"What do you want? I'm having a Firewhiskey."

"A drink would be nice..... could you get me a Gillywater, please?" asked Gabriella.

"a Firewhisky for me as well. I really need a drink."
Hayley looked around the hall and wandered who of them worked at the ministry and who worked at the same department and division as her.

"Same here, but I have to find some time to take my dog out in the park at least in the evening. And I'm a terrible cook, so I prefer to eat at the cafeteria." Dora said.

"Have you got any pets?" she asked.

"I usually buy some take out on the way home," Anita said.

"I don't have any pets. What breed of dog do you have?" she said.

"Lady is a Rottweiler. I know these dogs have a pretty bad reputation, but in fact everything depends on how you raise them. My dog is as innocent as a lamb." Dora answered.

"I can show you a picture of her." Dora added, looking for an album in her purse. "Here" she said, pointing to the photo.
"And the other pictures are from the countries I have visited. Do you like travelling?"

Samantha poked a fork at her slice of birthday cake. "This isn't bad," she remarked to J.J. "Have you tried a piece yet? Hold on, let me finish this and I'll be ready to dance with you. Though I do wish they would liven this music up a bit." Samantha was looking forward to hearing some rock and roll, but this was all classical music. Apparently the couple really enjoyed the classics, which was fine, but some livier music might be better at a reception like this. Oh well, what did she know?

"Okay, that fair I guess!" Cambell said, sitting up straight in her seat. She looked around for the waitstaff, wondering if she could get a drink.
"Well, you know, you will be in the middle of all that mushy stuff when you decide to get married, if you do." Cambell said matter-of-factly. "You will play a big part in the mushiness!" She said laughing slightly.
She herself was extremely excited about one day getting married. Though she didnt want to rush anything and get married right away. There was time, and she was young.
"Hmmm... Out of all the weddings you've been to, which one was the weirdest?" Cambell asked, trying to make fun conversation.

"Exactly!" Anita said referring to Dora's point aobut raising dogs.

Anita smiled at the photo of Lady.

"I think she's a lovely looking dog. How long have you had her?" she said.

"I do like travelling whenever I can. I've got relatives in France and Germany so I like to see them during the Christmas holidays," Anita said.

"Since she was a puppy...That means-six years ago." Dora replied. "Thank you, she really is cute."she added with a small laughter.

"France is a very beautiful country. I have seen Paris, but I'd like to visit other cities in France as well. And one of my grandparents is German, so I've been there too." Dora said.

" I enjoy going to the seaside the most. Swimming is one of my favorite activities. How about you, what hobbies do you have?"

"That's so sweet and you're welcome," Anita said with a giggle.

"I've been to Nice, Marseilles and Paris. It is so cool that you have a German grandparents," she said.

"I love art. I like to draw and paint. My bedroom wall is painted in a pop art like manner," Anita replied.

Priscella, Jason Potter Weasley's owl came to J. J. Starr. He opens the leatter up and it says " Boys and girls seperated against will at HogWarts. Excuse me, it is called Coopers Scholl for boys and Belle's school for girls. Help us!!! Help with the "Revolution". Joe Jon Montcenaggio starts burning up after he read this nite from his good neighbor Jason Potter Weasley.
"Samantha I have to leave this wedding" J. J. Starr tells her. J. J. starr hates purebloods even though he is a pureblood himself. They are always lording over half-muggles ( Jason Pitter Weasley-cousin Harry Potter)) and muggles ( Jason's grandmother- Hernoine Weasley). " Now they are doing an injustice to the children at HogWarts.
" I will not be part of this wedding when they changed my school, Samantha" J. J. Starr told her. J.. J Starrr will help the "Revolution."
Good-bye and I feel sorry for you Samanta because Education is your thing and the Ministry ran roughshod over your part of the Ministry.

"I've always wanted to see Marseilles! Did you like it? How's it like?" Dora asked with interest.

" Well my heritage is complicated. My father's parents are Irish and German, my mother's parents are English and Romanian." the woman said. "What's your heritage?"

"I also love art. I like to draw but I don't have a special talent. I'd like to see how you painted your room." she added.

"Marseilles is great! It has gorgeous little villages and beautiful scenery," Anita said.

"My mother is from London and Dad is from Liverpool. My maternal grandmother is French and my maternal grandfather is German. My paternal grandparents are from Liverpool," she replied.

"What do like drawing? I like drawing horses and birds," Anita said.

"Purple is my favorite color, but this might be a little too much, I think. The ceremony was beautiful. The French Minister looked a little stressed."

