"And, when it comes to duelling, people can think of a bunch of spells to through, we don't need to promote it.. not even a little" she said with a wink looking down at her files again. She soon looked up, and heard Calla speaking " That's a good one, but I can think of a better usage to it, instead of giving it to the parents, we should give them to the aurors and security wizards, so they can calm the kids down if necessary.. what do you think? I mean, if we give the parent's a complete arsenal on how to make their kids the most inoffensive things that walked the earth, they will surely use it all, and then the kids won't enjoy the cup, not a little.." she frowned a little, it was true, it would be so unrealistic if there were no kids screaming and running around.

She chuckling imagining how little Selene would behave.

"You know I hadn't thought of that, you're right though." Calla giggled at the thought of parents making their kids walking zombies. "The aurors would have a great use for it, not only that but what if they developed a way to use the charm on adults! That would be very helpfu.l"

Walking back to her desk she remembered that valentines day was nearing. uggg! Feeling a bit down on herself, and her singleness she slumped into her desk with a heavy sigh, opened her files and started back to work. She wasn't really reading the files though, she was scolding herself for not going out more, how else are you expected to meet anyone when you just go to work and home... She was lost in thought.

Melanie giggled " oh well" she breathed out brushing her hair back.

"Merlin, time does fly by here doesn't it?" she exclaimed gathering her things " I better hurry up and go pick my baby! She's so grown up, you have got to stop by someday!" and with that she send a flying kiss to Calla and left.

Dora looked up rather startled as Mel exclaimed that she was leaving and mentioned Selene. Sigh. Babies were so great. Calling after her she said, "Bye Mel! Give S a hug for me!" Glancing at her watch she barely stifled a giggle. It was time for her to go home to Silas. "By Calla and Abby. I am out of here too." she said with loads of excitement in her voice. She gathered her things and skipped out the door.

Melanie peeked inside the office and when she made sure no one was looking, she pushed and pulled an enormous box inside. She placed it right in the middle of the room and decided to hide in a corner.

A paper airplane flies into the room and comes to a rest on your desk, unfolding and smoothing out to reveal...

Calla strolled into the office humming a tune, The Puppy Song by Harry Nilsson. She was dressed brightly, emerald green skirt with a purple top, it clashed but oddly went well together. Her red hair was down and was bright against the purple shirt.

Upon entering the room she saw a very large box, what in merlin? Calla wasn't sure about this and she drew her wand, surveying the box carefully.

Noticing the paper airplane, she grabbed the sheet of paper with her un-wanded hand and read it, carefully keeping an eye on the box at the same time. Oh no, what about Craig and little Selene! That's crummy for them!

Melanie watched it from the far corner, behind a desk, where she was hidden. Good thing she was wearing jeans. She had spent her entire night preparing that, so she and Calla could have some fun.

She waited to see what she would do next.

Placing the parchment back down, she returned her full attention to the box. After rounding the entire perimeter of the box she used her chair to carefully climb up on to her desk to get a better view of the top.

Calla motioned her wand, and did a few silent incantations in an attempt to open the box.

Melanie felt like giggling but she controlled herself. As soon as Calla touched the box, it would open revealing a dummy, a dummy of a kid with a very nasty temper, to see if some of the restraining spells would work.

Calla climbed down off the desk, she approached it again and touched the side of the box. The box disappeared and a horrible tempered child appeared. The child was swearing, throwing fits, and being erratic. Calla knew this had to be a test.

She backed up, the child threw a cup at her, and she deflected it. As she defelcted it she tripped and fell. The child came at her and tried to pull her hair. Calla got to her feet and raised her wand and said firmly, "Disaplino Bambio".

The child dummy was silenced, Calla concentrated on making the child dummy behave. The child dummy, after a moment, sat down and acted like a good little boy.

"Phew" Calla sighed loudly. My god, that child was horrible!

Melanie came from her hiding spot with tears in her eyes. That had been way too funny to watch. She had no idea what the dummy boy would do, but this? She was laughing loudly when she reached Calla and patted on her back.

"Good girl!" she exclaimed still laughing. She looked like a hurricane had swept the office. " That one was full of energy right?" and she laughed.

Calla was still getting her bearing, and was trying to figure out what in merlin's name just happen. How did this box get here, who brought it? All of a sudden she heard a woman; she wheeled around wand at the ready - only to find Mel laughing hysterically.

Calla reached for a desk and sat on it, her hair was going 10 different directions and she was sure she looked like a mess. Her legs were kind of wobbly from all the excitement. Calla started to laugh with Mel, “That child was a holy terror! In need of plenty of discipline!” Catching her breath she continued, “So, we know the spell works huh? I would suggest this though; it takes a good deal of concentration, not for the easily distracted.”

