars are still there. I know they are. But they need our help. How can you turn away from them?” He didn’t sound mad. He didn’t even sound judgmental. His tone was normal, like he had just asked how the weather was.
“I’m not as strong as you are Axel. I can’t do it anymore. I quit my job because I couldn’t climb back on the horse like you could.” He looked away then, ashamed, his face troubled.
Benny felt bad for bringing Benjamin into this when he was obviously still hurting over the past. “You don’t have to help- ” But he stopped mid-sentence, as Axel put one hand up to quiet him.
“Benji.” Axel said in a velvet voice. Benjamin looked up at him, a pain struck look on his face. They looked at each other for a while, as if they were having a silent conversation with their eyes.
“Do you want to get back on the horse?” Axel asked calmly. Benjamin looked at Axel again in that silent conversation, before turning to gaze at Benny and Samantha, who were the only ones sitting. After a second, a decision crossed his coffee colored eyes. He turned away from them, running both his hands roughly through his curly hair, exhaling loudly.
“Ok. I’ll do it.” He finally said.
“There’s the Benjamin Lawley I know.” Axel said, his voice enthusiastic.
“Lets go catch some Death eaters.” Benjamin replied, his eyes full of determination.

“So you are sure there are only three?” Axel asked, preparing the raid and fight that would come.
“I’m not even sure he is where I last saw him. They had to have moved him.” Samantha replied with a tortured look on her face.
“Where are we supposed to go then?” Benjamin cut in. He had been quiet the past hour as Axel got as much information on the situation as he could. But now, hesitation crossed his face as he registered that they had no stable location they were to appear when they left.
“I don’t know.” Samantha said slowly, bowing her head down.
“Well we need something. We don’t have time to be going all over Greece to find them. If they are still even in Greece.” Benjamin cut in again. Samantha could see the pain falling onto her face as if Benjamin kept on taking stabs at her. Benny knew it was hurting her that Benjamin was making it seem like they would never find him, but he also knew Benjamin was just trying to be thorough.
“We can start at his grandmother’s house. But I don’t think they will be there.” Samantha said in a small voice.
Benjamin opened his mouth to say something, but was distracted at a tapping sound at the window. The four of them turned to see a black owl. Axel strode over and let the owl enter. It circled around their heads, before dropping a note in front of Samantha. Then it shot out the kitchen window like its feathers were on fire. The three of them turned back to look at Samantha with curious eyes. She picked up the note and unfolded it.
“Its an address.” She said with wonder in her eyes.
“It can be a trap.” Benjamin said, as Axel took the note from Samantha.
“I recognize that owl. It was the same one that warned me and Milo to go. If we had listened to it more strongly…Milo would still be here.” Samantha said, her words choppy at the end.
“Who was it from?” Axel asked, his sea green eyes looking at her intently.
“I don’t know. But it’s the same handwriting. They are good, whoever they are.” Samantha said positively.
“Should we follow it?” Axel said, only speaking to Benjamin now. Benny watched them attentively, hoping Benjamin would be optimistic for once.
An initiative look took up his smooth face. He thought it over and looked like he was trying to find something wrong with the idea of using an address that was sent by an unknown person who would intentionally sent them to a place full of Death Eaters.
“If we do use this address, we should bring more than just the two of us.” Benjamin said, accepting that they were going to have to follow this lead.
“I’m going too.” Samantha said, her head shooting up.
The two aurors looked at her, and couldn’t seem to argue with her. “If she goes I go.” Benny said loyally.
Benjamin groaned, and ran his hand through his shiny curls apprehensively. Axel had the same look on his face, but he kept his actions to himself. Instead he stood up and walked to the small fireplace in the kitchen.
“Wait! Who are you going to speak to?” Samantha said, an anxious look spreading on her face.
“Edmund Brown. He was one of the best Head Aurors of our time.” Axel said, a puzzled look escaping from his face.
“Head Auror? No. We can’t bring him into this.” Samantha said franticly.
“Why?” Axel said, raising an eyebrow.
She looked away, biting her lip. Benny wasn’t entirely sure why she didn’t want to bring the Ministry in, so he said, “Just tell them the truth Sammy. They are here to help us after all.”
“I just don’t want many people to know about this. I don’t want to bring any more people than I absolutely have to.” She said shakily.
“Why though? The more aurors we have with us, the better chance of us all coming out unharmed.” Axel said in a calm voice.
“Its not only that.” She mumbled.
“Then what is it?” Benjamin asked this time. His voice wasn’t sharp anymore, but compassionate.
“If the ministry is brought into this, then people will find out about this. My grandparents. My siblings. My dad. My mom…” she cut off, trying to control her emotions.