Reagan entered the reception area and made her way to the front of the room. Tapping her wand to her throat and saying softly 'Sonorous,' Reagan announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce the newly wedded couple, the people we've all come here to see and support - Minister Brennan Cooper and his new wife, Ms. Clara Cooper!" Reagan began clapping to congratulate the couple, assuming the others would pick up on the notion and clap along with her. She glanced at the band and gave them a nod to begin playing appropriate music for their entrance into the hall.

Clara huffed. "She makes me sound like a tag-a-long. It was supposed to be 'Mr. and Mrs. Brennan Cooper'. She's a true little idiot sometimes, Brenny," Clara leaned her head over onto his shoulder. "Has to be told how to do everything. I don't know how you manage." Clara sighed. She was so happy. Not even incompetence could wipe the smile from her face. "Love you Brenny."

With that, the doors opened for them and they were on show for all to see.

Egypt looked over and saw Nathan. Her face lite up, but she suspected he was on duty still the way he was scanning the room. She refrained from waving him over. She just gave him a small smile. That's all he got? A small smile? Some greeting that was. But nevertheless, he was happy that Egypt was chatting away to Alexa. He looked away; deciding that now would be a good time to indulge in a firewhiskey ...or three, and went in search of the bar.

He returned with one in each hand, disgusted by the extortionate prices they were charging. After these, he would stick to the free wine from then on thank you very much.

“It is good." Nathan agreed. "Nice to meet some new people. But it would be even nicer if I didn’t have to work it.” His eyes wandered over to Egypt as he said this – He would have loved to have spent this day with her, without having to stress about anything going wrong here. He shrugged his shoulders. "But what can you do, eh?" He quickly sank one of his firewhiskeys before looking back at Richard. “Have you ever met the Minister or his wife before?” He asked taking a small sip of his other drink.

Warren spun around to reply but Alexa had already walked off. He followed her with his eyes as she walked back to the table with a small smile on his face. The bell of the ball.” He couldn’t resist kissing her again before moving away to speak to his colleagues.

“Have you heard anything from Forrester or Nicoli yet?” Nathan hadn’t seen either of them since before the ceremony – he wasn’t quite sure what their current orders were.

He fell silent as the ‘Slave of Honour’ announced the arrival of the bride and groom and sat back in his seat to observe the newlyweds.

She glowed at Alexa as she asked about her and Nathan's big day. "In a month." She told her she was so excited about it. Egypt watched her play with her hair after she mentioned not having enough time to play with dolls or to do her hair. "Well it is never to late to learn how to do your hair. My sister writes how to books and one of them is How To you Charm your way to a Perfect Hairday. It's on sale at Flourish and Blotts." She told her. She was so proud of her sisters and all that they did, she would shamelessly plug and support anything they did. "Have you tired just letting it go straight?"

She listened to her talk about the new changes to the school. "No I ave not heard anything from Tomasina. I do suspect that she is going to be getting into trouble. She doesn't take to rules a whole lot." She said hoping that Tommy didn't get herself into more trouble than she could handle.

She saw Nathan look over her way and he gave her a tight smile. She wondered if something was wrong. She gave him a bigger smile to say I love you silently. He was talking with some of his coworkers so she turned her attention back to Alexa. She started glowing when Nathan sat down and whispered in her arm. He sent a shiver down her spine and into her toes. She turned around and pulled him close to her for a kiss on the lips. She smiled before she planted a kiss on his soft lips. She was tired of not touching the man she loved just because they were at someone else's wedding. "You look so handsome Lord Greenwood. Still looking for a waiter to come around, Rico decided to relax an bit and just enjoy the conversation and light atmosphere. Hey, it was a wedding after all. The wedding of the century, and he was invited. Besides, the 'happy couple' had just entered. No rush.

"Oooh, you do have a point there," he replied, shaking his head a little but still smiling. "What about you? I mean, you look a little younger than me..." he cocked his head to the side, trying to guesstimate her age. Not that he would ever directly ask her, since that would be rude, but he was curious.

"The weridest wedding," Rico repeated, contemplating her question. What a good topic! "I'd have to say, one of my school buddies got married in a blimp right after we graduated from school," he said, laughing a little. "The ceremony, the reception, everything was in this huge zeppelin as it flew over New Mexico. It was pretty funny, though, since about a dozen Muggles reported seeing UFOs the next day," he added, recalling the details like it was yesterday. "And then the bride and groom left on their brooms after it was all over! I've never seen anything like it since!"

