Waiting patiently for others to join them, Brian's eyes noticed the new entry. By the way she was moving and talking to them, he sensed that she was new to the ministry and bit nervous. Extending his hand to shake hers, Brian gave her a warm smile, "Hello, Daria. I'm glad you're just in time." he nodded his head and waited untill the mutual introductions between his staffs to end. "Well..back to work," turning his gaze to Numble, who was waiting for his answer for long time. "Minister's security is my responsibility, Numble. She's important than anything else" his voice was soft as usual yet firm. "So.." he looked over to Chris, "Can you put the plan on the notice board here, so that everyone could get atleast a rough idea of what we're planned so far?" "Speaking of plans, do you have prior experience, Ms. Daria?" he didn't know her datas. He would go through her profile when he get free time. |

"I believe Mr Lee's plan is better because there are more entrances then i thought there would be. I have listed my ideas in my plan. So i will modify my plan to make it better in line with his. What all of you think of the plan." |

Watching Chris had pinned the plan on the board and explaining the plan briefly, Brian nodded his head. "No matter whose plan it is, as long as it is perfect and flawless, the offer is still open. Anyone can come up with their own plans. I'm all ears.." he said and pointed his wand at the stadium plan, which made the marking spots started moving as tiny footseps and the stadium looked like a miniature model. "Okay, I'm starting with basics. As we all know Mr. Numble is responsible for escorting foreign ministers and players" he turned his gaze to him, "You have a working plan of that, are not you NUmble?" with a small smile, his eyes returned to focuss on others, "And Mr. Chris Hobgartner is in charge of in and out of the stadium.." he pointed out the marked area on the plan. |

After having accepted all greetings, Daria paused to answer Mr. Lee's inquiry. "I have some experience sir," Daria replied, "just not exactly of this precise nature. I have trained the last 3 years to be an Auror, but had to take a leave of absence due to family concerns." Having answered the question, Daria listened closely as Security plans for the Quidditch Cup were discussed in more detail. "Excuse me sir..." Daria spoke-up tentatively, "but what security enforcement has been placed in the air, above the pitch?" Daria was embarassed to have questions about the plans so early in her employment, but questions had to be asked if they were to keep the public safe. |
"I'm glad, Chris. And I'll sort out who are going to work under your wing.." he said and listened Daria as she was explaining her work experience and finished up with a question. He was glad that the girl was stepped into the job right straightaway. Appreciable. Feeling happy about that, Brian looked at her, "I've my own ideas, but let me know what do you think how to protect the air space?" he gave her first assignment, hoping that she would come up with some good ideas. |

First, they would need 8 people on brooms patrolling the exterior of the stadium in a constant circular motion. These people would be of little consequence to the quidditch game as it played. Second, they would need an inner circle of 4-6 people to patrol in a circular motion. These people would need to fly higher in the sky and would be at a severe disadvantage, due to the Quidditch players flying below. They would need to stay out of the area of play. Writing her intentions on a special report form and adding a diagram, Daria returned to where she saw Mr. Lee standing. "Sir... if you have the time, I'd like to discuss air security with you?" Daria then proceeded to hand Mr. Lee her diagram and instructions. Quote:

Chris listened closely to what Daria had to say. She appeared to have very good ideas. He continued to sit at the desk wondering often if anyone wanted a quick snack why this discussion was going on. He knew that Daris would likely be a good employee. |

Brian patiently waiting for both Daria and Numble to work out on their plans. They needed time to make it safe in every possible way. Still rubbing on the back of his neck by his free hand, Brian's mind pressing the tabs on the meeting issue with Minister. It should be sorted out soon, since some decision were relying on the basis of her words. Daria's words cut his chain of thoughts. "Yes, We're discussing about this right now. So carry on.." he enouraged her and looking down at her quick plan. "Well..plan looks good, and we can reduce the numbers though.." he said, still hiding his overall plan and letting everyone speak and conveying their ideas and plans. "How about make this more simplify, like using spells and charms?" he asked and turning his gaze to Numble now. "You're right, but the informations are not yet confirmed. So it leaves us to work on assumptions.." a chuckled escaped from his mouth and nodded. "Again the numbers are negotiable, Numble" his eyes focussing on his plan again. "As I told already, Minister's my responsibility. You have already your handful.." he smiled gently. |

If it was the simple matter of man-power, Daria figured she could down-size from twelve officers to just two. It would just be a simple matter of performing a Fedelius spell over the stadium once everyone had entered it and been checked through Security. Mr. Lee, or another higher up, could be the secret-keeper, and all those within the Quidditch Stadium would be kept safe. The two airbourne officers would just be their to notify the proper authorities should an air attack occur. Satisfied with her new ideas, Daria once again approached her boss. Quote:

Stepping back to her desk once again, Daria flicked her wand, and the changes were instantly made: Daria sat back and looked at her completed assignment. She was finally satisfied with the results. Placing final report carefully on Mr. Lee's desk, Daria prepared to leave for the day. It had been a long first day, but Daria was pleased just the same! |
"It's okay, Numble" he leaned forward on his seat, "Portkeys are safe to get them to the ground, and stick with this idea. We have to make this strict and should convey to them" he and whole ministry was not ready to leave loopholes in any of their plans. He knew this was going tobe a fantastic event. No matter how hard they were working to make it real. Turning his attention to Daria, "It's perfect now." he nodded, "Put this on the notice board here." He took a second glance at both the plans and smiled satisfiedly. |

Chris entered the headquarters offices area for all the security staff. The last time he had been here it had been to discuss the world cup. Now he simply wanted the other security staff to come in so he could tell them some news about something that Mr. Lee had planned after the successful world cup. When ever his division head Mr. Greenleaf was finished with the other preparations for this party he wondered if he would come in here as well and maybe he could also tell them some more. Sitting down at his desk he waited for the other staff to come in. He also had some parchments in his hand to write notes. |
Brian walked inside the Security HQ with a job and a fun announcement in his hands. "Hello, everyone!" he addressed them with a smile, was impatient to tell the party news to them. |
