Only a distant crack could be heard as Teal Andrus apparated into the thunderstorm. His robes were instantly drenched as he eyed the outside of the dreary forest. He really couldn’t have picked a worse day to do this, and he wasn’t going to hear the end of it from Miss Mayes.

Teal pulled out his wand instinctually, being around the forest always made him on edge. He looked down at his watch, he could only see the numbers at the crack of lightning. It was almost one o’clock, everyone should be showing up SOON.

The rain continued to come in torrents, and Teal stood there with his arms crossed. His blue eyes were closed and he looked horribly angry. If there was a day not to mess with this man, today was it.

The sound of George's Apparition was drowned out by a particularly large BOOM! She snarled. She hadn't understood why she had to come along on this wild Fwooper chase, but she was not the type to back down from anything. Even in the most inclement weather she'd ever seen.

"Nice scheduling Fearless Leader," she drawled, "Trying to get us all pneumonia? If you were worried about missing my birthday, it's several months passed, and I prefer shoes to infectious diseases."

However on this day rather than her usual smart outfits and expensive shoes, George had opted to dress way way down, and don hiking boots rather than high heals.

At the crack of thunder, Teal suddenly felt a presence to his right. He jumped just a bit, being taken out of his trance. It was Georgia Mayes; Teal’s expression fell even further.

And with the sound of a gun (it seemed) her sassy remarks were flying from that gaping hole she called a mouth. “Sorry I missed it Georgia.” Teal snarled, as his body was starting to ice over due to the freezing rain. “Ever heard of the impervious charm?” He asked sarcastically, sullen blue eyes going her way. It would work quite well with the rain, actually. With rain like this though, it would take a lot of dedication. And Teal didn’t have time to worry about the impervious charm.

“C’mon Violet, where are you.” Teal shivered. Maybe she was brining the rest of the division with her. She was head over beasts.

"Yippee, Rain." Was the first words out of Kasandra's mouth as she appeared behind the other two that had already appeared. Within the 30 seconds of her being in the forest, her waist length hair was dripping with rain, as she. Kasandra looked over at Teal and Georgia as her long black hair turned into short blond hair. She had a feeling long hair would only add to effort needed on this little adventure.

"Where is everyone else?" She asked taking her wand out of her back pocket.

Violet Apparated right as the rain seemed to increase. She was dry when she arrived, but within seconds she was soaking wet. Quickly, she twisted her hair up into a bun - much easier to see everything if it wasn't in her eyes, and she wouldn't have to deal with it dripping down her back. She pulled her sopping cloak hood up over her sopping hair and squinted through the downpour. She could see the small group a few feet away and approached them.
"Sorry if I'm late, my daughter had a rough start this morning, it took forever to get her out of bed," she said apologetically. She was beginning to shiver a bit. "Teal ,the other members of the Beast Division should be here soon." She smiled wryly. Pulling out her wand, Violet proceeded with an attempt at the impervious charm. "I-i-i-imper-r-vius," she chattered. Nothing happened. She was too cold to speak clearly. Violet put her wand away. It wouldn't do to drop it where it was so dark.

Rowan Aparated a short distance from the group and was instantly drenched. Luckily she had worn her tough jeans and a long sleeved shirt along with her traveling cloak. Her long wavy red hair was pinned up in a haphazard bun, some strands had managed to escape and were now plastered around her face.

Sighing she joined the small group at the edge of the forest. "Lumos." The tip of her wand ignited showing her the faces of Teal, Violet, George, and Kasandra. "Hello." Rowan was a bit apprehensive to be on this mission but at the same time excited. It gave her a chance to get away from her desk and do some real good.

Oh look, Team Beastie... George rolled her eyes.

She wasn't letting her people anywhere near this mission even if it did turn out to concern them, and they had no evidence to that effect at the moment so she wasn't about to call Fledgling and the rest of Team Being out to this attempted drowning.

Andrus really needed to learn when to shut up. Another snarl escaped her.

"I thought I made myself perfectly clear on how you should address me," she snapped. That is, if you don't want to find a tarantula in your shorts. she added as a mental note.

