Cassie noticed how close they were dancing and that alone put a true smile on her face. "I'll be fine, just have to talk to my sister later, that's all." She said softly.

OoC: I've missed so much! Okay....

"I have tried straight, but it get's boring after a while, even if this doesn't last it's fun while it lasts. Your sister writes book? I'll have to check her out some time. Not that I have heaps of time reading these days, it's mostly fact files and paperwork" She said, sighing.
"Yeah, I'll have to owl her. See how she is." Alexa didn't let it worry her, Marra was more than capable of looking after herself.

"No, no certainly not. Egypt was telling me about her sisters. I must meet them one day." She smiled hoping Egypt was feeling more comfortable than she had been at the Breakroom the other day.
Alexa listened as Nathan retold his fascination with the dance floor.
"I would consult with Egypt before putting in ANYTHING purple into your wedding" She winked at Egypt.

"Hello Lola" Alexa introduced herself. Smiling she shuffled across so she could sit down on the small table. It was getting quite crowded now, with Warren, Nathan, Egypt, Alexa and Lola.

Warren looked into Alexa's eyes and Alexa just melted. Not only that but he was holding her hand and she was having trouble breathing.
She laughed to try and calm herself and clapped as the couple came into the hall.
She took his drink and tasted it.
"Pumpkin Juice? Yeah, maybe with a shot of firewhiskey is more likely" She said with a smirk.

Alexa looked at Lola, she was pretty sure now at closer inspection she knew her from somewhere.
"Did your parents work at the ministry? You look quite familiar, at least I think you do" Alexa pursued her lips, trying to place the woman.
"I don't know the minister or his wife personally. But my parents say he's jovial if at least fair. They've known each other a long time apparently" This sentence echoed in her mind, but she shook it away and laughed at Lola.
"Together? You'll have to ask Warren." She laughed, placing the pressure firmly on him.

"Landscapes are good!" Anita replied.

"I do actually have a couple of drawings," she replied as she pulled out a couple of pencil drawings from her bag.

"Here you are," she said as she showed Dora a drawing of a horse and a drawing of a robin.

Anita noticed Dora looked tired.

"Tired?" she asked.

Star laughed, "Less annoying, good one."

Just then Star's cell phone vibrated. "Ohhh! That scared me. My cell phone just vibrated. I thought I turned the ringer completely off. I guess I didn't." Star stated as she looked to see who had text messaged her. It was from her granddaughter, Jenesis.

"My granddaughter, Jeni just sent me text message."

Gramma, I thought you sent me to Hogwarts. Why am I at Belle's School of Magic for Young Witches. It really Stinks here and I don't mean the smell.

"Well, that's odd." Stay said outloud as she read the text message. "Jeni just told me that she is not at Hogwarts, but at Belle's School of Magic for Young Witches. What happening at Hogwarts?" She asked to the rest of the table.

Edie looked at Star, a concerned, confused look on her face. "No Hogwarts? That's not right. What is this world coming to?" she scrunched up her nose while she was thinking. "'Belle's' did you say? Horrid coincidence maybe that the new Lady Cooper's maiden name is Belle? Where are the boys? Cooper's?" she laughed. She definately was going loopy. This Firewhiskey was going to her head. She hadn't even finished the glass. surely she had heard Star wrong. "You're granddaughter's there did you say? My cousin's daughter is there to. What year is she in?"

"Jeni is a first year Gryffindor. I am going to have to Owl her parents and see if they have been told anything. I am Jeni's gardian here in England, so why didn't the school contact me?"

"Alycya is a second year Gryffie. I wonder why my cousin didn't contact me. Or even Alycya. Interesting. I'll have to call Beth later." Edie looked at Start. She looked really concerned. "I'm pretty sure they just split up the girls and boys. Well that's what it sounds like. But even still. They should have contacted the guardians and parents to advise of the changes." she said, hoping it ease Star slightly.

"I would have hoped so. If they kept this from us, what else are they not telling us!"

Edie thought about this for a moment. She nodded. "I think I'm going to get in contact with Beth very soon. Find out how Aly is." Now she really thought about it this was actually a really bad situation they were in. Closing Hogwarts. Seriously.

"And I need to owl my son and ask him what we should do about Jeni. I hope Jeni does not lose her temper while she is there."

Edith was thinking about Alycya. Alycya's temper could be extremely bad. She just lost it every now and again. She had only known her a couple of months but she was a really ticking time bomb. "Yeah, same with Alycya. She's a time bomb that girl."

