Letting the woman get seated at what was apparently her desk, Gavin was about to move on when he was approached by another woman, this one a redhead, and he was begining to wonder if he was in a department of mostly women. "Hi, I'm Gavin McNally," he answered tacking the offered hand for a shake as well. "And yes I did say I was," he replied with a nodd once their hands were dropped.

Calla smiled at him. She instantly felt guilty for smiling so sweetly. She had flashed the same grin at Tallin, but who can blame her they were both good looking. And it's not like she had said anything more than introductions to Tallin. She brushed her hair out of her face and placed her things on her desk.

"It's nice to met you." Motioning toward Mel's desk she continued, "Well you'll be working with me and Mel then. And actually, I'm not sure what all we need to be finishing up for the Cup. We had discussed making a manual, you know of protective charms and such. But, anyways, Mel will have to give us a bit of direction on that." She shrugged and sat down at her desk. Pulling some parchment and a new purple quill out of her bag she glanced Tallin's way.

Gavin didn't think anything of her smile other then friendly greeting between two coworkers, the man smiling softly back."And you as well," he replied following her gaze and motion to the other desk, seeing the sign announcing it as the division head and his direct boss. The man nodded as he listened to the woman's explainations, letting her know he was listening and paying attention even if he wasn't responding with words.

"Alright," he said finally as she finished and sat down. "Thanks for the information," Gavin said, taking her glances away as a acknowledgement that she had nothing more to say. Noticing an apparently empty desk on their side of the room he walked towards it and hung his coat on the chair hoping to claim it as their own as he sat down to get settled.

There is a sign hanging on the door to the office. As you approach, you can see it is the handwriting of your department head, Ben Cobblesten!

Dora sneaked into the office while she hoped everyone was still gone and packed up her desk. LEaving behind a note she then turned to leave. She couldn't help but feel a little pang of sadness, but she thought her new position was better suited to her right now.

The cup was over, the Ryan fiasco was over. Calla was glad to be back at work quite honestly. She pushed the doors open to find she was the only one that had made it in. Surely Dora would have made it in by now

As Calla walked further into the office she realized Dora’s desk was free of the little nick-knacks and things she kept on her desk. Odd.

Placing her bag on her desk she finally eyed the note left by Dora.

Calla was sad Dora wouldn’t be on level 3 anymore, but happy for her. Actually everyone was leaving Level 3 it seemed. Silas had got down to Level 4 as well to be a Division Head. Calla slunk back into her desk. She’d go later down to Level 4 and wish them both Congratulations.

Still partically reeling from the way he and Calla had last separated at the Quidditch cup, Gavin wasn't quite sure what to expect from their first day back at work together. Stepping inside the office he looked around, sighing to himself when he spotted the one person in question and noticed she was the only one around. Nothing left to do but just deal with it he thought to himself as he moved further into the office, closing the door behind himself.

Walking towards his desk that had gradually become his own by the small descrete touchs and paperwork, he looked over at Calla as he walked quietly past. The man pausing when he noticed by her face that something was up and not something concerning what had happened. "Calla?" he asked quietly making his presense known since she seemed to have not noticed him by now which itself was off. "Is something wrong?" he asked further as he stood just off the side of her own desk.

Calla wasn’t sure what the next project would be, Melanie would have to inform her of that. So in the mean time Calla flipped through the Daily Prophet that she retrieved from her bag. The Cup had not been nearly the fun it probably should have been, no thanks to Ryan. She couldn’t wait to get all that mess behind her. In all honesty she hadn’t spoke to Dora since she left the campsite, she wasn’t sure how it ended.

Calla was not too much aware of anything when she heard someone say her name, “Oh Gavin you startled me!” She sat up in her chair. Is something wrong? Was he talking about the tent fiasco? Oh she expected to have to explain that further, but didn’t think she would have to just yet. Looking up to his face she smiled, she realized that was not what he was inquiring about at all. Pulling Dora’s note over she showed it to him, “Dora has moved to another department” she shrugged, “Nothings really wrong, I’m just going to miss her.”

Awkward silence made the air thick. Calla shifted in her chair and messed with her hair. “So, how are you doing?” They hadn’t spoken in about a week – since the Cup. She wasn’t sure what would happen next, or what he thought of the entire situation.

Gavin's face turned from concerned to appologetic when Calla said she was startled. "Sorry...It wasn't my intention," he appologized gently. As her face brightened in a smile, he couldn't help following suit and relaxing with a smile of his own as if she had some power over him.

