Yusuke walked into the Brain Room, looking around curiously. He had been placed to work in this room, but he felt a tad uneasy. He walked toward the tank and peered inside.

"Nyaa..." he said, watching the brains swim around.

"This should be plesant," he said softly. heading toward the desks.

Currently 3 had been set up for people to sit at. He wondered who else would be in this room... he hadn't paid much attention to the dossier.

Doyle hurried into the room he'd been supervisor of for the past six months or so. He looked around and found a new person had been assigned to the room. He ignored them for the time being to check his memos and then walked over. "Doyle Branxton," he introduced himself and held out his hand.

This was Ricki's last stop on his patrol route and he didn't want to linger long. The Department of Mysteries always gave him the creeps. Entering the brain room with his keys still jingling in the same annoying manner they always did Ricki was quick to scan the room.

Once sure that everything was no more creepy than usual he nodded to the people in the room and made his way for the door as quickly as he could without spirinting out.

Yusuke watched as the security man wandered in, looked around, and left like he had seen a ghost. The room wasn't exactly inviting, so he could understand why the man had been scared to come in.

He then turned to the other man in the room. He smiled, bowing his head politely before sitting on the edge of one of the large desks.

"Yusuke Inagaki," he said, shaking the man's hand. "I take it your the head guy in here?"

He glanced toward the brains... 'head guy'... yeah, he didn't think it was funny either.

"Yes, I am the division head for the Brain Room," Doyle responded. "And we have a little problem. We can wait a little longer for our colleagues to show up but, not too much longer."

Yusuke looked around. No one else had arrived yet.

"Well, I was with another fellow, Trism, in the Accidents Breakroom... I think I recall him being in this division," he said, relaxing a bit on his desk.

Trism made his way into the room carrying his lunch bag. He paused looking at the brains, the way they were sloshing around in the bin, scratched his nose wit his thumb and then walked over and made himself comfortable at his desk. A small picture of three fellows, one of which was caught in a head lock, sat on his desk. Two of the men smiled and waved up at him. The boy in the headlock looked like he wanted to spit on his brother’s foot. Trism chuckled a little remembering the day his mom took that of him and his brothers. He shifted through the notes on his desk then realized Yusuke and Mr. Branxton were staring at the back of his head.

He turned around his chair, looking up at them. “What? Do I have snoodle-doodles in my teeth or something?” He made a weird face, showing his teeth and then rubbed at them with a finger. Mr. Branxton didn’t look amused.

Yusuke started to chuckle, but caught himself. He suppressed his laughter and gave Trism a wink to show him he thought it was funny.

"So, Trism's here now. I guess we're waiting on one more? Though I don't know... I think I remember seeing her name on the roster," he said with a slight shudder.

The woman he spoke of was the one who had yelled at him and Ivan. The man-hater in essence. But he smiled to himself, knowing that now she had to work with 3 men. This would be interesting.

Shannon silently strolled into the Brain Room, taking some quick glances at some slowly sploshing brains within the emerald green potion as she passed them by. Fixing her small white tie, she moved over to the desks to find not one, not two but THREE men.

This can't be happening! Please, tell me you're joking. pppllleeeaaasssseee!!!

But it was true. And that rather loud and idiotic man who had the cookies was working here. With her. In the same building, she could stand. In the same department, edge of sanity. But the same place in the same department in the same building? She was unsure is she could handle that. She had to be calm and cool about this. Remember what Rave said, conjure up earplugs if that man started talking.

She eyed another man she did not know(Branxton) and decided not to speak for the time being. She took a seat at her desk and took another glance at the man she had not met yet, she was sure she reackonised him. Daily Prophet article maybe? Or a meet on the street. She was so curious about this other man that she couldn't take her eyes off of him. No. If she knew him, she'd remember.

Yusuke smirked as Shannon walked in. She had a look of utter terror on her face that soon melted to complete anger. He folded his arms across his chest and smiled toward her as she seemed to be in thought.

"Heylo there," he said to her.

Shannon's eyes snapped to focus on who had spoken, Yusuke. She wondered if she should levitate one of those brains from the liquid and throw it at him. See how much smirking he'd do then. But that would be unprofessional and down right wrong so she just sat upright and pressed her fingertips together as she peered at him. "Good day." she said rather snobbishly, not really wishing to speak to anyone at all but left with no choice. Please let there be ONE more and let it be a woman! Please!

