Abigail stopped writing and then looked up at her fellow Division Head. "You did! I almost forgot that, too. Thanks for reminding me," she told her with a smile. Turning back to the parchment, she wrote what Melanie just told her.

Nodding in agreement, Abigail wrote more on her parchment. She stopped writing once Lima's name was on the paper and then reread what she had wrote. Hmm. That seemed like everyone.

She glanced down at her watch and noticed it was time to go get some food. "Okay, I think I got all the information I need," she announced. "I'm going to head down to the cafeteria and write this summary up while I'm eating. Thanks for helping!" With that, she stood up from her chair and grabbed her stuff and headed out of the office.

"No problem!!" Dora called after her as she went to leave the office. She then began to levitate her quill and was rather bored....

Melanie entered her office, the day after that thrilling conference. The Quidditch world cup, really? she still couldn't believe it.

She sat on her desk and polished the little sign with her name using her sleeve. She sighed and blew a few hairs from her face. She was wearing a little more make up than she normally did, her pregnancy hormones were through the roof today, and she was feeling cheerful and happy. She got up really early and took a long shower, put a lovely make-up on and dressed in her favourite clothes.

She was smiling broadly waiting for someone else to arrive. She started doing some brainstorming about the Quidditch Cup while she waited.

Torquil Snow walked into the office, a letter in his hand and a scowl on his face. Really what was his sister thinking taking off like that? Was she insane? Apparently.. He ground his teeth together in frustration as he looked around the office. He only saw one person... A very pretty person..

Hmmm...

"Hello," He said as he strode over to the desk, and leaned over it. His height sort of intimidating. He ran a hand through his blonde locks, and his dark purple eyes sparkled a bit. "Are you by chance Melanie Hale? I am Torquil Snow, Piper's older brother.. and her replacement.." At that he rolled his eyes a bit.

Melanie, that had been waiting for anyone to enter the office in despair, was more than happy to welcome the stranger. She was sure to be able to help him somehow. When he approached her desk , looking like a rock star with his purpe eyes, which were familiar, and his build up figure she leaned backwards on the chair, reflexively putting some distance between the two of them.

"hmm.. I am, yes" she said when he mentioned her name " Piper's older brother? Replacement?" she asked, astonished, raising her eyebrows " where did she go?!" Now that she thought to be connecting with her... at the sound of these news, she sat herself properly again, gazing curiously into this man's face. He looked nothing like Piper, in exception to the eyes of course, it kinda came with the family.. but blond hair? And huge body? In comparison to Piper, who was a very petite girl...

Torquil leaned back a little as he noticed Melanie putting some distance between them.. He sighed in slight frustration as he heard her question, and he started to pace as he spoke.

"I suppose you noticed how she was sad and moping everywhere right?" He asked looking briefly at Melanie before continuing his pacing. "Well a year ago, she fell in love with this boy, and he.. shattered her heart, her world and her life. She was barely making it.. And then...." His voice got a little louder..

"That idiot comes back and asks her to run off with him.. and what does she do? Runs off with him to France!!" Torquil sighed heavily and turned to look at Melanie, "We got this letter this morning.. No one but Andrina is very happy, Of course Andi is thrilled, she is all about romance.. but.. Gah.." He sighed.. "So here I am, until another replacement can be found.. Piper said you were working on something important?" He asked stopping before her desk.

Melanie was shocked at his little infuriated speech. Piper ran off with a guy to France? That was crazy, and utterly romantic too, but since Torquil made it clear he wasn't a fan of romantic ending, she didn't say it outloud. "Better for her then " she said shruging a little " if she was that bad, I guess that was the best thing she could do right?" she rested her chin in her hand for a while, getting a little lost in picturing the hole scene.

She imagined Piper, in a mourning dress, all sad on a balcony, then this guy... let's call him John, came on a white horse and with a bouquet of flowers, declared his love to her and they trotted into the sun.

She shook her head and lift her chin form her hand. These blasted hormones would kill her someday. She had been day dreaming too much. "Too bad though, I think we were starting to bond, and she seemed really excited about our new assignment..." she made a pause, trying to achieve the same dramatic effect Ben had achieved the previous day " the Quidditch World Cup!" she exclaimed smiling broadly at him, expecting him to jump off his shoes and make a dance. That was what Craig nearly did, go Thundelarra Thunderes!

Torquil refrained from rolling his eyes at Miss Hale's little speech. Better for her? Sureeee.. until he broke her heart again, and left her and then he and his family would have to pick up the pieces again. The poor Kid.. "Yeah, until he breaks her heart again.." He said as he ran his hand through his hair.

He sighed a bit as she spoke next, and he caught himself looking at her, she seemed to be glowing, which was certainly attractive, she was beautiful, and those eyes.. were simply amazing.. he had always been attracted to women with blue eyes. Perhaps this wouldn't be a bad assignment after all?

"The Quidditch World Cup? Really?" He asked his eyes lighting up. "No wonder Piper was excited, she loves Quidditch, as do I! What are we doing? And what can I do to help?" He asked wondering who would be in the cup this year? Were the harpies doing well that yeaR??