“I don’t understand. You are scared of the publicity?” Benjamin said, confusion clouding his eyes.
“No. That’s not it.” She said, biting her lip so hard, Benny could almost feel it. He began rubbing her back in slow, soothing circles, trying to calm her into going on.
“If we all get away, meaning the Death Eaters too…I’m scared of what they will do to the people I love. They will surely want revenge and I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if something happened to my family because of me.” She finally admitted.
“How will bringing in the ministry hurt?” Axel asked.
“Because they will know how to find her easily if she uses the ministry. They will know she lives in London for one thing, cause it isn’t Greek Aurors that come. They can find anybody they set their minds on. As soon as they find out it was the London Aurors that came, they will know she and her family is here. Plus there is no way we would be able to keep the Daily Prophet out of this. You know them. A story is a story. Then they would kick up some rocks until they find what they are looking for. She’s right. We can’t bring the Ministry in.” Samantha wasn’t the one who spoke these words though; it was Benjamin.
“So we are going to do this alone?” Axel asked skeptically.
”I know somebody who can help us. He is an Auror for the ministry, but he can easily be mistaken for an Irishman.” Benjamin chortled. He walked over to the fireplace and grabbed a handful of gray dust. “Bishop’s House.” He threw the floo powder into the fireplace and green flames exploded in the frame. Kneeling onto his knees, he placed his head into the dancing green fire.
Benny waited patiently as Benjamin talked on the other end. However, he could feel the impatience from Samantha next to him. Axel stood twirling his wand absentmindedly next to them. It was like that for several minutes, before Benjamin finally pulled his head from out of the fireplace.

“Success. Casey is on his way. He is going to bring his sister too. She is new to the auror team, but Casey says she is good at what she does.” Benjamin said, a smile touching his lips.
“They are still in the ministry though. Won’t they report this?” Samantha said unseeingly.
“Not if I ask them not to. Casey is a good man.” Benjamin replied.
The green inferno danced more quickly, and a man stepped from out of the crate. He had blazing red hair and stunning blue eyes. Freckles tickled over his nose, but he in no way looked like a little boy. His arms were buff and he wore a magnificently ruby cloak. His face was swimming with fatigue, but determination was set in his eyes.
“Casey, this is Samantha and Benny Edwards. And the other is nobody important.” Benjamin introduced, a teasing smile following as he looked at Axel. Axel responded by throwing Benjamin into a headlock. They both struggled for a minute or two, before Axel released him, the laughter reaching his eyes.
The fireplace had begun to hiss again, and they all turned to see a young woman with silky blond hair walk out. She had the same stunning blue eyes as her brother’s, with pale skin. She couldn’t look more British if she tried. They could get away with Axel and Benjamin. Axel was from Spanish heritage, so he had the brown skin that wouldn’t give him away. Benjamin had the pale skin of a British person, but his curly brown locks almost made him look American. Benny and Samantha both had the bronzed skin tone of the Greeks. This woman however, she was a sunflower on a rosebush.
“This is Ava.” Casey introduced. She had a serene look on her face as she acknowledged the room.
“Don’t you stand out in a room full of beautiful people.” Benjamin chuckled, but he was stating exactly what Benny was thinking.
An overconfident smile crossed her lips and she said, “ I don’t always.”
“Ava is good with disguises. She does better than most people on the team.” Casey said, his expression serious.
Axel snorted. “Most people?”
“Ok everybody.” Casey smiled lightly at Axel, exchanging a look that held a private joke.
“I think we are missing something here.” Samantha said, her eyes full of wonder.
Casey said nothing but smiled over at his sister. She rolled her eyes, but a blissful smile was on her lips as she closed her blue orbs. Before their eyes, Ava began to change. First her shiny blond hair that had reached the middle of her back seconds before, was now beginning to shrink up to her shoulders. It was also turning a charcoal black. The color of her skin was growing darker too. It was soon darker than Axel’s Spanish skin tone. When she reopened her eyes, they were the same color as Benjamin’s, a deep brown.
Benny must have had a stunned look on his face, because she giggled at him. He immediately began recomposing himself and looked over at Samantha. She looked embarrassed for staring also, and had turned to look at Benny. They both chuckled at each other before turning back to the rest.
“That would come in handy.” Benjamin laughed.
“Ava is a metamorphamagus.” Casey said, his eyes shining with delight at his sister.
“So does she pass?” Axel laughed also.
“I think she does.” Benjamin said, turning to the two at the table.
“Yes. Thank you for coming.” Samantha said appreciatively.
Ava smiled at them politely, then turned back to the men as they began making plans to leave.

Benny reappeared next to a bush and ducked down into it. Axel and Benjamin were waiting for him and motioned for him to stay down. One more pop. Benny turned and saw Samantha kneeling down. She locked eyes with him. She couldn’t hide the fear in her chocolate brown eyes even if she tried.
