Sarah's eyes darted from wall to wall as she walked through the hallways and made her way to Level One. Her breathing was turning uneven and her heart rate was racing as fast as lightning. Was she freaking out... or was it just her? She tried calming herself, but no matter how hard she tried, her heart still pounded vigorously. She wondered if the people that passed by her could hear it thump.

And there she was.

Sarah stood before the office of Minister Reagan Taylor, staring at the wooden door as she fidgeted with her hands. She ran her hands through her hair and smoothed out her clothes. After taking a few deep breaths, Sarah finally brought herself to knock on the door, and she waited for an answer.

Nodding at his words and relaxing as he put his arm around her, Becca turned to face the door with a smile.

Smiling at Reagan, Becca nodded "Don't worry about the mess, we're here to see you, not the office" she looked up at Reagan and then glanced at Brian. Okay, well she was going to stop talking now, BEFORE she got herself into trouble for saying something stupid.

Staring at the person who was just over from them, Becca frowned and looked up at Brian curiously before looking at the girl again. Since Brian and Reagan were talking, Becca waved at Sarah. What's Brian's sister doing in the ministry?

There she was. As she invited them to get in, Brian smiled, "It's okay. I knew about Cooper's cleanliness." he chuckled. He had had that opportunity to visit this office when he was a liaison here. Wihtout touching anything, Brian carefully stepped inside the office by Becca beside him. He waited untill Becca echoed her view and said, "First thing first. Congratulations for your victory! It was phenomenal." he said happily, "We're actually came here for inviting you to our Wedding" a broad smile plastterd on his face as he looked at Becca before returned the gaze to Reagan for her reactions.

Glancing back at Chad from the doorway, Reagan retorted, "Oh mighty one? I like it. You've earned yourself one of those frogs, now." Reagan winked, then added, "And don't think I won't kick you out of my seat in about 2 minutes!"

When Reagan turned back to the doorway a new face was there to greet her. With her head slightly cocked to the side, Reagan greeted her, "Hello. Can I help you with something?" Maybe this was one of the two new liaisons that human resources had just hired...

Reagan's head turned from Becca to Brian as each talked. In reply to his congratulatory words, Reagan responded, "Thank you so much for your support, both during the campaign and at the polls! I wouldn't be here in this office today if not for your help and the help of the others who worked on my campaign." And when Brian mentioned a wedding, Reagan's eyes grew larger, as did the smile upon her face, until she couldn't contain her emotion and she grabbed both of them in a big hug, "Congratulations! That is so... so... so wonderful and exciting! And I would be absolutely honored to attend your wedding. Thank you so much for inviting me! When is the Big Day?"

There was a small "woohoo!" from Reagan's chair when Reagan said that he earned one of the frogs. "Take tout le time that tu besoin..." he called back, moving on to the next book. Yeah, he wasn't going to surrender this chair; not while he was butt warming it.

Katy nervously walked to the lifts, her hands shook slightly as she decended to level one where she would begin her work for the Ministry of Magic. She felt like she was about to give a speech, or do something extremely stupid as she walked toward the Minister of Magic's office. First impressions were everything, so she wiped the worried look across her face and replaced it with what was hopefully a look of confidence. She knocked in the Minister's door and awaited a response.

Brian shook his head, smiling, "It's my pleasure to help you Win and to help the wizarding world to get someone a new enthusiatic and productive Minister like you" he said truthfully. It was really a nice change around the Ministry. Everyone seemed welcomed the change. He watched her eyes grew wide and hugged them. It wass a sweet surprise. OHGosh. Brian hugged her back gently. "Thank you so much. It's on 2n August in our Castle" he said and handed over the invite to her, as he glanced at Becca quickly and happily.

As the whole invitation thing was handled by Brian, Becca leant against him and looked around the messy room interestedly. She smiled at Brian when he looked at her and then her own gaze settled on Reagan too. Wondering if Reagan's eyes could get any bigger, Becca glanced at Brian again. WOAH.. didn't see that one coming, Becca laughed softly as Reagan hugged them both and then smiled as Brian answered her questions. Becca sighed contently, watching Reagan's expressions and hoping she'd like the invitation.

