Brian felt Becca's head on his shoulder. She's going tobe really sick, very soon. Not good..not good.Brian had to speed up the process, he couldn't let her get sick and all. "You'll be fine Becca," he gently spoke into her ear before He turned to Teal, "It's a pleasure for me too, " he acknowleged him properly, still standing since they were not offered to sit.

"Well..I'm coming to the point, I hope you heard all this election talks around the ministry lately, " he asked in his casual tone, not showing any expectations or anything. "I just..wanted to know about your opinion as my fellow department head.." he smiled.

There was another knock at Teals door, Teal sighed very subtly. It had been a long day, again. Ever since the Campaign had started, the long days hadn’t subsided. “Come on in.” Rang Teals deep voice, welcoming yet professional.

It seemed that this, Becky, couldn’t muster a response, so Teal looked to his fellow Departmenet Head instead. Hopefully he could provide some information, apparently this girl was a bit ill. She needed to sit down, it appeared, and shook his head as in all the chaos he had forgot to even offer them a seat! A crude mistake. “Oh, so sorry, please to a seat.” Teal said with a bit of a guilty laugh.

Teal nodded as he listened to Brian’s question, and nodded in response. “Oh yes, I’ve heard the buzz.” Teal said with a laugh, “I’m actually the campaign manager for Minister Cooper’s realection campaign. I’ve always had a deep respect for the man, I couldn’t betray his trust. Plus, he has served our country well the past few years as Minister. No one better for the job, I don’t think.” Teal concluded, sipping from his coffee. “What about you Mr. Lee? What’s your take?”

Rebecca nodded and instantly felt dizzy, she clung to Brian's arm and tried to look like nothing was wrong as she listened

Rebecca smiled "Thanks" she told him as she blinked to try to be able to see properly, she took a deep breath and instantly regretted it, she breathed in a lungful of the coffee smell and coughed, she gave Brian a pleading and warning look as she went paler again.

Becca's grip tightened around his arm and her breathings seemed not in rhythm. It happened once before but in different situation for different reason. This time it seems not a good sign. For his great relief, Teal offered them to sit. "Thanks, actually it's a timely help.." he smiled at him as he led Becca to the seat, "Relax love, we'll finish it soon, " he gently squeezed her shoulders to make her comfortable untill he finish the talks Teal.

Then he took the seat next to her, looking at him the man who didnot make much fuss to tell his opinion, "Well..i guess the MInistry need a change, especially at the top," he smiled, one hand still wrapped around Becca's shoulder, "I dont think any productive measures has been taken in Mr. Cooper's period," he voiced his opinion.

Becca stumbled over to the seat with Brian's help and sat down quietly "Thanks" she told him as she leant back and closed her eyes while listening, she was starting to drift off to sleep, coffee didn't just make her ill, it made her tired too, she forced her eyes to stay open, she stared at the ceiling and took another deep breath.

Apparently this Becca girl was breaking down, fast. She needed something to help her out, desperately. Teal finished the reminants of his coffee and stowed his mug. “Are you ok, ma’am?” Apparently not.

Teal raised an eye at Brian, apparently he was a Reagan’s side. “Well, I quite disagree.” He said simply, professionally. “Brennan Cooper has kept our economy stable, Hogwarts has been shaky in the past few years but they are still the most prestigious Wizarding School in the world. Cooper has been fine. I’m afraid all the change Taylor will bring about will be more detrimental than beneficial.” That was Teals take on it, anyways.

Becca heard the question from Teal "I'll be fine" she mumbled, ok, now the office was blurry and the words were confusing, Becca sat up again and then leant on Brian as she heard the mention of Hogwarts, she wanted to say something, but in the state that she was in, she'd probably burst into tears straight away "Brian, Mr. Andrus" she finally spoke up "Can I request permission to leave please" she asked formally, she bit her lip as she waited for an answer.

Now Brian was hundred percent sure of Teal's stand. He was Cooper's. Grinning slightly Brian was listening him talking about Cooper and his records. If any? "Well, I can deny on some areas. In my opinion, that Belle and Cooper school thing was one of his greatest flaws," he said firmly, yet smoothly. After all he came to know his fellow department head's stand not for debating or something. So first cross mark on his canvassing list. Brian chuckled to himself.