After a moment of nothing, Benjamin stood and walked over to them. He kept on looking around him, searching. Axel followed after him. He spoke while putting a hand on his nervous mate. “We are about fifty feet away from the address the note said.”
“They have the place they are keeping him protected. Nobody is allowed to apparate near it or out of it. I accidentally apparated too close and ended up in Italy.” Benjamin said, with a slight smile.
“How did you know it was Italy?” Samantha asked.
“Just a hunch.” He chuckled.
“We are going to have to walk a little. Casey and Ava took the south side and will send a patronus our way when they know it’s secure.” Axel said.
“So now we just wait?” Benny asked.
“Yeah. If a patronus doesn’t come in the next ten minutes then it’s not safe and we need to leave.” Axel replied, his eyes unreadable.
They waited impatiently for anything. Benny was half expecting a group of cloaked figures to come greet them, but nothing. He looked down at his watch, and saw it was three in the morning. Time had gone by since he had woken up from a sound in the living room. The strange thing was, he was wide-awake. He had probably only gotten maybe two hours of sleep tonight, but he felt very alert. Looking over at Samantha, he could tell she was about as tired as he was.
Time went by and Benny was starting to grow anxious, when suddenly a white light was coming toward them. Benny grew tense and was ready to run, when Benjamin put a hand on his shoulder.
“Its Casey’s patronus.” He said, watching the white light come closer. Benny relaxed and saw the white light turn into a shape of a tiger. It ran with elegance and grace that no other tiger could and stopped in front of Benjamin.
“Safe. All clear.” It said in a deep voice. Benjamin nodded and the white tiger disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Benjamin then took his wand out and a white lemur escaped from the tip. It then took off running in the direction the tiger had come.
“Lets go.” Axel said, waiting for them to stand. Benny took Samantha’s hand and pulled her to her feet. He didn’t let go of her hand as they made their way across the field they had reappeared in. Benjamin walked in front of them, leading them into the direction of an old factory.
A bundle of bushes surrounded the factory, and that was where they stopped to hide in. The place looked deserted and empty. Maybe the note had been lying or a trap after all…
“Are we going to go inside?” Samantha whispered.
“Not yet. We watch first. See if we see anything. Look for any sign of movement.” Axel said calmly. Samantha nodded and began scanning the place. Benny looked around also, but saw nothing.
It didn’t look like anybody was there or had been there for a while. He was about to say this to the others, when Samantha took in a sharp intake of breath next to him. He quickly turned his eyes onto her, and saw that hers were wide and she was almost struggling to breath. Turning his head to where she was looking at, he found three figured walking in the dark. Two were hooded and holding the other roughly, by his arms.

“Don’t do anything. Keep quiet.” Benjamin instructed in a low whisper. Benny barely caught his words. His hand tightened over Samantha’s hand. She was beginning to shake.
The black-cloaked figures directed the boy, who was easily as tall as Benny, into a four-walled room. They shut the door behind them and a light was switched on. Benny looked over at Samantha and saw that she was ready to lose it. He squeezed her hand and she turned sharply to look at him. Giving her a reassuring smile, he hoped she would be able to do this. He also prayed that she wouldn’t get hurt. If she got hurt…he couldn’t finish the thought.
After an excruciating long moment of waiting, the door reopened and the two cloak figures left. Leaving, whom Benny could only guess was Milo, in the room. As soon as the cloaks were out of sight Samantha stood hurriedly. Axel grabbed her arm and pulled her back down.
“What are you doing? Milo is in there right now! Alone. We can save him and nobody will know.” Samantha said so quickly her words were almost slamming into each other.
“Wait Sam.” Axel said calmly, and Benjamin raised his wand again. Another white lemur escaped from the tip of his wand and ran away.
“Do you want me to go first?” Axel was only talking to Benjamin now.
“I’ll go! I can get him!” Samantha said hysterically. Benny hushed her by pulling her to his side, away from the other two, so they can talk.
“’Ill go first. I’ll flash a light toward you if it is safe.” Benjamin said and stealthily crept out of the bushes. He made his way down the small slope toward the room and bent down under the window. Benny watched, as he looked both ways before slowly raising his head so his eyes were level with the window. After scanning the room for a second, he ducked down again. He then turned back to the three of them and a dull light came from his wand.
Samantha automatically shot up. Once again Axel grabbed onto her arm. “Don’t do anything stupid. You need to be as quiet as you can.”
“Are you calling me stupid?” Samantha said, growing defensive.