Sarah smiled gently as she walked into the office without hesitation. She needed to be more... firm... ish. She didn't know. It was an entirely new experience. But she had faith that she could do it. "Hello Minister Reagan. I'm the new liaison to the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.. Congratulations on your victory, by the way. It is quite an honor to meet you finally," Sarah said, maintaining that small smile on her face. She wondered what people called her at the Ministry. Did they call her Minister? Reagan? Ms. Reagan? Ms. Taylor? Minister Reagan? She'd have to see for herself.

Reagan had left her office door open as she congratulated Brian and Becca - a potentially dangerous habit that Reagan would need to correct as the new Minister of Magic. Hearing a knock on the door, Reagan turned in the direction of the sound's source and inquired once more, "Good afternoon. Can I help you with something?" Goodness! I definitely need to hire a Senior Undersecretary ASAP or I'll never get any work done. I'll spend every last moment entertaining employees and visitors in my office!

Reagan accepted the invitation graciously, reading over it with a grin. "What a lovely invitation! I am so very happy for the both of you. Congratulations again! I have every intention of ensuring my schedule is free and clear so that I can attend your wedding. It sounds simply delightful!" Too bad I have absolutely no one to attend with as my date, no one to share the joys of my new position, no one to... Oh stop thinking like that! You likely wouldn't have this new position if you hadn't put your career first, so suck it up and deal!

Inner monologue concluded, Reagan's eyes were kind as she asked with a wink, "How much time off do I need to give you both for your honeymoon?"

What a peach! So friendly and complimentary! (Always a good choice attitude when making a first impression.) Reagan extended her hand, "Very nice to meet you and welcome aboard. If you're the liaison to the Magical Creatures department, you must be..." Reagan tried to recall the name given to her by the head of Human Resources, "Ms. Sarah Lee?" Hmm. 'Lee' must be a fairly common name. How unusual to have two people with the same last name in her office at the same! What a small little wizarding world.

Brian watched her smilingly as she was reading through the invitation and congratulating them. "Thank you so much..Reag.." Brian stopped, didnt know if it was appropriate to call her by her name as he used to call her since she became the Minister. "We will be honoured if you attend the wedding and being my cheif guest" he nodded and looked back at Becca and winked quickly as Reagan seemed slightly spaced out.

Then she asked this question. Honeymoon. He couldnot help but blushed a bit before answered. "I'd like to take my whole life time. But..two weeks is enough for now" he chuckled, running his hand through his hair, nervous happily.

Then he saw her eyebrows raised when she heard the name Lee. "Well..as a quick information, She's my own Sister Sarah" he said, looked a glance at Sarah, grinning.

Smiling at Reagan's expressions, Becca leant her head on Brian's shoulder and fell silent as he spoke. Grinning at his wink, she turned her gaze back to Reagan. The question I probably shouldn't answer. She glanced at Brian and then down at her feet as they discussed. He's blushing! She pulled away from him a little and smiled at Reagan as he ran his hand through his hair. Nervous? Then the conversation turned to Sarah. Her soon-to-be sister in law. Wow that was wierd. Having any sort of family after all this time was wierd to her though. She looked down at her hands and fiddled with her engagement ring as they spoke. Family. A whole new start.

But if you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask, I really look forward to working with you!"

As she finished her speech, which she had rehearsed several times before arriving at the office due to her nervousness, she took one step backward, waiting to see what the Minister had to say to her in return. First impressions were everything...she hoped she did her's justice.

Sarah stood there, smiling as she let the Minister take in what she had said. Standing before this amazing woman was probably one of the best things that had happened to her. Sarah had been so excited when she was notified that she'll be working for the Minister, herself. She was looking forward to working with her very much. Sarah smiled as she extended her hand and shook the woman's hand. "You got it, ma'am. I am Sarah Lee. Calling for duty," she said, cheerfully.

It was at that moment, she realized her very own brother and fiance was standing in the room with her. Sarah had been so focused on the Minister, she didn't even notice the people around her in the office. "Oh! Brian! Hello. Hi Becca," she said, smiling at the two. Sarah assumed that since the two were together... they were either inviting Reagan to lunch... or inviting her to their wedding. Both highly possible.

Reagan observed how adorable and in love Brian and Becca appeared. She genuinely hoped they would be happy together forever. She joked, "A whole lifetime? Well, I definitely can't give you that long off of work, but I can certainly manage the two weeks." Reagan made a mental note to ask Angelina to make regular appearances in that department while he was gone, just to be sure things were running smoothly.

Reagan inquired of Becca, "May I see your ring?"