Star laughed at that. "Luckily, Jeni has a warning signal. Her green eyes turn golden when she is upset or angry. So we can normally help her calm down. All of her accidental magic outbursts only happen when she like that. I hope she told her new friends about this so that they can calm her if needed."

"Well that's good then. Alycya doesn't have a warning sign like that. She just blows her top." Edie laughed, heartily.

She wondered out loud. Classical music was not something you danced to for the first time with your new husband.

He smiled as she pulled away; enjoying the kisses she gave him and returning them with pleasure. Really, you would think that after being together almost a year, and with the birth of Paris, Nathan and Egypt would be over this need to be with each other constantly. It seemed so stupid that he had been jealous of his own daughter during the first few weeks after her birth. He just wasn’t used to not being the centre of Egypt’s universe – but things were good again, better than ever in fact.

He made a disappointed face and took a sip of his wine as Egypt called the dance floor ‘god awful’, and decided that even asking if they could have something similar at their wedding would be a waste of oxygen so he didn’t bother... but he did have a couple of other ideas to run by Egypt, not involving purple. “This wedding has got me thinking.” He started. “Maybe kilts aren’t the way to go for our wedding... What do you think of about having a 70s theme instead?” He asked in a tone as if he was asking about the weather or something rather mundane... not a wedding. “And... er... karaoke in the evening?” He sipped at his drink waiting for her answer. He really wanted a purple dance floor with a massive disco ball in the middle ...but that was never going to happen.

“Oh, Egypt’s sisters are a fantastic bunch.” He smiled and looked at Egypt. Once he had relaxed in their presence and started to be himself around them, he found he got on with nearly all of them like a house of fire. “Well, I’m sure you’ll get to meet them at our wedding.” He commented. “Which, incidentally, you’re all invited to by the way.” He said looking at Lola, Warren and Alexa.

Warren smirked as she tasted his drink. "More Pumpkin Juice than firewhiskey though," he said with a smile.

Warren shot Alexa a glance. She knew him all too well and knew that he would be uncomfortable. Placing his arm around Alexa, he gave her a squeeze. "Yes, we are together," he said confidently and surprisingly without the slightest hesitation. He looked at Alexa and smirked, "Again." He leaned over and whispered in her ear, "And always." He picked up his 'Pumpkin Juice' and took a gulp of it, trying to hide his grin.

Warren smiled at Nathan, "I'm great." He said as he gripped Alexa's hand. Now.

Warren laughed, "Well, as Alexa has just pointed out so kindly, it's not EXACTLY pumpkin juice." He winked at Nathan and took a sip of his drink. "After all, I think you're right. We do deserve a break."

Warren smiled, "That's great! We'll be there." He said including Alexa in his statement.

Clarissa chuckled at Jake's words. "Well, at least it's over, or partially that is. And there has been no trouble...really, so I suppose we should just enjoy ourselves and wish the couple a happy future, hmm?"

She laughed lightly again, rather amused at the disappointment in Jake's voice. "Actually no, you're more than welcome to whisk me off somewhere. I promise I won't tell my boss." She replied with a playful wink. "Believe me, you're not twisting anything, I would certainly love the chance to have a bit of fun, especially with someone as charming and handsome as yourself."

Clarissa smiled once more. That was right...she hadn't told him her name. "Well...Jake. My name is Clarissa, Clarissa Harel." She finally said.

She looked at him as he ran his ideas for the wedding by him. She wasn't sure if he was being serious right now or pulling her leg. She didn't know. "Is that what you want Nathan?" She asked him. She didn't want him to think this was all her wedding and that he didn't have a say in the arrangements. "If thats what you want." She said finally, she guessed it would ok. She just wanted to be his wife, she didn't give a bully how it happened.

She smiled at Nathan mentioning her sisters. "Yes we Riddle girls are a lively bunch." She told them with a giggle. Nathan did get along with her sisters better than she thought they would. "Everyone is invited the more the merrier." She said brightly, she wanted to make friends at the Ministry and what better way to do that than inviting everyone to come out and have some fun at a wedding.

"Thank you!" Hayley thanked Edie for the drink and started drinking her drink. "The purple isn't so bad now."
Realising she hadn't introduced herself to the other woman yet, she introduced herself.
"Hi, I'm Hayley Ice. It's very nice to meet you."

"Is Hogwarts in trouble? Because I haven't heard from my sister in awhile and normally she sends an owl every day or every other day."

"I should probably try and contact my parents about Ellen. I hope everything is okay." Hayley said as she finished her drink.