“No time to get mad. Follow me, silently.” Axel replied and stepped out from behind the bushes. Samantha went next, and Benny followed after both of them. They ran on their tippy toes toward Benjamin and ducked down under the window on the other side of the door.
“Go through the door. I’ll stand guard out here.” Axel said. Benjamin nodded and turned the doorknob. Axel hurriedly pushed Samantha inside and Benny followed after her. Benjamin entered after them and shut the door behind him, his wand always at the ready.
Benny looked around the room expecting to see a desk or some filing cabinets, but there was nothing in the room. Not a loose paper or a pen. The room was empty. Except for the boy with mahogany brown hair, slumped in a corner. His hands were behind his back and his head was leaning against the wall, his eyes closed. From the angle Benny was standing, the boy looked so much older than nineteen. His face was screwed up in pain, but Benny could see nothing wrong with him physically.
When the door snapped shut, his eyes flew open and they had to adjust to the sudden light. They landed on Benjamin first and his eyes narrowed, but then he caught sight of Samantha who was running toward him.
“Samantha?” he said, but he didn’t sound at all relieved to see her. It sounded the exact opposite.
“Milo. I’m here.” Samantha said and pulled out her wand. She pointed it first at the rope that was wrapped around his ankles. They flew off instantly then she motioned him to kneel forward so she could get the ones around his wrists. He did what she asked without saying anything, and the ropes slashed off his wrists. He began rubbing at the spot where the ropes had held him together, his honey colored eyes never leaving Samantha.
Her arms were then wrapping around Milo’s neck. With the same look of unwelcome, he closed the embrace around her waist. They sat on the ground with their arms wrapped around each other, and Benny felt like he was intruding on something. He turned his head toward Benjamin, who wasn’t looking at the couple on the ground either.
“You shouldn’t be here Samantha.” Milo said in a low tone. Benny could sense his disapproving tone.
“I couldn’t just leave you.” Samantha retorted.
“I told you to.” Milo said. Benny turned his gaze back on them and saw Milo looking furious. But that couldn’t describe the look on Samantha’s face. Her face was struggling over whether to cry or scrunch down in an infuriated look.
Before Samantha could reply to him however, the door on the other side opened. Nobody had noticed that there were two doors in the room. A man with a black cloak stood in the doorway, and Benny saw the look of shock in his eyes. With one quick flick, Benny was flying and he hit the wall.
“NO!” the cloaked figured roared and ran toward Benjamin. Benjamin turned swiftly toward him, but was too slow for the figure. His wand shot out from his hand and flew toward where Benny lay. Benny groaned, but got back up quickly. He then watched as the Death Eater stopped in mid-step toward Benjamin.
“Matthaios.” Milo said from across the room. Benny’s attention was grabbed toward the corner of the room now. Milo had one hand placed over Samantha’s mouth and the other holding her wand at the black-cloaked figure.
“Samantha.” Benny said, his mind immediately thinking traitor as he looked at the hand placed over her lips.
Milo must of saw the murderous look on Benny’s face, because he took his hand off of Samantha’s face. “Don’t scream ok?” he said to her. She nodded her head obediently, her eyes bigger than golf balls.
Benjamin walked over to where Benny stood and picked up his wand from off the ground. His eyes didn’t leave Matt’s face. Across the room, Milo let his arm go limp, the spell breaking over his brother. Matt quickly turned to where Milo and Samantha stood, his eyes darkening.
“What is she doing here?” Milo asked in a dangerous whisper.
“I-” but before Matt could answer; a loud knock came from the door. It flew open and Axel was shouting for them all to get out.
“Three more! We need to go now!” he yelled. He then made contact with the dark figure standing in the middle of the room. He raised his wand at him, but Milo ran in front of him.
“Don’t!” he shouted, his eyes blazing. Benny couldn’t be more confused, but Benjamin was yelling for him to run.
Not needing telling twice, Benny ran out the door and took out his wand. Sure enough three dark cloaked figures were running toward them. Benny looked around for Samantha and saw she was pulling Milo out the door. Suddenly two more Death Eaters were coming toward them. Now they had them coming from the right and the left.
“Get to the line!” Axel yelled, shooting a red light toward one of the Death Eaters. Benjamin began helping him, but it was useless. They were outnumbered. Benny began running up toward their old hiding place and heard Samantha and Milo running behind them. Benny never remembered running so hard in his life. He stopped an inch to test if he was out of the boundaries to apparate, but Milo pushed him forward.
“Not yet.” He said through gritted teeth. Benny took off running again, only now hearing the fight down below. When Milo abruptly stopped, Benny did too. Then he was spinning on the spot. He reappeared inside Benjamin’s kitchen. It was empty still, and Benny took the time to catch his breath. After a couple of minutes with the kitchen remaining empty, Benny tried not to panic.

