Your story is very enjoyable to read. I'm glad Albus is compassionate like his father. It's sweet that he's worried about what to get his sister for her birthday. I'm anxious to find out what's in the letters.

Aw! Poor Scorpius! That's so sad on him! I agree with Albus! It'll get worse. But then again, it's so sad! Haha! Albus, Scorpius and Jacob remind me of the golden trio. Except i'm pretty sure Jacob isn't a girl. Haha! Rose is so much like Hermione! Like mother like daughter. Albus is so much like Harry! Kind, looking out for friends. I wonder if he's got Harry's gift on the Quidditch pitch? Well with his parents and his grandfather, i'd be surprised if he hasn't inherited "the gift". Hope Scorpius is good as well! Aw! Albus doesn't know what to get for Lily! He's so sweet! Hope he finds something! And James! OMG! You totally ended it at a cliffhanger! No! What are their parents going to say?! Albus looked at the letter open in his hands. He couldn’t believe his eyes. It read:-

Dearest Al,
It was heartwarming to hear about your first few days at school. We were anxious to know about what all you did. It has hardly been seven days, and we are miserable without you! Lily’s been crying a lot lately; she does miss you the most. I thought you’d be worrying about what to get her on her birthday. Well, you don’t have to worry about it any more. I’ll buy a pack of Puking Pastilles for her and say that it’s from you! They are her favorites, after all!

In case you also have been worrying about what your father and I think of your new friend. Well, your dad is proud of you! We feel really proud to have a son who doesn’t believe in anyone’s bloodline. We have faith in you and we know that you wouldn’t befriend him if he was obnoxious and rude! Share your love with him; I’m sure his dad is hard on him. The fact that you told us the truth is great! We love you Al! Give our love to James and Rose, and Scorpius. Take care.

Albus was almost crying with joy after he read that letter. His parents did not only approve of Scorpius, but had also given him their love! His mom had always been comforting. He really wanted to give Lily a gift but he couldn’t do anything about it. He heaved a sigh of relief and went over to join his best friend. He thrust the letter into James’ hands.
‘Scorp, my parents have given you their love! So what’s up with you?’ Albus called out to Scorpius.

Scorpius looked up from the letter in his hands, his expression relieved yet sad. My father believed me!’ he whispered. But I don’t want to lie! What else can I do? ‘He said, shaking his head.
Albus comforted him. ‘That’s what I told you! But the damage is done now and you can’t do anything about it!’

Albus beckoned him out of the room. Scorpius followed. Vanessa strode into the room with Gabrielle. ‘Vinnie, look! Scorpius and Albus got letters. I wonder what happened to my parents. Why didn’t they send me any owls?’ Rose moaned.’ Cheer up Rosie!’ Gabrielle assured her. ‘Vinnie and I haven’t got owls as well!’

Meanwhile James was gaping at the open letter. He couldn’t believe that his parents had no problem with Scorpius being his brother’s best friend! ‘Dad has no problem with Scorpius Malfoy? I thought he said Draco and himself were enemies in school!’ James muttered under his breath. Puzzled, he went off to supper. Perhaps he’d feel less confused after eating something.

Hehe I love James' manner of thinking - food solves every problem.

Great, although poor Scorpius... hope it works out all right for him in the end!

Yes! The wait is over! Aw! That's so good of Harry and Ginny! To not mind Scorpius being Albus' friend! And Ginny gave Scorpius her love! Aw! Poor Scorpius! Draco actually believes him! That's so sad! Haha! James reminds me of Ron! That's so funny! Great post! Loved it! Can't wait for more!

I'm so glad Albus got such a reassuring letter from his parents. Now he should have the confidence he needs to help poor Scorpius. Hey y'all!!! Exams over!!! So here's the next chappie. Sorry the story's going too slow!! Welcome to my story shuu!!

