Madison was on a mission. She, along with others in her department, made it known that she needed the help of a few people within the Ministry Security and Aurors as well. She wanted everyone on the same page and to inform those to keep them involved. It was a good thing she'd already made acquaintances with Warren, show she wasn't so nervous. She walked up to the door and gave a tap hoping he was in.

Warren brought his hands down so his bright blue eyes were the only thing visible and he sighed as he heard a knock on the door, "It's open!" he called out. It better not be some newbie wanting to know where he was to sit or something stupid like that. Rubbing his temples he sighed and moved closer toward his desk, picking up a quill without any thought and twirling it around his fingers in a habit he'd never lost.

Madison heard his voice call out and opened the door. "Warren," she greeted him with a few papers in her hand. "I needed to speak to you about something, if you aren't busy. It would be nice to have your take on things as well." She waited to make sure they were not overwhelmed in the office at the moment before making her way fully into the office.

Warren looked toward the door and saw Madison in the door with papers in her hand. "Sure...why not. Add a bit more to the pile," he said sarcastically and sighed. "Well come in. Not like anyone else will be coming I'm sure that they're all trying to figure out which way up and down is." Running his hand over the back of his neck tiredly he sat back, "Sorry...stressful week."

Madison raised her brows in slight shock. "I can tell," she said as she could handle just about anything sent her way. "I promise to take up all your time and then some." She walked over and sat down, pushing her hair behind her ears. She didn't wait for a smirk, a laugh or a sigh as she continued into her speech. "I came here on a mission, hoping to get your help with a few things." She slowly wanted to push things at Warren one at a time, first taking on his slightly stressful moment at the Ministry.

Warren chuckled slightly and ran his hands over his face once more, "Alright...you win...come in and sit down." He watched as she sat across from him and continued on into her speech. "And what would these things be?" He asked curiously as he sat back in his chair watching her. He knew by the way she was acting there might be more than one. Well everyone seemed to have a ton of things they wanted from him lately. He wasn't sure how much he could actually do without going off his rocker.

Madison grinned sweetly as she graciously sat down in the chair across from Warren. "Well, I have succeeded in one thing, that was to make you laugh." The rustle of papers echoed around the room, she was slightly nervous about asking for help. "As you know, the Quidditch World Cup is coming up and Level Six had a meeting about what we were going to contribute towards keeping things out of the site of muggles and safe for wizards and witches.

"An employee of mine, Angelica, came down and obtained a list from your department of Wanted Wizards. Our Department Head, Bella was excited to know that we did gather the information but made it a point to see if there would be any way that maybe one of your gentlemen or ladies could be so kind as to help with a rather small set up we were going to offer. We would just need maybe one to at least help us with those who are apparating in case one may slip through the cracks and think they could get by without being noticed."

Nothing scared her more than having to deal with a criminal and not only herself but Angelica and the others would definitely need protecting. This was probably going to be something she was going to keep away from Constantine for a while as he would worry to great lengths over something so small as this. Add Caleum to that list as well, nothing like brotherly love when you don't need it.

Don't give into the injustice. Stand up and walk out for what you believe. Join the hundreds of Wizarding Workers who are opposed the Ministry's prejudice against those who are different! There will be a mass walk out on Saturday at 4 p.m. to show your support for those who have none. Take to the streets of Diagon Alley and stand up for what is right!

"I suppose if that was your goal...yes you have succeeded," he said as he watched her sit down and heard her rustling through her papers. Odd. "Of course. I'm sure that's a hard task." But why was she explaining this to him....

"Ang...oh right. The pregnant woman. She seemed very nice." Well for the little bit he'd seen her for. Ahh...and here came the crux of the matter. "Madison...the problem is that as you can see," he gestured outside of his open door toward the mostly empty desks, "My employee count is rather low. Unless I do it myself I'm afraid I do not have anyone to spare." Though if he did it himself she would only need one person. Maybe he could talk Alexa into helping him...some bonding time more or less. Hmmm.

"I'll tell you what," he leaned forward toward his desk and pulled open a drawer searching for what he needed. "I will do it myself but I want something from you." Ah ha. Finding the lists he'd started as to who he needed to mail regarding the trial he pulled it out and set it on his desk, grabbing the quill and holding it poised over the paper. "I need a jury. My original intention was to only require the department heads to be there but I could always use more. If I do this for you will you help with the trial?" Seemed only fair to him really.