Five minutes had passed and the kitchen remained empty. Ten minutes. Thirty minutes. Forty-five minutes. Benny was pacing the length of room, when a pop came from the living room. He rushed into the room, hoping to see his little sister. Disappointment sank in, when he saw it was only Axel.
“We caught three, but three more got away. One we had but was able to slip through our fingers. Casey isn’t going to like that.” Axel said, a dissatisfied expression taking over his face.
“Where is Samantha?” Benny asked, his voice cracking.
“What?” Axel asked, confused, as another pop came from the corner of the room. Benny turned sharply and groaned when he saw it was only Benjamin.
“Nice to see you too Benny.” Benjamin chortled, not at all insulted. A triumphant smile took up most of his face, but it faltered as he saw the look on Benny’s face. “Whats wrong? What happened?”
“Sammy never came back.” Benny said, shutting his eyes to try and keep the alarm from rising any higher.
“She what!?”
“When was the last time you saw her?”
Benny opened his eyes and saw that Axel was the one to ask the last question. “I saw her right before I apparated. I figured we were all meeting back here.”
“Do you think she maybe went back to your house?” Axel asked logically.
“I don’t know. Do you mind if I owl home?” Benny asked walking back into the kitchen.
“Sure. There is parchment in the drawer.” Benjamin replied, following him.
Benny walked to the counter and pulled out some paper and a quill. He then set on the counter and wrote, Sammy,
If you are home come to Benjamin’s now! If somebody else gets this, give it to her please.
-Benny
The note was short, but he wasn’t writing a letter. Benny looked up and saw Benjamin opening the window. He let out a low high pitch whistle and ducked back inside. After a second, a russet colored owl flew into the window and landed on the counter. His big black owl eyes scanned the room, and hooted when he saw Benjamin.
Benny walked over to the owl, and it stuck it’s leg out when it saw the note in Benny’s hand. “Send this to the Edward’s house please.” He asked after tying the note to the owl’s leg. The owl hooted at him, then flew swiftly out the kitchen.
“She knew to come here right?” Axel asked slowly, leaning against the doorframe.
“We all agreed to meet here. Where are Casey and Ava? Are they ok?” Benny asked only realizing now that the two weren’t there.
“They are taking the three Death Eaters to Azkaban right now. Don’t worry about them. They actually had fun tonight.” Axel rolled his eyes.
“That makes three.” Benjamin said quietly, a smile softening the look on his face. Axel turned his head toward him and they made eye contact.
“Looks like you and Sammy have woken Benjamin up from retirement.” Axel said to Benny, not taking his eye off of his mate, a wide grin spreading on his lips.
“Looks like they have. Emmy won’t be happy.” Benjamin replied with a chuckle.
Benny would have been happy for Benjamin, if he wasn’t so anxious for Samantha. Where was she? Was she ok? Was Milo with her? Did maybe something happen when he apparated to safety? Did maybe they get caught? Was she in trouble somewhere while he sat in Benjamin’s kitchen?
Benny didn’t realize his head was in his hands until he felt something poking his shoulder. He looked up and found the russet owl standing on the table, his leg reaching out toward him. Benny took the note a little too eagerly, making the owl fly away, looking ruffled. But he didn’t notice, as he unrolled the note and saw it was as short as his was, and just as concerned. Benny,
She’s not here. I haven’t seen her since you two left.
-Danny
“She’s not there.” Benny said shakily.
“Then where is she?” Benjamin asked.
“I don’t know.”

The rest is in Sammy's Point of View Chapter 24 The hour before
Sam run as hard as she could. She still couldn’t believe they had gotten away. Well they hadn’t gotten away yet, but close enough. Milo held onto her hand tightly, and she strived to keep up with him. She could see Benny running a few paces ahead of them. When he started slowing down, she heard Milo say, “Not yet.” Benny sped up again and Sam tried to keep up with the boys. Behind her she could hear curses being shouted and frustrated yells. Trying to tune it out, she suddenly felt Milo stop next to her.
“Hold onto my hand tightly.” He said through gritted teeth. She did as she was told and the feeling of being sucked into a tube began. She held her breath and waited for it to be over. When the feeling stopped she looked around and realized they weren’t in Benjamin’s kitchen. She looked around trying not to panic.
“Milo. We have to go back to Benjamin’s house. That is where we were supposed to meet! We need to get back there!” Sam said her breath coming out harshly.
“Breath Samantha. We are at my Grandparent’s house. I need for you to trust me.” Milo said, turning to face her, an intense look on his face.
“Why are we here? Whats going on?” Sam said, her hands beginning to shake.
“Listen, you need to calm down.” Milo said, putting his hands on her arms. Trying to soothe her. But the look on his face was doing the exact opposite.
