Carol Ann came down to the first floor office and waiting room area. She smiled to herself Ah, I love my job! She was dressed in turquoise robes, a pink hat with a turquoise ribbon and three feathers sticking out of it (two turquoise, one pink), and was wearing a large pink ring. Her hair, either very dirty blonde or very light brown, was curled and worn up. Carol Ann greeted the secretary and said, "Good morning, Wanda! I believe I have some visitors scheduled for today. Some people from the Ministry wanting an interview? Buzz me when they get here, please."

Teal walked outside the ministry of magic as instructed, and with his usual cup of coffee in hand, he found the portkey that was going to take him to the Quibbler Headquarters to get to the bottom of this case. It seemed to him that all people that worked for the Quibbler were a bit strange... to say the least. With a sigh, Teal picked up the portkey and get the strange tugging feeling as he was instantly warped through space to the front of the Quibbler Headquarters. It was a peculiar building indeed, and he for one had never been here before, he had never been a big fan of anything the Quibbler had ever written.

Walking inside, Teal tossed his empty coffee cup into the nearest trash can before walking over to the secretary sitting at her desk. He gave the woman a weak smile before going on, "Excuse me, but I was sent here by the Ministry of Magic to investigate on a case assigned." Teal looked around the room, in pursuit of a person that might be looking out for him, or someone for that matter. He shrugged slightly and reached into his coat pocket and pulled out his Ministry I.D. so the lady could write down all the information she needed for sign in or whatever it is secretary's need. "I'm Teal Andrus, Department of the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures." he said, laying the I.D. down on the counter.

Wanda took a look at the ID card the man placed on the counter and wrote down the required information. "Thank you," she said. "Please have a seat and Carol Ann will be with you in a moment." With a flick of her wand she buzzed Carol Ann's office.

When her buzzer went of, Carol Ann exited her fourth floor office to go down and meet the person, or people, she was to have a meeting with. She tucked a loose curl up into place on her way down the stairs. As she walked through the first floor office she saw a man sitting in the waiting area. She walked over to him, held out her hand, and said, "Hello there, you must be from the Ministry? I'm Carol Ann, Quibbler journalist."

Peter looked at the time as he walked down the hallways of the ministry..something about a portal key to the quibbler. Yep to ask some questions about the 'smart' people who were breading the trouble. Peter had his ice cream in a cup, more like one of those muggle oreo blasts..or was it a flurry thing. he didnt quite know...he didnt keep up with the lingo. he saw the portal key as he placed a hand on it. the next thing he knew he had been warped to the quibbler.he was waiting for a female voice to say you have reached your destination. he looked around to see a desk. Perfect

he puled out a spoon from his pocket as he smiled at the nice desk lady." Good morning." he said pleasantly at the lady. " Sorry to trouble you, but i believe i have an appointment. Im from the ministry of magic, the Department of International Magical Cooperation to be exact." he said as he then moved to eat some of his ice cream. breakfast of champions.. also a nice jump start to his day. He smiled at her as he waited.

"Hello. If I could just see your Ministry ID card I can sign you in," Wanda said kindly, with a slightly bored tone in her voice.

Carol Ann turned to look at the man from the Ministry walking in. "Ah, hello there! I'm Carol Ann, the Quibble journalist I believe you're here to see," she said enthuistically, holding out her hand. "This is lovely, now it's a party of two! Is there anyone else coming? If not, we can head on up to my office and get straight to business!"

"certainly." he said to the lady as he moved put his spoon in his breakfast." here you go." he as he pulled out his badged and showed it over to her."that exciting today i see." he could tell she was having loads of fun by her tone. he signed in as she requested as he moved back to his ice cream. he looked over to see, apprently the lady he was suppose to talk to."thanks." he said to the lady at the desk. he walked over to introduce himself." Peter Letross from the department of International Magical Cooperation." he shook her hand as he looked at the other man." i believe so, but they dont tell me everything." he smiled at her as added," Sounds awesome." getting to business sounded perfect...in the mean time he would just eat his ice cream.

"Lovely!" Carol Ann exclaimed. She didn't get visitors at work too often, let alone people wanting an interview with her, so she was very excited. "Let's just head up to my office than, shall we?" she asked the two men. "If anyone else wants to join us, they're more than welcome to when they arrive. Follow me please." And with that she led them out of the office and up four flights of stairs.

