When Rosalie found out that it was AJ Silverstone that was her head of department that had lightened her outlook considerably. When first finding out that she’d been rejected by the department of Magical Law Enforcement it had been the only thing to make her feel any better about it. AJ had been several years her senior, but she remembered her well. Even though Rosalie was five years younger than her, they’d gotten along quite nicely. It had been a true shame when AJ had graduated. Rosalie had missed her, and slowly lost touch. Now, they’d be working together. It wasn’t hard to see AJ as a figure of authority. Alie had always looked up to her. She’d been the prefect that had shown Rosalie around the school...how things went.

Rosalie raised one fist, and knocked on the door. Her other hand curled around the door knob, and she slid the door open far enough for her head to stick into the lavender scented office. When her eyes fell on AJ a grin spread across Alie’s face of it’s own accord. It had been so long since she’d last seen AJ! She looked so much the same...only a bit older...how strange time was...

“Hey Silverstone.” She greeted AJ as she moved into the room, closing the door behind herself. “Long time no see. How have you been??” She inquired, grinning hugely. Rosalie moved closer to the desk while reaching one of her hands up to tuck some of her long auburn hair behind an ear. It was so bothersome!

“Hey Silverstone.” She greeted AJ as she moved into the room, closing the door behind herself. “Long time no see. How have you been??” She inquired, grinning hugely. Rosalie moved closer to the desk while reaching one of her hands up to tuck some of her long auburn hair behind an ear. It was so bothersome!

Hearing a knock on the door already, AJ looked at her watch, so early. She let loose a sigh, set her pen down (yes, she was using a muggle pen), and looked up with a smile, "Enter!" she called, but before she could, a very welcome and very friendly face entered. "ROSALIE!!!" she nearly squealed, and jumped up from her desk as fast as professionally possible, to engulf her friend and Hogwarts chum in a hug. "What a relieving distraction from paperwork you bring!" she said smiling, please, have a seat, have a seat," she said, gesturing towards a comfortable looking padded chair in front of her desk.

She returned to her place behind the desk, in her black comfy swivel chair, and made one last check mark entry on the paperwork before clicking the pen closed, stacking all the paperwork neatly into a pile, and placing it into a folder. "So, Rosalie Hale, what brings you here this fine day? And what have you been up to all these years?" She didn't realize it until she saw the job application, but she had really missed this girl.

After finishing her paperwork Emily needed a break. She had to admit she was rather bored and wished she was in another department. Things in the Beast Division were going too slow for her pace. She wanted excitment, adventure, something other than reading boring files about non-dragons in places she knew they didn't belong.

Deciding to speak to her Department head about her concerns she thought she'd go and meet her, not having done so when she first arrived in the Ministry. Thinking now would be the perfect time she resigned herself to walking over to the office and standing in front of the door, wondering how the woman would take it. She wanted out and nothing would stand in her way. Knocking on the door with her knuckles she stood back and waited.

As she waaited she thought back to how she began feeling this way. She was normally a fun loving person, but ever since she arrived here something was missing in her life. She needed, no wanted something more. She knew a change was in the mix and was ready for whatever came her way. She knew her passion was for magical creatures, but lately, if she was truthful with herself she wanted action, she waned to go places, do something.

With me being the employee in my department and no jobs placed due to lack of Employees, my patience snapped. Approaching the office I see an older woman awaiting entry to the office.
"You waiting for some work too?" I inquire, the slight hint of my impatience flowing in my voice. "Reason I'm asking is I'm also waiting for some hands on work, and more people in my department. I'm so far the only person who's in the Werewolf Capture Unit."

Corvus walked up to Xire and sighed "Only one in your department. hunh" she said in a sightly annoyed voice "I really want to be in your unit, believe me I do" she sighed once more, this time longer and louder "But weather or not is not up to me" she looked down in frustration "There's one other person in my department but she says nothing"

Corvus began to pace back and forth, a frown on her face "I want to help werewolves, not hurt them!" she said in a slightly loud yet quiet voice "They should be treated like any other, not singled out and afraid" her voice became quiet and slowly faded away. "I hope they will let me help" then with that she stoped talking all together.

I sigh and look to Corvus,
"You do realise that some force would be necassary to stop a rampaging werewolf. That and cautiousness, because werewolves are so very unpredictable." I look down and continue, "Obviously you'd have to wait sometime for A.J. to make up her mind whether she will or not. So, during that time I can help you with spells that would stop a werewolf. Though we first have to each speak to A.J. about are problems."

she turned toward him 'right' she said quickley, she continued to pace back and forth, her cousin looked at her as if any more pacing would burn a hole right through the floor it's self.

Sighing impatiently I start tapping my foot on the floor, waiting for the line to move.
Why are there so few employees in this department itself? This is a perfectly useful department that deserves a good amount of work.
I let my legs go limp and slump to the floor. Now sitting I pull out my sketch book and continue on the drawing of the griffyn.

