"Yes," Annabeth said, running a hand through her hair.

"Sooo...." Rob said, "I'm guessing you went to Hogwarts?"

She couldn't believe she hadn't introduced herself properly! And to a fellow colleague! Geez. "Sorry. I did go to Hogwarts, I transferred from Greece in my third year. I was in Gryffindor," she said, blushing in embarrassment.

Rob nodded his head. Way to embarrass the only person you known here... He thought, frowning. "I was in Ravenclaw," Rob said. "From Greece? Really? Nice Place?" Rob inquired. He loved to travel, but hadn't gotten the chance recently.

"Yes,it's beautiful." She was beginning to wonder whether she could go ahead and set up her desk without going to see her Division Head. Annabeth leaned against a wall near the Division Head's Door.

Rob sighed and sat down on the floor. He had never been the most patient of people and he wondered how long the division head would take. Annabeth was probably just as tired of waiting as he was. He flicked his wand, sending out little smoke animals racing around him and Annabeth.

Annabeth giggled, and swatted at a bobcat as it passed. "Tell me a bit about yourself Mr. Robert?"

Rob absentmindedly sent the animals scurrying in circles. By accident, one ran into the division head's office. Rob cringed and glanced up. "Please, call me Rob." He said, grinning. "Mr. Robert sounds like some mean old professor." He chuckled lightly. "Well, I graduated from Hogwarts a few years ago. I decided to go explore the world a bit and ended up at the American Ministry. I was working with the MLES team down in the Southern region of the U.S. It was fun for a while, but all of my family lives around here, so I got a transfer. What about yourself?" He asked.

"Ehh.." Annabeth twirled a piece of hair. "I graduated Hogwarts, and went back to Greece for a while to see my family. That's all I've done. Well, apart from reading, learning and eating!" Nomnomnom.

Rob twirled his wand, conjuring up a plate of cookies and milk. "So, what was Greece's school of Magic like?" Rob said, eating a cookie. He remembered his fellow colleague next to him. "Cookie?" He asked, holding one up.

" OoOOh, cookie! Yes, please." Foooooodd. This is my new best friend. "A lot of the teachers were descendants, however distant, of the Greek Gods. It was very much like Hogwarts, except that everything was in Greek. The DADA program wasn't as thorough as Hogwarts for sure. That was one of the reasons I chose to come here."

Greek gods, greek gods. Hmm.. Was Zeus a greek god? No, maybe it was the other one... Jupiter? That sounded about right. "That's pretty cool. So they were related to Zeus and Jupiter and all them?" Rob asked, feeling slightly stupid for not knowing who the gods were. "So you speak greek then? And you had the option of transferring to Hogwarts? That's cool. A friend of mine was a transfer from some Swedish school." Rob said, finishing another cookie.

"Yeah, I do." Annabeth smiled when he tried to remember the Greek Gods.He's getting Jupiter and Zeus confused.. Zeus is the Greek one. "I didn't really have the option, per say.. I just decided." [ Because Greece's DA program is crap, more like.

"Well, Hogwarts is a good school, so it's all good." Rob smiled at her. "Have you always wanted to be a MLES agent?" He asked, running a hand through his hair.

"Yeah, I hope to be an Auror someday."

"An Auror eh?" Rob said. He hadn't met very many of those. His old department head was a former Auror and a friend of his was as well, but he hadn't encountered very many in his time in the magical world. "I hear that's pretty hard to get into." Rob said, sounding a tiny bit skeptical.

"i know. But it's been my dream.. and if I don't get it, that's fine. At least i'm in Law Enforcement."

"Yeah... I hope you do get in though. It's always satisfying when you achieve your dreams." Rob's eyes flickered around the room. Where did his future lie? The Auror department? A division head? He shrugged to himself. He'd figure it out later.

Aveira heard the other two new employees talking... Wow, they sure were hiring heavily nowadays. And between them... was a plate of cookies. Her stomach grumbled. Darn, she had forgotten to eat.... or bring money. Well, a cookie would suffice.

She walked up to the two and grabbed a cookie - it was rather big, too, which was good - smiling apologetically as she paused to sniff it. "This isn't poisoned, is it?" Aveira asked, as if they would tell her if it was. Nonetheless, she took a bite out of it, her hand reaching down to the pocket in her robe were she always kept spare bezoars.

Rob paused with a cookie halfway to his mouth. Were they poisoned? He had summoned them from the apartment next to him. They had been baked by that sweet old lady...but maybe she was crazy. Rob shrugged and shoved the rest of the cookie in his mouth. Ohh well. He had eaten 4 or 5, too late to do anything about it now. "Uhh...I don't think they're poisoned. They taste pretty good though." Rob smiled and held out his hand. "Robert Campbell, but you can call me Rob." He said.

Daemon walked over to the Administration office when he caught the smell of...cookies? He furrowed his eyebrows and turned the corner to find a small group of people crowding around a plate of cookies.

Hm.

Daemon walked over nervously and asked, "Uhm, would you mind if I had a cookie?"
Because he was much too shy to just grab one and interrupt thier conversation. Sometimes his own shyness got on his nerves, but he really couldn't help it. Especially here at work, he was still new to the place and meeting new people and ever since that incident in the cafeteria...well, he's been more careful since then (keeping his shoes tied and watching his feet as he walked) and barely approached anyone.

But he really wanted a cookie.

Rob chuckled and held out a cookie to the man. It surprised him how shy people could be. He would have barged right through the group to grab one of those chewy, chocolatey delights. "Hi there, I'm Rob." Rob said, extending the hand not holding a cookie out. There was a growing group around the plate of cookies. Something about food seemed to attract people. It was a great way to make friends... you just have to win them over with food. Rob nodded to himself. He wondered if his Division Head liked cookies....

Daemon gave a sheepish smile to the man and took the cookie. "Daemon," he introduced himself timidly, putting the cookie into his mouth not even a second after he stopped talking. He shook the man's hand as he chewed, pondering what type of person he was.
Was he the annoying in-you-face type, or was he more of a laid-back 'hey, what's up' type of guy?
Daemon looked around examining the other two, wondering the same thing about them, as he savoured the cookie. Just as he finished wondering about the first woman, he also finished the cookie. Absentmindedly, he took another cookie from the plate and kept analyzing the group. What relation did they have to each other? Are they just here for the cookie, just as he was?

Annabeth smiled and stuck out her hand. "Annabeth Lourdis, I'm new here." These cookies were sure attracting people. She guessed that it was a good thing, she needed to meet her fellow employees. Annabeth felt like she was being analyzed, so she spoke up. "I'm waiting for the Division Head. He seems to be chatting with someone in there, and I didn't think it would be polite to interrupt." She began to reach for another cookie, but decided against it. She'd already had four, she didn't need any more. If she took just one more, she'd probably have no appetite for the rest of the day. She raked a hand through her hair, trying to think of a conversation topic. Sadly, she could think of none. where were her social skills when she needed them? Bloody hell.

"Thanks, Rob," Aveira said, smiling slightly and taking his hand. "I'm Aveira Lovecraft. You can call me... Aveira." She finished the rest of the cookie. It was good... Mmm. She was feeling somewhat foolish she was paranoid, but force of habit... "Sorry about being paranoid. It's... my nature, I suppose." Yes, nature and nothing else. Not experience. No way.
