Angelina raised her perfectly shaped eyebrows slightly at excited woman that had just stepped in side the office. She listened to what the woman had to say carefully and then replied.
“Hello Katy. Oh yes, I heard that we had new liaisons arriving.. Welcome to the Ministry of Magic and to the minister of magic’s office then. I’m Angelina Gilmore and it’s a pleasure to meet you.” Angelina placed the cook book she was still holding in her hands on the desk as she introduced herself. She kind of had already forgotten the feeling of not knowing anyone in the ministry, but seeing Katy reminded her of how it felt. “Well, there was no need to directly inform me about that. You submitted it and that was exactly what you should have done. Me, and sometimes Minister Taylor, go to that box where you submitted it several times a day to verify what assignments have and have not been completed.” Angelina explained with a nice polite smile. “But you did the right thing in coming to me Katy.”

“I assume that you have read the hiring notification and understood perfectly what your job is about, given the fact that you have already finished your first assignment.” She smiled honestly at the new employee. Katy seemed to be pretty professional, perhaps a little too excited, but professional.
And professional was a good thing, very good thing. “Nevertheless, if you ever have any questions about your assignments or if you need any help please, don’t hesitate to come to me. I will be glad to help you. ”

Angelina decided to take advantage of the situation and introduce the two liaisons.
"Katy, this is Tonya Springs she is the liaison for the magical law enforcement department." she then turned to Tonya. She was sure that the woman had heard what Katy had said, yet.."Tonya, this is our new liaisons to the department of magical accidents and catastrophes, Katy. "
There, introductions were made.

Tonya put down the papers she was going through and stepped over to the girl, " Hi Katy. Nice to meet you. Welcome to the team." she said with a smile and held out her hand.

Samantha walked towards the desk of the Undersecretary, but she didn't see anyone manning the desk at the present time. She wondered absently who the new Undersecretary was, as it was the position Reagan had previously held. She was sure the staff was busy with the transition, but the matter she and her Division Head, Jake, were here regarding was one of extreme urgency. She waited for someone to come and assist her, so she and Jake could request an audience with Minister Taylor as soon as possible. She needed to be informed about the grave situation at Hogwarts immediately. "Hello, is anyone here?", she called out.

Katy smiled at Angelina, "Alright, thanks a lot for your help! It was nice to meet you also!"

She then turned to the other liason when they were introduced and shook her hand, "Nice to meet you too! Thanks, everyone seems so nice here!"

"Well...I guess I will be seeing you all around...I have some unfinished business to attend to. See you later!" She smiled at the other two before heading up to the third floor to meet the rest of the employees in her department.

Jake walked towards the desk of the Undersecretary, straightening his robes as he walked. Even at a time like this, he was STILL meeting with the Minister for Magic and he needed to look presentable in front of her while he delivered the bad news. He could at least give her that.

"Samantha? Who is the new undersecretary?" he asked as he finally reached the desk. No one seemed to be in control and that made him feel even worse. Poor Minister - she had barely just made the seat warm and now she had this thrust upon her.

But then, there's a reason that woman is the Minister of Magic.

Samantha looked around nervously. "Jake, to tell you the truth, I honestly have no idea. There hasn't been an announcement made yet." She was starting to get a bit worried, as no one was coming out to assist them. Things were in complete disarray, just as she had thought, and it was essential they reach the Minister and tell her the news. "If someone doesn't come soon we might have to go through on our own," she said hesitantly. "Minister Taylor needs to be informed of the situation."

"Hello?", she called out again, a bit louder this time.

On their own? Into the office of the Minister herself?! Gulp. Jake felt slightly ridiculous - his anxieties were nothing compared to the matter at hand - yet how could one NOT be anxious about barging into the Minister's office just like that?

Then his thoughts went to Rachel and her friends and all the students at Hogwarts who were currently Headmaster-less and with no Runes Professor. His worries melted instantly as he reminded himself that this was for THEM - all the poor kids who had been traumatized by the event need some sort of help and Jake, however indirectly, was going to give it to them.

"Samantha, with all due respect to Minister Taylor and her position, there is probably no one manning this table so I think we should just go in. This is really urgent," Jake said in a calm, level-headed voice, persuading himself almost as much as he was persuading Samantha.