Scorpius was so worried after reading the letter that he couldn’t even enjoy supper properly. Slytherin doesn’t have a very respectable reputation, but it is as good as any other house. It is special in its own way. Be nice to everyone, and they’ll be nice to you too. You have to perform well and prove to everyone what a good student you are, and that Slytherin is fortunate to have you!He couldn’t forget his father’s words. He was relieved that his father believed him, but he was upset as well. He felt really sorry about having lied. He didn’t want to; it was just because he was dreading his father’s reaction. Though he never felt any pressure on him from his father, he had always had a feeling that Draco wanted him to be a Slytherin.
Albus was helping himself to minced pies. He was eating as much as he could; nowhere would he ever get such delicious food! This was his third helping.
`Scorp, don’t you want some more potatoes? ‘Albus asked Scorpius. `You haven’t tried the bacon yet, have you? C’mon, help yours—‘Albus stopped talking. He noticed that Scorpius wasn’t even listening to him. He seemed worried, but Albus couldn’t make out why he was worried. His parents didn’t have any problem with him being friends with Scorpius, than what was bothering his best friend?
`What’s up with you, mate? Aren’t you hungry?’ Jacob asked from the other side. He and Albus exchanged glances.
`Maybe its best to leave him to his thoughts. We’ll ask him later. Let’s not destroy the feast because of him!’ James said. He was enjoying the meal best. But the next thing that happened distracted Scorpius too.
James reached his hand out to pick up the goblet, which started moving on its own in mid air. James gasped, and tried to catch the goblet, but it flew towards Rose and Vanessa. Trying to make out what was happening, Albus took out his wand. He decided that it was the perfect moment to practice the Summoning Charm.
`Accio Goblet!’ he cried.
The goblet flew towards him, and it was about to tip over. He tried to grab it, but Jacob did the same thing that Albus did. This time the goblet really did tip over, pouring juice all over poor Scorpius, who was sitting between Jacob and Albus. In the midst of all this, Rose, Vanessa, Gabrielle, James and his friend David were having a good laugh at the clumsy situation. This certainly caused Scorpius to forget about the lie and Draco’s letter. After moaning for a moment, he joined in the laughter.
Back in the Gryffindor common room, Vanessa was scolding Rose.
`Why on earth did you have to practice the Levitation Charm at supper today?’ Vanessa said.
`I was just showing you! You have to say it correctly, like Wing-gar-dium Levi-o-sa.’ Rose replied, giggling slightly.
`But why did you target my goblet which was half-filled with juice at that moment?’ James joined in the conversation. `Poor Scorpius!’
Rose grimaced at the name. `Serves him right for being such a nuisance!’
`But he hasn’t been a nuisance!’
`He’s a Malfoy!’
`So is that his fault if he’s the son of Dad’s and Uncle Ron’s enemy?’
`You people can argue till morning, I’m going to bed!’ Vanessa said, yawning.

Okay so i'm starting to think Rose REALLY hates Scorpius or ... she's in love with him? Don't tell, don't tell, don't tell I always love surprises in fics

It's just ... methinks the lady doth protest too much ...

I still feel bad for Scorpius missing out on the feast and all ... but why would he lie? Draco is a meanie isn't he? Again, Don't tell, don't tell, don't tell I'll just keep ing ... I'm so bad

Aw! Poor Scorpius! Thinking about Draco's words! Hope Draco is ok with Scorpius being in Gryffindor! That'll just be too sad if Draco is mad! Haha! That goblet thing was so funny! I joined in with the laughter as well! It was just hilarious! Poor Scorpius! Juice all over him! It was funy, though! I can't believe it was Rose who was levitating it! Wow! When sh was explaining the incantation, i remembered the part when Hermione is explaining it to Ron! It was classic! Wow! Rose hates Scorpius?! I thik she gets the prejudice part from Ron. Great post! Your story is so believable. I can so picture the whole scene at the table when Rose levitates the goblet. And it is sweet that Scorpius can laugh about it with everyone there. It takes a lot of courage to be able to do that. Maybe we're finding out why he got sorted into Gryffindore, and maybe he'll realize his strenth and confront his father. I'm glad he has Albus to help him along. Post soon.