"Oh look Fearless Leader, your call has been answered, here is Silvermoon. Do you have a telepathic link?" she asked.

All the same, she cast the Impervius charm on herself... because it was a good idea. And she liked not having a runny nose on her upcoming date.

Violet regarded the Being head with her strange purple eyes. Not that you could see their color in this light. She had never officially met Ms. Mayes; she seemed like an...interesting person. Violet's eyebrows pulled together. How could she and Teal already be in an argument?
"Try to stop fighting," she rebuked gently. "We're going to need to stick together today." She felt uncomfortable telling her own boss what to do, but she was worried about what would happen if the centaurs sensed a weakness in their group.

Rowan wasn't quite sure what was going on. Glancing between the other four people assembled, she rolled her shoulders in slight discomfort. Something seemed to be going on between Teal and the Being division head. With a flourish of her wand, she cast impervious on herself and then waited for further instructions.

There was a loud crack and the tall figure of Samson Vane appeared between the other workers of level four.
He was wearing a black travelling cloak over dark blue robes.
He flinched as he appeared in the rain; at home in London the weather had been quite good. He quickly raised his wand to his glasses and murmured "Impervius".
Then he put his wand against his robes and murmered another little spell. Suddenly his clothes became warmer. This felt much more comfortable and he had to be in top form for this mission.
He looked around at the others when he had finished with his spellwork and greeted them politely.
"Hey there!"

Violet turned as someone new arrived. She smiled a greeting at Samson, still too cold to speak clearly. She hugged herself in an attempt to keep warm. Why hadn't she cast the spell as soon as she arrived? Stupid, stupid.

A sonic crack signaled the arrival of Alex. Within moments he was completely soaked. "Just great; a storm." Alex said grumpily. "Lumos!" His wand tip flared, adding to the light Rowan's cast in the dim false-night created by the storm. "Hello." he said, with a polite nod to the gathered company. "Perfect weather, isn't it?" he added sarcastically. Alex made a mental note to keep himself in check today; his sarcasm would only get worse as this weather persisted. He did a quick head count. Seven wizards were already here, including him, and many looked pretty upset with the weather, too. Alex performed a few spells to keep himself warm.

Kass stood there in the rain as more people appeared to their job. Perfect weather, isn't it? She turned her head as everyone was taking about how horrible the rain was. It was bad, but it could have always been worse.

"Just lovely, Going to have beautiful flowers come may." She said equally sarcastically.

“No worries.” Teal chattered, as Violet apparated to the scene. A bolt of lightning came down and everyone’s dark faces became illuminated for a split second. No one seemed too happy.

“Nows not the time George.” Dark blue eyes didn’t look happy either. “No, actually, I just expect my employee’s to be on time.” Violet WAS a division head, and the fact that she wasn’t EARLY was a bit surprising. But she was on time, and that was just fine.

Just as Teal opened his mouth to say something else to Georgia before Violet told them to basically put a lid on it. It felt weird to hear such a (usually) gentle soul to say that. But Teal agreed, they were about to be in a dangerous situation, he didn’t have the TIME or ENERGY to babble with George today. Nope. So in response, Teal simply nodded.

Teal took a few steps in front of everyone, silently casting the impervious charm upon himself as well. It didn’t really do much, but at least it didn’t feel like he was being pelted with stones at the rate the rain drops were coming. Time for an announcement.

“OK EVERYONE. WE ARE GOING TO WAIT TEN MORE MINUTES FOR EVERYONE ELSE BEFORE HEADING IN. IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY, BUT THE IMPERVIOUS CHARM TO USE RIGHT NOW.” He was yelling at the top of his lungs, and at that rate he was STILL probably difficult to understand.

Violet's violet eyes stared out from underneath the hem of her cloak. A few more people seemed to have come, but where was everyone else? "I already tried the Impervius Charm," Violet mumbled to herself," and it didn't really work out. I'll deal with the cold." Funny how something like a little rain could spoil her mood so fast. It suddenly occurred to her that she could probably use it nonverbally. Something she should have thought of straight away. Violet really needed to get her head in the game. She pulled her wand out again and performed the spell nonverbally. She was still cold and wet, but not getting any wetter. A good sign! this cheered her up, slightly.