They walked through a hallway with newspaper -- well, mainly Quibbler -- clippings framed and hanging on the walls. There were also some cartoons and a few drawings of magical creatures there as well. As they came to the end of the hallway, it was evident which door they were about to enter; on the name "Carol Ann" was written in a sparkly turquoise elegant script. Underneath it, in a pink, more professional print, were the words "Executive Quibbler Journalist." "You see," she said to the men, who probably didn't even notice the details of the door name tag, "I change it each morning to match my mood and clothes. Well, come on in." She held open the door and waved them inside, closing the door behind them.

The office was very reflective of the person inhabiting it. The walls were a very pale turquoise, for that day at least. There was a little sitting area, a miniature caffe, and a large desk. The chairs in the sitting area were very fancy and elegant, with pillows to match. There were bookcases along some sections of the wall; all of the wood in the room was very light. Like the hallway, there were Quibbler articles, along with some abstract designs, on the walls.

"Please, sit down," she said to the men, motioning them over to the sitting area. "Would you like anything to eat or drink?" Carol Ann asked them, jesturing to her own personal caffe.

Peter nodded slightly as she lead them to her office. he looked at all the stuff on the walls as they went. Cartoons..he wondered if this lady liked jokes. she must of..look where she worked. he was interrupted from his thoughts as she spoke again. About her name on a door. he smiled at her as he added," lets hope its not blue." he walked into her office as he took a seat when she offered. he shook his head at her question." No thank you. I still have my breakfast to finish off." he said then holding up a cup with very little ice cream left."smells good though." he said smiling.

Carol Ann poured herself a drink with a strange scent: slightly floral with a hint of carmel. Sitting herself down in a chair facing the two men she said, "So, I hear you have some questions reagarding an article I wrote? I'll do my best to give you the answers you need. Go on ahead, fire away!" She smiled an braced herself for the questions.

Emma finally arrived near the Quibbler's offices. Wishing away the terrible wave of nausea that usually accompanied Floo travel, she slowly got back her bearings. Her eyes followed the tall buildings silhouette, making her cock an eyebrow in earnest surprise. This place was even weirder than the magazine itself, she thought with a chuckle.

She let herself inside, giving her surroundings a cursory glance to inventory most of what she saw. Odder and odder it went as she went toward a desk where a witch was sitting. Taking out pen and memo pad out of her pocket, she firmly planted a friendly smile on her face. "My name is Emma Brown from the Ministry- International trading offices. I'm expected here for an interview with..." Emma frowned, for she didn't know who she was expected to see.

Taking another tack, she asked if any reporters were expecting someone from the Ministry and whom it might be.

Wanda looked up from her romance novel to another visitor entering. "Ah, yes," she said, "You're looking for Carol Ann. She's already with some other Ministry officials discussing the same issue, I believe. She said to send anyone else up to her office. Don't be afraid, she loves visitors. It's on the fourth floor, end of the hallway, with 'Carol Ann' written on the door. You can't miss it." She smiled, slightly bored, and signed the visitor in.

"Thank you, miss", Emma answered back with a grateful smile and a nod of her head, taking the stairs that were nearby. She was late and that aggrieved her to no end. Her first assignment and she was late for it.

She reached the fourth floor and searched for the right door. Finding the door with the aforementioned 'Carol Ann' written upon it, she stuck her hand up and promptly knocked on its hard surface. Giving her appearance a quick once over, she waited to be allowed entrance.

Lizeth walked into the busy office. "Hello. My name is Lizeth. I'm from the International Magical Office of Law I was told to report here." She tried not to appear nervous. This was her first big assignment.

"excellent. I will be sure to keep to the point so i dont waste either of our time." he said as he put his ice cream aside and pulled out a muggle tape recorder. " hope you dont mind." he said as he pressed the record button and placed it between the two on her desk. "Alright first off, if you dont mind of course, i was wondering about the story. There had been some attacks in Switzerland by some mysterious creatures, that apparently are invisible. You believe they are Lethifold breed with Demiguise? Do you have any idea why they would be breeding creatures? The purpose?" he was curious to know why anyone would want these around.

"Enter!" Carol Ann called out in a friendly voice.

Wanda, once again, looked up from her book to see a slightly nervous woman standing in front of her desk. Another one coming in to see Carol? Goodness, she's becoming quite the celebrity at the Ministry. thought Wanda. "Mhm. You're here to see Carol Ann. Fourth floor, end of the hallway, her name is written on the door. Just knock and she'll let you in," Wanda told Lizeth. All of these visitors were really getting in the way of her reading...