When he was about to say more to him, he felt Becca's head on his shoulder. was she alright? Seems not. She looked pale again as she was once before. Brian's mind started working fastly. He must take her out, otherwise she'll go terribly sick. I dont want to see her sick again. He knew that, he excused himself to Mr. Teal as he lead her outside the office door with his arms around her.

"Just sit here Becs, inhale deeply.." he said and made her seated in the corner seat on the hallway, handed over his perfumed handkerchief to her. "You want to stay here or go to the breakroom?" he asked, took a seat next to her, stroking her hair.

Becca stood up and nodded to Teal "Sorry" she apologized before she put her arm around Brian's waist and stumbled outside "Thanks" she sat down and breathed in before taking his handkerchief and breathing into it "I'll stay here, go back in, finish, I'll wait here, take as long as you need, thanks, now, go" she told him as she hiccupped, she took out her wand and started to look at it so she wouldn't look at Brian and he couldn't see how much she wanted to be with him, when she looked up, she had determination in her eyes "Go, I'll be here" she told him firmly with a nod.

"Are you sure?" Brian asked in doubt as Becca was insisted him to get back to the room to finish the job. He hesistated but he knew she would not allow him to stay with her as they had a work unfinished and moreover Mr. Teal was waiting for him too. He sighed, leaned in, kissed her forehead before got up, "Okay, stay alive for me atleast, " he said in humorous voice with her fav. crooked smile, before walked inside the door as adjusting his cloak.


"Sorry Mr. Teal, She has this bad allergy over coffee smell," he said in a lighter tone, sitting on the same seat once he was before.

Teal sat back in his desk as Miss Becca had her whole ordeal with her coffee allergy. And his patience were starting to run very, VERY low. He rubbed his eyes as Brian entered the room again. “Anyways…” He said, his deep voice seeming a bit more tired.

“Look, I know you may disagree Mr. Lee, but the Minister has always been strong when this nation really needed it. I agree, Coopers and Belle’s was a flaw. But no one is perfect, and he agreed to have Hogwarts reinstated the following year. He knows when he is wrong, and when he is, he knows how to fix it.” Teal’s eyes drifted off to a certain picture on his desk before moving back to Brian. “So tell me, what exactly do you think Miss Taylor will bring to this nation that is superior to Coopers?” His voice hinted at slight annoyance, Teal realized it was a democracy and all. But it was THEIR minister after all, they needed to stay loyal to him.

Rori walked up to the door and knocked very sharply. She waited for a response, anxious for her first day!

Teal looked to Brian Lee, his face was tired. If you had a before and after picture, it looked as if Teal had aged ten years ever since he’d been appointed department head; it had only been three years. “Look, Brian, I’d love to sit here and discuss politics with you. But have more important things to do at the moment.” That was partially a lie, but if he heard another word about the election he might combust. “If you want to discuss in the lounge later, swing a memo my way.” He walked to the door, as to escort Brian out. Opening it, he looked to the girl outside.

“Come on in.” He said gruffly, gesturing towards the chair that Brian was just exiting from.

Rori walked in. "Hello, sir!" she said. He sat down and looked at her new departemnt head! "Uh....it's my first day and I was wondering if there was anything I needed to know coming in now, or if there is any assignment you needed me on!" She smiled! This was an amazing oppurtunity! She was glad to have it!

Teal eyed the girl as he walked back to his desk; it was a the new girl apparently. It had been a long day, a very long day. Teal was loosing track of his employee’s, Cyrus wasn’t making things easier at home. AND, why did he already have a NEW employee sitting in his office. Surely she wasn’t complaining. HOPEFULLY, she had checked in with her division head first.

“I need you to check in with your Division Head.” He said flatly, “I have a lot to do today. Your assignments are given by your Division Head who are told what to do by me, so I don’t have to spend my time telling an entire Department what to do all at once.” Teal looked at his watch, he was already late for a meeting. “Her name is Georgia Mayes. I suggest you visiting her. And if you have a problem, THEN, please come see me.”

"I did, sir...." Rori said. "Its just that..... I seemed to be the only one in my office. Goblin Laison is empty! is there something wrong? Is there a reason no one wants this job?" Rori said. She was worried that she was not the first to be hired recently........

Teal shook his head, his stress level continued to rise. “Everything is fine.” Teal said it flatly, dryly, and almost threateningly. “Goblins are difficult to deal with, but I expect you to be tough and not complain. I have a new employee coming in, please keep on the look out.” He wasn’t going to be placing this broad somewhere else… if that was what she was after.

