I cannot believe that I have such sweet readers who waited for such a moreon like me to post after forever!!!! Nice to see that you actually think Rose's in love with Scorp! Maybe... and maynotbe! Here's the next chappie, sorry its short and sorry I posted after so many days!!!

It was a bright, sunny morning, not at all like an autumn morning. The Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs thought it was well suited for their first Quidditch lesson. Jacob was feeling most nervous.
`I didn’t even believe you guys when you told me that we’ve fly on broomsticks! Now you’re telling me that we’ve got to do it today? How can we fly on broomsticks? I don’t know how to fly! I know how to make objects fly, though.’

Albus and Scorpius laughed. `You don’t have to fly by yourself. You’ve to fly with your brooms, and Professor Wood will show us how!’ Scorpius said.

`Don’t worry, it will be fine! Even we don’t know how to fly, being Purebloods. We’ve never tried it. I’m sure it will be great!’ Albus assured his muggleborn friend.
Rose came for breakfast with Gabrielle and Vanessa. They sat down next to Jacob. Scorpius shot Rose a look of concern. He had had enough last night. How long would he keep trying to be nice to her when Rose wouldn’t even try to think straight? Henceforth, he would not try to win her heart; let her behave like she wants to. He was not going to pay attention to her at all.

Rose’s heart had softened a bit after last night. She began to see sense after James explained some things to Rose. After all, Scorpius hadn’t behaved badly with her. That would make her the bad guy. However, she’d think about that later. Right now, they all had to go to the Hogwarts grounds for their first flying lesson. Since there wasn’t any theory involved in Quidditch, she’d have to try hard. Sometimes genes helped in such things.

A few minutes later, when Jacob and Vanessa had barely eaten breakfast, the first year Gryffindors and Ravenclaws stepped out in the sun. The brooms were lying on the ground, awaiting the students. All the students stood next to one broom, as Professor Wood had told them to.

`Now, stick out your right hand above your brooms and say, “up”! Professor Wood shouted.

The students did as they were told, but there seemed to be very few `Obedient’ brooms. Albus’s Scorpius’s and Vanessa’s brooms jumped into their hands at once. Rose’s broom just rolled about, and so did Jacob’s.

`Let me now show you all how to mount these brooms. Flying is actually very easy, if you are interested. Do not be afraid of your brooms!’ Wood said in a gentle voice. He then showed them the process, and started walking down the rows to correct their grips.

Albus and Scorpius were both relieved that they were able to do it properly, where as Gabrielle and Jacob couldn’t get around to move their brooms. Rose had at last managed to do it fairly well.

Great to read another post. I'm so glad Rose softened up. Scorpius is probably doing the right thing in not trrying so hard with Rose. She'll warm up to him quicker that way. Hope you can post soon, but, don't put it before your schoolwork.

"such a moreon like me" I don't think there's any reason for you to call yourself a moron. I don't think a stupid person would have the skill that you are showing in writing this story that I really enjoy reading. You seem to be a very sweet young lady who is passionate about your story, so don't beat yourself up --lift yourself up . I hope this isn't considered spam, cause I didn't say much except a small quote at the begining about your post.