Swipping her hair out of her face, "So, how have you been you sneaky little rat?' Calla was in a full belly laugh now, thinking about how the whole thing must have looked.

She sat next to Calla on the desk.
"Let's hope Selene doesn't turn out to be like that" she said happily " I decided to give you some on the field training. I know we're going to have an actual spot to do that but in the meanwhile..." She let her bag slide to the ground and yawned behind her hand.

"Ahhhm other than playing pranks like this to my girls, just work, S and Craig! And you, any news?" she said elbowing her in a friendly way.

"Oh and what are you and Craig going to do about that?" She pointed to the parchment that indicated no werewolves were allowed at the WQC.

"I'm sure Selene won't turn out like that, I just can't see that happening." Calla shook her head and giggled.


"Well," Calla said blushing, "There's one person I've been talking to." She stopped short, and bit her lip. "But I don't know, we'll see." She shurgged, and looked away nervously. She had spent alot of time talking with Ryan, and wasn't sure if it was going to amount to anything yet. But in the mean time she as enjoying his company.

"Oh, is Dora suppose to come in today? Can we set up the box for her?" Calla thought it would be most entertaining to watch her go after the nasty little boy.

Melanie shook her head sadly " I'm no sure what I'm going to do about that, but this can't be it. Craig has the right to watch the cup and his mother too, just because the QC date is near a fullmoon..." she made an angry noise from the bottom of her tongue and looked away, trying to release the anger.

Then she was quickly distracted by the eminence of a GUY in that sentence Calla was starting " Is that person a man?" she asked curiously, all giggles " Oh goodie!" and she clapped her hands once, laughing at the idea of Dora fighting the dummy.

"That can be arranged" she said, taking her wand out and waving it. The box appeared again and the package looked as harmless as it had looked before.

"Yea I don't think it's very fair either." Calla lowered her brow and got upset for Mel, "Isn't that discrimination?"

"Well, yes he is." Calla's face went scarlet. "yea he's really nice, we've just talked in the cafeteria. Kinda bumped into each other." Calla had butterflies at the thought of Ryan. "Ehh, Well we'll see" She tried to push the hopeful thoughts out of her mind - she considered herself a pessimistic realist, she figured it kept her from being disappointed too often.

"I know Dora won't know the spells, but it would be hilarious to see her have a go at it!" Calla was again laughing hysterically. She went to the corner that Mel hid in and crouched low, and waited.

Dora trotted into the office, her eyes on the piece of parchment in her hands. SHe was seething mad about all of the anti werewolf stuff going on lately. She then ran into something in the middle of the office. "Oof!"

Before Dora could get a good look at what was happening she had to drop all of her things and unholster her wand. A mad...baby? Bloody hell, Melanie had the craziest schemes!

Oh! That baby was a hot mess. He came toward Dora kicking and screaming. Without thinking she yelled out, "Locomotor Mortis!"

Melanie had her hand covered to avoid giggling, she looked over at Calla and made signs with her hands, the baby was now hanging in the air but still trying to pull hair and throw things at Dora. It was simply hilarious, she had no idea the child would be this.. alive.

Calla was doubled over in a serious belly laugh, it was everything she could do to stay silent. Calla pointed her wand and silently cast, "Locomotor", allowing the boy to be freed from the spell and move around. Calla started giggling again. What would Dora do now?

Dora pointed her wand at the dunny and yelled "Reducto" as it made it's way for her again.

ooc: I couldn't find a counter for it, but that does put things in motion, so I went with it! tehee!


Calla couldn't hold it in any longer, the little thing running around was absolutely hilarious! Calla fell to the floor in laughter, ultimatley revealing their hiding spot.

Spinning on her heel toward the laughter she frowned at Calla and said, "What are you all getting at, setting a bloody demented dummy on me like that?!" Her hair was trying to turn red but Dora stopped it.

Silas had been in his own office when he heard a ruckus down the hall. Heading over to see what it was, he stood in the doorway of Dora's office just as she cast a charm to explode... a baby?

Wait what?

Looking around, Silas saw Calla tumble onto the ground laughing, and, turning back to the baby in pieces, noticed it was a dummy.

Stifling a giggle, Silas looked to Dora. Oh dear. She looked... not happy.

"Oh Dora, it's all in fun." Calla regained her composure, stood and walked toward the mini baby that was now in pieces. "Mel had placed it there to test me, and I thought it'd be funny to see what you would do." Calla was hoping Dora wasn't upset, but that the same time it was just a joke. Calla was unaware of Dora's violent recent past - otherwise she might have not pulled the prank.

Calla didn’t notice Dora’s hair start to turn crimson, but she did notice Silas enter the room.

Silas’ smirk started Calla’s giggles off again. Oh this was awesome.