His replies were making her mad. Why wouldn’t he answer her? “Milo. I am not going to calm down until you tell me what it is going on.” She said stubbornly, shaking his hands off her.
He gave her a worried look and sighed. “Please Samantha. Just do what I tell you ok?”
“Do what?” she asked. But he didn’t answer her. Instead he grabbed her hand and dragged her to the corner of the room. He gently pulled her into a sitting position and kneeled down next to her.
“Whatever you do, don’t scream ok? I’ll be back before you know it. Don’t go anywhere. Don’t move until I tell you to.” Milo said and stood back up. He pointed her own wand at her and Sam’s eyes grew wide. But it wasn’t what she thought, and she felt a cold trickle go down her body. She looked down and saw that her body was blending in with the walls and the floor of the house. Curiously, she moved her hand up and saw that it was almost invisible to her.
“Stay here ok?” Milo said and spun on the spot. She had opened her mouth to say something but he was already gone.
Sam felt so alone and was trying hard not to freak out. She trusted Milo, for the most part. Pulling her knees to chest, she wrapped her arm around her legs and put her head into them. Trying to control her breathing, she wondered if staying here was the right thing. Benny had to be worrying about her. Would he try to come find her? What if something happened while he was searching for her? She wouldn’t be able to live with herself if something were to happen to her older brother.
Peaking up from out of her legs, she looked around the empty room. It was dark and the house had an eerie feeling to it. The last time she had been here, Milo was being tortured on the ground. And she had run away like a frightened cub. She hated herself for leaving, but if she hadn’t left, she wouldn’t have been able to save him. Where ever he was now.
How long has it been since he left? A few seconds? Minutes? Could have it already been an hour already? No. She was just overreacting. She needed to calm down. Taking in a deep breath, she began to count to a hundred. If she got to hundred before he came back, she would apparate to Benjamin’s. One…Two…Three…Four…
She got to forty-eight when a crack came from the middle of the room and somebody was running toward her. Filling her lungs up with oxygen, she was just about to scream, when the dark shadow threw themselves toward her and scrambled in the corner with their hands out.
“Samantha?!” Milo’s frantic voice whispered.
“Here.” Sam said, her teeth chattering, and it wasn’t from the cold.
Milo waved his hand out for her, and she grabbed it quickly. He then pointed the wand at himself and he began blending in with the background. When he was invisible to the naked eye, he pulled her close to him and she laid her head on his chest, scared of what was going to happen next.
“Don’t make a sound.” He whispered into her ear. She nodded her head and he pulled her closer into him. His arms wrapped around her protectively and she immediately felt safe.
Suddenly two more cracks filled the room, followed by a small pop. Three dark shadows filled the room and began searching the place. Goose bumps spread up and down Sam’s arm and it felt like somebody dumped a bucket of ice down her back. She pulled her self closer to Milo, and he squeezed her waist, warning her to not make a sound.
“The place is empty Thanos.” A familiar high-pitched voice said.
A string of cuss words followed after this proclamation and the sound of something breaking followed.
“Now, now Thanos. They couldn’t of gone far. Milo doesn’t know anywhere besides Greece. You know he likes to stay close to home.” Melania said.
“Matthaios. You are sure he told you here?” Thanos’ deep voiced boomed.
“Positive. He must have told me a lie. It looks like he no longer trusts me.” Matt said in a monotone.
More cursing came from Thanos. Sam could see the dark shadows moving around the living room. The biggest one, who she guessed was Thanos, was pacing the length of the room. The petite one, who she summed up as Melania, was fidgeting with her wand, nervously. The last shadow was standing completely still, not looking in their direction. His back was facing them, watching Thanos pace.
“We need to find him. It’s going to be harder now that Loanna, Kristopher, and Elizior was captured. Time to split up.” Thanos said.
“Where would we look?” Melania’s high-pitched voice sounded.
“All his usual spots. The house he was living in, the beach where he spent majority of his time with that girl, and somebody needs to stay here.”
“I will stay here to see if he does come back.” Matt said almost lazily.
“That is good Matthaios. Melania, go to Eros Rock. I will check the other house. Meet at the spot in one hour time.” Thanos ordered and with a crack he was gone.
“You fought well tonight Matthaios. You make an excellent Death Eater.” Melania said with much admiration. Then a pop came from where she stood and she too disappeared.

Sam watched as the last shadow, crossed the room and looked out the window. When something he saw satisfied him, he shut the blinds and walked over to the couch. He began whispering to himself, too low for Sam to hear.