Mixing business with pleasure, Reagan also asked Brian, "Do you think that when me and my liaisons here get this office cleared out and the one next door that we could get maintenance to remove some of the furniture? And also, can I get someone from Maintenance to change the weather and view outside these windows? Oh, and someone from Security to evaluate that all the protective enchantments on this office are as strong as ever, and maybe add a few news one?"

Perfect! Both liaisons had reported for duty promptly and appearing eager to work. She addressed them individually first and then both together, "Katy, it is a pleasure to meet you. Welcome to the Minister's Office. Accidents and Catastrophes is a great department. I, myself, used to work within that department when I first became employed at the Ministry. There are some great people there and I'm sure you'll get along with them just fine." Reagan thought this liaison seemed promising and hoped she would enjoy her job.

Turning to Sarah, "So, you're Brian's sister? How wonderful! He used to work in this department before he became head of a department. Let's hope you have just as much success!"

Now directing her attention to both of the liaisons, "Well ladies, let me give you an idea of what I'd like for you to do. First things first, please note that outside this office is the Office of the Senior Undersecretary. We do not yet have a new one, as I just vacated that position when I became Minister, so for the time being you can report directly to Angelina Gilmore, who is the Junior Assistant, or myself. Once we hire a new Undersecretary, he or she will be the main person you report to, other than Angelina, of course. Should you ever need to speak with me directly for anything, just be sure to stop at the new Undersecretary's desk first. In this office, you will also find that memos about new assignments will be placed in an Outbox for you to pick up, as well as a place for you to submit completed reports. Always check these boxes frequently.

"Also, outside of the Undersecretary's office are the liaisons' desks. Please feel free to each find a vacant desk and set up your things. Once you've done that, head down to your respective departments and introduce yourselves to the department head, as well as the division heads and employees. They should know who they are working with, as should you. While you're down there, get an update on what those employees have been working on from the department head. Please submit a report once you've gathered this information so that I can be made aware of the status in each department."

Reagan knew she was giving these women a lot of information, but this was a fast-moving department and they needed to be thrown in feet first, "Lastly, once you've done those things, return here as I will be calling a department head meeting very soon and I'd like for each of you to be in attendance. Any questions?"

Grinning at Reagan's joke, Becca glanced at Brian and then back at Reagan. Ring? She wants to see the ring? "Of course" she smiled and then held up her hand for Reagan to see the ring on her finger. "Brian has fantastic taste" she nodded and then glanced at him again as the discussion turned business-like. Keeping her mouth shut while he dealt with it, she grinned at Sarah. One word drew her attention back to Reagan though. Undersecretary. That was a very good job, and she'd been unsuccessful in her other jobs, maybe it was a good idea to apply for that job? I just want my Ministry career to advance. Becca smiled at Reagan again and kept her mouth shut.

At what Reagan had said, Sarah smiled and nodded her head. "Thank you. I hope that I'll be able to be as successful as Brian too," she said, glancing over at Brian with a grin and then turned back to face the Minister as she gave out instructions at what she and the other new liaison were to do.

Sarah just stared at Reagan as she went on... and on about what they had to do. It was a loooooot of information. Sarah hoped that she'd be able to keep it all in her brain. She had to, because from the looks of it, things in this department was going to go very... fast.

"No questions, Minister. I believe you've covered a lot of ground there," she said, smiling and nodding her head. Oh yes. A lot of ground. "So I guess I'll get right to it then and leave you with Brian and Becca. I'll see you all in a bit then!" Sarah said, smiling as she gave them all a small wave goodbye, and left the office to do the first thing Reagan had said to do. Go pick an empty desk and set up her things.

Katy listened attentively as the Minister finished explaining everything memorizing everything that she said. Katy felt like a huge weight was thrown on her shoulders, but was extremely eager to begin her work. She replied to the Minister, "I don't have any question either Minister. Thank you so much for this opportunity, I'll get right to work!"

She followed the other new liason out of the Minister's office, and walked to her new desk, ready to begin what was hopefully a new and exciting career.

As soon as the two liasions left the room, a small package that had been floating outside the door landed with a small PLOP on the ground outside the door. On top of the box was a note

I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to congratulate you earlier on your recent win in the election. The Ministry is in good hands now and I cannot wait to see all the wonderful achievements you accomplish in your coming term. It was an honor being your campaign manager and I am so happy for you!