Just then a piece of parchment flew into his office and he caught it easily. Opening it up he looked disgusted and wadded it up. "They don't understand do they. If they don't stop all magical creatures then they'll have to let all in. Including vampires. Let alone it will be a full moon. That's all we need is hundreds of werewolves tromping about." Tossing it into his waste basket he looked at Madison. "Don't get me wrong. I have no issues with magical creatures. I have issues with potentially dangerous ones in a very big event with thousands of wizards. A nightmare from security stand point."

Madison frowned slightly. How could the ministry be down on Aurors? It would be one thing to let Caleum know but, she was rather pleased to see him not involved in such things at the moment. She liked keeping her family safe and she was not worried with him being involved with his girlfriend at the moment instead of caught up chasing someone who was dangerous.

But as he explained that he would help protect them himself with one condition, Madison's smile returned, this time brighter than before. Sitting in a trial as a juror seemed interesting and she had more than enough babysitters to watch Jadyn between her mother and her brother. "If it means helping you out, Warren, you can count on me." There was a part of herself that seemed to feel comfortable around him.

She was about to continue her conversation when a piece of paper came zooming into the office about werewolves. "A walk out," she mumbled to herself and then listened to Warren speak about letting them into the Quidditch World Cup. "There's no way I would go if they showed up. I was wanting to bring my daughter for the first time, why would they want to put people in danger like that, especially so close to a full moon?" This was the first she'd heard about people having an issue with the post from the Department of Magical Creatures. She sat back in the chair, making herself a little more comfortable.

Warren nodded and smirked slightly, "Then we have a deal." Reaching for his coffee cup on the desk he took a sip and leaned back again as he listened to her comment on the werewolf matter.

"Exactly. People simply will not attend if they let them in. Though in reality it's not them I worry about the most. They're generally easy to spot. It's the wizards and witches that look innocent and aren't...those are the dangerous ones." Sighing he shook his head and took another sip of his coffee, "So...how are things?"

Madison leaned back in her chair and became a little more comfortable than usual. She was tired, working more hours than usual and then going home to care for a baby by herself had it's ups and downs.

"Things are...going," she smiled as she draped her arm over the chair. "Still not sure where and if I am going to stay for the Quidditch World Cup. It's hard enough keeping a baby by yourself at home much less at a place like that." She shrugged her shoulder and sighed.

Warren watched as Madison sat back. She looked tireder than when he'd seen her last. When they had spoken he was at a loss as to what to do about Alexa and really he wasn't better off now.

"Yeah..." he could relate there. Propping his feet up on his desk he looked thoughtful for a moment. "Well..you know I could always keep an eye on the little tyke." Sure why not...he had no experience with kids but he couldn't do that much harm.

Madison couldn't help but laugh at Warren. The way he propped his feet up on the desk and..."Are you sure you could handle a baby?" She was joking of course as he was a grown man and an Auror. Surely he would know something about babies. "You will be there keeping everyone safe and Jadyn will just be in the way. But thank you for the offer.

"And now I ask you the same question, how are you these days?"

"I...no....no I don't," he sighed and closed his eyes. Of course he couldn't. His own father had failed him what gave him the notion he could handle a child. He couldn't even handle Alexa. Alexa....

"I'm...breathing." Opening his eyes he shrugged holding his coffee close to his chest. "I live day to day wondering if it's worth it. Even my best friend isn't trying to push Alexa and I together anymore. Maybe...." he clenched his jaw and stared in front of him not really seeing anything. "Maybe it's not worth it." Was the pain worth it? Clenching his jaw rhythmically he sighed. "I'm sorry don't mean to be a downer."

Benjamin opened the door and took a step inside. He looked around and thought it looked pretty fly. Before he went any further he made sure he looked good for his first day on the Magical Law Enforcement Squad. He adjusted his Tie, flattened out his Suit, adjusted his Fedora Hat, took a quick moment to fix his brown wavy hair, made sure he had his briefcase filled with information about himself and papers anyone might need, and tapped his left pants pocket to make sure his wand was still there. Good to go.

He made his way through the office until he saw two people talking. The Division Head, and a Wizengamot.

Not wanting to interrupt, Benjamin waited until they finished their conversation before he spoke up. "How do you do?" Benjamin said offering a handshake to his division head. He would offer one to the Wizengamot after his Division head. bosses first, right? "I'm Ben Amsten. The New Guy."

Oh gosh. Poor guy was going through female problems, something she knew at least something about. "Well, I am the worlds most patient person," she smiled, tilting her head to the side. "I waited for my true love for well over ten years." She was sixteen the last time she saw Constantine and it wasn't until she was thirty until she saw him again. For some, that would be too long, but for her, she just knew.