Melanie frowned. He kinda had a point there, what if John-person broke her heart again, that wouldn't be romantic at all.

She felt his gaze on her and blushed a little. Why does he keep running his hand through his hair? Isn't it messy enough? she tilted her head at him, he was surely confident, the way he was looking at her, all cocky.. well he was attractive, not that a pregnant and kinda married woman like her was be checking him out, but it was true, he was.

She could see that he was a fan of Quidditch as well! She felt really powerful at that moment, for holding all informations about such a gigantic event, she smiled at him, when he didn't refrain his excitement and started shooting questions " easy there, I'll be more than glad to answer all of those questions but perhaps first we could do something about the you-replacing-your-sister subject." She opened a drawer of her desk and took a form out " since all that you bring me appears to be a letter explaining the situation I still need your personal information, for my employee's file and for you to put up in the filling cabinet." she said with a pleasant smile handing him the form. It was a very simple one, only for her to keep record of her employee's principal features.

Torquil grinned a little as he saw Miss Hale blush, and he couldn't help but smirk a bit. He had made an attractive woman blush, that always made his day, as blushing was something of a rarity these days is women. He smiled a little to himself.. he had a plan.. First to back off and act like an employee..

He nodded and backed up, "Of course, whatever I need to do, please let me know. I don't want my sister to be in trouble or anything, nor would I want you to get into trouble for the mix up." He said with a kind smile as he took the form and went to sit down at a desk to fill it out.



Torquil got up, and handed the form back to Melanie, "Anything else you need Miss Hale?" He asked as he smiled at her.

Melanie sighed quietly when a worker mode seemed to kick on Torquil, he smiled kindly at her and she returned his smile " I won't need much more, soon I'll fill you in on the Quidditch matter " she answered him. When he took a seat on Piper's empty desk, she looked at Piper's file and with a touch of her wand made it vanish.

She looked up at him, when she heard his voice she took the form from his hands and put it in it's place " Have you ever worked on this kind of job? Would you fancy a little test drive, so to speak" she said amusement in her voice, she always loved coming up with fake plots. She wanted to test his abilities.

Torquil returned Melanies's smile as she took his file. "okay, that sounds fine with me, where ever you need me, I will be there, I am sort of a Jack of All trades." He said smiling at her again.

"No, I haven't worked at this kind of job before, I was in the banking buisness until recently, and before that I played Quidditch with the Chudley Canons. I left that job after one to many bludgers to the head." He grinned a bit at that, as well as at her words. "No problem Miss Hale, try me out." His words came out in a bit of a drawl as he settled himself in a chair opposite her.

"Really?" she asked him chuckling a little, Craig used to play Quidditch as well " that will make you one of our biggest enthusiastic in this mission then!" She let a short laugh out, too many bludgers to the head "nasty little things. At Hogwarts I could never get rid of them.. it was like I had a bullseye on my back" .

She covered her mouth with her hand, looking behind Torquil, thinking about his mock mission, she decided to use a thing involving Quidditch somehow " Well, since we'll be hosting the cup, let's say we, the Experimental Charms Department were on the field, trying some protection charms that came into our office, to use the ones that better suited our needs, and suddenly a very innocent looking spell, as a muggle-repellent..." she paused, again, for the drama "makes all trees come to life and they start making a mess on the Quidditch pitch, their roots going everywhere!" she was gesturing, trying to make the picture come to life a little " what should we do?" she ended, crossing her arms in front of her chest.

Torquil nodded, "Really, I played for two years, after Hogwarts. Trying to acclimate myself to England or something I suppose.." He said watching her as she smiled. She really was beautiful, this job was going to be fun! "Ahh yes, kids at Hogwarts could be mean, I never got a bludger to the head, but I did find myself suddenly hanging upside down at random times throughout the day." He smiled easily at her before concentrating on the little mock mission she had given him.

"Well, first we should reverse the spell, if that doesn't work use either the Finite spell, which stops the effect of a charm, or use the freezing charm to stop the trees dead in their tracks. After stopping them, magick them back to their original positions and then, fix the pitch.." He paused for a second, "How does that sound?" He asked curiously.

Dora strolled into the office a bit late, she had been running errands and got caught up. Upon entering she saw Mel talking to a new guy. "Hullo Mel!! How's your day been?" Then turning to the man she didn't yet know she said, "Hi there! I am Dora Lovegood. You're new to the division i take it? " She gave him a warm smile and turned back to Mel. "So what are we on to today? Talking about the preparations for the Quidditch World Cup I hope!" she said almost giddily. "I have some ideas. But what have you all been talking over, first?" Dora asked. Taking a seat she pulled out her parchment and quill and was preparing to take some notes.

Melanie found herself blushing again. That happened rather often but normally only when Craig was around, because he was the only one that looked at her with those eyes. The eyes of someone that's enjoying what he sees. She coughed a little to her hand and took a little bottle of water out from her bag. She drank from it while hearing his ideas for the mock mission.