Taking the note, he read it himself even as his companion spoke of what the paper's words contained, the man nodding in understanding as he returned it and now knowing why she looked a little sad. "Ah... well then I wish her luck," he replied truthfully about all he could do seeing as he hadn't known her long to really miss her and she still wasn't far. "At least she's only really a floor away," he assured the woman before slowly making hisway the last few feet to finally set his stuff down at his desk.

Gavin turned back as Calla spoke once more breaking the ackward silence that had grown up once more, something that had been happening a lot lately between them recently. "I'm doing well," he answered leaning lightly on the side of the desk's surface absently watching her a little hesitant to return the favor. "How..how about you?" he finally questioned quietly.

Liam Ursus silently walked in the office of is new job at the Ministry of Magic. He stared around, much more desks than needed. He glanced to the door. Had he come to he right place?
"Oh," He sighed in relief. The Invisiblity Task Force office and the Experimental Charms offices have combined. "How odd." He walked over to a desk that seemed unnocupied, empty and bare, and he placed his things on the table. Sitting down, he wondered, what am I supposed to do now?

Calla giggled at him, “Don’t apologize.” She stuck her tongue out at him and made a silly face. He was looking particularly nice today, at least in her opinion. Catching his eyes with hers she felt butterflies in her stomach.

“That’s very true,” He did have a point about Dora simply being a floor below, but it wasn’t the same. Calla had really grown accustom to Dora’s bubbly charm. It made office life interesting. She watched him walk to his desk.

There air was thick, thick with awkward conversation and unspoken desire… At least on Calla’s end. “I’m glad you’re doing well.” Completely automatic response, this was because she was lost in her own mind. The moment she had created in her head was Gavin swooshing in picking her up and kissing her passionately – just like all the good love stories. Coming out of her day dream as he asked her how she was she drew a breath to give a moment to register what he had just said, “I’m good.” Another simply awkward response.

Her mind was racing, again for something to say. Why was this so hard? At the ice cream shop the conversation just flowed. She was hoping he could bring something to the conversation, if that’s what you would call this.

And then as if on que the door open and a new face popped in. Calla stood and greeted the man, “I’m Calla Ainsworth, I work on the Experimental Charms Committee.” She extended her hand to shake his.

Gavin couldn't help but laugh as she stuck out her tongue at him, smiling at the face Calla gave him in return. "Alright no more appologies," he offered, their eyes meeting as her face returned to normal and he found himself silently admiring her.

"Well thats certainly good to here," he replied separating their gazes truthfully happy that the past events hadn't made thingsunhappy for her. Gavin certainly wouldn't want that for anyone especially Calla but he wouldn't say that aloud.

He was about to say something else but silenced as they were joined by a new face. The former Gryffindor watched the man take an empty seat on the other side of the room and wondered if he was a new employee or a returning one, the answer given as Calla introduced herself. His own voice remaining quiet not wanting to overwhelm him and letting him answered first.

Speaking still to the new gentlemen, "I'm not sure which side of the office you'll be on, but if you're on the Invisibility Task Force Abigail will be your supervisor, and if you're on Experimental Charms you would then be answering to Melanie." She finished with a smile.

Turning and walking toward Gavin she cocked her head to the side and bit her lip slightly. She was a shy person, and it was showing. She thought that part of the awkward-ness of the conversation was because they were at work, in the office. She wasn't sure why she was walking toward him, she was acting purely spontaneous. She stopped directly in front of his desk, "I'm going to go to go to the break room for a bit, if you'd like to join me."

She anxiously searched his eyes to see if he was going to follow her, she was certainly being more forward that usual. She turned from his desk and walked toward the door, making sure to give a slight nod to the new man in the office. With one more glance at Gavin she slipped out the door.

Gavin raised a slight eyebrow curiously as Calla tilted her head as she came towards him as he remained leaning against his desk, having not gotten the chance to sit down yet. He wondered what was the reason for her actions not having to wait long as she soon stood directly in front of him, meer inches away from each other.

Listening to her words, he debated his actions as Calla stared into his eyes as if trying to read him. The man following her departure with his gaze and spotting the yet still unknown man and reminded that they werent alone in the office. Might be why Calla moved he thought to himself realizing the probability was high of that being true especially once she looked back before leaving the room.