Next thing she knew, Milo was standing up. He directed his wand at himself and he muttered the countercharm. His body began to go back to normal, exposing himself to the dark shadow on the couch. Sam shot up and put her hand on his arm. “Milo!” she said under her breath. But he misinterpreted what she thought because next thing she knew, he was muttering the countercharm for her. Now the both of them were exposed to the evil man in the room.
Matt stood up from his spot on the couch but didn’t make his way toward them. Milo took the first step. Sam fearfully grabbed his hand and pulled him back. “Milo no. He is one of them! He could kill us.”
“No. He won’t.” Milo said confidently.
“What are you talking about? He just kidnapped you!” Sam said hoarsely.
“No Samantha. He saved my life. He isn’t what you think.” Milo said, turning to look at her now.
“That is what he wants you to think. He was with them, Milo. He is a Death Eater.” Sam said, looking deeply into his eyes trying to get him to understand. Matt snorted in front of them and Milo actually cracked a smile.
“Am I that scary then?” Matt asked. A chill went down Sam’s spine when he spoke.
“You terrify me alright.” Milo retorted. Both of them began to laugh.
Many emotions began running through Sam at the exact same time. Fear that Matt was going to kill them any minute. Anger because Milo brought them back here to be found. Hurt and confusion because Milo was not taking any of this seriously and was laughing with the dark wizard in front of them. And regret for staying when Milo had told her to. She should of left when she had the chance. She couldn’t handle this anymore.
She stormed away from Milo and began toward the front door. Putting her hand out to reach for the doorknob, two things happened simultaneously. First, was Milo calling her name to stop, and second, strong-arms grabbing her from behind. She knew it wasn’t Milo trying to restrain her and she began to squirm angrily in the foreign arms. It was going to happen now. He was going to kill her. But she wasn’t going to go down without a fight. She stomped as hard as she could on his foot and elbowed Matt in the face. He let go of her, his hands reflexively going to his face. She made for the door again, but this time Milo stopped her.
“Samantha. It’s ok. Calm down please.” His voice said gently, hugging her to his chest.
“Let go of me Milo. Now!” she said, beginning to fight in his arms now.
“Just listen to me ok? If you really want to go, don’t use the front door. They have them wired magically, so they will know as soon as somebody walks through that door.” Milo said, and then let go of her. He looked down at the ground indifferently, not meeting her eye. Matt still had his hand to his nose, but was keeping his distance.
Sam didn’t know what to do. She wanted answers. She wanted none of this to ever have happened. She wanted to go home. She wanted things to go back to normal. But none of that looked likely. She didn’t know what to do. Sam always knew what to do. Not knowing put her in this helpless state of mind. Sam had never felt so helpless in her life. It frightened her more than anything that had happened tonight.
When Milo basically let her go, she couldn’t help but let the tears run down her face. None of this made sense. Why did it all seem wrong? Her head felt like exploding. Milo was just letting her go, like he didn’t even care. This wasn’t like him.
“They got to you didn’t they? You are one of them now, aren’t you?” she whispered, not having the energy to speak any louder.
But Milo had heard her, and his head snapped up looking straight into her eyes. He walked with quick steps so he was in front of her and put both his hands on her cheek. “I told you I would never turn and I have never lied to you.” He said a long ache coating his honey colored eyes.
She couldn’t look in his eyes anymore. It was too intense. She shut her eyes, her chin quivering from the sob that wanted to come from her lips.
“Samantha. Please look at me.” Milo’s said in a silky voice.
She opened her eyes slowly, and saw a longing in his eyes. He wanted her to understand, but he didn’t know how to say it. “Just please tell me everything. Don’t leave anything out.”

A sorrowful look crossed his face. He let go of her face and turned away from her. “I…can’t.” he said painfully.
“Why not?” she demanded. After everything he had put her through tonight, she deserved an explanation.
He didn’t say anything but looked at the ground, guiltily. Matt walked over to Milo and put his hands on Milo’s shoulders. The gesture made her jump. She almost expected for Matt to hit Milo. But Matt only seemed like he was comforting his little brother now. She listened closely, as Matt said something to him.
“You should tell her.” He said softly.
“She is going to think I am a monster.” Milo said running his hand apprehensively through his hair.
“I won’t think you are a monster. But I do think that you feel I can’t handle what ever it is you are keeping from me. Do you think I’m not strong enough? Do you just see me as a weak little girl? Damsel in distress? Those thought hurt me more than what ever it is you are keeping from me.” Sam said, crossing her arms over her chest.
“Talk to her.” Matt said and walked away from them, taking a seat across the room in an armchair. Sam was grateful for the little privacy they got and walked toward Milo. His back was still to her when she stopped a few steps away from him.
“Milo?” She said tentatively. Slowly he turned around to face her. There was so much pain on his face that she almost took a step back. The deep mournful look on his face took her by surprise.