After watching James and Cassie,Miley walked back over to Jacob."Do you dance?"

Nathan raised his shot of firewhiskey, which had been sitting giving him the eye for a while now, in a toast. “Chin chin.” He grinned at Warren. “To the happy couple.” And downed his drink. He didn’t specify to which couple he was referring to.

He grinned at Egypt and raised his eyebrows. “Would you really let me?” he chuckled lightly. Egypt, bless her, she was far too giving sometimes. As much as a 70s themed wedding appealed to the young man, he didn’t want their special day to be taken as a joke. Purple had got enough snide coments from the Ministry staff – what would they say if the dress code was flares and tye dye? Besides, with only a month to go, it was no good changing things at this stage. And he was keen on the idea of wearing a kilt.

And then she actually agreed to it! He almost choked on the wine he'd gone back to. “It’s ok, love. I’m just pulling your leg.” He replied giving her another squeeze for good measure. He could just imagine Egypt’s mother’s face and this made him laugh harder.

“We promise to have no classical music or purple at our reception.” He said to the others ...despite his internal purple dance floor fixation. “It’ll be a right good old knees up at ours, right love?” he said to Egypt with a wink.

"Work? Nathan we stood at a counter and ticked name off. You can hardly call that work" Alexa said with a laugh.
"Lovely. Just steer clear of any um..purple. Did you hear about the recent decree? The education one? Probably not, it was all pretty hush hush"

Alexa was supirised and also happy when he said they were together. She leaned it and said:"About time too" Smiling she returned to the convedrsation.
"Yes, definetely I'm sure it'll be a thousand times more interesting than this one."

"Well I'm guessing you take after each other" Alexa replied with a grin.

"Cheers" Alexa said happily. It was turning out to be a good night.
"To the happy couple" Alexa said a little curiously. And to which couple may he be reffering to?

"It's the Education Decree Number who knows. But they've made numerous changes to our lovely school. Apparently Ravenclaw Commonroom is now a shrine to Ms.Cooper and they've split the school into two. Belle's and Cooper's according to gender." Alexa took a sip of wine.

"My neice was saying that Gryffindor and Hufflepuff have had their knives, goblets and pride taken away. Hufflepuff is now black and purple" She said gesturing to the numerous purple implements in the room.
"And many other things but....honestly what has the world come to?"

She looked at him. Didn't he know that she would eat red hot coals for him if he asked her to. She got up and went and sat in his lap hooking her arms around his neck. She grabbed his tie and slowly inched him closer and closer to her, all the while locking eyes with him. "Nathan," She whispered when their noses were touching. "I would walk into hell and slap the devil across the face if it got you to that alter." She closed the gap between the mouths in a instant. She couldn't get enough of her man.

She tried to not let the relief show on her face when he said he was just playing. Oh thank Merlin, she would have died if he was serious. She would have went along with it anyways. "Our reception will be a nice party." She planned on doing a lot of booty shaking too. Ghanaian wedding receptions were boisterous and jovial and there were always lots of dancing "You lot better bring you dancing shoes."

She saw all the other couples out on the dance floor. "Would Lord Greenwood care for a dance?" She asked.

“Esteemed company?” he raised his eyebrows. “I really don’t know who you’re referring to, love.” He joked. ...But he had been out there for what seemed like a lifetime on his own.

“What?” he said unable to quite believe what he was hearing. “Oh dear, oh dear.” He shook his head and chuckled. “My little sister’s just going to love that.” Emily really wasn’t very good a coping with change. “The Ministry have taken over you say?” This was all very odd... but it could be a good thing. The stories he had heard of late about the school were shocking to say the least. “So that’s why they want to keep the headmistress away from this wedding.” It was now all falling into place in Nathan's tiny mind.

Nathan was slightly taken aback when Egypt plonked herself on his lap. So much for being subtle while he was on duty... not that he cared now. He wrapped his arms around her. He held her gaze as she pulled him close, his eyes flickering to her lips as she pulled him closer, and back to her eyes again as their noses touched. This was not the place for this, but he couldn’t draw away. Egypt had too much of a hold over him. He closed his eyes and returned the kiss with equal gusto.

He was slightly disappointed when she pulled away and started conversing with the others around the table. He and Egypt were being very antisocial... and probably putting people off their food, but Nathan didn’t particularly care right now.

“I wondered when you were going to ask.” He stood up and put his arm out so Egypt could link with him, “Me Lady.” He said and they headed towards That Purple Dance Floor arm in arm.
