Rebecca smiled "Nice to meet you too" she stole her hand back as he dropped it "I think I remember you too, I was a year above you" Rebecca mused "So, happy about being in Law Enforcement?" she asked

Joe smiled back and shrugged.Your Rebecca todd aren't you ?He asked.Yeah I'm really excited and a bit nervous.he addmitted as he glanced around the room still wondering how Shana was doing.He sighed a rather loud sigh,although he didn't mean to,he was worried about his little sister,he was smart but Shana wasn't excatly and he worried that people would pick on her because of it.He glanced around the room again and straightened up and smiled at Rebecca again.

Rebecca nodded "I am, but don't you dare call me Miss Todd" she warned him "Don't be nervous, I don't bite" Rebecca grinned "Worried?" she asked him as he sighed.

Joe smirked.Okay.He took a step back.Then laughed a bit.Erm kind of just about my little sister,shes at hogwarts at the moment and Im just worried that someone will pick on her 'cause shes not excatly smart.He smiled he hadn't talked to Rebecca much but she seemed very nice.

Rebecca grinned and then nodded "Well, don't worry about her, if she has real problems, Samantha will know, since she's in charge of the education department" Rebecca smiled "She'll help us" Rebecca nodded.

Joe smiled.I'll try not too.He beamed.Soo when do I like start work ? he questioned.

Rebecca grinned "Well, whenever you want to" she giggled "We aint got much going on today..." she told him "So.. you could put your feet up if you want" she smiled "I'll be over here if you want to talk or anything" Rebecca nodded and then put her head on the desk tiredly, she was so used to this office being empty, it was where she usually slept.

Joe smiled.Hmm Okay.He moved over towards a desk with his things on it.He sat down and twiddled his thumbs.He looked around the office and at everyone in the office not that there were many people in there.

Noah made his way into the room, his box of supplies dwindling in weight. He set it down on his new desk and placed them in the drawers of it. This room was much more spacious than the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Room, but it was too late to go back to that room and get more of his supplies. Besides, it was probably much more interesting where the weird bewitched muggle artifacts were. He leaned back in his chair after setting a moving picture on the desk of his sister and mother last fall. He had bewitched it to move, because it was only a muggle picture back then. He smiled at it as they waved to him.

Rebecca smiled as Joe moved to his desk, he seemed happy enough

Then another person walked in "Welcome" she smiled at him as she lifted her head off the desk "I'm Becky, I'm the division head here" she stood up to greet him properly "You must be Noah" she held out a hand for him to shake "I've been expecting you" she nodded.

Noah looked up from his desk. A very attractive woman was addressing him. Noah found himself being a little clumsy as he stood up to greet her.
"Hello Becky, it's a pleasure. Division head, eh? Yes, it's Noah." Noah shook her hand, smiling warmly. "Thank you."

Sooooo, she was the division head? Hmm. Too nice for a division head. he thought. There must be something wrong with her.

Meh...maybe she was one of those women with hundreds of cats.

"It's nice to meet you finally," Noah added, nodding. "It's very nice here."

"Yes, Division head" Rebecca confirmed, was he one of those people who thought women in charge were either bossy and strict or just layabouts? She smiled back at him "Pleasure to meet you too, I'm division head for the other division you're in too" she nodded "It's pretty nice here, yeah, I've been on my own for a while..." she trailed off as she glanced at her own messy desk the was piled with papers "Well... this is Joe" Rebecca introduced Noah to Joe "And Joe, this is Noah, you're going to be colleagues" she smiled "As you can see" she then looked at them both "Breakroom is that way, refreshments are available there, but I have to ask, please, drink any coffee in there, and not here, tea is fine but not coffee, sorry" she smiled at them

Noah nodded, extending his hand to shake Joe's.
"Two divisions? Must be a handful. Got it. Tea, not coffee."
Yick... Noah didn't really like either.
"Well I think I've made it clear that it's my first day to everyone. I got myself lost this morning just trying to find my way here." Noah surpressed a smile. Though he didn't like getting lost, he sure did have an interesting morning. "How long have you been here, Becky? And you too, Joe?"

Rebecca grinned "Well, actually it's five divisions" she corrected him, then she smiled as he said he got lost "It's pretty easy to get lost in here" she reasoned "I've been here for a few months" she nodded proudly.

Noah stopped his jaw from dropping. FIVE divisions? FIVE?! Noah had just been introduced to Super Woman!

"Wow." he muttered, raising his eyebrows. "Yeah...it's reallll easy." he nodded. Plus his horrible sense of direction had a lot to do with it...

Rebecca laughed as Noah looked surprised "What?" she asked him with a small curious smile "It is, I got lost my first few weeks here, but I've got someone to come and find me now" she laughed as she thought of Brian "Don't worry, I'll be able to find you if you get lost" she grinned.

Joe extended his arm and shook the mans hand.And smiled.I'm Joe,Joe Miller nice to meet you.He stopped shaking the mans hand and stood up.

"Well, someone's going to have to find me. Today it was just a couple of dead ends and pointless directions from busy people." Noah grinned at Becky's expression. "And nothing, I'm just surprised. I didn't think it was possible for someone to be in charge of all that."

"Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Miller." Noah released Joe's hand and smiled. "Are you new like me?"

Rebecca grinned "I can do that" she laughed "It's possible... It's hard work though" she explained "And I can multi-task" she joked "It's not too hard though"

"I'll take your word for it, then," Noah looked down at the ground, studying his feet. Oh, what to say, what to say? There was absolutely nothing. Especially not to a woman who was in charge of FIVE freakin DIVISIONS. "So..."

Becca smiled 'Okay, awkwardness, it's happened before, just make small talk' Becca thought as she watched him study his feet, when he said 'So...' Becca finished his sentence "Did you have a job before this one?" she asked 'Reeeeaaaal great small talk, well done' she thought sarcastically 'SHUT UP' she scolded her own thoughts.

Noah's heart sank. Greeeeaaatttt, the subject of previous jobs. The truth was, Noah had never worked in a wizarding environment, other than that month at the Quidditch Supplies store, where he got fired for falling asleep during hours.
"Umm...well, my first job was at a hardware store, and I recently quit my Uncle's lumber business..." Noah decided not to mention the Supplies store...better to leave some things unsaid. It was sort of embarrasing. "Both muggle places, I know. What about you?"

Becca nodded "Muggle places are interesting" she nodded again but this time she was impressed "Oh, I used to work at Flourish and Blotts as the till assistant, then I moved to this very office and got promoted to the position I'm in now" she grinned as she remembered how she had got to where she was now.

"They sure are. The only thing about muggle places is that they're pretty slow...no 'hokus pokus' to speed things up, as my family says." Noah listened to Becky. "I love Flourish and Blotts...I probably saw you once or twice. That was really quick, to be promoted like that."
Noah found himself subconciously thinking of the ways this lady could have gotten so high up in about a month. She didn't seem the type to do something wrong to get in that position, but still...he couldn't help wondering.

Becca nodded "They are slow, but they're fun to watch when you're bored" she laughed "You probably did, but it seems like I was cut out for Law Enforcement" Becca nodded and then she watched Noah who seemed deep in thought about his last comment "It was pretty quick, I worked really hard to get here though, I went round all the offices for my old division head, and since I knew what to do, I was promoted" Becca explained.