With a sharp crack, Iridesca arrived just outside of the group of wizards that had already arrived. She was very excited to get to meet everyone since she was still the newbie in the division and this was her first in the field experience with the Ministry.

Her excitement soon faded when it hit her that she was soaking wet and it was freezing. Iridesca lit her wand and used Impervious to help repel the cold and rain.

She looked around once again feeling the excitement rise. "Howzit everyone! I'm Iridesca. Great to meet you all. So where do we go from here?" Iridesca put her best smile on and slowly introduced herself to everyone. She was ready for action!

Alex performed the Impervious spell quickly; he'd forgotten it. Now he seemed to repel the rain that cascaded down in buckets. "Alex Griffin" he said, offering a hand to Irisdesca. He looked at her, wishing he could feel as excited.

Iridesca shook Alex's hand and turned to look a the group of wizards, who seemed to be becoming more depressed with the weather the longer they stood there.

"So what's the plan from here? Who are we waiting on?" She said with a smile trying to encourage the mood of everyone else.

Violet looked up at Iridesca. "The rest of the Beast Division," she said. "If they don't show up though we might have to go on without them." She looked up at the sky as the rain increased even more and the thunder rumbled across the sky like a thousand dump trucks.

Samson looked at the newcomer and greeted by nodding toward her.
He walked up and down impatiently, he didn`t wanto to wait anymore, he was redy for some action. If there was one thing he lacked, it was patience...

George rolled her eyes and sidled up right next to Teal. "Ever heard of the Sonorous Charm, Oh Fearless Leader?" she asked scathingly. It wasn't quite the same as fighting in front of the children, so she could still do it. The only good reason she had to be here was to fight with Teal, or to try and get him to fight with her. She hadn't yet gotten him to lose his temper, and while she was sure it wouldn't happen on a mission, she would bring him one step closer. And she did want to see that reaction.

George really had a strange way of entertaining herself.

Teal eyed George malevolently, he really wanted to argue back for once. HE REALLY DID. But there were more pressing matters, and he made himself remember that. “Sonorus.” Teal muttered, eying George piercingly as he did so. Looking up to the dark clouds for a brief moment, he began to speak.

“Ok everyone.” His voice echoed throughout the area. “We don’t have the time to wait on everyone else. So we are heading in, now. Stay close, the tree’s are going to get thicker the farther we move in and in time we’ll probably have to split up. If you can’t send a messenger patronus you need to stick with someone who can.” He attemped to wipe his soaking face. He failed.

“Alright then, follow my lead.” Teal cut the charm off and headed into the dark forest. He rabidly evaded tree’s and weeds but every few steps he could feel a different part of his robes tear. This was going to be a long day.

Violet ducked her head automatically, in spite of the Impervius Charm, and followed Teal through the trees. She still wasn't sure where exactly they were going. As she thought to herself as she dodged a tree, she supposed wherever the centaurs were was where they were going to meet. She hoped they happened to be in a place with more light than right here.

Iridesca followed in the middle of the group of wizards. She ducked and dodged and hoped she didn't trip and fall flat on her face in front of all of these strangers. The butterflies in her stomach were whizzing faster as they came closer to the center of the forest. She hoped wherever they were heading was not as dense; but at the same time would be out of the rain and gloomy atmosphere. Her charm was keeping her from getting more wet from the rain, but it was still annoying her to no end. Plus, she didn't liked the cramped feeling of being this close to strangers and the trees and brush.

Iridesca whipped her head around suddenly looking behind her. She thought she heard something very big following behind the group, but she couldn't see anything. And the rain, brush, and trees were definitely blocking the view of the path behind them. Hopefully it was just her mind playing tricks on her, but she wasn't usually wrong about these type of things.

She turned around thinking it was only her imagination and followed along with her wand at the ready and her senses extra keen in case something decided to surprise the group.
