"Im not quite sure where they would have put the spell and get to only release when used" Zoey said. "What do you think?" She pushed the laptop over to Hannah

"Well," Hannah said after examinig the laptop, "I think that they may have put it on the pad where they move the mouse on. If you're using the laptop, you have to use the mouse, right?"

"Yeah i think so." Zoey said. "Lets try that." She removed the covering of the mouse pad and waved the spell locator over top of it when i shown bright red. "I think we found something."

"Oh wow!" Hannah said, "Maybe we should try to remove the spell now. Only how?" Hannah thought for a bit then flicked her wand over the pad. A black light emissioned from it, then slowly it changed to grey then blinding white.
"Well, I did an identification spell on it. What do you suppose that was? I've never seen one like that before!"

"I've never seen that either." Zoey said puzzled. "Maybe we should get the head in here."

"Yeah we should," Hannah confirmed. "Would you like to come? I'm going now, there's no use in waiting."

"Ok lets go" Zoey said

Rebecca walked in "Hello how are you doing?"

"Well we are unsure about this spell that was used and got nothing from the others we asked." Zoey said. "What do you think?"

Rebecca looked at Zoey "hmm, well then, maybe you should use this spell, Incantatem Revealis" Rebecca looked at Zoey "I have something for you both" she handed Zoey the note
Rebecca watched Zoey closely to see her reaction "Oh, and another thing, i am now your division head, Ms O'Connor has had to leave, she had a few problems" Rebecca smiled and sat down

Zoey read the note. "Ok" she said glad to hear that her boss would be around more. "Will the goblin be coming down her or do i need to meet him somewhere?"

"I'm not sure, i'll ask Syd" Rebecca nodded

Clarissa knocked once at the door before opening it and striding inside. "I need to speak with the Division head please." She requested, still holding both coins and purse tightly in her hands. She figured the head would be the best person to consult in regard to the purse. She had to have a broader knowledge base than Clarissa did in muggle artifactts.

Rebecca turned around "Thats me" She held out her hand "Rebecca Todd"

Clarissa smiled, pleased that she had found the division head so quickly. "Clarissa Harel." She introduced herself, shaking the other woman's hand. "I'm part of Auror division and have been assigned to the case regarding the self-stealing purses." She held up the purse that had been given to her.

"I came here in search of your expertise. I was wondering what mechanisms would be involved in causing a purse to steal money."

Rebecca nodded "Hello Clarissa" Rebecca smiled "An extra pocket, a secret pocket, and it would have to be a big pocket to hold all that money" Rebecca looked at the floor thoughtfully "I think that is all it would need, oh and the wizard or witch who cast the charm, and who empties the money"

Clarissa listened carefully to Rebecca as she answered her initial question. "Hmmm, pockets within the purse..." Unclapsing the purse she held in her hand, she glanced around within it, searching for such a pocket. "Perhaps it is hidden...for I don't see any in here, except for small ones that look as though they wouldn't be able to handle anything more than a few coins."

Glancing up at Rebecca, she spoke once more. "I do wonder though...how the money would be transferred out of the purse to the person responsible for collecting the money? Does it just disappear to a certain location? Or is it something else?" She wondered out loud.

Rebecca nodded "hmm, i thought about that, maybe it is a porkey charm, or an unknown charm" Rebecca thought about the other things it could be and stared at the purse

Clarissa blinked, surprised at the conclusion. "Hmmm, portkey...now that is certainly an idea..." She murmured, trailing off as she pondered over such a thought. "Seems plausible...." She chuckled. "Though an unknown charm could be a possibility as well. In our case, that wouldn't be a very good for us, but perhaps another department in the Ministry may have some sort of idea."

Rebecca nodded "Well you can do a charm to see if a spell has been cast on it, here, 'Natum Revealis'" Rebecca pointed her wand at the purse and saw a green substance come out of it "Green means a disappearing charm of some sort, I'm not sure which yet but, it is a charm"

Clarissa grinned as Rebecca suddenly cast a spell into the purse, a light green substance bubbling out of it. Cool! "Hmm, well, that does help then; at least in pointing us in a particular direction. Perhaps someone in the experimental charms department would know the exact charm." She remarked. "It's worth a try."

Rebecca nodded "Give it a try!"

Clarissa nodded resolutely. "I will. By the way, do you happen to know who the division head is for the Counterfeit department? I'm on my way there as well to ask questions about the coins that I have, and it would be nice to know who is in charge."

"That would be me" Rebecca smiled "If you go i will catch you up"

"My goodness! You must stay busy!" Clarissa exclaimed as Rebecca revealed that she was the division head. "Well, that's wonderful. I'll head up to the charms department, ask a few questions there and then head over to the counterfeit division to speak with you further, and let you know any findings."

Slinging the purse back onto her shoulder, Clarissa bid Rebecca a quick goodbye and then fairly flew out of the door towards the third floor.