“I…There is a reason why Matt is a Death Eater right now.” Milo said slowly. Sam searched his face, but couldn’t read what he was thinking.
“I asked him to become one.” He said and looked straight into her face, waiting for her reaction.
She kept a cool face, even though her head was screaming, and said, “What? How could you ask him to do that?” Her voice squeaked in all the wrong places and she mentally kicked herself.
He closed his eyes, tightly. Not liking the question. He looked so vulnerable, like she had just hit him in the face.
“He did it for you.” Matt spoke up.
Sam turned sharply to look over at Matt. He was sitting on the edge of the armchair, his arms on his knees and his head resting in his hands. When Sam didn’t say anything, he took his head out from his hands and stood up. He staggered to where she stood, and stopped a few feet away from her.
“Do you remember that night on the beach? Where Milo and me started yelling in Greek? The same night that we moved Evania out of this house?” Matt said intently, trying to get her to remember.
“Evania?” Sam asked, questionably.
“Our Gram.” Matt replied.
“Yeah. I remember. What about it?”
“That was the night Thanos came to the house and told me I had a choice to join them or die. He told me I had the night to come up with a decision. Normally he makes people choose then and there, but he gave me time because I am his son. After he left, I went to the beach where I knew Milo was. I was angry. I blamed him for all this happening. I had no reason to, but I did. We could have been long gone after Thanos came to the house, but Milo wouldn’t leave.” He sighed and went on. “When he first started seeing you, Evania made us both talk about our choices. She knew they would be coming for Milo or me soon. So she made us plan. I told Milo the only thing I want to do is keep him safe. I promised Kali I would and I am not going to break that promise. Milo came up with a solution that was so horrible that I was outraged at first.”
“And that was for you to become a Death Eater?” Sam asked slowly. Matt smiled weakly at her.
“To turn spy. I would be able to warn him when they were coming for him and he would run. Even though the idea sounded logical, I hated it. If it was only the two of us, we could have run then. But he wouldn’t leave you. So that night at the beach he begged me to turn spy. He wanted to be with you and I could tell it was more than just a fling. So I went back to Thanos the next day and accepted his offer. We decided it was too dangerous for Evania to stay, so Milo and I put her into hiding. I kept the house to keep up the charade. It was me who sent you the note to “Go Now” It was also me who sent you the address on how to get to the warehouse they were keeping Milo.”
Milo had remained quiet the entire time Matt told the story. But now he turned his head sharply in Matt’s direction, his eyes on fire. “That was you? You sent her directions to where she could have been killed?” his voice sharp and coated with fury.
“I was going to come find you anyways. He just told me where to look.” Sam said, actually defending Matt.
“You could have been killed Samantha!” Milo shot at her.
“So could have you.” She retorted, not standing down.
“Matt wouldn’t have let that happen.” He said his eyes focused intently on her chocolate brown ones.
“How did I know that? I still thought Matt was there to kill you or turn you into a Death Eater!” Sam shouted. Milo flinched and looked away from her, focusing on Matt now.
“How could you Matt? Do you really hate Samantha that much that you would send her to get killed?”
“Don’t start Milo. I don’t hate Sam. There was no other way to get you out of there unless I had a distraction. They brought the distraction I needed to get you to safety.” Matt said piercingly.
“There had to be another way. I didn’t want her to be there. I didn’t want her to see all of that. But now…she won’t ever forget it! It’s going to be burned into her memory forever! I-”
“Milo stop it.” Sam said suddenly.
He fell silent and looked away from the both of them. Sam saw his hands shaking slightly. The vulnerable look fell onto his face again and his breaths were coming out unevenly. Sam was still livid that he had kept all this from her, but he looked so scared right now. Her scowl turned into a sympathetic look and she walked over to him. She put her hand on his back comfortingly and took in a deep breath of his salty beach fragrance.
“I am here. I’m not leaving you.” She whispered into his neck. He tensed up and turned around to face her.
“How could you still want to be with me after all I’ve put you through?” he asked tenderly.
“That’s a good question.” She chuckled. But fear clouded his eyes, instead of humor.
“Milo, I love you. It doesn’t feel right with out you. I can’t expect you to be perfect and I don’t want you to think you have to be.”
“I almost got you killed a couple of times tonight.” He said skeptically.
“I told you I would never judge you.” She said delicately. This got a small smile from him. She wrapped her arms around his waist, and pulled him to her. He cautiously hugged her back, until finally he realized she wasn’t leaving him. Then he began hugging her tightly relief spreading on his face.
“I’m so sorry Samantha.” He said, his voice cracking on “sorry.”
“Don’t tell me that. Tell me you love me.” Sam said sternly.
She got a chuckle out of him, and he said, “I love you.”