Once the box was opened, a giant bouquet pops out, decorated with what appears to be really colorful flowers. When you look closer, however, you see that each flower is an elaborately folded piece of paper. Who wants real flowers that die when you can get ORIGAMI ones?

Once read, the note folds up into a little swan and falls on the floor next to the box.

Brian laughed mildly without making noise as she joked along with him. "It's okay. Two weeks are enough and thank you for granting us this privilege" he said smilingly, really felt happy about that. He was already started to clear the works without pending.

As Reagan asked Becca to show her ring, he grinned. The ring was a classic one. Everyone admired its beauty and cuts.

He switched off to the work mode quickly when the talks turned to job related. "Sure Sure. I can send two extremely efficient people from each department when i get back to my office. If not I myself is ready to do the job" he assured her. He was so workaholic and he felt proud of it actually.

Brian's face wore a wide grin as Becca said something about his taste when she stretched her hand to show up the ring to Reagan. He could notice her beaming about it too. Sweet Becca.

As Sarah said to follow his footsteps well only on work basis hehe.. Brian smiled and took a glance at her. He knew she had the capacity to reach new heights. And he felt proud of his Sister.

Reagan gently laid her hand under Becca's so that she could look at her engagement ring. "It is absolutely stunning! The cut on that diamond is beautiful." Addressing Brian, "I must agree with Becca, you made an excellent choice, Brian." Reagan removed her hand from under Becca's and shook her head with a smile. "I can't say enough how pleased I am to know that you two have found such happiness. I truly wish you all the best. And I can't wait for the wedding."

Oh yes! Those were going to be two very excellent hires! Now all that needs to be done is to hire a Senior Undersecretary to direct them... I really ought to do that soon. But I really need to clean out this office first before I can have anyone in here for an official meeting. Perhaps I can just visit the office of the person I have in mind...

With an expression of surprise and curiosity, Reagan lifted the package and carried it over to the desk. Extracting the note from the package, Reagan read Ben's kind words with a 'Oh how sweet!' expression upon her face. She then slowly lifted the flaps of the box to find a beautiful bouquet of origami flowers! How fun and creative! "Ohhh, they're beautiful!" Sitting them right on the desk next to her new fun timepiece, Reagan stepped back to admire them and thought, I really need to send Mr. Cobblesten a thank you note.

"Very good. I do appreciate efficiency, especially now when there is so much to do and so very little time. I'll await their arrival in the interim. And I do very much appreciate you and Becca coming to visit me and invite me to your wedding. And I, of course, don't mean to be rude or push you out the door. I'm sure you understand what it is like to have mounds of work to do! And, unfortunately for me, before I can get to that work, I need to straighten this place out."

My workaholic, so ready and willing. And now he's happy I complimented his taste. Why doesn't he believe me in the first place? Becca smiled back at him and then turned her attention to Reagan "Thank you" Becca beamed. Understanding that she was a busy woman and had many things to do, Becca nodded and then looked up at Brian, waiting for him to move and then when he did, she moved to "Goodbye Minister, hope to see you at the wedding" Becca smiled.

Brian stood up, "No problem. It's my duty to provide you what you want. They will reach here in no time." he re-assured her. "And we hope to see you in our castle" he said smilingly. With that he turned and walked out of the office room with Becca by his side.

Oh yeah Olivia was nervous.This was the first time she had to come into contact with the Minister,and the last thing she wanted was to make an idiot of herself.Standing outside the door Olivia smoothed out her work robes and tied her hair back in a tight bun.She was ready for work....ready.

Knocking gently on the half open door,Olivia stuck her head inside,not sure whether to enter or wait.Seeing that the Minister was there,she cleared her throat and in a croaky voice introduced herself. "Umm hello,Minister Taylor? I'm Olivia,Mr Lee sent me from Maintenance.He said you needed some help clearing furniture?"

Please don't let her kill me.

Reagan had returned to Cooper's things ony briefly before she heard another knock on the door. "Oh Olivia! Please come in. Thank you for heading up here so quickly! I must say, I'm rather pleased by the efficiency of the Maintenance Department. Excellent, excellent." Reagan gestured for the woman to enter the office and began explaining, "Most of the furniture in here belonged to Minister Cooper and, thus, needs to be removed from the office and returned to him, so that I can move my furniture in. If you could, please start with the four green leather chairs," those hideous things. Ugh. "And move them into the undersecretary office just outside the door. We can gather all the furniture out there and then decide how we'll get them to Brennan," Reagan added.
