The Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Room Watch out for the cell phone that won't stop talking... This is the room where stuff like that runs rampant, so always be alert. This is a cozy room full of deep filing cabinets for storing improperly used muggle items. The desks are all lined up in neat rows on the left wall while the rows of cabinets dominate the right. If you get something like, say a flying car, try to shrink it before filing it. Division head: Rebecca Todd (Becky) |
Erin walked into the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts office across the hall, and placed her hands on her hips hoping that this branch of her department would get underway soon, until it did, she would be working it herself. |
"Hello Erin are you ready for your date?" Forrester asked as he entered the office. The office was a cozy room full of deep filing cabinets for storing improperly used muggle items. The desks are all lined up in neat rows on the left wall while the rows of cabinets dominate the right. |
"I'm ready" She smiled, grabbing her purse. "So where are we going for lunch Forrester?" She asked him softly. |
"Hogsmeade I know the perfect place there" Forrester replied as he closed the door behind Erin. "I guess we should head towards the ministry's entrance so we get to apparate." He continued as he moved towards the lift passing by his office. |
"Ok." She said softly, as he guided her to the lift. "So how has your first day been? Anything exciting happening?" ooc: Next post main level? |
"Well I got the first assignment we are supposed to check a warehouse in a muggle village... But I need to form a team first so we will see...I guess I might use some Hit Wizards but I will have to run it up by Nicoli and you?" Forrester asked. |
Erin walked into the Misuse of Muggle artifacts office where she had a meeting with a new employee. |
Hannah walked into the room. "Wow, I like this room. It's cosy and sweet, and it looks like it's going to be fun working here!" She wondered around, looking at the labels on the cabinets, chuckling at some of the completely ridiculous ones, all while wondering what she should do before someone will come and introduce her to the finer details of this department. |
Erin stood and walked over to the young woman who had just walked into the room. "Hello, you must Be Hannah Granger. My name is Erin O'Connor, I'm your Division head." She smiled, extending her hand to the young woman. |
"Hello!" Hannah said, reaching out and shaking Erin's hand enthusiastically. "I'm so glad to be here! Do you have an assignment for me yet?" I need to make a good impression, Hannah thought, she musn't think I'm lazy. Oh how I wish I knew what McGonagall wrote about me! I really hope it was good things! |
"I am working on an assignment for you, The Aurors are investigating a Warehouse and if they find anything I will let you know, meanwhile your best bet is to scour through these muggle magazines and newspapers." Erin said, placing a stack on the desk. "Because anything a muggle thinks is wierd usually appears in these." |
"Ok," Hannah said brightly, "I'll get straight to work then!" Inside, she briethed a sigh of relief. Her first assignment was so simple! That's a good way to show her boss that she is going to be the best employee they ever had! "Oh, and, are there more emplyees that you are expecting? I just want to know the number of people I'll be working with." |
"As far as I am awary we're expecting one more person." Erin smiled. |
Biting toothbrushes... whistling doors... an invisible car, the poor Muggles! And they think it's been stolen! "Miss. O'Connor, once I have found some items that need to be looked into, do I inform you first? And if so, then what do I do? Because some of these things are quite dangerous. There's this toilet which is... Never mind. So, I inform you? Hannah asked, while reading a Muggle newspaper with a shocked expression on her face. |
Erin smiled. "Make me a list, and I will get them to Mr. Wordsmith for approval then either a MLES member or an Auror and an obliviator will go with you to sort it out." Erin replied. "If I'm not in here, I will be in the Improper use of Magic office." |
Ok, here it is then. A summary of this month's misused muggle aritfacts: 1. A toilet which spits out anything that's put into it. 2. A chandelier which keeps crashing on people's heads then self-mending itself. 3. A haywire axe (some injuries were fatal). 4. Shrinking tables and chairs. 5. A radio that spits fire whenever someone tries to tune it to a specific channel. P.S. I only have some addresses, not all. Is that ok? |
Erin read over the list. "This looks good, I'll take it yo Syd and get us an obliviatior and either an Auror or an MLES to come with you. "You must shrink and file the objects here." Erin replied. |
"Sure boss! When would we go and retrieve these items?" Hannah asked. Not that she had a busy schedule, but she still wanted to know |
"As soon as we have the ok, and get some backup." Erin answered. |
"Ok!" Hannah said brightly. |
Siobhan dragged herself into the office. She looked around and raised an eyebrow. This place was…strange, to say the least. “I’m here. Let’s get this over with”, she said curtly. Oh, how she hated that Erin woman. Nicoli owed her, that was for sure. |
Erin walked into the office. "Good morning." She said to them both. She hoped Siobahn was a little nicer today. |
Siobhan simply nodded at the woman in acknowledgment. She keep her frown and continued looking around. She still wasn't quite sure why they needed a Hit Wizard anyway. |
"Ok, this Morning we will be travelling to Cardiff to deal with our rather large misuse of muggle artifacts problem. Hannah and i will contain the artifacts, Our Obliviator, once they arrive here to go with us, will modify the memories of all muggles involved. Siobahn your job will be the arrest and containment of our suspect." Erin said softly. |