"I'm not looking to be moved, its just that i heard this story about this teacher. Well, it was teachers, plural, and they all lost thier job, or thier life casue the job was cursed! And I was kinda scared that there some weird vodoo job cursing going on. i mean, this is usaully a havily trafficed and very busy department and particualy my divison! So....there's no weird curse?" Rori asked.

"I thought I made it clear," said George, leaning against the doorway, "that you are NOT the only person in the office, but your other colleagues are on extended leave or have not yet taken up their positions within the office. Goblin Liaison is by no means cursed, in fact, some of the brightest people in the Ministry started there." Of which, I'm sure you will NOT be one of them. she added silently. Based on her interaction with The Child so far, she didn't have high hopes for her.

She strutted into Teal's office without knocking, as usual. In a reasonably good mood, new Dior Sandals and really good latte can do that for a girl.

"I see you've met The Child," George said to Teal, taking a seat on the corner of his desk. "Something Tamling, I've already forgotten her first name."

"I don;t exactly see you in line for Minister any time soon!" Rori thought.

"Well thank you Mr. Andrus! Sorry we were interrupted!" Rori said as she got up and left. Boy,that Georgia had some nerve barging in on a private meeting! Rori really needed to come up with that nickname! "Puggsy!" She thought! No, that wasn't specific enough to her monstrous personality. She would think of one eventually!

Teal’s eyes widened is Georgia entered. Oh boy. Obviously she didn’t like Rori Tambling very much, honestly Teal wasn’t getting a good vibe from her either. But still… she entered without knocking.

“Knocking… would be appreciated.” Teal attemped to put force behind his words but failed, attention was all on ‘The Child’, as George had put it. “I have.” Teal said it flatly and eyed the pesky employee, apparently setting up meetings was unimportant to her.

Sipping at his coffee, Teal simply waved as Rori left the office. Dark blue eyes flickered back to George. “Can I help you?” Hopefully not, her presence was really not very appreciated.

"I was wondering if I had had a time turner accident," said George sipping her latte.

"You see, there is no way you could possibly have assigned someone with a temperment like Tamling to Goblin Liaison, or any of my offices, unless you were playing some sort of practical joke. And I am reasonably certain that April first has passed." And then some.

George tapped her foot against the side of Teal's desk and raised her eyebrow at him. "Would it kill you to send me someone who knew which end of their wand to hold?"

“Did you now?” Teal leaned back in his chair, and subsequently sipped at his coffee after her.

Teal laughed this time, shaking his head. “Her file wasn’t too impressive. I figured if I wanted to rough someone up I’d send em’ to you…” Sending people to George was basically like a death sentence.

She was tapping his desk, he didn’t like that. “Please, have a seat.” He gestured at the chair with a grimace, hopefully this wasn’t a long sitting. Teal reached behind him in the filing cabinet and pulled out a file. “I do actually have a new employee coming in, her OWLS and NEWTS were impressive…” Teal stated, laying the file on the desk. June Naruja, sounded like a sweet girl maybe.

Boy was Mayes going to love this news. “I think I’m going to have to let Tamling go.” The Department Head folded his arms. “She wasn’t qualified enough in the first place… especially not for Goblin Liaison.”

George grinned. "And here I thought you and I didn't understand each other, Fearless Leader," she said proudly. George would always be the person who laid down the law. The one who whipped people into shape, scared them into submission. That was just who she was.

Feeling generous, she removed herself from Teal's desk and sat down in a chair. "Do I dare believe it? Competence might grace my office? That's almost as good as experience. Don't toy with my emotions Andrus, I don't have any, well not any good ones."

George set down her coffee and stood up. "Seriously? Seriously? You're just coming to that now? What was your first clue? Oh who cares? She's gone!" George twirled in a circle gleefully and sat back down.

"You didn't see that," she informed him.

A familiar looking pink-broomstick shaped memo zoomed under the door of Teal Andrus' office and did a loop (or two or three or five) around the office. It was clear that even its haste that the words were written, the memo still had no qualms about showing off just a little for the Department Head of Magical Creatures. Once complete with its little dancing regimen, it landed on Teal's desk and unfolded itself to unveil familiar purple writing:
