Jake noticed a newbee. "Hey there!" He smiled warmly, "I'm Jake Diorday, nice to see you here!" He too wondered which department, but calla had already asked. It was nice to have a lad around with all these girlls....but he wasn't complaining!

Tallin looked to the left of him where a young women poked her head up from her desk.She smiled politely at him.He was glad they were friendly around here.He could do with friendliness.She was pleasent and greeted him in a nice mannor.He looked at the sheet he had in his hand."Invisiblity Task Force"he said,shaking her small hand gently."Nice to meet you Calla"he said with a lope-sided grin.

Then there was another women.Wow,there were alot of women in this department.He smiled and shook his head.He was a gentleman,and he had been taught better.He looked to the women and nodded politely at her."Nice to meet you Dora..Im Tallin Burke."he said,with a swift nod and a raise of an eyebrow."I believe thats the team Ive been assigned too,the Invisiblity Task Force"he said to her.Polite young women.. very nice

Tallin heard a males deep voice from behind him,and sighed a little.He couldnt have all these women to himself could he! He was glad to see a males face."Hey there.."he said,shaking his hand."Nice to meet you,Im Tallin"he said,in a manly nature."Invisibility Task Force"he said nodded,"Its good to be here"he said nodding and glancing around the room.He was going to like it here he knew it.

Dora smiled brightly as Tallin said he was with the ITF. "Well, welcome to the team, Tallin. Hope you are ready to get to work. We will be going out to put the charms on the QWC Stadium soon. That should be loads of fun!" Dora said with a little bounce in her step. She kept playing with the ring on her finger and she was smiling from ear to ear. She skipped back to her desk and said, "Have a seat, Tallin. One of the Heads should be in soon."

"Nice to meet you too Tallin." She smiled at him again then turning to Dora and Jake she continued, "Looks like ya'll get him."

Calla went to her desk and sat down, mindlessly flipping another page in the file she looked back at Tallin out of the corner of her eye. Don't even start, stay focused on work. With that she went back to glancing over the files...

Tallin nodded at the women in front of him.She was sweet and bouncey.He knew that he would get along just fine with her.Something about her uplifting personality made him just want to smile.So he did.He listened to her carefully,wondering if he should be taking notes,but he rejected the thought.He should just relax and he'd be fine.He straightened his suit,so he was looking smart once more."That sounds alot of fun."he said,grinning.He looked down at her hand."Congratulations..by the way"he said,smiling a little.

"Thank you Dora.."he said,greatfully.

Tallin smiled a charming smile in Callas direction.He smoothed his hair down as she walked away."Thank you.."he called as she walked away.He was greatful for the welcome he'd recieved.He smiled a little gave her a certain look and turned to examin the rest of the room.Every so often,he could see her look in his direction.

He chuckled to himself and looked at her.He smiled once and then got out something in his pocket.He started to write some notes on what he needed to do.

Dora smiled at Tallin as he congratulated her. "Thanks! It just happened a few days ago and I am just getting used to having the ring on. And I am so excited about the QWC that I could just burst!" Dora exclaimed. As it were she had a little burst of magic manifest itself in her hair. It went from pink and blonde to baby blue in a matter of moments. Giggling a bit Dora said, "See, told you I was excited! And there is no need to thank me for anything! I am glad to have you on the team with Abby, Jack and I." Dora smiled sweetly and went back to flipping through bridal mags. SHe really thought Tallin was a sweet guy. He didn't seem to be put off by her bubbly personality either, so that was a plus. Oh I am sure we will become great friends! she thought to herself with a smile.

Calla pretended not to see him look at her. She did let out a smile before she held the folder up to shield her view of him. She did admit to herself that he was very attractive. Well, either way, she thought, I won't be approaching him. She didn't want to make the mistake she made last week... hmmf!


Flipping her hair over her shoulder and turning to face Dora she said,"Dora, have you made any plans? Picked a date?" Calla had had time to talk to her friend since the Ryan incident when she stormed out of the cafeteria.

Tallin smiled at the women and nodded."My sister just got married and that was lovely,and I hope all the best for you and your husband,hes a lucky man"he said,relaxing back into his chair.He nodded."Yes,theres been alot of buzz about it in the office back at the Department of Education,where I previously worked..but we didnt really have anything to do with it, you know?"he said with a short nodd.He watched with amazement at the women in front of her and then let out a little chuckle."Yeah,I cant wait to get to work.."he nodded a little.

He could see her looking at him every so often.It did make him laugh a little.Tallin had never faniced himself attractive,but he did like it when girls took an interest in him,like this female had done so evidently.He looked at her for a moment.He sighed a little.He didnt really know her that well,and well he felt a little out of his depth for once in his life.He shook his head a litttle and made himself consintrate on something else,not wanting anyone to really catch him over thinking.

Abigail headed down the hallway and immanently stopped in the doorway of her office when she spotted the little crowd. At first, she thought it was a party, but then she noticed there was a new employee in the room. Oh, yes. New employee meant everyone crowds around him/her. She forgot. Teehee. "Hello there," she greeted the man as well as the crowd in the room. "I'm Abigail Weather. Division Head for the Invisibility Task Force. And, who might you be?"

Calla sighed, leaned back and stretched. Looking around the room she saw everyone was busy working, she needed a break though. Quietly she got up, "I'll be back, I need to take a break. I'll be in the breakroom if anyone wants to join." Glancing again around room, she hoped someone would follow, breaks by yourself are never fun.

With that Calla slipped out of the room.

Dora smiled at Tallin when he said Silas was a lucky man... oh this dude was a charmer! Than Calla spoke up and asked had they set a date. "Um, it only just happened, so no we have not planned anything yet. I will surely let you know when and where though." DOra told her with a smile.

