Emily appeared in the long line of ministry workers heading to the wedding with a huge frown on her face. "Why me?" She groaned aloud as she hefted the large heavy box that held the gift in her hands, her thin arms shivering slightly under its weight. She wore a simple purple dress robe, noting fancy since she wasn't thrilled with the arrangments. "Why purple? Why here, why why why!" she moaned, shaking her head as the line slowly lessened and she walked up to the head of the line, no emotionso n her face.

"Emily Castior." She said by way of greeting to the Ministry employee at the security desk. She moved the heavy puirple packaged box to her right arm and moved a strand of black hair from her face.

"Your wand please ma'am" Alexa said to the woman abruptly.

"Oh Syd...How are you?" Forrester asked as he looked at his boss. "You're looking good... Are you going to enter?" he asked as he checked another name off his list.

"Please people if you have a gift, place it on the gift table..." Forrester said addressing the line of people still waiting to be checked.

"Cassandra you look nice.. But you're late... You're intern is doing a great job at the gift table, please check the seating place and other locations for any trouble... And put this on... If you have something to tell me use the letter system" Forrester said as he handed Cassandra a badge similar to all the badges of the aurors.
"Keep up the good work Alexa"

"Hello Miss. Regan I hope you are pleased by our job" Forrester said as he saluted Reagan. "Do you need anything special?"

"Hello Miss. Cambell Anee Robinson" Forrester said as he checked her name. "Welcome I see that you are perfectly dressed please go for gift inspection on the table further down" Forrester said as he made a quick wand check.
"Very good... You may pass"

"Welcome Miss Shane Dalton" Forrester said as he checked another name off his list. "You look lovely, please head for gift inspection further down" Forrester said as he made another wand check.
"Very good you may enter"

Emiy blinked at the aburptness. "Well, security is tight, isn't it?" She exclaimed with a slight smirk on her face as she put down the heavy gift box and handed over her wand, waiting patiently.

Cassandra arrived at the Ministry via Floo Powder. She dusted the skirt of her dress off, getting most of the ash and soot off. To get everything off, she took out her wand, and muttering a spell, the rest of it was gone.

She stepped into the back of the line, waiting for her turn to be inspected. She had her gift to the lucky couple in her arms. Her black hair was down, and slightly wavy. Her dress was black, and went to her knees. Her highheels were about 2 to 3 inches, and a silverish-black color. At her wrists were two simple silver bracelets.

When she got up to the front of the line, she took out her wand, and held it out. "Cassandra Ford. I work as an Unspeakable in the Department of Mysteries." She said.

Forrester looked up at the new woman that arrived. "Miss. Cassandra Ford" Forrester said as he checked his list taking along time, he finally found it, Miss Cassandra was placed on the list of the Magical sports and games list of guests.
"Welcome miss. Cassandra." Forrester said as he did a wand check up. "Very well you may enter"

Forrester looked and noticed that a lot of people that had there wands checked haven't entered and were speaking with each other.
Pointing at his throat, he muttered a spell.
"Please every person that had their wand and cloth checked please do continue on to the gift table, you can catch up with your friends inside... Please it's getting very crowded here" Forrester said.

Well Nathan certainly felt like a spare part – everything seemed to be pretty much in hand. Warren was on gift inspection, Forrester seemed to have the dress code stuff sorted and Alexa certainly had wand security under control. He heard the woman, whom he recognised from the sphinx incident on level 4 moaning about having to wear purple and it being compulsory to attend this thing. He had to repress a smile – at least she didn’t have to ‘work’ it. He gave Alexa a nod and a warm reasurring smile before looking around at other proceedings. Egypt had vanished into the main seating area - he wasn't sure if he would see her again today.

What would happen if the headmistress from Hogwarts and her husband showed up? The professor of Defence Against the Dark Arts… what were they to do if there was trouble? Cassandra Rae was a respected woman and his one of his little sister’s favourite professors. Surely she and her husband wouldn’t turn up to something they clearly weren’t invited to… would they? And why exactly?

He wandered over to the gift table to have a look at the many interesting parcels. Nathan hadn’t brought a gift, but Egypt had. Best to leave that sort of thing up to a woman. Besides, he was working – why should he bring a present? To have to go out and buy something for a couple he didn’t, and had no particular wish to, know. Out of his rubbish salary...

Nicoli nodded, his mind thinking of the possiblities of what could occur. "I agree," he said carefully, "Though I think we should not only have everyone in pairs but at least one of the pair patrolling, just to make sure there aren't any crashers...Maybe we could swap pairs now and again to allow some of the staff to see the wedding," he said.

