"It isn't," Aveira replied with a smirk. "I'm here only to oversee your work because I have been told nothing about what I'm supposed to do... And I'm overtly sadistic."

Daemon grimaced. He sat down beside Rob and groaned.

"This...pretty much...sucks."

Sigh, sigh.

"What exactly am I doing?"

Rob grinned and tossed a few more files into his done pile. "I wish. I'd hand off the rest to you if that was the case." Rob shrugged his shoulder. He hadn't written so much since his NEWTS in Hogwarts and his arm was starting to get sore. Luckily, he had already gone through almost half of the pile. "I'd find Ben. I think he's walking around with your stack." Rob grimanced. "Tell you what. Since it's half my fault, I'll help you with the papers." Rob knew his wrist and shoulder would swell later, but ohh well.

At last, Ben found Daemon. Right back where he started. Rob's desk. He carried his huge amount of files over to Rob and slammed them in front of him to make it seem like a lot more. "Where have you been? I was just here a while ago." Ben sighed and looked at Rob's notes. Way too many. there were not that many irregularities in that tiny amount of files. He looked back at Daemon. "You... Are looking through these files for any irregularities..." Ben quickly flipped through the files and smirked. "And you have until the end of the day." Ben nodded and turned around, to head back to his desk to look through the car dealership case one more time.

Daemon supressed a girlish squeal of surprise when he slammed the files down. He looked up at the man in shock as he explained what he was supposed to do...and then just left.

"You have got to-" He stared at the files, a look of such shock upon his face it might've even been funny. "They're really-" How was he supposed to do this? "I'm not even sure I like him." Finally, a full sentence.

Until the end of the DAY?!?! *Cue that girlish scream supressed earlier.* IMPOSSIBLE.

He got some paper from Rob's desk drawers and a writing utensil and began sifting through the paperwork.

"Impressive retort," Aveira replied, rolling her eyes. "Though, leave insulting me for later. You have work to do, unless you want Warren to go Chuck Norris on you. I bet he would, too. Nose to the grindstone."

OOC: Haha, I so understand. You can go read it anytime. I'm supposed to be working on an English paper now. Nothing substantial, but still massively important. At least, it is if you have my grade in English. *shudders*

Rob grinned at Daemon. "Well, I'm done. Just jot down one or two things for each things. It'll only take like 30 minutes or so." Rob's arm twitched involuntarily. He could almost feel the joints swelling from having written so much so fast. And his hand was a bit swollen. Rob sighed and leaned into his chair, resting his arm on the desk. Ohh yeah. He'd feel it in the morning.
"Now now ladies. Let's not fight." Rob cracked his eyes opened and watched the 2 of them argue. "Or, at the least, if you do decide to fight. Go ahead and bring me some popcorn." Rob wanted to lift his arm, but it was aching too much. "Or, hand me my wand. I'll conjure it myself." He said, looking around, and trying to find his wand.

Ben looked up from the car dealership file to look at the people he took upon himself to watch work. He read Rob's lips. He is NOT done. he stood up and read something else from them. He's out of his mind, right? Ben walked over to them and looked at Rob and Daemon. And gave a charming smile at the lady they were talking to. He turned back to Rob. "First of all, it's illegal to conjure food. Second, there is no way your done with all these files. Did you just skim these and write down anything somewhat different? Do them again, and this time, focus on the details." Ben shook his head at this rookie, who just wanted to goof off. Ben turned back to their friend and gave one more charming smile at her before walking back to his desk. No wonder Warren's so strict. It's fun.

Rob almost rolled his eyes as Ben walked over. "Great, more work for me." He muttered to himself as Ben began lecturing him. Rob sighed internally as Ben went on about illegal conjured foods and the files. Rob's eyes narrowed a bit when Ben told him he had to redo the files. Rob began to think as Ben smiled at Aveira. Then, he realized just what he could do. He reached into his desk, pulling out a QuickQuotes Quill. He grinned as he set it down. Rob began reciting back the notes he had taken, the quill writing down almost a full paragraph per bullet. He sat back and winked at Aveira and Daemon as the quill began to write down the notes for him.

