But now was not the time for vanities, she was on a mission. She pressed the button for Level 6, one of the three levels she was in charge of checking. She breathed in and out, trying to calm herself down.

Richard entered the lifts thinking hard where the elves could have gone. This was getting out of hand. Then at that moment he got a prickle at the back of his neck. Usually it was normal to sense magic in the air around here but that was wizarding magic, this sense was different. He could even smell it, it was like having vinegar on a familiar food. He decided to go on his instincts and get off at level 5

It was easy to get away. Easy to forget thinking about it- about her. If you just stopped his mind from running. Thankfully- he had work to do, Mr. Wenride had made sure of that, still holding the Owl Post he had recieved this morning- His eyes were tired-, who could blame him- he hadn't slept at all and the only sleep he had was enough since he got up early too. Highly unlike him.
When the Lifts opened- and Ewan came face to face with Bella- his empty stomch dropped. For a moment- he stood there, looking at her- but somehow he had himself prepared for this and entered the lifts after dropping his gaze. Pressing the Level Eight button- Ewan stood beside her- making sure the distance was enough.- enough for him to stand still without falling down.

Bella's insides twisted when the doors opened on level seven and Ewan stood in front of her. The very person she was forcing herself not to think about. It was like it was impossible, but to make the impossible possible, she was going to go eat. Since the wedding was over, she barely had work to do. At least Reagan hadn't come up to her to tell her she had something to do ... yet.
So unlimited time. She could try reading novels ... but something or the other would remind her of him. She tried reading other books -- but she couldn't concentrate.
And now ... he was there.
She'll never be able to not think of him now. But she had to try. Try not to think of the person you are in love with. Ha!
Her eyes darted on the button he had pressed -- Level 8. The same one she was going to. Oh great. Thinking that he'll be on the same floor as her. After yesterday. " ... I ... " She wanted to apologise, but she couldn't get the words out of her mouth. So she bit her lip and just waited. He seemed to have nothing to say to her. But why would he? She had been so ... URGH! Possibly the longest ride in a lift then. Ewan was staring at the Lift doors- when would they open and when he could actually breathe- It as hard even trying to breathe when Bella was so near- so near that if he wanted he could tocuh her but he had to pretend like it was nothing. There was nothing.
And his stomach dropped again- dropped for good when he heard hier voice- It was more like an agony or something- He wanted to scream until his lungs would fall of or something. He turned to look at her- but she had quitened herself and even though he wanted to ask a lot of question, acuss her of many things- beg him to tell him the truth- or ask her to even lie- He couldn't find his voice, his throat too dry.
He couldn't form a phrase in his mind that would make any sense in his mind- He was clutching the note in his hand too tightly- WHEN WOULD THE LIFT DOORS OPEN! .. and they opened.
And Ewan walked out- without stopping himself from looking at her agaian. And he knew he wanted her.

Bella wasn't sure what to do. It felt like it was taking ages, although it was just one floor away from their destination. Even her ride from level one to level seven had been quicker.
Finally! It was open. She let him go forward and once he was outside, Bella walked out, but she didn't realise he was about to turn around a look at her. HOW WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO KNOW?! But when she realised he was standing there and not walking, Bella ran into him and stumbled. Uh-oh! She was about to fall on him.
Where was the justice in this world? She was trying to FORGET about him -- and that was already impossible to do. | |

This would be more complicated than Ewan had signed in for. She wanted him to walk away- he had walked away now why was everything about her- making him so frustrated. Why was he to suffer when he was doing as told?
He was suppose to walk awya now- looking at her for more than longer was hard for him- too hard. So when he turned- two things happened a bit too quickly. He immediately felt her touch- her arm brushing his arm and his heart picked up that frantic rythm and unconsiously his own hand reached to grab her arm from having her fall down- and his other hand reached to balance her up and he stumbled himself.
And now he was looking at her again- Agian looking down in those eyes. He felt he was being punished, he had to be. Bella. Bella. Bella. Bella.
He wanted to runaway. But he was holding her again- and feeling her touch, again. He was being punished.

