As you enter the reception area after the ceremony, the first thing you notice is the explosion of purple everywhere in the room. The white chairs are wrapped with sheer purple material and the tablecloths on each seating area are purple too. The flower arrangements around the room are ornately filled with purple and white flowers, while those on the table are simple but elegant.

The bride and groom are seated at a rectangular table in the front of the room, in clear view of all guests. The immensely beautiful lilac colored cake rests upon the table of the bride and groom for all to admire.

A large purple dance floor has been laid in the center of the room, on the corner of which an elegant string quartet is playing classical music. Feel free to get up and dance whenever the music moves you!

Food shall be delivered to each table at various points throughout the night, so be sure to keep an eye out for the waitstaff. They're here to serve you, so feel free to make requests!

She bit her lip - He noticed that, thanks to his new want to see every bit of her reactions- but then she gave him that smile- that smile that slighty tored into his chest, had him have a jolt in stomach, a melty feeling right in his gut- and he wanted nothing more but to hold her and dance with her for a bit longer.

So maybe- she should Just sollow in that want and follow her- because she had to have food- that seemed like a good thing. The right thing. But then, the song started -

Which couldn't have been more Perfect. He glancd at her once again- He had to.- she looked so good. How could he resist.

He bit his lower lip then, hoping she would agree. After all this was going all pretty well. "Just thiss one song, then?" He asked slmost too softly.

He wouldn't min, ofcourse, if she said Noand wanted to eat but there bit that dread feeling inside him.He really couldn't deny that.

Edie sat at the table, sipping her Firewhiskey, and looking at all the couples on the dancefloor. She sighed heavily. She was so sick of being single. She downed the rest of her glass and got up at get another one. She walked back to the table and sat down again. She crossed her legs elegantly one over the other and smoothed her dress over them. She took a sip of her Firewhiskey and sighed again. "I hate being single," she mumbled to herself. Well she technically wasn't single. Her mother had set up an arranged marriage for her and some guy that just happened to be some Slytherin and should be in a cell with her father. She wasn't going to marry him. If only she could find someone before it was finalised.

Might as well do something to keep your mind off the celebration, she thought, as she began to make her way towards the other woman, purposefully keeping her eyes averted from the dancing couples.

Upon reaching the table, she smiled. 'Mind if I join you?' she asked the woman, adjusting her hold on her handbag.

Sasha moved through the crowd quickly all smiles as she reached the woman who was having trouble standing on her two feet. The night has only just begun and the woman is already sloshed Sasha thought. "Perhaps a cup of coffee and a chair would be better" she said quietly so that no one else would here. "Wouldn't want you to ruin that pretty purple dress of yours now would we."

Stanley had grabbed the first tray he had come across at the Catering station; luckily it was one that wouldnt tempt him at all considering his avoidence of all things starchy and wheat-based.
He examined it curiously; Club sandwiches...club sandwiches that looked as decadant as possible considering it was just a bunch of bread with little bits of something between each layer. They smelt fantastic; which puzzled Stanley as he had never thought of sandwiches, club sized or otherwise, as being something that had a smell.

He walked around sedately, with the tray held in front of him, stopping occassionally as one or another of the guests spotted him and took a club sandwich from the tray.

He was content to just amble around until someone called him over or the tray was empty; in which case he would probably grab something different.
Variety apparently being the spice of life and all.

She wanted to follow after him, but she thought better of it.She just went back to their table and sat down. Her gillywater was warm but she drank it anyways. She just needed something to distract herself, she hoped Nathan wasn't getting nervous or cold feet about the wedding. That would just kill her.

“I’m sure with your impeccable taste whatever you choose will be perfect.” He replied - confident smile fixed in place. His expression turned to a hint of confusion, however, when she asked if he was sure she could choose the first song. You would think he was pushy in this relationship or something – he liked to think he was pretty easy going most of the time, but some people just can’t see themselves the way others do... he often hoped he wasn’t one of those people... Oh crap -his confidence was starting to slip - the effect of potion was obviously wearing off. “Of course it’s alright.” He replied, accepting the kiss on the cheek, his brain trying to ignore the sudden appearance of that dreaded second left foot. “I think we have very different tastes; choosing something we both like may be near impossible.” Okaaay... Not such a good reply there, Nate. “But please, love, I really want you choose.” He added trying to claw his way out of the hole he was digging himself - at least he was being honest here.

He wrapped his arms around her as the music slowed. “Yes. I’ll play it for you, love.” He said gently. “But you’ll have to excuse me singing voice.” He chuckled lightly. He was sure Egypt must have heard him singing in the shower... but that was completely different to actually playing the piano and singing to someone.

He returned from the bathroom, with a new found swagger to his walk, exuding that confidence once again - he had taken a large amount of the luck potion this time to make sure it lasted the rest of the evening. Slightly disappointed to find Egypt sitting back at the table, he went over to join her. “Sorry about that, love.” He said with a charming smile. “When you gotta go, you gotta go.” He winked at her and gave her a one armed squeeze.

Nathan was famished after all that dancing. Dropping her hand, Susanna rolled her eyes. 'Are they competing for "most purple and black wedding of the year" or something?' she asked, looking down at her own black dress. More suitable for a funeral than a wedding, she thought.

She plucked absently at a stray thread on the belt. 'You said you worked in Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, didn't you? Which division?' she asked, curious. She'd never ventured to level three before, but she'd seen - albeit very briefly - most of the other departments.

Nathan was too busy watching the guests on the dance floor to even notice the waiter walk off. His eyes landed on a rather worse for wear Alexa. He chuckled to himself, spotting another waitress with... Oooh! ...canapés!

Stanley's knuckles went white where they were gripping the tray; as the girl bumped him, he fought an inward battle not to bop her on the head with it. Luckily realising she was flirting with him and not trying to engage him in some sort of hip battle, he refrained, noting that it would be a waste of club sandwiches.

She spoke and his brow furrowed deeply; wanting very much to ask her what move she wanted to bust and why the move need to be busted in the first place. He remained silent; opting to chew up the inside of his mouth instead, as he realised that she smelled almost as good as the sandwiches.

His eyes travelled to the dance floor; wondering if moves were being busted at that very moment and hoping that if they were; they were at least ministry approved.

I personally do not think this colour combination is suitable for such a happy occassion as a wedding, but hey, it's not my wedding." she said, scrunching up her nose slightly. "I'm the Liason for the Department. I speak to the Department and division heads and if anything needs to be taken to the MInister, I'm the one that does it. I actually have a desk on Level One, but so far I've only sat at it twice. What do you do with International Magical Cooperation?" Edie asked, sipping her Firewhiskey.

“Oh, don’t worry about it, love.” Nathan waved his hand dismissively. “I can see how busy you lot are.” He raised his eyebrows as she pointed out which canapés he should try. “Send my taste buds wild, huh?” He smirked up at the young woman. “With an offer like that, how could I possibly refuse?” He winked at her suggestively before reaching over and helping himself to a couple of the delicious looking finger foods.