"It was well worth the wait." She wanted to encourage Warren so that he wouldn't give up so easily, but then again, she knew absolutely NOTHING about who he was talking about, but she could tell his heart was breaking. "You are not a downer. I'm here to listen."

She then looked up as she heard a new voice entering the room. "Ben the new guy," she giggled lightly with a smile on her face. "I'm Madison Masterson, Department head over Magical Transportation." Okay. She could let the cat out of the bag now as her employees were beginning to come to her, though she was still extremely new to her position.

Benjamin turned to Madison as she spoke up first. "It's an honor to meet you." he said smiling and shaking her hand softly. "Madison Masterson... Are you by any chance related to Mr. Masterson; The groundskeeper over at Hogwarts?" That would be good to know. He looked into her eyes smiling while waiting for an answer. Has to be 15 years older than me. Has connections down to Magical Transportation. Could be useful when going out on an assignment.

Madison's smile grew even wider as the young man asked about Constantine. "Yes I am," she concurred. "He is my husband. I take it you went to Hogwarts as well?" Neo had been Groundskeeper for quite sometime even though they were only married for...wow...going on two years now with a child who was about to celebrate her first birthday.

"Oh, that's fantastic!" Benjamin said as Madison said she was married to him. "I did in fact go to Hogwarts. I Graduated last term. I remember your husband quite well. Great man, he is." That's right, compliment, compliment, compliment. But don't suck up! That's what you have to do if you're going to get anywhere, Ben.

Madi couldn't help but smirk at the young gentleman's comment towards her husband. She knew exactly how he was and well..."Are you sure we are speaking of the same Mr. Masterson," she giggled lightly. She'd dealt with Neo over half of her life. He was NOT an easy person to get along with. "You know, the one who keeps his distance from any and all? The one who seems to care for his grounds more than...oh...let's say any hair he might have out of place? The same person who wears suits to garden and barely breaks a sweat when doing so?" Yeah! She knew him quite well. "It's okay. You can be honest with me. He is a good man."

"Well..." Ben said not knowing how to react, but kept his confidence up. "He was always nice to me and my friends. That is, when we had an interaction. I have no reason to think of him as a bad man." he said smirking, flipping the situation back on Madison. "I've always respected someone who wears a suit to work. It's why I wear one," he said keeping his confidence and flattening out HIS suit. "I judge people by their covers sometimes. And your husband, looks... Professional and classy." And THAT is what happens, when you argue Benjamin Amsten's point.

Madison liked the young man already. She grinned, trying to hold back the laughter that wanted to pour out from her. "Oh. He's not a bad man," she spoke trying to from anyone taking something the wrong way. "And he is just that, professional and classy, which is why I love him dearly.

"So tell me about yourself, Ben. Did you enjoy Hogwarts?" She missed the school terribly and the memories that came with it.

Ben smiled and nodded as Madison confirmed his view of Mr. Masterson.

"Hogwarts was fantastic!" Ben said remembering his times. "Although, I was a bit out of the loop my first year. I was so sure I was going to a Wizarding school back in America, where I'm from. But the summer before I was supposed to start my first year there my father and my older sister moved here, to London. And I learned everything I know about magic there in the Ravenclaw House..." Benjamin then thought about his childhood without his mom. "But my common sense, I think I learned from years of Batman Comic books." He smiled as he thought about pretending to solve cases with his toys when he was little.

"What about you? I'm curious to know what Mr. Masterson's wife is like," he said asking with interest.

Warren nodded and looked at Madison thoughtfully. She was there to listen. Hmm. The only friend he had around here was Nathan and now he's at the Prophet and is a downer himself. Maybe it was a good thing he made friends with her. His eyes flew toward the door as he saw a figure standing there, his hand inching toward his pocket until he saw who it was and detected no threat. Old Auror habits die hard. "Thank you Madison. It's nice to have a friend."

His eyes flew back toward the kid standing there and he pursed his lips as he let himself in and approached him with his hand out. Putting his feet down from his desk with a thunk he nodded simply not taking his hand. As Madison introduced herself he raised an eyebrow at the new title. Well he'd ask her later. Letting the conversation continue he cleared his throat after awhile and stood looking down at 'Ben the New Guy'. "Sorry to cut the reminiscing short. I am Warren Rodemiere head of Wizengamot and Magical Law Enforcement do you have any documents you wish me to have so I can file them away?"