Lizeth smiled at the woman and just before she turned to go and said, "Ooh what are you reading?" She was trying to gain time and get to know the temperment of the people there. Who knew, she might be able to get some of the story just by meeting some other people.

Emma entered the room, a smile at the ready, stretching her hand out for a handshake. "Good day! My name is Emma Brown from the Ministry's International trades division. I'm here about the story you wrote concerning a new dangerous beast." She wasn't too sure that this was her best introduction, but it would have to do for now.

She noticed other people in the room and nodded politely toward them. This had to be the other Ministry officials that the secretary had spoken about downstairs.

"A Muggle novel. Very amusing, what some Muggles do," Wanda answered, now absorbed in her book.

"And good day to you, too, Emma. I'm Carol Ann," she said, standing up to shake her hand. "We were just beginning to discuss the article. Have a seat," Carol Ann said, sitting down herself and gesturing to an empty chair.

Carol Ann eyed the Muggle device suspiciously, genuinely interested, but said nothing. In response to the first question, she said, "Yes, there have been a few attacks in some other countries. As they are invisible, it is hard to know for sure what they are; however, all the evidence we have comes to the conclusion that they are a Lethifold/Demiguise mix." Now the questions got into some uncharted areas. Before answering, Carol Ann straightened her hat. Finally she answered, "The purpose for breeding the creatures isn't known as of yet. It could be for strictly experimental purposes, or there could be malicious intent behind it. We have one person who thinks he might know of a possible suspect, his neighbor. But nothing is really known about the breeder yet."

"Sounds interesting." Lizeth realized that her plan to talk to some other staff members hadn't worked so she walked in the direction she had been pointed and knocked on the door.

"his Neighbor? What proof for evidence does he have that lead him to thinking it was his neighbor?" he thought about what other questions he had to ask. They really should of let him wing it. it was better that way in his opinion."Also the names of all the victims and just a brief story of how this happened." he readjusted himself in his chair as he looked at her for the story. he really had not been able to hear the whole story so it would be interesting to hear what she had to say.

"Come in!" Carol Ann called. "I"m Carol Ann, Quibbler journalist," she said, shaking her hand. "Have a seat."

"This is just one man who came foward very recently with a possible lead. He hasn't given much of a statement yet, so, again, nothing is known now. The word of this whole story has only gotten out very recently!" Carol Ann was trying to keep her voice professional. She didn't know everything! "The names of the victims, that I do have." she said, happy to have some valuable information. She flicked her wand and a file came zooming into her hand from her desk. Reading from a piece of parchment she said, "There are three that we know of from each country, a mixture of witches, wizards and muggles. From Switzerland: two wizards, Jetmir Dritan and Brantley Kreshnik, and one female muggle, Diellza Blerina. In Scotland we have a witch named Maisie Grear and two wizards, Lennox Macauley and Tavis Baird. And in England we have muggle Seth Kenney, who I believe is a muggle doctor, Bridget Thompson, a little muggle girl, about seven or eight, and Accalia Bailey, a young witch." Carol Ann handed each of her visitors a list of victims saying the name, gender, country, and whether they were a witch/wizard/muggle. "None of the doctor or hospital reports saying what happened are released, though what a story that would be!" Carol Ann said with a gleam in her eye.

Lizeth sat down in a chair and looked at the lady. She looked nice enough. Lizeth was unsure what she was supposed to be doing, as she hadn't been told anything other than to go to the Quibbler. "My name is Lizeth, I'm from the International Magical Office of Law."

Emma gleaned over the parchment's content, taking a few notes on the side. She finally gave the reporter a look of disbelief. "You think this would make a good story? Aren't you even mildly interested in these peoples lives and how they have been affected by these supposed attack?" she shook the parchment toward the Carol Ann, "And for all we know, the neighbor that came forward with the story, might have fabricated it to stir up trouble. What proof did he or she bring forth?"

In Emma's mind, breeding beasts that were virtually unseen by anyone, would be a hard thing to find, let alone breed with another hard to find creature. These aren't harmless dogs or cats... or kneazles for that matter.

"Of course I'm intrested about how the people were affected by the attacks!" Carol Ann exclaimed, "And I'm sure everyone else is, too. That's why it would make a great story!" Here we go again, back to the neighbor. "Yes, the story could very well be fabricated for attention. What evidence he or she has isn't known now, but it's the closest thing we have to information about the breeder," she said.
