"Jolly good" Priscilla beamed at Ali and motioned to have an another try at it.

Erin listened to the instructor's directions, but once she reached #3, Erin had forgotten the first two. Well, at least she knew to turn and be... deliberational. And she was supposed to try to get into the hoop in front of her. That was quite obvious.

Erin felt the need to pump herself up a bit for her first attempt. She began to bounce wildly on the balls of her feet, quietly chanting to herself. Once she felt that she was adequately 'pumped', Erin decided to give it a go.

Only remembering one of the three D's, Erin turned on the spot. She lost her balance and fell forward, landing into the hoop. "Not bad," she muttered, grinning as she stood up. At least she'd made it into the hoop. Erin ignored the small bump her knee had aquired and decided to try again.

Turning on the spot once more, Erin had the feeling that something would happen this time.
She was wrong. Once she was through turning, Erin was still standing exactly where she'd started. She did feel a slight tingle in her feet, though...

"Concentrate harder" Priscilla appeared out of thin air to spot a troubled student, apparating around training students could give possible motivation, "and make sure you vibrate every particle in your body!".

Ray was back in the room where he learned so quickly to apparate, he looked at the professor and approched him "Sorry professor I was wondering if the examination has started?"asked Ray.

Ali smiled to herself and stepped out of the hoop. She breathed deeply and closed her eyes. She visualized the hoop and saw herself in it. She concentrated on the hoop once more, then turned around and opened her eyes. "I did it again." She seemed to be getting better and better at it.

Shylo looked up at the fast learning Hufflepuff boy. She chuckled and shook her head, before indicating to a hoop.

"No, no, my dear boy. This is the first lesson! the exam won't be for a while and I suggest practise for now." She smiled kindly. "There will be an announcement when you can be examined."

Shylo beamed and clapped her hands together. "Excellent Ali! Keep practising and you'll be more than ready for the exam."

Qaz was ready as she ever would be. She raised her hand and asked politely, 'The schedule said the Apparitions test were yesterday and today, but it didn't say what time. I haven't missed them, have I?'

Priscilla flailed her arms around excitedly as she said "No you're all on time. Test starts now" taking a few steps backwards to stand near a big board. She waved her wand and words appeared on it with bright purple fonts. With another flick of her wand,purple hoops appeared out of thin air, exactly 20 feet away from each participant.

If you read the board clearly it shows you the following test instructions:

1. Each student must Apparate successfully into provided hoops at 20 feet & 60 feet consecutively.
2. Once succeeded, each student must hand in a piece of parchment providing the following information.

Ray was ready for his examination, he all ready done it before, he looked at the circle at 20 feets away, he was ready. First he needed to fix his mind firmly on the his destination, the hoop 20 feet in front of him, determint to occupy the hoop, he concentrated harder, making sure to ripple every particle in his body, he turned on the spot and felt like he was being compressed in a little tube and he was moving, when he opened his eyes, he screamed he had done it he was now standing in the hoop 20 feets away.
Now to the second hoop, he did the same thing he concentrated, determint to occupy the hoop at 60 feets away from him, he close his eyes making sure to ripple every particale in his body, he turned on the spot and he had the same feeling of being compressed in a tube, he opened his eyes and he was standing in the hoop 60 feets away.

Qaz was ready to take her test. The first distance was 20 feet, which she’d done before. She closed her eyes, thinking to herself, ‘I will apparate into the hoop.’ She felt the now familiar ripple, opened her eyes and looked down. The hoop was right there where it belonged.

The second part was 60 feet, which she’d never done before, but knew the principle was the same…distance didn’t really matter. Nevertheless, she spent an extra minute calming herself. Destination, Determination, Deliberation. That’s all it took. She focused on the distant hoop, closed her eyes and concentrated ‘I WILL apparate into the hoop.’ She was almost afraid to open her eyes, but she knew she had done it. The little shiver through her body was almost a comfort now. She tilted her head, opened one eye and peaked at the floor. Sure enough, the hope was there.

She gave a little yelp and forgetting the others around her, started to do a little dance….for about 3 seconds. She stood tall, walked over to the examiner and handed the examiner her parchment

It's Ali's turn to do the test and she is feeling a bit nervous. She looked at the hoops and breathed deeply, closing her eyes. She visualized the hoop, 20 feet away from her. She took a few more deep breaths. the opened her eyes. She was standing in the hoop. She let out a tiny squeal that only she could hear. The next hoop, 60 feet away. She wasn't feeling so nervous anymore but there wuz still a bit of anxiety there. She breathed deeply and closed her eyes, visualizing the hoop that stood 60 feet away."you can do this." She opened her eyes and smiled. She had successfully apparated into the hoop. She felt so proud of herself.