Abby entered the office and introduced herself to Tallin and Dora smiled at her from her desk and said, "Hey Abby, I think I am going to join Calla in the breakroom for a bit if you don't mind. If you need me send a memo."

With that Dora flashed Tallin a smile and gave Jack a quick wink and bouned from the room.

Tallin nodded a little at Calla."I might join you in a little while..I need to get myself sorted you know?"he said with a gentle smile.He looked around for a moment."Where do I set up then.."he said a little puzzled about that.He was still looking around when he heard a voice,another females.He turned on his heel."Pleasure.."he said,"Im Tallin Burke..and your new Employee"he said,with a charming smile.

He watched Dora leave."I might see you in a while.."he called after her as she exited for the Break Room.

Calla was leaving already? Abigail frowned and waved goodbye to the woman before looking towards Dora, who had just said she was going to join Calla in the breakroom. Aww, Dora was leaving too? She waved goodbye to Dora, and then looked towards the guy in the office that she had just introduced herself to.

"You can set you're stuff there," Abigail answered as she pointed over to an empty desk near her own desk. It was sad that nobody had occupied that desk yet. Were people afraid that Miss Weather would bite? Pssh. She doesn't bite and she isn't even that mean. "New Employee? Well, welcome to to Invisibility Task Force, Tallin," she said with a smile. "Are you new to the Ministry or did you change departments?" Abby was just curious.

A while later ~

Dora came back into the office with the same goofy/happy smile on her face as when she left. Never having made it down to the breakroom Dora had wandered around the corridor for a bit.

She smiled at Abby when she reentered and took a seat at her desk. With the lovely ring on that very important finger she said to Abby, "Any news on the stadium's progress, Abby?"

Junipers owl flew in and landed on Calla's desk with a note tied to his leg.

Calla strolled back into the office after her break. As she did an owl flew past her and on to her desk. Curious. She quickened her pace and reached the desk. Reading the letter Calla's jaw dropped! It was JUNE!

Months ago June disappeared and Calla hadn't seen hide-nor-hair of her. Flipping the parchment over she scribbled a note back saying she would be there shortly. She attached the letter and let the bird out of the office.

"Mel, I hope you don't mind I've got to run" Calla grabbed her bag, waved by to everyone (stealing another glance at Tallin), flung it on to her shoulder and she headed to the Leaky.

Hearing someone enter the room, Abigail turned her attention to...Dora? Didn't she just leave not too long ago? She looked down at the watch on her wrist, and then back to Dora. Hm, it has only been 15 minutes. That was one fast trip to the breakroom!

"Nope," she answered. "I haven't heard anything from Ben, yet." After answering Dora's question, her eyes noticed something on Dora's left hand. Was that a RING? Ohmygosh! It was. "Doraaaaa," she squealed. "Congratulations."

Dora furrowed her brow a little when Abby said there had been no news from Ben on the stadium. But that was quickly wiped off her face when Abby let out a squeal.

Smiling widely again Dora blushed a bit and nearly squealed back. As it were her hair went baby blue instantly and she said, "Oh, thanks so much. It just happened a few days ago. Silas had me go on a scavenger hunt and it was the cutest thing." She knew she was gushing but she was just so darn in love that it was ridiculous.

Abigail walked over to Dora and gave her a quick little hug. She was SO very proud of Dora's engagement and, truthfully, it was about time her and Silas got engaged! They were made for each other, no doubt about it. "A scavenger hunt? Aww. That is cute," she replied. "Do you know how lucky you are, Dora? To find a guy like Silas? He's definitely one in a million." She nodded her head as she spoke. It was all true.

Dora smiled wider and wider as Abby talked about how lucky she was. She nodded her head and said, "Abby, I couldn't agree with you more. Silas is so wonderful and I do know how lucky I am, I truly do. And once I set a date you better mark it on your calendar because I definitely want you there to share in our happiness." Dora was pretty sure her hair was going rainbow bright on her, but she just smiled and let it go on. "And you're right, he IS one in a million, isn't he?!" Dora gushed as she walked over and plopped down at her desk.

His first day at work in his new job, Gavin was sure to arrive a little earlier then his shceduled time so if anything happened he wouldn't have to worry about being late. He made his way through the ministry, showing his idea when it was requested and finally made it to the door of the office he had been directed to.

Entering quietly, he looked around noticing there were a few people already there and slowly approached where a group of women were talking figuring they might be able to help him. "Excuse me," he replied. "Perhaps you may help me. I'm here for my job on the Experimental Charms Committee."

Dora turned her head when another male voice announced that he was looking for his Divison Head. My Merlin.. so many men in this office now!!

She turned and smiled and stuck her hand out saying, "You are in the right place. I'm Dora Lovegood, with the Invisibility Task Force. Welcome to the fun." SHe smiled brightly at the man. Her baby blue hair was slowly turning to a cute shade of lavender as she spoke.

Gavin smiled back as he was greeted and offered a hand to shake, graciously accepting it with a shake. "Gavin McNally," he said in introduction, the man absently watching the woman's hair change colors. "Nice to meet you and thank you for your welcome. I'll be sure to look out for the fun," he replied added the last with a quiet chuckle.

"Well, Gavin, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am sure you will love it here." Dora replied as she took a seat at her own desk and began thumbing through a magazine again. Oh what a day it was! Planning a wedding.. or an elopement took a lot of concentration.

Calla walked in to the office wearing a kelly green dress. It looked perfect with her red hair. As she walked to her desk she saw yet another new face, "Hi, I'm Calla Ainsworth. I'm on Experimental Charms." She stuck out her hand to greet him.

"Did I hear you say you're on the Experimental Charms?" She asked him expectantly. Another man in the office and he was on her and Mel's side of the office!