Ben looked up from his file for a split second to see something that made him laugh. Rob using a QuickQuotes Quill. Ben shook his head and took out is wand. A quick flick up and the quill and the notes Rob just took went flying onto his desk. Ben showed the quill to Rob with a look that said, 'really?' Ben set it down and wrote a note down on Robes "notes." He pointed his wand at it and sent it back over to rob in paper airplane form.

With a smirk, Rob sent the note flying towards Ben.
"I already did do it the hard way. Kind of." Rob held up the notes he had taken over, that now numbered almost 15 pages. "I don't know if they're right though. How about this? You can take all the files and read through them, and double check my notes." Rob grinned evilly at Aveira. "It sounds like a good plan to me." Rob said, reaching into his desk. He opened his front drawer, which was filled with candy. Rob reached down and shoved a handful in his mouth "An' I'll even let you 'ave some 'andy." He said, trying to speak around a mouthful of Fudge Flies.

Without even looking up, Ben caught the note that flew at him from Rob. He crumpled it up and dropped it in the garbage. Not even caring what it said. He wasn't going to be passing notes to someone. He looked up and looked at what Rob was saying. Oh... My... God... Benjamin stood up and walked over to Rob. He looked don and laughed. "Look, man. I know you don't want to do these. But this is your job, right now. I could get Warren, so this is your final warning. There is no reason this beautiful lady has to read over your work," He said looking and smirking at the girl, "Whom I still need to know the name of," he looked back at Rob, "So look back through it. And I'll tell you what," He leaned in closer. "Just look and act like your busy, these files are old and solved cases, and there aren't THAT many irregularities." Ben looked down at the candy. He looked back up, "Really?"

Ben looked at Daemon who yet to start working. "I'd get started. Time's going to run out." He backed up and shot one more smile to the lady. This time, with some charm to... turn her head. He went back over his desk and realized there was no point of going through the files again. So he took out some paper and wrote down some points in the file that were crucial.

Rob's jaw dropped. Wow. This dude must have some sort of mind reading skill. That, or he can read my lips. I hope it's the second... Rob thought, staring at Ben. Rob sighed and shook his head. He cracked open the largest file, the one he had skimmed through in less than 5 seconds. Rob half wondered if he could conjure up a comic book behind the folder. He glanced over at Daemon, wondering when he would start.

She couldn't let someone get close to her like that... The only time she had done that, it had ended badly. "I'm Aveira Lovecraft..."

Ben looked up at Aveira. His charm didn't work. Whatever. Harmless flirting. Ben fixed his Fedora on his head and looked back down at his paper. If he was going to sit in on this interview, he was going to do it right.

"I eat healthy too. I have to balance it out with candy and sugary foods, though." Rob said, shrugging at her as she grimanced at him. Then, as if to prove a point, he shoved another piece in his mouth.
Rob winced as he watched Ben get rejected. His eyes flickered back and forth, watching and judging both their reactions. He quickly looked from both Aveira to Ben back down to the file in his hand. He wanted to watch both of them and read it at the same time. Actually, it was eerie how the case was just like what was happening before him. "Anything useful," Aveira replied with a shrug. "It depends on the situation and my enemy's weaknesses. Curses usually do the trick. Fortunately for me, humans have many weaknesses, while vampire, dragon, inferi... They obviously have less. I find that fire usually works well. I'm afraid of it, as are most creatures. Fear is the best tool in any fight." Smirk. Aveira crossed her arms and leaned against her desk, linking her ankles together as she partially sat on the table.

Rob nodded in agreement. It made sense, even if he was now partially scared of Aveira. "Yeah...umm...that's interesting." Rob said, not looking up from the file because he was scared to meet her gaze. "So. I'm guessing you're afraid of fire? And dogs. Dogs are pretty scary too." Rob shuddered. He hated dogs. They...freaked him out. All muddy and barking.