He was actually pretty good, all his ideas were sharp in the point. Specially the Finite one, most wizards didn't think at that at first. She nodded " That is... " she looked for the words "pretty impressive Torquil" she flinched a little at his name, it was so unusual. " You didn't even give me the time to put some obstacles on the way, you covered all bases!" She made him the thumbs up sign and laughed " I think you'll find yourself at home here..." she looked around the office " this is usually not so quiet, we've had some pretty funny events happening here lately, life LEGO parts and exploding flowerpots and such.." She looked at her watch, she needed to get something to eat, or else her baby would be angry.

"I have to go to the Cafeteria and grab something to eat " she said, getting up from her chair. She wasn't really sure what to tell him, she couldn't give him a job to do before having all her employees there to divide tasks. She looked hesitantly at him " hm.. you can come, I can't really give you anything to do right now, I need to wait for all the other workers to start up an action plan" she wasn't really sure it that was a good idea.

After all he had been gazing at her with a certain intent in his eyes. Better this way, I'll just let it slip that I'm pregnant and have a boyfriend and everything will be ok, she though.

Dora entered the door and she smiled, almost with relief at her " Dora, so good to see you!!" she exclaimed " I was about to get something to eat, we'll divide tasks when I come back ok sweetie? I'm waiting to see if there is anyone else arriving soon or not" she turned to Torquil " Now you can stay if you want, I'll be back in a minute " she really hoped he would stay.

Torquil smiled a bit more at Melanie as she blushed and he grinned. This was way to fun, really it was. Making such a beautiful woman blush. He begun to think it was his favorite past time..

He smiled as she approved of his plan, "Thank you, I do hope that I can fit in around here, perhaps a little better than my poor little sister.." He shook his head, "Ahh yes Piper told me about the legos, and Andi told me about the flowerpot, seems like there is never a dull moment in this office!" He said laughing a bit as he got up to follow her.

Just then an annoying and overly cheerful girl walked in, He looked at her with barely concealed disgust. Wow, why was she so.. darn chipper? He looked up at Melanie, "Um, I think I would rather come with you, I could use something to eat." He said with a smile at her, hoping she would lead the way.

Dora scowled as the man looked at her as though she were something nasty stuck to the bottom of his shoe. What an ****! she thought. Dora really didn't care whether people found her upbeat attitude annoying or not, why should she mope around just to appease others!? So with that thought she figured she would just kill him with kindness, so to speak. "I hope you enjoy your job with us! And Mel I'll be here when you get back." then turning to glare at the rude man who had not even introduced himself she icily said, "I am not going anywhere.Dora was so offended that her hair and eyes turned a screaming red and she continued to scowl. Why was that man so bloody rude?!

Mel returned to the office only a few moments after her departure. She looked a bit shaken, but there was still a smile on her face. She sighed an relief to see that Torquil wasn't there yet. She walked to Dora and sat near her " Quidditch cup hun?" she said amused. " what a blast it will be!" she couldn't help but to giggle, she was really excited about it, she and Craig even did plans about it!

"Yeah amazing!" Dora said a bit haughtily. She was still a bit heated. "I am truly excited about the prospect of getting in and working on such a big job" Dora said. "If you can excuse me just a moment I am going to go to the watercooler and try to pull myself together." With that she got up and started to walk from the room. She hoped Mel didn't find her rude for that behavior, but she would be right back. Her temper was hardwire to her metamorphing and she needed to get a handle on that. Then turning she smiled at Mel and said, "I will only be a moment dear!"

Melanie tilted her head to the side. Dora didn't really seem like herself, had something happened since she left the office for her little snack? She would wait for her to return to ask, in the meantime, she made her grocery store list.

Dora walked back into the room with a ore suitable shade of hair and trotted forward and took a seat at one of the vacant desks. "Sorry about that Mel, I just needed a moment to regroup. I have a bit of a nasty temper sometimes." she simply put. "So, what are we working on?" she asked eagerly.

"I'm not sure yet" she confessed, raising her eyes from her list. She should start buying more baby clothes.. " I'm still figuring out how to devide tasks between you, my lovely employees" she said smiling adoringly and ruffling Dora's now blond hair.

She wasn't going to push the subject, but she just had to, flaming red hair wasn't something people saw that often " Is everything ok? Did something bother you dear...? Your hair was... well, it was pretty angry wasn't it?" she chuckled a at her own personifying her hair comment.

Edward came walking into the office on level three looking for his lovely girlfriend Dora... Man, was she going to be surprised when she found out what he had done!

He spotted her immediately and she was talking to another lady. "I am looking for Nymphadora Lovegood." He said barely holding in a snicker. Dora hated being called Nymphadora!!

Dora scowled a bit and then explained, " I have a bit of a temper and that bloke in here when I arrived struck me the wrong way. And yes my hair does tend to get angry!!" Dora teased and stuck out her tongue at Mel.
EWWWW... Dora thought, this can't be good. The only time she was ever called Nymphadora was when she was in trouble or something horrible had happened. That voice sounded familiar though. "Dora" she corrected the man and turned to see who it was. "Merlin's pants!" she exclaimed and jumped to her feet and went forward to greet her boyfriend. "Where's your visitor's badge? When did you get here? How did you know where to find me?" she fired off her questions rapidly as she narrowed her eyes and ran forward to embrace him.