Anita hadn't been to a wedding before. She had quickly changed into a dark purple dress that fell past her knees. She was wearing black heels. Her hair was done up in a bun. She was wearing a pair of black butterfly earrings that lightly touched her shoulders and she was carrying a medium sized boxed wrapped in light purple wrapping paper.

She made her way to the checkpoint. She handed over her wand as she said,

"I'm Anita Imogen Volt. I work in the Broom Regulatory Control section of the Magical Transportation department."

Steven was allowed in.

Jade didn't exit the fireplace so much as she was dumped out of it. Head spinning and stomach flip-flopping, she placed an arm on the nearest wall and leaned over her stomach, looking a little green as she did so. Taking slow breaths, she was soon able to steady herself. Straightening, she took her gloves off to rearrange her black strapless and brush the soot out of her strongly contrasting red hair.

She had been quite pleased with the requirements of wedding attire. She'd been to wedding in the past, but it was sometimes considered rude to wear black to a funeral in western Europe. In Russia, it was considered respectful, and she almost felt comfortable in her own skin now. She replaced her black, elbow-length gloves and walked foward toward the security desk with a serene smile on her face.

"Bye dad see you later" said Barry as he left "We`ll be at the blacks" and he left the area.

"Mr Potter can you cheak my clothing so I can enter." said Dan he was wearing a black Tuccedo.

"Hello, Ms. Volt. I'll be needing your wand for a quick inspection. Nothing wrong, it's just a security reason."

"Hello, May I please have your name and wand. Just for security purposes. Once were done you can give in your gift and sign into the guest book"

"Nathan! Hello! Finally someone I can talk to! Alexa waved him over, desperate to talk to someone.

Katya Apparated with Jason in tow (she couldn't get a hold of Ocean to cart him along as a date), their joint present tucked safely under his capable arms, "Blimey... we're late, and it's all your fault, Jason!"

"Be quiet, Katya." Jason scowled beside her. "If I planned to come to this wedding I would've been here ages ago. I had work, but someone just had to drag me here." Jason indeed didn't plan to come to this place, he had a lot of paperwork to do! And paperwork didn't do itself!

Katya rolled her eyes at his grouchiness as she made her way to the checkpoint, "Hellooo, Katya Le Blaireau and Jason Killin from the Obliviator Squad." she nudged Jason in the side, and hissed, "Don't be mean."

Cassandra wished she would've kept an eye on time, somehow it just flew right past her. "Thanks sir, you're not looking bad yourself." She said smiling at him. She nodded when he instructed her on what to do. "Yes sir." She said as she took the badge from her boss and pinned it on. She turned and headed towards the tables, not expecting much to happen...yet anyway, it was still early.

Jason rolled his eyes and walked beside Katya, trying his best to smile at the people who were passing him. "I am not being mean," he whispered to Katya his eye twitching a bit. "I was in the middle of something important and then you stormed in the department with this suit!" Jason muttered, pointing at the black suit he was wearing.

Katya took a step back and eyed her friend (?) appreciatively, "Well... I'm not a miracle worker, but I'd say you look spiffy." She grinned and gave him a little wink as she tucked her hand in the crook of his elbow, "Who knows? Maybe you'll find someone nice?"

Jason's ears reddened at the mention of someone. "I am not here to find a special someone, Katya." He told her, looking away to watch the people around them. "Now as for the clothes. Why in Merlin's beard everyone is wearing purple and black?"

Looking down at her own black dress, with the purple lace peeking out from under the knee-length skirt and lining the bodice, Katya shrugged, "Don't ask me, mate, but the colours sure are pretty." She eyed his solid black attire and frowned, her hand itching to grab her wand, "You need some colour, Jace..."

At the sight of her wand, Jason pulled back and shook his head, his hands doing the same. "Oh no, Katya!" Last time she did this to him his skin turned blue and he had to stay like that for about a week. "You are not going to wave your wand on me like last time!"

Blackfire stepped out the fireplace and brushed the soot off her Black Dress and emptied her black high-heels off soot
"I am glad I took my jewelry off before using that thing" she mumbled as she put in her black heart earring and her black heart on a gold Chain Neckless on.

She walked up and presented herself at the security Desk, leading a house-elf called Soot, who was wearing a black tea-towel like a toga. "I hope they like their house elf."

"Oh come now," she said, touching the tip of her wand to his shoulder, just to tease him, "The only reason you turned blue the last time was because you MAKE yourself feel blue, Jason, admit it... This time you'd be a pretty, HAPPY, purple! Or even fuschia!"

Jason grabbed her wand and pulled it away from her, afraid she'd do something that would make him snap at her. "Oh no! You are not going to turn me into a flamingo! The last thing I need is going around the ministry with pink skin!"