When most of the students were doing well, Professor Wood decided to tell them how to take off. `Now, all of you mount your brooms. When I say “go!” just kick hard against the ground and push off. You’ll feel yourself rising above everyone else. To move forward, lean forwards slightly, and to stop and hover around a bit, pull the broom handle towards you. Now, push off, stay in the air for sometime and then come back. Did you get all that?’ Wood asked.
The students listened with interest and tried to understand everything. Even those who didn’t understand nodded as they couldn’t wait to start flying. Wood was patient as a teacher and didn’t mind explaining twice to a student who didn’t understand, but since everyone nodded, he was assured that they got everything. `Okay, go!’ Wood shouted.
Rose, determined to show Professor Wood that she had the Weasleys’ blood inside her, pushed off hard just a second before Wood shouted. Poor Rose, just her luck! Before she realized what was happening, she was already soaring above everyone else on the ground. The height kept increasing… ten feet… fifteen feet… and she did not dare to look back down on the ground where she had left behind all her fellow classmates. `Help me… I don’t know how to get down!’ she cried, hoping someone would rescue her.
The other first-years, who had seen Rose go up before all of them kicked off, didn’t dare to do the same. Judging by Rose’s cries, flying was terrifying. None of them realized that it was also pretty exciting once you were confident. Later on, Scorpius was the one to find out.
As Rose was screaming and shouting in mid-air, the entire crowd was whispering amongst themselves. Slowly, other students started going after her. Albus and Scorpius stared up at Rose in horror. `Oh my, what would she do now? The poor girl, she doesn’t have it in her blood!’ Albus muttered under his breath. Scorpius and Vanessa heard him. `How do you know she doesn’t have it in her blood? She’s just scared, that’s all!’ Scorpius replied in the same tone. `Care to go up?’ he asked Albus, now turning to face him.
Albus was astonished at Scorpius’ last question. `You mean fly?’ he asked.
`Yup!’ Scorpius replied. `Come on!’ he mounted his broom and steadily pushed off. That was the most wonderful experience of his life. He felt himself rising high up in the air while the soft winds blew against his blonde hair.
Albus followed Scorpius with similar actions. He rose up higher than Scorpius, and he was enjoying it a lot. You could tell by the sparkle in his eyes, that he was amazed. He had never felt such a way before in his entire life. ` Why didn’t Dad ever tell me that flying felt so good?’ he thought to himself. He was distracted by a sudden scream.
Rose was having the time of her life, even as she didn’t realize it. She knew everything that she had to do. She hung on to the broom by pulling it forward, and if another student came her way, she leaned forward. The only thing was that she was still scared and didn’t realize that she was having fun.
Another loud shriek was heard from Rose, a startling shriek. Scorpius turned to look at her and his eyes met a horrifying sight. Rose was now hanging by the edge of her broomstick. The broomstick seemed to have its own mind and strength, to have remained in the air in an erect position. Her knuckles turned white by clutching the broom handle so tightly. She was struggling to hold on to it, but looked as if she was about to let go.
Wood blew his whistle umpteen times. It was a signal for everyone to come down. Everyone did; Scorpius was still hovering around in the air, thinking of a way to save Rose. Suddenly it struck him. He flew over to where Rose was hanging. It was terrible; the poor girl was trying hard to hold onto the broom handle frantically. Scorpius stretched out a hand and said, ` Rose, grab my hand and hop on to my broom. Quick, hop onto my broom! There isn’t time, you’re going to break all 306 bones of your body if you let go!’
Rose was staring at Scorpius in disbelief. The broom wasn’t a horse that she could just hop onto it. How was she supposed to climb onto Scorpius’ broom? What if he lost his own balance? She didn’t have time to think about that. She quickly grabbed Scorpius’ hand with her left hand. Scorpius had a firm grip; he pulled her arm gently and Rose tried to jump onto his broomstick. It was hard for Scorpius to keep his balance at first, but he did manage it and Rose managed to sit safely behind Scorpius.
Now Scorpius moved the broom handle forward, causing Rose to hug him tightly. As they were coming down, Rose hugged him tighter. She was getting scared, no doubt about that, but Scorpius couldn’t help smiling to him. They landed safely on the ground. As soon as they got off the broom, they were surrounded by friends. Vanessa and Gabrielle pampered Rose, where as Albus and Jacob gave Scorpius a pat on the back. Wood was pleased with Scorpius, though at the moment, retrieving the broomstick which was till hanging in the air, was more important.
In between all the chatters and whispers of other students, glad voices of friends and Wood seizing the opportunity to award 15 points to Gryffindor, Rose and Scorpius were still thinking about each other.

Oh Scorpius is so nice helping Rose.Haha,he might feel for her,uhm.

The longer the better I always say. I love Scorpius! That was quick thinking on his part. And I also think Wood is an excellent teacher. Great post. Hope to read more as soon as you can post. Take care of your schoolwork and family time first, then you can come spend time with us.