He chuckled a little. "What about you? Any crazy wedding stories?"

When the bride and groom arrived, Jacob clapped enthusiastically before turning back to Miley. This was (hopefully) a special one-time event for the couple and they deserved the clapping."Yeah, my department has been a bit slow," Jacob commented. "However, considering everyone is down here at the moment...that may be why. I haven't really been up to my department yet."

Looking around at everyone talking and laughing, Jacob suddenly had an urge for a Gillywater.

"Do you know if there will be wait staff coming around?" Jacob asked. If he didn't get a Gillywater soon, he would not be in a good mood. His usual drinks were water, tea, and Butterbeer, but today he felt like something different.

Bella clapped politely when the happy couple was announced. The wedding was lovely - beautiful, really. And the color coordinates and themes was simply stunning in Bella's opinion. Although purple was a bit much but still... she tugged lightly on her own short purple dress and looked down at her matching high-heels.

Bella took a small sip from her drink and eyed the dance floor. In the whole wedding hulabaloo she'd lost Cris and Shylo. Bella shrugged, she'd find them or meet some new ministry workers to talk to.

Hah! His stupid winking hadn’t gone unnoticed! He beamed back at her when she smiled like that. It was a smile that could light up the whole of Britain, it had enough electricity to light up the National Grid, and dazzle anyone within 500 yards. He smiled back, holding her gaze for what seemed like a a good while to him - but time seemed to stop when he looked at her, even now, so he was a little unsure. He would never tire of looking into those eyes – even if it was from across the room. At times he did still wonder what Egypt saw in him exactly, but he usually just shrugged these negative thoughts off. It didn’t matter – he was an extremely lucky man to have her and that was that.

After he eventually went to sit with her, he set his current drink down and helped himself to a large glass of red wine from the bottle in the centre of the table. He returned the kiss, and pulled her back for another one. He no longer cared who was watching – this was a day for celebrating love after all, nobody could really object too much... even if it was at the dinner table. He smiled as she whispered sweetly in his ear and gave her a one armed squeeze. “Why thank you, Lady Riddle.” He replied, grabbing his wine glass off the table and having a large gulp of it. Very nice it was... obviously none of this cheap plonk for the Minister and his new wifey.

“I hope I’m not intruding.” He said to Alexa and Egypt. “I would hate to have walked in on a conversation involving shoes or hair or something.” He teased.

He turned to face Egypt “Have you seen the dancefloor? It's all purple.” he said as if this was some kind of amazing revelation. It was truly one of the most amazing things he had ever seen. “Shame about the music.” He muttered to himself. He liked classical music... but at a wedding reception? You could hardly shake your booty to that now could you?

Lola got up from her chair, where she had been resting her feet, and walked over to Nathan. "Hey! So you're off duty now?" she asked, awkwardly pulling at her dress robes. She knew it was supposed to be a tight fit, but she just wasn't used to it. She stood around, listening to the peaceful music, it was a very classy affair, she had to grant the couple that.

As the happy couple stepped in, she politely clapped her hands. She didn't know them, of course, but she knew it was convention to applaud the newly weds. Turning back to Nathan, she started chatting, sipping her white wine. "It's a lovely set up. It's a little like walking into the past, with the string quartet and the ornate tables." Putting her hair behind her ears, she readjusted her stance, trying to look natural in this unnatural attire.

“Oh hello Lola!” He said brightly. “You know Egypt, right?” He gestured to his other colleagues, “This is Warren Rodemiere and Alexa Black – they’re both Aurors. Warren, Alexa.. this is Lola.”

He looked a little sheepish when she assumed he was off duty – “No, no.” He replied. “Just having a wee break from it.” He subconsciously pushed his glass away from him.

Lola was looking rather uncomfortable – fidgeting with her robes – that was one of the reasons he hated wizard robes – they were damn uncomfortable... and itchy. And Nathan thought he looked ridiculous in them. They seemed to look a lot better on women than men – in his humble opinion anyway.

He clapped half heartedly as Lola did – it was all very showy this wedding. “It does look good.” He agreed. “But I think they’ve gone a little overboard with the purple..." he said in a hushed voice. "...if you don’t include the dancefloor that is.” Nathan had taken a liking to that purple dancefloor, but whether he would drag himself over there to the current music was a different matter. “I hope they play something you can dance to after the food.” He commented, pulling his glass back towards him and having a swig. “You’re welcome to join us, love.” He said gesturing to an empty seat across the table. “The more the merrier.” He said with a wink and a smile.
