"Thanks,"Miley said.She took the coffee and took a sip."I'm checking in,unfortunaltly.I'm going to be so bored today.In the Education Depatment,it's not fun,at all."

Cassandra laughed. "Wait, Department of Education is boring?" Cassie mocked her sister. "But mum and dad thinks what you are doing is worth while while I'm just wasting my life."

"Ha ha,"Miley said."I'd rather be a Auror than a..watcha-call-it."

Cassie turned to Jimmy. "Always the brains but hates her work, you would think she would be comfortable with what she does." She laughed and turned back to her sister. "I would say we could trade for a day, but one, if they found out we both could get fired and two, even if they didn't find out, we both could get fired." She laughed. Sure Cassie wasn't stupid, but she wouldn't be able to work in the department of education, even the name of it makes her want to run away. And as for Miles being an Auror, if there was a mission they had to do, well, she wasn't trained for one thing, and for another, things wouldn't turn out pretty.

"You wouldn't last one hour in the Examination Authroity,"Miley said with a smile.

Alex nodded. "No I wouldn't, just like you wouldn't last an hour as an Auror." She laughed.

"Actually,"Miley said."I would last an hour and two minutes."

Cassandra rolled her eyes at her sister. She turned to Jimmy and smiled. "Don't mind her, she thinks she can beat me at everything." Cassie laughed

"I know I could,"Miley said."You just don't want to admit that in public."

Richard shuffled his newspaper and set it down. He got up and paced up and down for a bit to stretch his legs. He glanced at the fireplaces and looked away. But at that moment a new arrival emerged from one of the grates. It was a stumbling shuffling wizard. He was around fifty years old and in tattered robes. He stumbled toward the desk and Richard caught a strong smell of alcohol.
The man banged his fist on the desk and with one and a half eyes open said in a voice as if he was settling a score "i wanna 'ave a word wiff, wiff, wiff. . .Wossisis name"
"Sir, I beg your pardon but you're not in any state to...." started Richard politely hands clasped together with a slight crease between his eyebrows.
"SHADDUP" the man interuppted "lemme finish, I wanna word with your quidditch peeble"
"Well..."
"Did you 'ear abouta cannons? cancelled! they were on the up 'an all"
Richard walked around the desk and grasped the man by the upper arm.
"I don't mean to be rude but you were in here last week complaining about exactly the same thing and the cannons were indeed playing. Plus you arent in any fit state to..."
The man whirled a fist at which point Richard jumped back taking out his wand as he did and aimed a spell at the man who flew in to the air still flailing his arms and swearing loudly. Richard read the man the rights he had for being detained in a temporary cell within the ministry and walked off to the side of the atrium guiding the man with his wand.

Miley looked at the man who started a fight and looked back at her friends."Who was that?"

Richard returned from the temporary cells. He pulled out the log book and jotted a little note in the back. "Oh hes just a bit passionate about his drink and quidditch...and ales. But hes pushing his luck" Richard replied to Miley. "God knows what hes like when the cannons actually lose" he added as an afterthought, "still its people like him that shake the job up really",

"Oh,"Miley said.

Jeremy entered the Security Office. He gave a look around. and walked behind the security desk. He set himself down and looked at the papers scattered around. Today was goign to be a long day

"Hey Jeremy." Jimmy said as he watched at Jeremy sat down beside him, "I've been trying to get things organized, but someone completely messed up all the wand reciepes." He said as, he tried helping Jeremy gather up all the papers. "I mean we have some reciepes out from 3 months ago, and other from yesterday.." He said with a loud sigh.

Jeremy laughed. "Well, we got all day. Ready to get this straightened? Then maybe we can actually see what we gotta do." he said and looked at Jimmy.

Cassie looked as a guy she didn't know came in and started working. "Hey, if you're busy Jimmy, we'll go, you probably have a lot of boring work to do." She teased.

"Yup. I'm with you on that one." Jimmy said with a little smirk, before he gulped down what was left of his cup of coffee, then grabbed half of the pile of papers, leaving Jeremy with the other half. He then started sorting through them. "So anything intereting happen around here when I was gone on my weeks vacation?"

He then turned to Cassie, "Yah I do have alot of stuff to get organised right now, but its up to you.. I'm pretty good at multi taskin." He said with a little wink.

Jeremy just then noticed there was a girl in the office he didnt know. "O was I interupting anything?" he asked smiling at the girl. "Im Jeremy by the way. Sorry." he turned back to his papers and said to Jimmy. "Well to be honest. I havent been here. My sister was having a baby so I had to go bac home and be with her. Shes ...." he raised his eyebrows. "A little youg."

"oh.. Really? How old?" Jimmy asked, hoping he didnt sound to noisey. As he began stacking the reciepes from oldest to newest.

Cassie smiled at Jeremy. "Nice to meet you, I'm Cassandra, Cassie for short." She said offering the man a friendly smile. "And this is my twin sister, Miley." She said, indicating the girl beside her. "You didn't interrupt anything, anything important anyway." She said smiling at Jimmy.

Jeremy smiled. "Twins? Wow" he said without looking up from the papers he was sorting. "Shes about 17. She actually just had a girl." he said smiling knowing the girl was his new god daughter.

"Hello,Jeremy.I'm Miley.You can call me Miles,"Miley said.

Edward stands for a moment and takes in the atrium. Nothing has changed except the photo of the Minister of Magic. He never thought Brennan Cooper would have get the job. Edward figured Doyle would win that prize too. After a few minutes Edward pulls out his old ID card and heads over to the security desk. The photo doesn't look a thing like him now. He has long black hair and a beard back then. Edward takes out his wand and the orders he received from the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. "Hello, I'm Edward Lestrange. I have an appointment with the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. This is my first day back at the Ministry, and I don't exactly know what I'm suppose to do." Edward puts his old ID badge, wand and his orders on the desk.

Edward walked to the desk and glared at the employees allowing a new person to stand there. He would deal with them in a moment.

He took the wand and placed it on the scales. While he waited for the results he read the letter. "based upon your old badge, I suppose you know where you are going, Mr. Lestrange."

He took the reciept, glanced to see it was acceptable and handed back his wand and a new employee badge. "Have a good day, Sir."