Hey Tina, sorry I'm late but you know how it is ... there you are flying your broom and suddenly someone swerves in front of you and you're face first in a fir tree and you're digging feathers out of your clothes and trying not to get pecked by birds ...

Sadly, I have to admit I was often one of those who didn't understand and nodded anyways, I love that you wrote that because it's so true

I have to confess, when this happened I wasn't feeling all bad for Rose. I know, I know, I know but she wasn't exactly nice to Scorpius and he hasn't been evil or anything, you know? But I thought it was cute she wanted to show off her 'Weasley' blood. That's well what makes a Weasley that and loyalty.

I have to admit when they ask, "What superpower would you have?" I always say Flight. I've always wanted to be able to fly and feel the wind on my skin ... *sighs* I can feel the excitement and I thought that was funny how Rose was too terrified to realize she was having fun

Scorpius coming to her defense surprised me, honestly. But I think it was sweet

I can't imagine there'd be anything more wonderful than flying in the air ... *sighs*

Hey Tina, your story is really very good, I think that Rose and Scorpius would make a good pair. The Qudditch lessons sould result something else for them both. Waiting for the next Chapter, and maybe they find something new between them.

Neways, the best cure for writer's block I find is to write more. I know that sounds weird but ... if you put your characters on a road they have to get somewhere or meet someone so ... that's all there is to writing really. After the incident in the Flying lesson that very morning, Rose had developed quite a fear of broomsticks and heights. She shivered as she thought about herself hanging down from the broom and Scorpius coming to her rescue. She was really scared and had almost given up the entire hope of remaining alive for the next five minutes. She was terrified, and Scorpius seemed like an angel who came to save her out of pity. She still couldn’t figure out what had gone wrong. She was doing everything correctly as Professor Wood had described, and she was able to fly fairly well. Suddenly, she lost balance and fell off the broom. But surprisingly enough, the broom stood erect in the air. She jumped as Professor Waters called out her name for the third time.

`Miss Weasley! Can you please tell us what can save us from poisons?’ She said, impatiently.
Professor Cecelia Waters was tall and dark, and tied her hair in a tight bun. She had kind and soft eyes, and a smile that could never let anyone get scared even if she scolded them.

Rose hesitated and it took her a while to realize what Professor Waters was talking about. `Er—save us from poisons, eh? Well… bezoar! It is a stone taken from the stomach of a goat,’ she replied.

Professor Waters smiled, satisfied with Rose’s answer. `Very well,’ she said. `For homework, I want everyone to write a nine-inch essay on poisonous potions and the uses of bezoars. Now off you go!’

Rose gathered her parchment and quill, and set off towards the Gryffindor common room. She glanced at Albus and Scorpius at the other side of the room. She felt her cheeks turn deep pink and looked away. She walked out of the classroom, still thinking about the Quidditch lesson.

`Hey, Rosie, wait for me!’ Vanessa shouted from behind Rose. `What is wrong with you today?’ she asked.

`Nothing is wrong with me! I was just in a hurry to get back to the common room. We have so much of homework!’ Rose retorted.

`Oh, so that’s your excuse! Do you really think you need to hide the fact that you were thinking about Scorpius from me?’ Vanessa said in a disapproving tone.

`Did you say Scorpius, Vinnie?’ an astonished voice called out from behind Rose and Vanessa. They both jumped and turned around to find James eavesdropping on them from behind the pillar. Rose frowned at him.

`You, have you been spying on me?’ she demanded.

`Spying? Oh no—not at all! You see, the extendible ears weren’t working so I decided to follow you to the common room and ducked behind the pillar as Professor Waters hurried past me!’ James replied, slyly.

Rose’s frown deepened. `Yes, as a matter of fact, she did say Scorpius. Though of course, I was not thinking about him!’ she said.

`Seriously? I have been hearing some people talking about your Flying lesson this morning,’ James said with a grin, as he caught up with them.

`Please, James! You know I would never ever dream about that idiot!’ Rose muttered angrily. `Chizpurfle!’ she said, and walked inside the common room, leaving James and Vanessa behind her to wonder whether Rose was having a mood swing.