Gavin finally straightened up as he made his decision, deciding it was early enough and Melanie wasn't around so they werent needed at the moment. Nodding to the only other occupant inthe room, he walked towards the door and quietly slipped out.

Liam glanced up when someone spoke. He shook he woman's hand and grinned.
"Hello, Calla. I'm Liam Ursus. I'm a new addition to the Invisibility Task Force. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

Calla smiled, "Great to meet you. You'll be working with Abigail. Who doesn't appear to have made it in yet. I'm sure she'll be along shortly." She turned and made way to her desk.

A beautiful silvery gleaming fox jumped on Calla's desk out of nowhere and majestically settled down there, sitting his large busy hair waving a little to have the lady's attention. Then he jumped off the table to walk a corner in the office where a little box remained. Once he was finished with his job the patronus fox became foggy and vanished in air.

Jake walked into the office, feeling pretty happy. The Quidditch world cup had been great...It couldn't get much better. As he was getting his daily coffee he noticed a new face. He walked up to him and smiled, "Hey there. I'm Jake Diogry, Invisibility task force." He introduced himself as he sipped his coffee. Ouch, it was hot. "And you are?"

As Calla walked over to her desk she saw a fox run through the office, landing on her desk. She looked back at the only other person in the office to see if it were their patronus, after examining him it didn't seem to be his.

She watched the patronus jump off her desk, walk to the corner and disappear; leaving only a box. It wasn't the silvery fox that scared her, but the box itself. She walked to the corner and drew her wand.

Levitating the box she hovered it on to her desk, then setting it down she used her wand to open it. Chocolates... and a note? She was unsure who sent the box, and was not about to eat any of the candies (it helps that she doesn't have a sweet tooth, and wasn't tempted.)

Using her wand (careful not to touch anything) she opened the note.

Calla knew there was only one person this could be from. ugg!Ryan She immediately made the note, chocolates and box disappear.

Ryan was really off his rocker; she gathered her things and left the office. She headed toward Diagon Alley. She needed a distraction from her current situation.

Storm walked through the door, and looked around. There seemed to be a lot of empty desks. Were they anticipating an expansion? Or was there a fast turnover of staff here? She sighed, looking for someone who could tell her what she should be doing. For a moment, she wished herself back in her old job, as a herbalist travelling to different wizarding communities. But at 25, she should be thinking about the future, finding a stable career, maybe even buying a house of her own. And this new job in the Experimental Charms department was a first step. "Hello?" she called, shifting her backpack on her shoulder as she walked further into the room.

Calla nearly danced into the room, she was in a terrific mood. She was humming to her self and making her way to her desk; she had made it more than half way through the office when she noticed a new face. "OH, hello" She said brightly.

She walked over to the woman, "I'm Calla Ainsworth, I work on the Experimental Chamrs Committee." She stuck out her hand to great the woman. Smiling she asked, " Are you on the charms committee or the InvisibilityTask Force?"

After a thankfully uneventful trip in the lifts this morning, Gavin was on the right floor. A part of him thinking on what had transpired the night before as he walked down the corridor to the familiar office. As he reached for the door he thought he heard the faint sounds of humming, opening the door and stepping inside just as it quieted. He looked around and spotted Calla talking with someone...another unfamiliar someone and simply smiled, quietly walking to his desk.

Calla turned from the woman to see hiiim. She smiled brightly and eyed him briefly before realizing how obvious she was. Composing herself she said, "Good morning Gavin, how are you?"

She made her way back to her desk and got settled in, trying despirately to mask the giddiness.

Walking around his desk, Gavin turned to hang his coat on his chair and spotted Calla looking at him. "I am good and you?" he answered and returned the favor, smiling back as he took a seat as his own desk ready to begin the new day. His own demeanor appearing more calm then his companion.

She pulled out the Daily Prophet (since she had no task assigned) and opened it. "I'm well." She turned a page mindlessly.

"Have you heard? They're meshing Experimental Charms and Invisibility Task Force?" She wondered what the new task would be, and couldn't wait to work with Abigail.

Calla had just recieved the final approval on the cottage rental, and had yet to let Gavin know. Mostly because she got word after their date last night. She couldn't wait to tell him the news. She wanted to invite him over for dinner.

... A couple hours had passed and Calla felt her stomach getting hungry. "Oh my! I think I'm in need of some food." She walked passed Gavin's desk and gave him a slight wink.