See. No justice what-so-ever. Wasn't it enough that she was falling on him that he had to catch her and then fall over too? Jeash. And as expected, his touch made her heart accelerate and the warmth spread through her again. She could hear the thumping. And he was holding her. AND they were on the floor and she lay on top of him.
Perfect.
What was this punishment for telling him to go away?! She had her reasons. But did this world have to make them run into each other just hours after the incident?
Erm ... yes.
"I am so sorry." She had said that last night before running away too. And it was like she was apologising for the way she reacted yesterday and for stumbling today.
She hoped that the friendship they had had since the past five years or so wouldn't be effected by ... Well, of course it would. It would be fair if he never wanted to see her again. And to be honest, she doubted that things could go back to normal again. But she'll try ... however impossible it may seem. As much as she wanted him, she'll try. She had to. | |

And she was in his arms. Again.
He really couldn't bring himself to think over this situation- His hand was frozen at the side of her arm - not literally \ofcourse- but he couldn't bring himself to move it- it was already making him think about the other night- it would be harder to stop himself from holding onto her if he moved a bit too- and found himself in contact with her in any more ways.
This was torture.
When she said 'I am sorry,'- wan found it as a click of a Bell and immediately got off her, already feeling the regret again. "No its fine," He cleared his throat, trying to clear his alreayd too Bella foggy-ey mind.
They weren't going anywhere. They were stuck. She wasn't suppose to say anything- why did she say anything? She should just walk away- so Ewan didn't have to think about it all over again- think about her again and have his mind haunted by her presence.

Bella got off the floor and stood in front of him, her eyes rested on his when he said 'it's fine' and she felt the weird charge fill the atmosphere once more. She wanted to explain eveything to him. To tell him why she ran away last night and why she was so afraid. "Ewan, I ..." She started speaking, "Well ... I wanted to exp --" She stopped short and then started again.
"Thank you."
She nodded at him and turned around and strode back towards the cafeteria.
URGH! Why didn't you just say it? But maybe it was best if he didn't know. If he was oblivious. Yes. That probably was the best. | |

They were looking at each other again- Ewan couldn't take his eyes off hers- which made him stand stil and see hr chnage of emotions.This was harder than he thought it would be. He stared at her face as she started to say something. Was she feeling sorry for him? Was it all written on his face- whatever that was going on in that head of his. Who could balme her?- She probabaly wasn't hoping to bump into him- as if he hadn't ruined their friendship enough.
Stupid mind.
It was a one simple kiss- and he had made a big deal out of it. He had expected something out of it that probabaly wasn't there- He felt guilty for making Bella so uncomfortable - But at the same- her face said alll the things so very differently. It seemed there were things to say.
Bella. Bella.
GAHH! His mind was going freeeeeekin' crazy. How can One girl and her one Kiss drive him so mad? His normal brain workings were totally tampered by her. Her scent. Her touch. The damn Kiss.
When she finally Thanked him and turned away to walk away. His stomach did a flip- she was walking away. It certainly did Hurt seeing herwa;l away'. He leaned back on the wall- banging his head slightly on the wall. Why was this happening to him? "Stop it, Ewan. . ." He sighed to himself, running his hands in his too messy hair.
When she was out of sight- Ewan stood straight again, feeling his empty stomach kick in again. He had, again, forgotten he was hungry.
Cafeteria. Now.
Bellla. Forever.

As he walks in the elevator, Lance pressed on the "8" button. He had just left behind a Jake who seems to be with an interesting girl. By the looks of it he had a crush on her and she seems to have the same feeling about him. This was rather amusing for him since it was usually his friend who was teasing him about that kind of stuff. Waiting for the lift to finally arrived to destination he leaned against the wall and yawned.