Emily jumped, not having heard the footfalls behind her until the voice spoke. She turned to see a fellow employee, though she couldn't for the life of her remember the name. "Yes, actually I'm here to see if there has been any news on dragons. It seems that the memos have been missing our division." She explained, not really wanting to tell the truth.

Folding her arms she waited, her blue eyes squinting into the shadows of the corridor, spotting another person walk up and start speaking to the other one. Shrugging she turned back to the door and though of how she would approach the topic,

Corvus turned toward the girl who had just walked into the room, she eyed her for a few miniutes then took a deep breath as she walked over. She stood face to face with her "Hi, i'm Corvus and this is my cousin Xire" she said rather slowley "Something wrong in your department too?" she asked tilting her head toward the left.

AJ heard a knock on the door and smiled to Rosalie, "If you don't mind, we'll continue this later? Business calls," she said and called loudly to the person at the door, "Enter!" As they enter, she looks at them with a polite expression, "What's up, I mean... What can I help you with?" she said in a more professional tone.

corvus gave a slight smile back, and say "i was wondering if i could be transferred to warewolf services, to work with my cousin"

Emily heard the Department head tell them to come in. Straightening up to look more professional she took a deep breath and smiled as she walked into the room, noticing how neat it looked. She nodded to the young Department Head and waited her turn, though to be honest she had been three first and she was rather annoyed at people walking all over her.

"I'm not sorry to interupt, but I do have a slight problem, other than the fact that there' a light buzzing above my head in my office that's driving me crazy." She began smirking slightly. "I'm here on another matter altogether. when will we be getting work? I mean, there's only two of us in the Dragon restraint division and already we're tired of looking at eachother." She stopped, realizing how rude she was sounding and flushed slightly. "I'm sorry it's been a horrible week for me. I'm just starting to realize that I may be in the wrong department. I lost the thrill of Magical creatures." that and the fact no one wants me here she aded silently, hoping no one could read her mind.

Knowing she was rambling she stood there, twisting her blouse between her hands in a nervous way, which always happened.

"Just wondering when there'd be some work, and if new employees were bound to come to the Unit?" I say then, absent mindedly, "Just asking since I've had nothing to do except pracitce one of my best non-magical talents."

AJ held up her hands defensively, "Please, I called for one person to enter and you all start talking to me at once!" she shrieked, more flustered now than she had been previously. "I'm aware that work is slow at the moment, and you are bored, but please, just be patient and speak one at a time, because I only have so much of an attention span and can't listen to you all at once. Emily, you were first, weren't you? Yes sure, why not... I know, we don't have many employees at the moment, the other departments seem to be a bit more interesting than animals for some reason... and I'm sorry you and your coworker aren't getting a long at the moment but it's all just really stressfull right now. The buzzing I don't know... unless it's some sort of creature, I'm useless on that, perhaps you could call one of the Magical Maintenance workers up here to look at it?

Emily, dear," AJ said standing up, "You are in the right department, believe me, you wouldn't be put here if it wasn't meant to be, you are just a more... hands on person, who likes to be in the field, not in an office, correct? Just rough it out with me for a few more days, I promise the work will start to happen, and then you'll all miss the days of relaxation and... socialization and boredom." she gave out a nervous laugh, and smiled at her. "Please, just bare with me on this, trying to manage all this plus the new recruits and trying to organize missions and deal with the people who haven't checked in for work... ugh. not exactly the easiest job it you know what I mean." She smiled and looked to Corvus.

"You were placed in the division you were placed in for a reason, because you were best suited for that one, not because of family ties. Normally family tied employees don't even get the same department, so I don't know what went on there, but no, you may not transfer to work with your cousin. Not until we all get busy and you can actually prove yourself more fit to work with werewolves." She sighed, and looked to the last of her employee's that had just barged into her office. "You just heard all the answers you need for your questions, I believe."

She stood back and observed her neat little office, proof she hadn't moved from her desk much in the past few days. She breathed deeply, really not wanting to get on the bad side of her employees so early, but not knowing how else to deal with this.

"And next time, when I call Enter, it is to the first person who actually knocks that is being summoned, not everyone waiting outside my door. I only heard one rap of knuckles, too, and yet there are 3 of you that entered. Please, take that into consideration next time." she said, forcing a smile and trying to be as polite as possible. 'I guess I was rong in thinking that was common sense' she thought, but dared not to let it leave her mind and form into anything verbal.

AJ slowly began to laugh, and smiled, letting out a breath she was unknowingly holding. She looked at her employees, smiled once more, and sat back down. "If that's all, then please let me get back to sorting these aweful files, thank you." she said and looked down at her desk once more.

Emily flushed slightly as Aricca tore into them all. She kind of understood however and nodded slightly, a slight smile creasing her aged face. "I'm sorry for how I acted Ma'am, I'm glad you understand me at least." She replied, trying to show her age and not her attitude. She was hands-on, it ws amazing to see how fast she had got that. At least she was showing her understanding that way.