Yusuke smiled happily and then turned back to Branxton. She was going to be fun to torture, and all he had to do was breathe! He tried to keep his giggling to himself as he sat on his desk.

Once everyone was in the room, Doyle started in on the staff meeting. He started off by cleaning his glasses (of course). "Good morning. I'm the division head for the Brain Room, Professor Doyle Branxton. I have duties at Hogwarts as well as here so, you will be working unsupervised some of the time. We can correspond via owl should any other problems crop up but, you all seem quite capable.

"Now, we've run into a bit of a problem. We are running precarious low on brains and our supply seems to have dried up due to a recent petition by the Society of Cannibalistic Views. More witches and wizards are opting to have their brains eaten by family members rather than donating them to our research."

Doyle paused to the let the significance of this attrocity sink in before continuing. "Therefore, I am doing to have to speak with those working in the Death Chamber to see if they have any spares and in the meantime, you will need to come up with a list of the top five witches and wizards whose brains we would like to add to our reserve list."

"They'd rather eat there brains? Really?! Fascinating. I hear they're quite discugsting tasting. Nothing like monkey brains...but then, I'm sure they don't chill them before they eat them like they do in South America." Trism picked up a parchment scroll and a purple quill and started scribbling down names, for every three he put down, he scratched out two. Then, eventually he scratched them all off. It was going be a long hard process. "Um! Question! Are we still only collecting human brains?"

Yusuke contained his laughter again at the thought of a family mourning their relative and then eating the person's brain. Though, it was excpeted from cannibals and he knew it was probably sacred.

He sat down behind his desk, quill in hand and parchment out. He dipped the quill into the blue ink and thought... Who would be good to have in the tank?

"Hmm... This is tough," he said apropo to Trism's comment. "And I'd like to think they're human brains. At least I hope. At least we don't have to go collect 'em ourselves! ...Yet?" he added.

"Though I think if we work on this list as a group, we can get more done," he said, putting his quill down.

Rhiannon made her way down to the Brain Room but, when she saw Branxton addressing his employees, she politely waited just inside the door. She was dressed all in black from head to toe, a habit she picked up from being an Auror for 2 years. Standing at ease with her hands clasped behind her back, she patiently waited for him to finish his briefing.

Yusuke looked up from his desk. He saw a woman in all black, waiting at the back of the room. He looked up to Branxton and tried to catch his attention.

"Uh, sir?" he said, looking back toward the woman.

Rhiannon raised a delicate brow at one of employees being briefed noticed her entrance and turned around. She quite wished he had not done that, she did not want to interrupt the briefing. Looking at Branxton, she waited to see if he noticed her. If he had, she hoped the look on her face told him that she was more than willing to wait until he was finished.

"Yes, human, wizard or witch brains," Doyle confirmed and then noticed someone waiting in the doorway. "I'll leave you to it, excuse me."

After excusing himself, he walked over to the woman. "Can I help you?"

Yusuke nodded to his boss and turned in his chair to face his coworkers.

"So! Anyone have any ideas?" he asked, knowing in the back of his mind the one brain everyone would want... well he thought so anyway.

Rhiannon gave the man a pleasant smile as she held out her hand," Actually, I believe I am here to help you. Rhiannon Knight, Death Chamber Division Head." Shaking the man's hand firmly, Rhiannon went on to say in her usual serious tone,"Elijah has informed me that your department is currently low on brains?"

"Ah, yes, of course," Doyle smiled. Sometimes the Department of Mysteries was a bit too secretive and you ended up not even knowing who your colleagues were. "We are running low on brains so, of course our research is threatened. You wouldn't happen to have any you could make available to us, would you?"

"Drat, I've always wanted to study the schema's and cognitive reflexes in the occipital lobe of a Centaur..." He tossed his pen on the desk in a bit of a fit. Centaurs are fascinating. We're so narrow minded here. Ha - narrow minded... He chuckled at his pun. No wonder we're low on brains. He spun his chair to face Yusuke who was sitting across from him. "Well, I've always wanted to get my hands on Maximus Orion Vindictus' brain..."

"Hmmm, yes he seems like a good candidate..." he said, scribbling the name down.

"Though we should try for someone big too," he said, crossing one leg over the other. "Someone who's done a lot..."

He gripped the edges of his armrests.

"We need Albus Dumbledore's brain," he said, closing his eyes.

He had hoped he hadn't crossed a line, but he really wanted that great man's brain. It couldn't just waste away in a hole in the ground.