After meeting with Tentrus Santana, Sarah returned to her level. What a nice man. Very enlightening and very kind. She was glad that she had such a colleague. The young woman was headed towards her desk, when she noticed there was a man and woman standing in front of the Office of the Senior Undersecretary and the Junior Assistant.

Sarah raised an eyebrow as she overheard them discuss an issue. An urgent issue. Curiously, she walked over towards them, cocking her head slightly to the left. "Hello...? How may I help you two?" she asked, looking between both of them.

"Are you the undersecretary?" Jake asked, feeling bad for cutting off Samantha but he was getting really worried by now. "There is an urgent matter that we must discuss with Minister Taylor," he explained to the young girl -she can't be more than two years older than Rachel!- who had walked up to them.

Fidgeting with the letter inside his pocket, Jake glanced sideways at Samantha, waiting for her to pass her own judgement.

Sarah studied the two people who seemed rather harmless, but hurried. Seemed like whatever matter they needed to discuss with either the Minister or the Undersecretary was very important. Sarah smiled but shook her head. "I'm sorry... I'm not. Minister Taylor is still in the midst of deciding on her Undersecretary. And since the Junior Assistant is out and since this is an urgent issue, I believe it'll be fine if you just go right up to the Minister's Office. She's in the middle of cleaning out the furniture so it might be a tad bit inconvenient. But just go right ahead," she said, nodding her head.

Although she probably hadn't been here for more than four hours, it seemed like the right thing to do. By the way the two were fidgeting and looking around and at each other anxiously, Sarah could tell that it was a matter that couldn't wait.

Angelina was taking care of some papers that were starting to get on her nerves. Basically, her desk was a mess.
She was deciding what was definitely trash and what wasn’t when she spotted Samantha, the department head of Magical Education, walking in the direction of the undersecretary’s office door with a man next to her.

She seemed to be a little disturbed, so Angelina rapidly stood up from her comfortable chair and started making her way towards the undersecretary’s office.

“ Good morning.” The brunette spoke with a polite smile on her lips as she stepped in side Reagan’s previous office right in time to listen two quite stressful words. Urgent matter. Now now, that couldn't be good. “ Urgent matter you said ?” Angelina inquired with an eyebrow very slightly raised, then introduced herself. “ I’m Angelina Gilmore, the junior assistant. How can I help you ?”

Seconds later, Sarah heard a voice and she looked over in that direction. She didn't recognize the woman but she introduced herself as the Junior Assistant. Assuming that now that the Junior Assistant was here, all things would be dealt with and properly and that she should be back at her desk, writing out her report.

Sarah just smiled and nodded at the three as she walked out of the office and away from the three. She couldn't help but wonder what had happened.. she'll just have to ask Brian and Becca later on.

"Yes, I agree with you completely, Jake," Samantha answered. She was feeling a bit nervous about busting into the Minister's office like a tornado, and she knew that Jake shared her feelings. It just wasn't her style.

"All right, perhaps we should just do that, then," Samantha said. She wasn't ordinarily the type to barge in on someone, especially not the Minister, but the matter she and Jake were here for was of the utmost, most urgent importance.

Samantha recognized Angelina from a prior meeting. She had struck her as responsible and capable, with a level head. "Hello, Angelina," she said, preparing to speak just a bit on the matter she and Jake were here to see the Minister regarding. "My Division Head Jake Rider and I are here to speak to the Minister about an extremely urgent matter. It seems there has been a werewolf attack at Hogwarts, and the werewolf was one of the professors. To make matters even worse, the person who she attacked was the Headmaster himself." Samantha shook her head, knowing this was something the Minister would want to hear about immediately. "Now I've just found out that there is no Undersecretary yet, so should we just go on through to her office or wait? I'm quite certain she would want to be advised of this situation immediately."

Angelina listen to Samantha's words carefully, and her green eyes widen a little bit at the mention of a werewolf in Hogwarts. A werewolf teacher that attacked Headmaster .
Urgent matters, were never a good thing.
"Oh my. " Angelina finally spoke. Reagan would want to know that right away. " Yes, of course Samantha. Just fallow me." The brunette continued, as she started walking towards the minister's office door.

"Thank you so much, Angelina," Samantha smiled and winked at Jake in a way to indicate, "Good, we don't have to break the doors down on the Minister's office after all!" She stood up and proceeded to follow Angelina towards the doors to the Minister's office, knowing that Jake was right behind her.