Sliding back towards the door she nodded her head at the others and smiled once more. "Well, I'll go and find something to do. Good day to you all." With that all said and finished she realized she was hungry and went uot the door, bag swinging off her shoulders to grab a bite to eat.

Knock knock knock!

Bella stood outside the division head's office, waiting to be called in. She shifted her notepad and pen in her other hand and her eyes were fixed on the slip of paper in her hand.

She re-read the assignment, just so she knew what she was there for. It was easy to loose track when you had so many things in mind, like the flowers and the tailor and of course the Minister was having lunch with Ms. Belle. This meant she had to fix up their lunch too.

A paper airplane flew into the office of the Department head.

The note read:

Jack had received a letter and wanted to comment its contents with his Department Head, or Aricca, as he called her.

He noticed a woman standing in front of the office, she looked like she had a lot of things going on, and Jack knew Aricca was a little busy, so he decided to ask her if he could help her.

"Hey there! I'm Jack Lockhart, the Being Division Head, if there's anything I can do to help you? The Department Head seems quite busy" he said, and his expression drew a smile on his face while managed to stay serious.

Bella frowned and her fingers tapped on her notepad impatiently. Why is this taking so long? Was she even in there or hadn't she heard Bella knock on the door?

When she heard a voice, Bella turned around and looked at the guy. She would have totally accepted his offer - she certanly was tempted to accept it. It would save time and effort. "Hello there." She said with a smile and since this person had introduced himself, she'll have to do so too. "I am Isabella Brown, the junior assistant to the Minister of Magic." She would have extended her hand, but her fingers were just not working with the rest of her body. They were still tapping on her notepad even after her brain specifically ordered it to be extended.

"Oh. No, it's okay. The Liaison between the department and he Minister couldn't be here and I am just stepping in for her." She informed him, matter-of-factly. "I just have to speak to the department head about this little problem and then she can take care of things form then on."

Of course there was no need to give quite as much detail in her explaination, but that didn't mean she wouldn't give it.

Jack listened to the woman and nodded when she finished, "Ok, no worries then" he said, "Perhaps you should knock again" he continued, gesturing at the door.

He looked at his watch, and since he was not in a hurry, decided to come back later, "I'll come later" he said to Isabella, he returned then in a slower pace that usual, he was completely not in a hurry.

"Please, Emily, don't worry about it, I understand where you're coming from, and frankly I'd like some field work too besides all this paperwork and sit-down business I've got to deal with..." She said with a smile as Emily left.
"Enter!" she called to the next person, and, upon seeing this person enter, she knew was not from her own Department. "How may I help you Ms... errr... How may I help you?" she asked, wondering what this was about.
She looked down, a bit surprised at the arrival of a note in this fashion, but read it and smiled. This would keep someone occupied, even if only herself. She took up the note and decided she'd pin it up on the Bulliten board in a moment.

It was good to see AJ again. It had been so long! And it was good to find a friendly face in this place! Working with an old friend made it a bit easier to take working in a department that she found a bit dull. Not that she didn't see why it was necessary, because Rosalie really did, but animals were so easy to handle! Nothing like a dark Wizard...oh well...at least in this department she'd run into that good looking man on occasion.

Rosalie hugged AJ back when she stood up, then moved towards the chair, hoping to catch up. It had, after all, been her only reason for coming to AJ's office.

"Oh I just dropped in to say--" At that point there was a knock at the door. Rosalie turned towards the noise and watched as three people burst inside. Poor AJ! What half-whits...why would she tell everyone to come bursting in at once?? Who really wanted to deal with that. Rosalie was tempted to roll her eyes, but she restrained herself.

When AJ snapped at them for their lack of tact, Roslaie felt her lips twitch up into a grin. AJ had always been good at taking charge of a stuation, and put people in their places. It was a talent that few possessed.

Once everyone had gone, Rosalie tried to speak again.

"I can see that your busy. Maybe if you ever get to take a lunch break we can catch up in the cafeteria. It's probably best not to chat in here too long...your clearly a wanted woman." Rosalie smiled at AJ, and moved towards the door. "It's nice to see you again AJ. I'll drop in another time. When there is less going on..." She suggested. Rosalie waved good-bye before leaving the office.

Bella stepped into the office, her heels clacking on the floor as she entered. "Good Morning everyone!" She beamed before she turned to face the Head of the Department.

"I am Isabella Brown. Junior Assistant to the Minister." She thought it was best to inform her about the situation before she launched into why she was here. "Unfortunately the Liaison for your department is unable to be here, so I was sent to do her job."

She flicked the bit of her hair which had suddenly decided to place itself on her forehead before she continued. "There seems to be an infestation of bowtruckles in the tress surrounding the location where the Minister is getting married. Could you please send someone over and remove the bowtruckles and make sure they and other creatures stay out in that area till the Minister's wedding."
